Sorry to hear that. I will install my backup D-Link camera and point to the avalons. All images ftp'ed to a remote server.

Is the coil good or is it torn / cut? You can ask someone to re-solder it.

May I ask what the direct USB feature is?
Somewhat along these lines: USB communication to the USB chip without UART emulation

Update -- found the crontab it's in /etc/crontabs/root so I will keep you updated. As an aside, I am using WiFi and not hard ethernet which from others threads seems to perpetuate the issue. Anyone else having this problem?
is F1 fuse on the controller board removed?

no delay.
No batch 4 ? Because dude, I would love to throw some money at you. IF we do make/sell batch #4, we will get it ready to ship before taking orders, as said at the conference. +1

@BitSyncom, when can we order Avalon modules to upgrade our miners?
soon as batch #2 finish shipping, modules should go out about the same time as batch #3, also trade-in emails are being sent also, just getting the shop ready to handle it. Great thanks!

So 8.2GH/s without tons of CGMINER errors?
The cgminer errors seem to have something to do with come kind of hex2str conversion problem. I think that this new firmware is not quite supported by cgminer. I believe it is indeed hashing at (or near) 8.2 GH/s since uploaded shares is currently ~117 per minute, much higher than i was getting before. Wel this should be a notable milestone

Ok guys. The good news is that my Jalapeno is alive again. I downloaded the firmware from the Jalapeno and it was obviously trashed. Somehow, it looked like the actual JTAG commands that were sent using that crappy software got written to the flash. It was also a challenge getting the JTAG hooked up to the Jalapeno PCB because the heat sink was in the way of the cable, and since I had to remove the heat sink, I needed to way to cool it when I applied power. I ended up putting masking tape around the ASIC chips and pressing the metal backplate on the top of the chips. Fortunately, the metal didn't get that hot when I was programming. But, when it finished programming, the chips got hot real fast. I guess that was a good sign ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ! I compiled the firmware with no changes to the code and although it is working, there are a ton of errors in cgminer. I will see whats up with it later tonight since I have to go someplace soon. It is now hashing at 8.2 GH/s ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) So 8.2GH/s without tons of CGMINER errors?

Question: Is 300MHz the maximum clock speed for avalon or is there a way to try to see if higher clock speeds work?

|

from Avalon? who else has received this?
Yes, I received tracking information from Avalon. How many units? Okay Thanks! I am keeping a tally here
