1441  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how to search currency exchange on: January 21, 2022, 11:58:24 PM
Try your luck in https://www.reclaimcrypto.com/

They are partnered with some exchanges and can flag the address in their database. BUT keep your expectations low! we don't know how fast it's gonna take (they might not even inform you...), it could be outside their list of partnered exchange, some cases will surely get prioritized like those who lost huge amounts of money, and there's a fair chance your funds may have already been in the thief's personal non-custodial wallet or cashed out.
1442  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What do you think about the platform FYBIT.com ? on: January 21, 2022, 07:36:17 PM
I can’t say for sure that this is Bitseven, but so far I have been trading with them and everything is very similar. I may be wrong, time will tell. As long as I like everything, there are no problems.

As I said before, that's a weak reasoning. Take a look at kucoin and binance for example. Although they are very similar, they are not the same company/exchange.

But I do I agree that there are/there won't be any problems for you because you are affiliated with the website which explains your unconditional love for it.
1443  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where to report fraudulent services? (EU) Blackcatcard is a scam! on: January 21, 2022, 02:35:26 AM
Hmmm... you can try to encourage fellow victims to report as well. The more people join, the more likely to be taken seriously but I would probably still keep my expectations low.

Also see number 15 and 61 of [HUGE LIST] Useful Crypto Links !!! for a list of communities to share your story with!
1444  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What do you think about the platform FYBIT.com ? on: January 20, 2022, 05:52:40 AM
Why do you think they are bitseven under a different brand? similar interface? cause that's a pretty weak basis. Lots of scam websites copied cex.io and binance and there was no stopping them from it. If bitseven really had a good reputation, it doesn't make sense to go under a different name (hiding that they are bitseven) and start building reputation from zero all over again...

I agree with the members above, the way OP struggles to take in red flags and just continue to shower compliments, definitely makes this look like another attempt to subtly shill...
1445  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for interesting media resources (any topic) on: January 14, 2022, 04:12:06 PM
Sometimes its hard to read a useful contents since there are so many trash threads which have similar replies to the people so I guess finding direct media source is best option if we want to seek latest information or news about crypto. And I guess we can search this one on google or in facebook since for sure media sites will pop up if we just search their names or the information what we seek.

It's all about finding the right thread, topics that are less likely to get spammed. But OP doesn't need to delve into the whole discussion cause there are stand alone threads which first post is good enough already. Tbf, media outlets aren't exactly free from dirt either. I've seen a lot of articles with misleading headlines and sometimes straight up misinformation... thus for every source of information, readers discretion is always advised.
1446  Economy / Exchanges / Re: does anyone know the catex exchange team could get help on: January 13, 2022, 11:53:19 PM
Some links from their nuked team page still works, try to shoot the team a PM, see https://web.archive.org/web/20190331163514/https://www.catex.io/team

If that doesn't work, start posting in public cryptocurrency communities and subtly let them know about it. Better add proofs to solidify your case as well.

Last resort is to pretend you're planning a lawsuit.

would anyone have any connections to the catex exchange to get the coins back good reward. contacs ...@protonmail.com

Sorry OP, but you are more likely to receive scam PMs, be careful out there.
1447  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for interesting media resources (any topic) on: January 12, 2022, 09:38:46 PM
Why not pick from here? I think we have a good amount of enganging reads and since ppl tend to lean more on news outlets/informative websites rather than message boards, it has less chances of getting copied. Just don't confuse facts and opinions. We can all have different opinions about something but there is only one fact that's why it wouldn't be so weird to see it all over the internet.
1448  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Problem of not receiving mail from only Bittrex on: January 12, 2022, 06:29:57 PM
I have same problem. Why are so many having this, are this a bug in Bittrex.I get e-mail from them ,just not the verification mail to log in.

It's a problem that exist in every services that relies on emails. I've had my fair share as well, just not in bittrex but in other platforms. What worked for me was trying again after waiting for an hour or two, or less.

But before that, try the first aid

Bittrex: https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001324851-Not-receiving-email-from-Bittrex
Bittrex global: https://bittrexglobal.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009625040-Not-receiving-email-from-Bittrex-Global

If none worked, proceed to contact bittrex/global and your email provider.

@jaskcon

Waiting for 6 months... that's horrible. Such investigation shouldn't take that long and it's not like they are very in demand either, that excuse is hard to buy.

Don't you think it's weird that you only got some sort of resolution from them after you started posting in a public forum? makes me think they are aware of your posts and therefore decided to only issue a refund for the sake of their image... I'd look for other places with a much better reputation.
1450  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What the fuck does binance want? on: January 11, 2022, 04:14:21 AM
If basic troubleshooting doesn't work, don't stress yourself out and reach out to support instead. Not to mention, if you try multiple times in a short span of time, it could end up as a spam.

I strongly believe not everything can be captured well in today's KYC, this is why some could slip thru or may not pass thru. Some exchanges started offering manual verification where an actual person reviews your documents, you can try asking if binance has the same thing.
1451  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: need help finding wallet on: January 07, 2022, 07:23:38 PM
and i think i remember looking into how to download my own software & make my own passwords with a password generator that had 29 maybe 30 or like 58 characters as options

Any chance this was a password manager as well?

Speaking of, browsers have built in password managers. Are you the type that saves login info in your browser? and possibly have an account connected with the browser as well? if so, there's a chance you might have synced it so it's been saved in a cloud. Try looking into it if you haven't.

