1761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One Altcoin to invest on: February 28, 2020, 01:18:07 AM
My suggestion will be don't invest all in just 1 altcoin it is not a really good idea. Do your own research and try to find out the project which has use-case and actively developing. Coin with a low-market cap is the best to get huge returns in a short period of time, not all the low-caps are good but you can find out some of the best by looking into their roadmap and dev team.

Agree! Should do his own research and assessment. Do not trust someone else's opinion because most of them have vested interest on what they are suggesting. And yes, should diversify your portfolio, even if your money is not that much, you can still distribute it to lessen the risk of losing all your money.
1762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] - Tap.Global Bounty campaign - XTP already listed on Bittrex. on: February 27, 2020, 02:22:01 AM
Don't sell your identity for a 3$ bounty. Although this is not a bounty anymore but rather ID buying  Roll Eyes

There are still users who will give their identity just for few bucks. But if they will evaluate how much they can really get from this is almost nothing. Consider the tx fees and other fees involved. I hope people should do their math and consider the risk of sending their docs for nothing.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: February 25, 2020, 10:02:23 PM
I do not track or list my activities on gambling.  It is quite tiring if I have to list my winnings and keep a record on it on excel.  I am kinda lazy when it comes to recording stuff, and besides, I always convert my cryptocurrency winnings to fiat cash or invest it to another altcoin in hoping to get profit from that trades.

Aside from that our country has not yet finalized its regulation about taxing cryptocurrency so I think all the winnings during the time when taxation on cryptocurrency is not yet implemented is exempted from taxes.

Same here, we don't have any tax law yet regarding crypto gambling. And since I am playing in online websites anonymously, how can they track my winnings in case we have regulations here. Remember, most of the online casinos here don't require KYC especially if you are a low roller so tracking your winnings would be too tough. And on a personal note, I don't track my winnings or losses, it will be another headache for me.
1764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ERC-20][COIN] - Falcon Project - Swap Blockchain System on: February 23, 2020, 11:40:15 PM
Where can you use the falcon vouchers? Can it be redeemed from the merchants or shops, if you have collaborations with them? Are you planning to have this kind of business dealings? Is it the same with Falcon collectibles? Where can you use them? Or they are just mere collectibles?
1765  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] Elitium - Creating Luxury Lifestyles on: February 23, 2020, 10:38:39 PM

Since you are in the luxury industry, are you going to run bounty programs later on so people will start to notice your project? I have seen several luxury-related blockchain projects here but unfortunately very hard to attain success in this chosen field because your clients are very limited.

Hello tippytoes, we have a background in the superyatch industry, great network & customized solutions for investors/luxury brands.

But I am asking if you are going to run bounty programs for this project. Okay, I understand you have background in this specific industry, but actual implementation is another thing. I hope you will optimize the use of your connections to actually realize this project. Good luck!

Seems that the blender team is not so active in this community. Are they still doing good in this kind of business? Curious how bitcoin mixers are doing these days though...
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: February 06, 2020, 08:35:25 PM
How can we be sure that every coin is backed by Gold. Will be grateful if you can provide the answers.

Each gold token is equal to one gram of gold.
Now the circulation supply is 9200 tokens. The circulation supply can be verified via Ethereum explorer. (Visit the link below).
https://etherscan.io/token/0x0d16450d347c12c086d6c94c76c5aaac35ea07e0

As the explorer shows, no more tokens have been created.

Also, you can use the link below to verify number of 100 gram gold cast bars owned by Digital Gold.
https://www.bullionstar.com/myaccount/audit

The account number of digital gold is 17081.
Enter 17081 and click on search button.
You will see that digital gold own own 92 bars.
So there are 9200 gram physical golds that back 9200 gold tokens.

Actually, this is one of the gold-backed projects that seemed to be authentic and following the number of their gold assets. As you can see, they are not giving you large numbers as compared to other gold-related projects. And you can also verify their assets. Hopefully, they will stay that way, being transparent and honest with their gold holdings.
1769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcreds(BCRS) - CPU PoW/Masternodes on: February 04, 2020, 11:08:50 PM
How about your BNB listing? Still pushing thru? Hard to get in in that exchange but you might have more trading volume in case you can pull it off? But in the meantime, focus on your development so you have nice platform to boast of.
1770  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Review hunt on: February 04, 2020, 06:47:44 AM
They should have the option of bitcoin payment other than USD as you are also posting under bitcoin discussion. How much is their minimum withdrawal?
1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📣[ANN]DAVID CHAUM's XX Coin | Sale is now live ! [Purchase Now]🚀 on: February 02, 2020, 10:52:30 PM
it's not a big target considering david chaum has managed a digicash project and seems to be quite successful (i didn't follow it) i think targets like this are only small for them, and i'm sure this project will reach hardcap i'm very sure of this.

