People who are addicted are hard to give advice because they do not think that advice is good, but with relatives or family that is the reason why gamblers should be close to them I am sure this problem will be overcome with enough time because it is not easy for addictions to Stop.

But they will play any means to bet and stay at home because that is the reason to avoid being advised by good people, so it must be controlled by it.

I explored these sites in more detail and found that in one organization, people are helping, who have overcome addiction themselves. Their advice will be especially valuable because they have been through it themselves.

It would also be useful to create a topic with links to similar organizations from all over the world, not just from Australia.

Also, those gambling addicts should not be forced to give an advice to undergo rehab as most of the time they will reject it. Let them realize on their own that they need to change, because they will just deny the help if it is served on a platter. It is always better for them to look on their own mistakes and decide for themselves if they are going to change for the betterment of themselves or not.

Any help will never be superfluous, especially if it is free. Perhaps the story of a former gaming addict can encourage people to start fighting their addiction. After all, it is always better to gain experience from other people's mistakes than from your own.

The list is good for the newbies who entered in gambling and those who are not addicted to gambling and can avoid the addiction if they read all the articles carefully. However those who are already addicted, they won't read or listen to anything or any advise and will only focus on playing gambling/ betting.
1862  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: May 16, 2020, 10:53:22 PM
Yes faucet is removed since long time ago for good. Faucet is no more beneficial for gambling sites due to abuse, that's why many gambling sites remove their faucet in the last few years.

In fact, I do not even use faucets anymore where I gamble now, even at the sites that offer them, including my own. I actually still do play AT a faucet site,,, but it is more like to just try for a lottery instead of trying to become rich from faucet, which will never happen anyway! Cheers, Stake!
Faucet is a bit different thing to everyone else. Purpose of faucet in the crypto casino world I think so that people would test it. Bitcoin and blockchain is not something you can reverse at all, so when you send your money to somewhere there is no way to get it back if that place is scam or not. Hence primedice started with faucet, and just-dice started with faucet as well, they both allowed people to check the website to assure them that they are legit.

Nowadays there is really no need, I mean who doesn't trust stake? Well, there could be some few people but stake do not need them neither. So in return of assuring people they were giving basically thousands to people who abused the faucet and it started to make no sense since they were trustworthy anyway.

Faucets are usually important in gambling sites which are new. Many people do not be willing to spend on new gambling sites and prefer to play and test new site with free money. Sites such as stake which are already trusted and many people play there , there is no need of faucets.

Don't think that faucets are helpful for new sites and not the old ones. Remember there are new users who register on the old sites too and if there is a faucet on the site, they can play it using faucet money.
Faucet abuse is another thing and it should be controlled in some other way, not by closing the faucet.

It's great ahahaha. Everything is full to the tits.  Poker, Dice sites, normal games as well.  People might get used to this.  I have no problems finding things to do online, gambling and non gambling.

Mine gambling life was not good within these lockdown days. I usually bet on cricket and other sports and since there are no sports and hence no betting.
I spent my time watching old matches on youtube and recalled my old memories but still there is a lot of free time in the lock down that i do not know where to spend it.
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 16, 2020, 10:13:59 PM
I know that some people will not watch matches and focus on other activities but people like me who are addicted to cricket, prefer to watch any cricket game and feel bored in times of no matches.
Hope you have heard about youtube  Tongue If you are really addicted to cricket you can watch many old matches and really great innings and the amount of videos that are available will keep you entertained for years. And once you finish watching those then you can register into hotstar as they have all the IPL matches and that too not even highlights, you can get the entire match.

I know that i could watch tons of matches on youtube but i want that other people also watch these matches and we have some discussions on it too here. With retrolive, everyone expressed their feelings on each match and therefore it was entertaining to watch the old matches too.
1865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 16, 2020, 03:13:56 PM
~snip~
No one responded to this means that people are not interested in Retrolive matches. Also this is the first weekend where retrolive does not repeat telecast any match, does this means that people are no longer interested in old matches and they want to view the new live matches only ?

