@tokeweed yep, we've been pursuing him (or Klopp has anyway) for at least 3 seasons now, but he's always been too expensive, and then it was also a matter of timing, and now our old backroom acquisition people are gone also, so I'm not sure. It does appear owners are finally willing to consider the fee but then now we're not the only ones.

Ah yeah...  When he was at Birmingham, I couldn't get why no EPL club had acquired him way cheaper than what BVB will be asking for during the transfer window.  And from what I've been reading, BVB might not even let him go that easily and would want to hold him down with a new contract that would surely make his asking price go up a bit.  He'll prolly become the most expensive 20 year old during the summer.

And what is it with BVB.  They seem to always know where to get them cheap.  :/

^  Jon Jones' wrestling advantage should be enough to take on Gane, grind him against the cage and take him down eventually.  Dunno..  I just can't imagine a scenario that gives Gane the advantage.  And who knows, Jones could end up making it look easy.

As for Adesanya vs Pereira, yeah, I think Pereira gets the W again.  He's just way bigger and stronger than Adesanya.  And now knowing that he could stay in there and take Adesanya out when he tries to throw more volume makes me think that he's gonna try to throw more volume right off the bat and could give Adesanya more trouble.

Yeah, I think Pereira does. Whether it's just his kryptonite, Izzy just can't seem to do it. He dominated that fight right up until the end. So, I know Izzy is more than capable, and in fact at the end of the first or second round he actually rocked Alex pretty bad. If it wasn't the end of the round that could've been the end right there for Alex. Since, both of these fighters when in trouble stay standing, and don't actually dive for the legs. So, usually when they get rocked that's the end.

I know they say that 'size doesn't matter' about many things including a lot of match ups made in MMA, but I guess in this case, it def does matter.  Pereira is a natural 205'er competing at 185 and Adesanya on the other hand was just shown that he'll get over powered whatever he does.  I mean Adesanya did almost got Pereira out at the end of the first round but other than that Pereira was taking it and biding his time.  And when he saw his opportunity, Adesanya couldn't do anything.  Ref had to stop it.

And I fancy Pereira fighting at 205 for the belt this year...  Going for the ole double champ status.
1703  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rise described as false bull on: January 28, 2023, 01:38:46 PM
It's not a false bull or bull trap, as the tendency is already lasting for a whole month, and probably it will. I believe if it were a trap it wouldn't have lasted for longer than one week. Bitcoin is retaking its previous position from last year, before the time seasonal holidays started, that is usually when people cashout their funds to travel and buy gifts, consequently crashing BTC. However, there can be bull traps soon on Bitcoin's way towards superior price ranges, such as 40,000$ and 50,000$.
Even if it is a trap, people that invested at $16000 are gaining now, the price would have to reduce back before another unrealised loss. The price of bitcoin may fall below $20000 again, but why should people call it a trap? Anyone that want to invest when the price of bitcoin is significantly low like this time and do not want any unrealised loss should just never invest. Some people do not want to think that $100000 is possible by next year or next two years, they are only talking about bull trap when the price of bitcoin is even still low.

Yup I think a lot of people are getting concerned with stuff that they shouldn't get concerned about.  People should just ask themselves how they could trade the recent move and make a little bit of something on the side.  Just trade the move and set up your stop loss.  For all we know BTC could rise up to 30k before going back down again, which could make for a good short on the way down and make a little more something something.
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 28, 2023, 01:25:45 PM
FA Cup this weekend so a nice break for LFC fans. I know the FA Cup is a good trophy to win but OMG, it feels good to have a break from being absolutely crap in the PL. we can’t be any worse than our last visit to Brighton, can we.

Hopefully with Jota coming back soon & Luis Diaz not too far away things will get better. I’m still just in shock that we’re not buying a midfielder, it’s borderline gross negligence imo.

I knew we had a break but I thought there'd be midweek footie in the league and then I see Superbru and it's actually next Friday that we start again so yeah, I'm with you on this. Need a break, the team needs it, and we need to count that clock down on injuries (maybe get some early returns?).

I hate to say it too but feels like Bellingham's a more and more distant buy, think we waited too long to cough up. Hope I'm wrong.

Oh and damned City...

Wait what?  Klopp is finally deciding to raid his old club?  Bellingham is gonna be a major acquisition as he's not just one of the young prospects with high potential to be great, the guy is from England.  So LFC having him in will be a plus on the pitch, in the club and as a money maker thru shirt sales.  I hope Klopp gets him.

