1841  Economy / Reputation / Re: 5 Years, 5000 Merit and 7000 Posts. on: April 16, 2023, 08:54:00 AM
No need to delete your topic in my opinion. I agree to JollyGood here, that new topics about achievements should be eligible to create. If there's no obvious intention of aggressive Merit fishing because OP can't get Merit by normal posts (which is clearly not the case for mikeywith), new achievements topics should be eligible.  Smiley
You are right 1miau. Anyway, that dedicated thread was created not that long ago under the guise of reducing spam and/or reducing announcements that we remade in the hope of receiving merits but personally I would not bother posting in it if I wanted to announce anything and many others have continued to ignore it by posting their announcements in their own newly created threads.

The situation changes of-course if the forum admins create a dedicated thread for members to make their personal announcements. If they did then it is fine we all should post our milestones and rank-up and other announcements in that admin created dedicated thread but since that did not happen there is definitely no obligation for members to post in any thread that any member creates and states it is for this reason or it is for that reason.

Just to remind you that I never spoke of an obligation, I think it is not necessary to quote myself, you can see my post above
I did not quote you, there is a misunderstanding. I merely advised the OP there was no obligation to post in any dedicated thread (because it was not set up by admins as a rule) and that he was more than welcome to post about what he wanted. Sorry for the confusion.
1842  Economy / Reputation / Re: How secure are you when unknown user chats you up? on: April 15, 2023, 01:10:21 PM
I'm the type of guy who talks to them until they run out of words, then tells them to fck off and blocks them.
If you have some time on your hands it probably would have been a good way to spend a few hours chatting away until either you or the scammer (who is pretending to be a woman) gets bored  Grin

1843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: @RogerVer lets make a deal. At least 60k, my BTU for your BTC. on: April 15, 2023, 01:02:04 PM
I think you have it backwards: the deal was loaded's BCH for Ver's BTC. Interestingly, loaded sold all his BCH fork proceeds for BTC. As @Rampion hinted, loaded probably got spooked when he saw that Reddit was investigating the source of his funds.
Yes, sorry, I made an error when writing. The proposed deal was for the BCH the OP held to trade with the BTC that Ver held. Thank you for correcting me.

Loaded still never replied to me at all despite my contacting him numerous times.  That shows his intentions were dishonest from day one.
Well now we know this probably wasn't the case.
I remember posting in the thread a short while after the deal was proposed by the OP. Time really gone by fast.

So Ver OBVIOUSLY declined !!

Talk about Ver believing in Bitcoin Cash so much so that he cannot even get himself to sell ALL his Bitcoins now, or to have exchanged them when the fork was made.

Why make the fork and bad mouth Bitcoin so much when he cannot part with it?

 Grin

Wow so it seems Loaded made the thread and then got Ver interested but then when Ver came back to conclude the deal it was Loaded who pulled out and refused to answer Ver?

We don't know who backed out. Roger said that Loaded backed out, but Roger says a lot of things. He says that Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin for instance which is clearly not true.
1844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: @RogerVer lets make a deal. At least 60k, my BTU for your BTC. on: April 15, 2023, 12:27:32 PM
It would have been a highly complex exchange because who would escrow or ensure the coins were traded? I think it was something that would not have taken place even if both parties wanted because it would probably be impossible to arrange. It would have been the largest ever crypto escrow based on trust between the senders and escrow. For example, who would send first? Who would be trusted to work as escrow?

What would have happened to Ver if he had managed to swap his BCH for BTC the OP was asking to trade? At worst would it simply be a case of handing over the BTC to lawful enforcement agencies and then receive his BCH back or would it be something else? After all, if the exchange went ahead as far as Ver would have been concerned he was making a 1:1 BCH/BTC trade.

Bumping this thread now that loaded is set to be sentenced tomorrow (see: https://www.wsj.com/articles/bitcoin-blockchain-hacking-arrests-93a4cb29)

Roger was lucky Zhong didn't follow up (he probably got scared because of this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/6bcccp/loadeds_coins_trace_back_to/) - otherwise he would have ended up double rekt.

When you look at the feedback that has been accumulated by the 1xbit/1xbit1 scammers it makes you wonder why they continue to use this forum especially as their reputation has been torn to shreds:

One benefit for potential victims by finding this forum is that they have been warned. Others unfortunately find this forum to complain about the 1xbit/1xbit1 websites after they have had their funds seized.

1846  Economy / Reputation / Re: 5 Years, 5000 Merit and 7000 Posts. on: April 15, 2023, 12:06:14 PM
There is no obligation to post in any dedicated thread to announce anything. Nowadays when a thread of this sort appears someone will comment about posting in the dedicated threads but I see no real reason to oblige. Some have flooded in the hope of receiving merits (which clearly is not the case here).

We have not interacted much previously but I have seen some of your posts. I wish you success and prosperity in your next 5 years and beyond  Smiley

There is a thread dedicated  ".

Oh snap, I did not see that, I will try to delete this thread and post in the thread you linked. Thanks
1847  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [FLAG] Against CoinPayCard.net (u=3521103) on: April 15, 2023, 11:49:33 AM
Well, maybe search engines have still indexed it but it seems the website is no longer functioning: https://coinpaycard.net

I feel sorry for the victims. I do not know how much the scammer managed to get away with but as the website was only around for a short period of time hopefully the number of victims and their losses will be minimal.