David Chaum is a pioneer sure, but digicash wasn't successful, it was one of the failed ones in digital cash solutions before the Bitcoin took over. It was failed because of the centralization, and that problem was fixed with a bitcoin.

Trying the second time around. At least they know already the reasons why they failed the first time. And since crypto community has changed a lot since then, I guess they already know the possible bottlenecks that they may encounter and should have all the contingencies in place to make this successful.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Spot a Shitcoin? on: February 01, 2020, 10:06:20 PM
The best way is finding out the "Red flags" for example:
  • The Code is open source?
  • The Code is "real" or is another copy/paste coin? Wink
  • Does the company behind the coin really exist?
  • Is the project plausibly achievable?

I believe one of the important things to check is the authenticity of the company? Because if they are not legally registered to any jurisdiction, they can disappear anytime they want along with the money they grab from naive investors. And also, your last item - project being achievable. There are countless projects presenting their novel ideas but it stops from there. They are basically selling the idea because they can't implement it in actual terms. Look for actual app or product with real active users. Because without its users, the platform will end up in trading only and so will have a short lifespan in crypto.
1773  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may hit 27K USD in the next 180 days! on: January 31, 2020, 10:00:06 PM
After I witnessed the last bull run, I would not underestimate any prediction like this as anything could happen and $27K is a realistic target.
Even i do not under estimate any prediction as i did not anticipate a rally like that when the market soared to almost $20k and this is the only realistic prediction i have seen till now as the rest of the prediction says that the market will soar to unimaginable heights which i am not expecting anytime soon but i will wait and see how long the market could rally before booking my profit Smiley.

More than $20k is a realistic target but I doubt it will be this year, maybe the next couple of years. However, it is only someone else's speculation so nothing serious about it. For those who will rely on this speculation, better prepare yourself for whatever the outcome is. Because the person giving such prediction doesn't care if you lose or win. It is your sole responsibility when it comes to your investments. So better be careful about your decisions when it comes to crypto. You should know better.
1774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CASH] A Global Reward Cryptocurrency | 100% PoW | 100% Community-Funded on: January 31, 2020, 01:21:43 AM

How about the merchants that have the potential to use your coin for payment method? Any progress on your potential collaboration? It would be great to see your coin accepted by shops. Maybe start within your location, like coffee shops or ice cream parlor???

There is engagement with a couple smaller businesses in a couple locations however nothing has been secured yet. More to come soon-ish Smiley

The team should seriously look into securing those partnerships even smaller businesses as it will grow later on, once they experienced the convenience and benefits of using crypto as their payment method. They will endorse your payment system once they are satisfied the results. These partnerships will help you sustain your presence in the trading market. Actual usage will keep your presence but if you are focused on listing to more exchanges, this will not help you in the long run.
1775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be bullish on BitcoinSV on: January 30, 2020, 02:15:42 AM
because it has reached the lowest support point then Bitcoin SV does the PUMP correctly, plus there is positive news from their CEO, yes of course PUMP happens but soon BSV will come back down to look for another support point

At the most, a cryptocurrency (excluding Bitcoin) can have 2 or 3 major pumps. Bitcoin SV already had two (the first one in June 2019, and the second one ongoing right now). Eventually that coin is going to die, because we all know that Craig Wright is not the real Satoshi Nakamoto. But the big question is how far the prices can rally, before the eventual death of BSV. That will depend upon the number of people who are willing to consider the possibility of Wright being the real Satoshi. As of now, the proportion will be somewhere around 1-2%. If this proportion increases, then the BSV exchange rates will also increase proportionately.

I think most of them are just riding the hype. It is not the case that they do believe that CW is the real Satoshi. Because if he is the real deal, he should have provided the necessary proofs a long time ago. Most of them are just spectators and short term traders. I don't think a lot of its followers has long term vision for this forked bitcoin.
1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Chain Clash - Battle of the Crypto Clans on: January 29, 2020, 11:59:59 PM
It seems like I will see a lot of crypto celebrities on your game, I want to buy Justin Sun and CZ Binance avatars. for me they are big figures in cryptocurrency.

At least you can buy them in this game?  Grin

We've got John McAfee as our next celebrity avatar! Head over to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8y8C-z3KOA check out his announcement trailer!