And what's up with City? ...  Don't tell me.  Guardiola and Txiki are going for him too and could convince him to wear the sky blue?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Edit:  Ah, it looks like Liverpool leads the race for Bellingham.  They could prolly get a deal done but they might not get him out of BVB until summer.  Dunno.

It looks like it's official folks...  It's gonna be a rematch between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira for UFC 287.  Kinda disappointed as I thought Adesanya was gonna take the back seat a bit and rest.  I was expecting Robert Whittaker to get his shot against Pereira.  That would've been a more intruiging match up imho.  It was also announced that the co main event will be Gilbert Burns vs Jorge Masvidal.  Been a while since we saw Masvidal in there.  I think he gets starched by Burns.  Lol.

1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: January 27, 2023, 10:29:07 PM
Just move forward with the flow of the market and never be greedy or have some plans to invest with the expectation of 1000x return. In the past it happened and people were ready to have patience. Now the same isn't the situation which makes these kind of expectation failure to analyse and invest on the right altcoin. Expecting 1000x will happen and it is pure gambling.
it still happens now mate but only for once in a blue moon or at least once i a thousand if not million project meaning that it is better to seek for x5 than x1000 as we cannot even see x100 happening commonly nowadays not like in the past that there are several at least monthly .
patience is indeed what we need to do but looking for that High seems to be impossible to happen for now.
Indeed. The scene has change dramatically but for a better I guess? We are not in the ICOs eras anymore where lots of coins can pump up easily but at least investing now have gotten more safer. 5x is still a struggle nowadays but that's because we are still in a bearish market but once we get out of this, 5x, 10x or more is pretty possible.

I think 1000x and 100x is more possible by playing a gambling in a casino. Assuming that you are playing too often and you are specifically targeting these multipliers. The only downside of it is you can also waste more money but at least it's more fun to do it this way than just giving your money to the scammers and hoping for the impossible.

We might not be in the ICO era anymore but you know what era are we at?  We are in the defi era.  An era when it has become a lot easier for dev teams, entrprenuers and your everyday 'marketer' to make a project and lost them in for swapping in pools like Uniswap.

And more possible for 100x - 1000x by gambling in a casino?  Yes but no...  Check our criteria at OP.  And don't drop all your coins in it tho.  Cheesy  Looking for 1000x is all for the lulz after all.

If I would have to bet I would take some of the low market cap Aptos ecosystem projects.
(currently holding a bag) but only time will tell.

Now you're talking!  Do they have dog logos?  Grin
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: January 27, 2023, 10:19:14 PM
Dana White sold off his UFC ownership around mid 2022. He no longer owns a stake in the UFC. The same with Mark Wahlberg, Kobe Bryant and other celebrities who became fractional UFC owners. Endeavor bought out their shares to become sole UFC proprietor.

No longer being a fractional owner in the UFC, could mean Dana White is looking for a new business to become involved in. That could be the origins story behind Dana interest in Power Slap.

When MMA was a small time business, many athletes were paid $100 or $500 per fight. The UFC's TV deal with Fox sports was accompanied by a significant bump in pay. Followed by another bump in salary with the ESPN UFC TV deal.

Yup...  And a lot of people don't really get what's going on behind the scenes because while Dana White still holds the title as 'president' of the company, he isn't really the guy who makes the important decisions anymore.  The real boss behind the UFC is Hunter Campbell.  He's been doing all the important deals for the company, he talks to the commissions of every state and country, he also has a say in match making.  Dana these days is just a figure head, a face of the company.  And if he leaves today, the UFC would be running just as smoothly as the transition has already happened years ago.

Anyway, where can we find lines for power slapz?
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 27, 2023, 10:10:46 PM
Max bought a ferarri for himself lol. I mean it's okay of course, anyone can buy any car, there is nothing wrong with that. And we all know how awesome ferrari cars can become, specially when you do not have to listen to their pit Cheesy And since there is no "red bull" car that he can drive on the road, what was he suppose to do, he had to buy from a competition if he wanted a good car.

But, this is of course a great marketing for ferrari as well, even their opponents preferred them type of marketing would be great for them, and they can't officially do it, but just this fact known is good enough. Can't wait for the season to start, it will be awesome to see how teams changed.

As Vettel one time said, everyone in the end is a Ferrari fan.
How can a driver decline the beauty of Ferrari?

Guess what, even Hamilton has at least 1 Ferrari in his collection.

Alonso said something the same.  He said something that sounded like 'every F1 driver wants to drive for Ferrari.'.  And historically the Ferrari has always been the symbol of beauty and speed when it comes to cars.  No one could deny that.  It's prolly why a lot of F1 fans laugh and make a lot of funny memes when they see Ferrari makes a not so smart decisions during a race because it's so unlike them to make those kinds of mistakes.