Yeah well you see, Google goes to bed with governments. They don't care about what plebs like us have to report, as long as they won't get in legal trouble for not taking any action.

1849  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The Rock Trading Scam www.therocktrading.com Exchange Review fraud truffa on: April 15, 2023, 11:34:43 AM
there have been a few newspapers that have disclosed the news, but mostly they have been sites and provincial newspapers, I must say that even some excellent newspapers have talked about it such as "ilsole24ore" or even "il Corriere della Sera". but despite this he hasn't made all this media noise
It is good this news went to those publications you mentioned but it is strange it not receive more attention.

This sort of news should have been much larger and on mainstream media because losing €15-20 million in any business is news. It could be that because many people still do not understand crypto that it did not make big headlines.

I read the transcripts that Lillominato published and there are some really scandalous things, people were selling crypto to cover the holes and pay the EURO cashouts.
Crazy, really embarrassing management.
After the investigations are completed there could be criminal charges. The money lost has been a disaster and setback for investors. I feel sorry for them.
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 15, 2023, 11:29:09 AM
RESULTS:

Feyenoord 1-0 Roma
Bayer Leverkusen 1-1 Union Saint-Gilloise
Juventus 1-0 Sporting Lisbon
Manchester United 2-2 Sevilla

Which teams will qualify for the semi-finals? It is too difficult to tell because even Roma and Sporting Lisbon can win their home games by more than a goal and qualify. Sevilla have two away goals and that will help them when they play Manchester United in Spain.
1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: April 15, 2023, 11:22:12 AM
These are the games taking place today:

Aston Villa vs Newcastle United
Chelsea vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Everton vs Fulham
Southampton vs Crystal Palace
Tottenham Hotspur vs Bournemouth
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Brentford
Manchester City vs Leicester City

If Manchester City beat Leicester City they will be just 3 points behind leaders Arsenal and put pressure on them when they travel to West Ham tomorrow. Newcastle United can increase the pressure on Manchester United if they manage a win at Aston Villa and cement their 3rd place position in the table.

There is just one week left before the semi-final games take place. If you have not entered the competition yet there is still time to enter. Entries will close a short while before the first game kicks-off.

1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 on: April 15, 2023, 11:14:14 AM
RESULTS:

Tuesday 11th April 2023
Benfica 0-2 Inter Milan
Manchester City 3-0 Bayern Munich

Wednesday 12th April 2023
AC Milan 1-0 Napoli
Real Madrid 2-0 Chelsea

Chelsea need a miracle if they are to reach the semi-finals because Real Madrid must be favourites to win the tournament again. Elsewhere, Manchester City had a comfortable win over Bayern Munich and look set to reach another semi-final. Inter Milan look set to reach the semi-final and the all Italian champions league final is still a possibility.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: EFL Carabao Cup 2022/23 Season (English Football League) on: April 15, 2023, 11:02:49 AM
Throughout the season Manchester United have not been good enough to finish in the top two places in the Premier League because Arsenal and Manchester City deserve to be fighting for the top two positions but Newcastle United, Manchester United and Tottenham do deserve to be fighting for a top 4 finish and with that champions league qualification.

Ten Hag has done well by winning the Carabao Cup but they have to focus on the Europa League and FA Cup. If they win three trophies in his first season and finish 3rd in the Premier League that will be a success considering their fall from grace after Ferguson retired.

There is still a lot of room for development in that team and a lot of positions that needs to be filled by the right players, but from what Ten Hag has done so far, we can say that he might be the coach to return Manchester United to her glory days.

For those that are tempted for any reason to utilise the services that 1xbit and 1xbit1 provide, I would advise you to read the feedback and read through this thread. There is a real risk that you will end up getting scammed therefore for your own benefit you should not have any association with them.

Well you finally got your hands on the ledger, I am happy for you Smiley

All that remains is for you to use the ledger for a short while and then provide feedback on your experiences. I hope icopress will be equally happy when he manages to get hold of his items.

I take it the ledger was the item you were looking forward to receiving the most and as that has not arrived there is disappointment. As you tracked it to your country, hopefully it will be with you soon  Smiley
Yup, you are right Smiley But it was not a big disappointment, as I knew it was supposed to arrive in a few days and this happened meanwhile Smiley
1860  Other / Archival / Re: Sinbad.io Mixer - secure, fast and easy to use on: April 11, 2023, 02:12:45 PM
I saw that too and agree with your sentiments because it was highly unprofessional behaviour as far as any campaign manager is concerned.

If Sinbad allowed their name to be used with their consent in that way then it was not a good thing but either way using campaigns in such a manner for cheap publicity can cause a lot of issues such as a painful one unfortunately shared here by elevates in this thread

That Royse Idea to create the biggest April Fools Joke after Flappy bird Captcha it was very tempting tho  Cry. I hope it was real  Grin
I saw that and did not like it because I was surprised that why Sinbad would pay in a signature campaign without updating the site.

I do not know if @Royse777 had taken Sinbad's permission before doing that trick, but using private business as April Fools' campaign does not be a professional behavior, at least as a campaign manager.