PS: it's not advisable to save important passwords in your browser and cloud accounts.
1452  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: need help finding wallet on: January 06, 2022, 01:54:12 AM
Same thought as hosseinimr93, it could be blockchain.com (used to be blockchain.info)

Does your wallet ID looks like this?

A wallet identifier is composed of 32 alphanumeric characters and 4 dashes, and takes the following format:

xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

The problem is when the authorization email request triggers which would be a problem cause you don't have an access to your email account, unless you have your seed phrase (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Seed_phrase) wiith you. Do you not have anything that resembles it?
1453  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Oxchanger.com] Deposit Any Coin to forward Other Coin on: January 05, 2022, 09:38:53 AM
A lot are indeed missing, I suggest looking into your competitors for reference, see: Instant exchanges. Probably add 'beta' or something in the thread title as well so ppl would know it isn't the final output yet.

Just so we're on the same page... after the transaction receives enough blockchain confirmation, it would take an average of 35 mins for the trade to complete? If so, that's indeed way too long and would set you at a significant disadvantage over your competitors. As for me, I use services such as this for for quick and convenient swap/trades so 35 mins would be a turn off.
1454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone who's familiar with cottoncandyTA? on: January 04, 2022, 10:00:32 AM
The guy seems to be preying on newbies so it's kinda weird to still watch his videos... In a way you are still giving him some sort of support because it adds views to his channel and videos which has been used by a lot in order to appeal more legit.
1455  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I am looking for a job on: January 04, 2022, 04:06:18 AM
/r/slavelabour/ gets a good amount of traffic and there's no stopping you from offering bitcoin as a payment method for your clients cause other redditors have been doing the same, but it's probably better to offer both fiat/crypto in order to reach more ppl.

As you probably guessed from its name, the rates aren't competitive but i think it's not a bad starting platform to build up portfolio/connections/regulars.
1456  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ⚡️Instant, fully automatic exchange with Lightning Network!⚡️ on: January 03, 2022, 07:27:22 AM
hi,
the button to reverse coins are not work, if click, dont work more...

Looks like there's something wrong with the pair. If you hop on their permalink for ETH TO BTC (https://fixedfloat.com/exchange/eth-to-btc) it would return btc -> btc, manually adding the said pair doesn't work either. But the reverse button works fine with other pairs like xmr <-> btc, ltc <-> usdt

The OP doesn't seem active here anymore, I would ask for an update in one of these: https://fixedfloat.com/support
1457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we have trading chatroom exclusive for bitcointalk traders? on: January 03, 2022, 02:54:03 AM
Another option is to start a mega thread for your short/quick questions. Probably keep it self-moderated and set some rules so discussion/s would be much easier to follow.

You might wanna look into the Bitcointalk Party - Discord server as well and see if they can cater the discussions you're interested in but for sure it's not "exclusive for bitcointalk traders/members" since an outsider could join in (basing from the ANN).
1458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Newbie Needs some help :D on: January 01, 2022, 04:25:04 AM
But not how to you get the money, how do you pay something with it and all ! I just wanted to have some explanations or wich wallets can be goood/wich crypto is intresting for a begginer ^^. Btw I swear I'm not a scam or anything, I read a lot about Zelcore wallet and felt like it was cool to use ! I started mining flux but I don't thinks It's so worth it, the value keeps going down. I just wan't some basic tips that aren't mentionned in articles or whatever ! Cheesy

Take this as a general information: if you wanna send some cryptocurrency to someone, you would need to get their address (string of alphanumeric character). Just like how you would need either the account number, email, or phone number of your recipient if you wanna send money thru your bank. If you're looking for a tutorial of a particular wallet, you are likely to find it in their respective website.

The good wallets are the non-custodial, open source, feature-rich, receives frequent updates and has a good community reputation e.g. electrum.org (btc only), trezor.io
(Also, zelcore doesn't seem as good, see: ZelCore wallet)

It would be easier to start learning with a specific coin first rather than going for general information. I'd go with bitcoin, the first cryptocurrency, check https://bitcoin.org/ for guides.

The fact is that I'm french so sometimes the vocabulary here seems difficult, mostly when you don't know some words about crypto and some basic words too ^^

It might be better to post in the Français local board instead.
1459  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Hoping there's another someone that needed Pizza lol on: December 29, 2021, 10:00:25 PM
I think he's joking.

I don't think so. I'm not getting any "joke" signal from their post.

The options were limited several years ago, but now the available options are very numerous, and you can choose between them to choose the cheapest.

True. That's why "for people who would do this, it's more of a for fun rather than a need". The pizza day is a commemorative event so it's not impossible that someone out there might want to commemorate, but maybe we're too early for that hahaha. still, it wouldn't hurt to do an interest check at this time.
1460  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Hoping there's another someone that needed Pizza lol on: December 28, 2021, 12:25:48 AM
Hope there's still another one craving for Pizza. Cheesy Freshly ship from the Philippines LOL

So if i'm coming from US, how would you ship it from the philippines? or did you mean you'll order it yourself?

In any case since we're talking about microtransactions, I would look into LN especially if you're targeting Philippines which has a lower purchasing power. The problem is escrow since you're not reputable enough, you need it and might have a hard time getting one. There's also the personal information like full name and address that you might need to get which could pose a problem for a lot of users...

Honestly, it's a lot easier to just buy a giftcard and order for yourself but i guess for people who would do this, it's more of a "for fun" rather than "a need"