I bet everyone one of those F1 drivers have a Ferrari or want one if they still don't have it.

^  Yeah I know.  He should have retired years ago Lol.  But I'm still rooting for Fedor.  I would just love to see him win one more time in the cage.  And winning then retiring with a belt on his waist would be really great for all his fans and the fans of MMA.

The lines you this match is 1.57 for Bader and 2.25 for Fedor.  I don't trust Bader at 1.57 but there's not much value for Fedor at 2.25 either.  :/  Still waiting for where the books place the over or the under.  I'm thinking around 2.5 even it's a 5 rounder which could go over.
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 27, 2023, 09:48:49 PM
What do you mean by how much weight he's lost?  I think the most weight he's lost is around 5 lbs.

https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/fighters/14023-derrick-lewis-the-black-beast

So I don't think it's gonna affect the powerrr in his hands too much.  It would be another story if he decided to lose around more than 10 lbs which would something he'll never do.  Lol.
There's been a few pictures floating around of him jogging along the road, and he looks considerably thinner. Now, I don't know how accurate these photos are. We won't know until the weigh I suppose. Obviously, he's not going to end up losing like 100lbs, since he'd be in a different weight class Tongue. However, I think it's more than 5 pounds judging on the recent photos.

I know you can't rely on that information before your bet, but if he is considerably lighter come the weigh ins I'll definitely be taking that into consideration. Although, he had power to spare to be fair, and it might even help him keep up with the volume much more than usual. Since, he's usually very relaxed, and doesn't throw much until he can get that one big punch.

Here's the thing tho, once a person start working out to lose fat but the adds muscle, he could still be around the 260 area and still stay in a weight that he's used to and can maintain the strength in his punches.

But you got a point, best to wait for weigh ins.

Just looked at the full card for the 4th of Feb. Honestly, I'm not all that hyped about this event. We've got some well matched fights, but really other than Spivak, and Derrick we don't really have any big names competing on the day. Feel like this might be one of those events that doesn't look great on paper because of the lack of names, but actually turns out to be one of the better more competitive nights.

I'm just excited to see Jon Jones back in action, so I'll forgive them for their lack of big names on this event. I'll probably give this a miss in terms of betting though. I'll still get some predictions out.

Yup me too.  Lol.  But as always, I just want to watch those guys throw leather and make some bets.  And a lot of those fighters are from Asia which should be good as there could be more stand up battles.

But there's also Bellator 290 tho which looks decent.

https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/95280-bellator-290-bader-vs-emelianenko-2

I also see it that way. There are no big names besides Lewis and Spivac, if it weren't for these two, fewer ticker buyers may go.

This could however be a good time for Dana to look for new talents from Asia. Few Asian talents have faded from UFC, the Korean Zombie retired already.

Watch this guy Tatsuro Taira.  He is pretty good.

~snip~
Leo Messi have accomplished everything he solely desire in football during his prime time so renewing his contract with the Parisians wouldn't be a difficult task, he's not tenderly competitive for any trophy but his ultimate target is the champions league which himself and his entire teammates are working together to lift this season. The GOAT going back to barça to do what actually, considering his age and hooking up with the high competition in laliga wouldn't be a good start for the Argentine international. PSG will talk about renewal of contract in the coming days and Leo Messi agent is responding positive to the talks and sooner, contract will enter key stages. He's probably one of the key players in the team and Christophe Galtier would be very happy if Messi stays.

Hot rumors are now again involving star players from PSG. Leonel's future with the French League giants, PSG, was a big question, especially since the megastar's contract was about to run out. Messi's contact will end in June 2023, while La Blaugrana is reportedly planning to take him home. there has been much speculation linking Messi with big clubs, even Premier League clubs.

Meanwhile, journalist Gerard Romeno reports a different matter stating that Messi will not stay at Paris-Saint-Germain. if the reports are true, there has been speculation as to whether Barcelona and Lionel Messi will get back together, as many football fans have questioned.
On the other hand, Marca journalist Marc Vila reports that Messi will not return to Camp Nou.
To be honest, I'm not sure about the current rumors around Messi. so, let's just wait and see what Messi will do for his future.

But will Barca really break the wage bill while trying to have it below the FFP rules at the same time.  Is that really what Xavi wants?  I doubt it.  And all these Messi rumors stemmed from his and Neymar having some problems with their other team mates at PSG.

With Xavi still in the process of rebuilding the club, I don't think he'll do it even if all the bones in his body says do it.  He has to be smart about it.

