1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I Am So Done With Betting Until.... on: November 22, 2022, 03:52:28 PM

this right here is the reason why I kept saying on this thread why an investigation should be done about this bribery rumor that has been spread to the public. then I realized that even if FIFA didn't find anything, doubts would still be there.

FIFA won't ever find anything because they are getting the biggest piece from the bribe pie.

Qatar spent ~$220 billion for this world cup.

Have you ever thought, how a country like Qatar, which is against every western value, has no football stadium, has a complete shit football team, hosting a world cup?

Did you think FIFA let them be the host for free?

How many billions did the FIFA got from Qatar as a bribe?
1482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I Am So Done With Betting Until.... on: November 22, 2022, 01:00:48 PM
I think I am one of the unluckiest gambler/bettor out here, today is one of my worst days again and I think I should quit betting.

I went all in on Argentina thinking their match against Saudi Arabia would be an easy win for them, and the fact that the odds were so far away against Saudi Arabia winning while it was in huge favor of Argentina caused me to be so sure that Argentina was going to win the match, and then, I went all in, hoping to make some big wins just like yesterday, but now, everything is gone, in just a twinkle of an eye...
Argentina is a big disappointment, It's still hard to believe, I quit betting until I am able to forget this experience entirely.

Your mistake was betting on the Qatar World Cup. Haven't you seen the news Qatar bribing Ecuador?

Reports: Qatar Bribed Eight Ecuadorian Players $7.4 Million to Lose World Cup Opener

What makes you think that Argentina haven't sold the game to the rich Saudis? That's a very good possibility.

Saudis have lots of money and Argentina is dirt poor. Since the tournament is already a very dirty and corrupted one to begin with, we might see more surprises like this.

You know what is going to be more surprising? Saudis or Qataris winning the world cup.

Total shit show.

-cut-
All Ukraine had to do was getting along well with Putin but he had that crazy idea of winning a war against Russia. Zelensky the NATO plant is delusional and ruined Ukraine completely.
Wow, by your logic everyone just has to do as Russia tells them or get ready to be invaded? Or get invaded even if you do?
Well now Putin played Finland And Sweden to NATO too which seemed impossible just before the invasion and most Finnish people were always against that. Before the war happened.

Issue with Russia would be that if they succeeded invading Ukraine, it wouldn't stop there. Putin has been pretty clear that what comes to borders, he want's to fix the mistakes of Lenin, and Finland is one of them.

Yes that’s how my logic works.

This exact thing happened when the US invaded Iraq and Syria.

This is how this game works. Big fish eats little fish. Wake up snowflake.

Hopefully Finland and Sweden ain’t dumb enough to join Nato.
1484  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lay off vs Pay cut on: November 22, 2022, 04:39:58 AM
Let's suppose your boss called you into his/her office and explained the company's situation. He/she then gives you the option of getting laid off or taking a 50% pay cut. If you were to choose one of these options, what would it be and why?

Wow this is a very tough call. Ideally you should get laid off and look for another job but since everybody is losing their jobs in a such environment, a 50% pay cut don't look really bad. This is how the beginning of a recession looks like. Either with no job or a 50% paying job, people will have to spend less and less. That's what the high interest rates do to the economy and you know what? It should have happened long time ago. The FED was too late to act and even believed their own "inflation is transitory" bullshit.
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is fiat to Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2022, 06:56:53 AM
Lately, I've seen so many bitcoin holders speak so badly of fiat and how much they wouldn't want to associate themselves with fiat usage if possible, but I took some time to make a little research and from my research, I do observed that Bitcoin usage wouldn't be an easy one without fiat not even in countries where Bitcoin is legalized and my question is,
can Bitcoin be easily used and spent without Fiat?
My answer is No

What's your opinion?
Let's discuss

You are right. We still live in a FIAT world and bitcoin won't replace it any time soon. Heck I believe FIAT can't be replaced by anything... Not by bitcoin, not by gold, not by any other asset. The greatest weakness of FIAT is also its greatest strength which is getting printed at will. Believe it or not, somehow we need an asset that loses its value over time. That's because the humanity is expanding, multiplying, making more babies. In the end they need to get paid but get paid less and less, not nominally but in terms of real wealth.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A reminder about the media on: November 21, 2022, 05:17:17 AM
I'd like to remind those of you who feel wear down by the  market and the media headlines make them feel even worse.
You wake up, check the news and get served a bunch of FUD about bitcoin. Then you go to youtube and get another dose because most bitcoiners there turned into bearish haters.
Here's a quick reminder that they're wrong every time and always follow the trend.