I don't think people are now liking McAfee but still there are individuals who will be interested to get his avatar. As there are many crypto games launched, you have a lot of marketing to do here. Be competitive and not just wait for your players to come here.
1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN][IEO] Coinoplex - hybrid hub for all your crypto needs within the ME 🔥 on: January 29, 2020, 11:11:48 PM
If you are servicing crypto users in the ME region, does it mean that you are fully compliant with their laws? Are you a licensed crypto exchange in the ME? Do you have physical office in that area? And about your membership tier, are all levels need to pay CPLX? Do you have free membership program?
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO declared dead, but don’t be too quick to bury it on: January 29, 2020, 10:09:27 PM
Lemme stick to your subject, ieo basically and technically cannot lure investors in, theres a need for prominent and real achievable projects to show up or hide their face.

Imagine an ieo wishing to raise $20m for a project $2k will fix??

Be sure not to rush to any Crowdfunding

This is the reason why investors realized quick that IEOs are no better than ICOs. They may have sure exchange after the crowdsourcing but it doesn't prevent the fact that declining its value is always imminent to their token. If there is no strong hold or foundation about its existence and the supposedly app or product is just a front to attract buyers but in reality they have nothing to offer, then, they are the same as ICOs that are created for money grab. Reputable exchanges should really be tight in accepting those projects and not be lured by the money they will give it to them. For once, they should think of the welfare of their traders and buyers..
1779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running an online Bitcoin gambling website on: January 29, 2020, 09:20:05 PM
There are countries that will host a gambling site even if they do not have a license provided that you have an office over the server are on that region, I am not very familiar about setting up a gambling site but it only pays to get a lawyer, a lawyer can give you a sound advice and it will take care and explain all the problems that will come and how you can deal with it.
Yes, a legal advice is needed in this case, every country has their own law regarding gambling, even local lottery has their own rules and regulations needed to obey, if you want to have a gambling website online, better to prepare your files first, hire a programmer that will maintains the security of the website to avoid any problems , and to  prevent hackers , in that way you can run online gambling without any issues.
Established an online gambling platform has never been an easy task. For sure, you could purchase the gambling website script from various sources for few bucks and develop it into your own platform but it would not complete your work. You need to have proper security, fair games, decent number of gamblers on the platform and much more.

If you have any plans to launch the gambling platform than your mainstream income would be from the gamblers and imagine if there is no one ready to gamble on your platform than what would be the use of creating this gambling platform? So prior thing to do would be to attract few gamblers and convince them to use your platform by placing few attractive offers for them. Huge capital would be needed to make this into a profitable running gambling platform.

And that translates to the fact that he needs a good amount of bank roll because if the players become aware that there is small or no bank roll in place, they will get out as soon as they can. That is because, the chance of not paying the winnings is very high.

Seeking professional advice for this matter should really be your first priority so that you would be aware on what are the currents laws so that you will avoid or proceed on what it would be.

When everything is cleared out and confirmed that you can make and operate on your own. Then, development is in next line and of course you should really be concern or in your top priority
when it comes to security.

Lots of gambling sites nowadays doesnt have a license but do freely operating.

But yes, before anything else, if he is serious about putting up a legal operating casino, he should see a lawyer that knows about the laws in his country. It would really take so much effort and resources to build one. The substandard casinos without license will not gain players in the long run. So why not start it in legal and right way?
1780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BSV] [Bitcoin SV] Satoshi Vision - Unmoderated Thread on: January 29, 2020, 06:45:20 AM
BSV now continuously outperforming BTC on daily transactions.

https://sv.coin.dance/blocks

What does it matter when its transactions are tiny?

BSV avg transaction value: $717
BTC avg transaction value: $47,226

BSV sent from addresses: 19,468
BTC sent from addresses: 259,122

https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/sentbyaddress-btc-bsv.html

With the rapid increase in BSV applications increasing micropayments, BSV is sure to continue on this path fooling the intellectual stifled with its manipulations and fraudulent shenanigans.

It’s only a matter of time before the miners switch over.

You've been saying that for a year now, yet the BSV hash rate remains a tiny sliver of that of BTC's.

https://coin.dance/blocks/proofofwork

Perhaps you should save your low IQ trolling for the moderated thread. I won't bother to correct your misinformation over there.

Sometimes I don't know where that user is coming from, claiming that BSV is outperforming BTC? Is he hallucinating or what? Ask any ordinary person if he knows BSV, and I think they will recognize it only because of the words- bitcoin/satoshi in its name. But as a stand alone altcoin? I don't think so. And usage? I don't think BSV is overpowering BTC at any level.