Anyway, what are the biggest and smartest acquisitions in the winter transfer window this time around?

Since there's not gonna be a UFC event this weekend and the one for the week after isn't really that good.  So it's good that we have a decent event from the B leagues.

https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/95280-bellator-290-bader-vs-emelianenko-2

It's Bellator 290 folks and main event is gonna be Bader vs Fedor for all the marbles...  Co main event will be Elben vs Tokov.  I can't really say I know who these guys really are except that I'm very excited to see Eblen back in the cage after he won vs Mousasi.

And who isn't excited to watch Fedor.  It's a must watch.  Wink

I'll probably go with Lewis just because it's hard to bet against him, however it depends on how much weight he's lost, and if that's going to impact him negatively or positively in the cage.

What do you mean by how much weight he's lost?  I think the most weight he's lost is around 5 lbs.

Finally it's time to test their withdrawal method, in this review it's .0003 in BTC.  And I'm so sad to say that I didn't have the best experience as the withdrawal I made is still pending as of this writing.  The first withdrawal attempt, I missed confirming my BTC address because I didn't see the pop up saying to check my email.  I went to customer support and they told me what went wrong so I attempted a second time, confirmed the withrawal in my email and it's still pending.  As a gambling site in crypto, I think withdrawing for a small amount should go thru in less than a few hours at a time.  Rating 2.5/5

Coinslotty Live Casino:  My Honest Experience

The first thing I did before signing up was going to Coinslotty's customer support and pretended to be totally new in crypto.  I just asked a few basic questions just to know how familiar support is in cryptocurrencies and found the replies satisfying enough for what a person 'new to crypto' needed to know and understand before making their first deposit.  (And later in the review, I had a problem with my withdrawal, in which customer support was patient and very helpful)  Rating:  5/5

So on I went to actually signing up.  I found the experience easy and smooth as all it needed was your email and have it verified.  Rating:  5/5

Next, make the deposit!  As all cryptocurrency users would know, this is where the advantage of crypto comes in.  It makes the act of making our deposits really fast and easy.  So no problems here.  I made my deposit and I waited for one confirmation.  Rating:  5/5

Ok...  So far so good.  Time to check out the site!

I went around the lobby and found that the design is minimalist and somewhat the same as most other crypto casinos.  But all in all it's fine, sleek and everything is where it's supposed to be.  The games are also easy to find and the site easy to navigate.  Rating:  4/5

Time to play some live casino games!  So I went around to play different games, from roulette to monopoly to baccarat to black jack from different providers, but I was really looking for a game that I could play long enough without getting bored easy.  I found casino holdem from Ezugi to be this game, tho I also tried Evolution's holdem games.  Overall my live casino experience was really good!  The broadcast is high quality and in HD.  Rating:  5/5

The next thing I did was to try the site in mobile and this is where I finally got why Coinslotty chose the site to be minimalist.  It's better in mobile!  I found playing in the site a lot more fun and the lobby just looks perfect.  It's clean and everything is so smooth.  Rating:  5/5

Anyway, the site is new and there will be some little kinks in there that will need some fixing.  And here's where my review ends.  Overall, I had a good, enjoyable experience.

My suggestions for the site:  Add 2FA as a security measure and make the wallet easier to find.  It could be a good idea to put it where the deposit button is.  Thanks.

With Rodrigues, same here.  He's my pie shtter of the night.  Lol.  I was so confident that he'll win ashe has more experience in the UFC and showed what it looked like he overcame the chin issues...  Just to be reminded that it's still there.  But in his defense it really hit him harrrd.  Lol.
Yeah, and it wasn't even the best technique of a punch. It was kind of sloppy, but it worked. It did land hard, but Robocop should've seen that coming, I mean it wasn't the fastest, and like I said rather sloppy. However, he's getting on himself now, so he's looking very sloppy too. Still, thought he was winning the fight up until then, and landed some pretty nice shots himself. He just doesn't seem to have that chin that he used to have. I'm wondering if he'll be hanging up the gloves soon too.

I wouldn't call it sloppy but it wasn't really thrown with close to 100% of the guy's strength.  We just got reminded of how chinny Rodrigues really is and that we should never ever forget.  Cheesy  And for sure he was winning.  He was on his way to winning it in a dominant fashion if he could keep up the pace for the next rounds.

Anyway, this sucks...  I thought the next event was gonna be this weekend.  :/  But yeah, I think Lewis wins.  I know Spivak has been looking good lately with a couple of back to back finishes vs Sakai and Hardy but I still think Lewis is a big test.