Stay strong and don't follow the media Cool

Youtube and legacy media (TV, newspaper, magazines) are all about getting clicks/interaction. They don't care if the news is accurate or not, if their predictions make sense... No. They only want you to read their crap and get the ad providers' money. Basically they are feeding you with bullshit to get the ad givers money. The more ridiculous bullshit they spew out, the more shit flies they attract. That's why we have seen crazy price estimates like $1.000.000. Some dude which is dead by now even said he is going to eat his dick if bitcoin hits $1.000.000.
1487  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Ukraine win the war with NATO's covert assistance? on: November 20, 2022, 04:45:56 AM
NATO won't go to war for Ukraine and Ukraine can't win shit unless somebody else their war for them. No matter how many weapons Ukraine gets from NATO, it won't make a difference because Russia is just too strong for them to handle. In the end Russia will get whatever they want, NATO won't lift a finger (it is because Ukraine isn't a NATO country) and life will go on as usual. Hell I am not even sure if NATO would help Poland or Turkey if Russia was invading these countries. NATO should just disband imo.
Why do you have so much love for russia and hatred for Ukraine?
What did the Ukrainians do wrong to you?

I don't hate Ukrainians. I don't particularly love Russians neither. They are pretty much the same people for me. The difference is one of them sockpuppeting NATO even thought they are not a member and the other one has a legit claim which is not wanting any NATO members on their borders.

Russia said to Ukraine: "Don't join NATO or get ready for the consequences."

Ukraine said to Russia: "We are an independent country we do whatever we want."

Well, Russia is an independent country too and now they are doing "whatever" they want. They don't want any NATO presence in Ukraine just like how the US don't want any Russian missiles in Cuba.

All Ukraine had to do was getting along well with Putin but he had that crazy idea of winning a war against Russia. Zelensky the NATO plant is delusional and ruined Ukraine completely.
1488  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The FTX conspiracy on: November 19, 2022, 12:57:08 PM
It is not just that, they even funded an article that is against the use of ivermectin.

Quote
Earlier this year, the New York Times trumpeted a study that showed no benefit at all to the use of Ivermectin. It was supposed to be definitive. The study was funded by FTX. Why? Why was a crypto exchange so interested in the debunking of repurposed drugs in order to drive governments and people into the use of patented pharmaceuticals, even those like Ramdesivir that didn’t actually work? Inquiring minds would like to know.
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/covidcrypto-connection-grim-saga-ftx-sam-bankman-fried

You know who is pro-vaccination certificates, pro-lockdowns, anti-ivermectin etc. ? The democrats.

FTX/Sam is basically a democrat muppet. It is not a surprise that he donated the democrats huge amounts. I mean, he is the biggest democrat donator right after George Soros. What the fuck?
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar bribed 8 players from Ecuador for the opening match on: November 19, 2022, 06:48:42 AM
Didn't surprise me one bit. The other day I saw the news that Qatar is hiring people from Pakistan to create a fake fan audience.

Look at this shit:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-11429323/World-Cup-2022-Qatar-accused-paying-hundreds-fake-fans-Tiktok-video.html

And then they banned beer sales...

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-11442203/Qatar-want-alcohol-sales-World-Cup-stadiums-BANNED.html

Hopefully no sane person will watch these games or bet on them.

A corrupted country like Qatar didn't deserve to be the WC host in the first place. They banned beer, nobody likes them and they are trying to hire people to give an image that they are a lively country which everybody loves and want to visit.

No, Qatar is a shithole which nobody wants to visit or care about.
1490  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is the only crypto you should BUY on: November 19, 2022, 04:12:49 AM
Bitcoin is the only true decentralized crypto currency without an owner or a CEO. Every other crypto is either premined, got a CEO or both. Eth is premined and has Vitalik, LTC has Charlee etc..: Bitcoin is premined too but those coins never moved and satoshi is missing for years. That makes btc the safest option out there. Every other crypto is only trying to be fake bitcoins.
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Must it be the last game? on: November 18, 2022, 01:44:03 PM
Have your heard about Murphy's law?

It is basically:  "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong."

In your case, If your victory depends on the last game, you are going to lose that game.

Always assume the worst in every situation because 9 times out of 10, the worst will happen.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: November 18, 2022, 09:36:48 AM
Is it possible to stick with free spins on online casinos and still be able to make some good reward?

I am looking into the free side of things, no risk at all with free spins but the question is has anyone ever make something out of free spins before? Something reasonable at?

The last time I earned something free from gambling websites was when BTC has very low value and many faucets still run, that's couple of years back.

I've been getting free WoF spins from freebitco.in and a few times I got 5000 rw/tickets and btc till now. I'd say freespins on freebitco.in works. It may not work on the other casinos but freebitco.in is legit. I am actually making money from those spins and taking money from the casino. I have no idea how they are sustaining this because this must be one of the most generous casino ever existed and still in business after like 6 or 7+ years.
1493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have Lucky Casino? on: November 18, 2022, 06:55:24 AM
I’m playing same set of games on different casino not just to get the bonuses of each casino but also to have a different mood of my mind set. It really helps me to calm down and focus whenever I’m losing big time on one casino. It also helps me to not chase my previous losses because I think about it as fresh start.

With this regular routine, I notice that I have a specific casino that I’m always winning despite I’m playing same game that I lose huge amount on the other casino. I do randomly change the sequence of my game on casino and keeps giving me same good result on my personal lucky casino. I highly believe that this luck of mine related on how I feel when playing on that casino. I’m expecting that I will be lucky so my mind is always optimistic whenever I’m playing on it.

Do you have this kind of casino?

I never thought about it tbh. I always thought it as my own luck. Mathematically though, you have more chance to win on the casinos that have a lower house edge. Does that lucky casino of yours have a lower house edge than the other casinos you played on? Maybe that's the explanation of what's happening. Other than the house edge, every casino is more or less the same assuming that they are all honest.

1495  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So many good news but Market and coins don't go up on: November 17, 2022, 08:51:49 AM
It is because we are still in a huge bear market. The interest rates are still rising, the inflation is still high, a major crypto exchange went bankrupt… The environment is no good for crypto at the moment and it will stay like that for a while. Don’t expect a recovery before these major issues get resolved. Bitcoin may not go lower than this (it is still a possibility though) but it is not going to get a new ATH neither. In the long run it will be fine. (2-5 years)
1496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo partners with Binance on: November 17, 2022, 04:32:17 AM
Good news for crypto but C. Ronaldo isn’t having his brightest days lately. I heard his team mates don’t want him in the team anymore. That’s a very sad ending for a great player like C.R. On the other hand that’s an incredible thing for Binance/CZ. He shows the world he has the funds to hire anybody he wants. Messi, Ronaldo, Pele it don’t matter. If CZ wants it, it is just a matter of setting the price.
1497  Economy / Economics / Re: Nations should impose special taxes on oil firms: UN Secretary General on: November 15, 2022, 05:49:12 PM
This headline reeks of communism.

You can't get mad at the oil companies just because they are making profits. For years they worked for a loss. Has this shithead wanted to help them when they were making no profits? No, he didn't care.

These are very dangerous talks threatening the existence of capitalism.
1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ proposes an Industry recovery fund. on: November 15, 2022, 04:31:37 AM
Why would CZ care for the other exchanges? Why would he want to bail them out? Is he doing this because he is a nice guy? Is binance trying to become the central bank of crypto? Bailing out the exchanges they like and bankrupt the ones they don’t?

This is a bad, very bad move. It just makes the current situation even worse imo.
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Reduce Gambling Related Issues Like Suicide etc? on: November 14, 2022, 06:32:54 PM
Gambling is harmless as long as it don't become an addiction. Getting addicted to gambling what makes it dangerous imo. People get addicted to various things every day. Smoking, drinking, gambling, chocolates, coffee, drugs... Gambling is just one of those bad habits. Like you said in the OP, there are various underlying reasons that make a person a gambling addict. They are mostly psychological.

A healthy family environment and a good education are usually enough to overcome being an addict.
1500  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can Binance also get bankrupt soon? on: November 13, 2022, 01:12:38 PM
If I learned one thing about crypto, it is that anything is possible. Can binance go bankrupt? Why not... Soon? Why not... FTX went bankrupt out of the blue. Why wouldn't binance do the same thing? How can one be sure that CZ isn't a lying sob?

Nobody will ever be safe unless everybody keep their coins in cold/offline wallets. No matter how big or trusted a crypto exchange is, it may always fail or get hacked. FTX wasn't the first one to get hacked and it won't be the last.