At first people reacted out of respect to their old memories and due to lockdown implication -boredom- but after sometime everyone accepted that Retrolive_matches are boring, so no more telecast or viewership/clicks.

@JSRAW you’re absolutely correct because initially people were struggling to get used to their lockdown routine hence watching the old matches was kind of peaceful for them, but over a period of time they all finally settled in to their new routine and hence they stopped watching those matches as they diverted their time in other activities. Lastly as usual it came down to money, and once the broadcasters realised that they’re not making any money from showing the old matches, they decided to pull the plug and and I feel that their action is completely justified under the circumstances.

Absolutely correct it is too frustrating now to watch those retro matches. I want to see some actual cricket now but, with all those negative news about postponing future tournaments my frustrations is growing even more.

I understand that retrolive is boring when compare with live matches, but do we have live matches resumed ?
Since there are no live matches, we have no option but to watch these matches. I know that some people will not watch matches and focus on other activities but people like me who are addicted to cricket, prefer to watch any cricket game and feel bored in times of no matches.

Retrolive is showing another old live match between Australia and India. This match was originally played on 21 October 1996 in M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Anyone remember this match ?

1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Betting this June? on: May 16, 2020, 10:51:12 AM
Even if we follow some preventive measures to avoid spreading of the virus which is COVID-19, it's impossible.

It is not impossible, in fact we already have a successful boxing event help in Nicaragua, so I guess it's also possible with other venue.
I know US is a country that was affected with covid heavily, but they can also choose a location where they can secure the boxers and those who televised the fight, please remember that business will not die just because of covid, if we will wait, we have to wait until vaccine is release.

Yesterday, president Trump announced that vaccine will be available by the end of December this year. So there are two options either resume the boxing events next year or have them played in closed stadiums. Both solutions have some advantages and disadvantages and it all depends upon the authority how they go about it.

That seems to be a good news, so its safe to assume that they already found the cure for this virus, and I guess even if there's no vaccine yet, people will already be confident knowing that the vaccine will be out soon, I think it will take a year or so, but I would not complain if it will be release by December this year.

You should not believe such statements from the President. Sometimes they issue such statements so that the panic in the society is calm down. Even if this statement is true, don't you think they are taking way too long to develop the vaccine. If this virus continues till december, there will be lot of more deaths because of this and i don't see any future of sports and boxing.  Sad
1868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona virus exploited by some scammers on: May 16, 2020, 09:46:56 AM
We all know the changes that started in the world because of the Corona virus and its risks and because of the risk of its spread, the World Health Organization asked people to stay away from the use of paper currency for a period of time in order to reduce friction between people and reduce the spread of the virus, as it asked everyone to use cryptocurrencies for a period of time Also, there are many charitable and health organizations that requested donations through the Bitcoin currency
This is what made many fraudsters take advantage of this issue, as many fraudsters asked for donations from people in the name of health and charitable organizations. Where people donate to these organizations that are fake and the money is stolen by the fraudsters Unfortunately it is difficult to follow the addresses of these fraudsters so I hope that everyone will pay attention to this matter and not donate to any organization before verifying its authenticity and credibility
Then Welcome to Cryptocurrency mate because scamming is part of this society and if you did not become the target yet meaning you are not a proclaimed cryptonians lol.

Every issue either good or bad that will happen in crypto world will surely used by scammers to take as an advantage.
but if we know how to use proper areas in which to send or spend your crypto then tou will be safe from this bad people
.so better learn the right ways in coordinating if some ask you about donation.

How on earth anyone take advantage of the pandemic situation and make money out of it. The only solution to this is that before giving any donation or charity to any individual or organization, one need to carefully verify if they are legit or not.
1869  Economy / Services / Re: [Friend Service] I will be your friend for BTC on: May 14, 2020, 06:05:09 PM
I guess that you have forgot to mention your gender !?!

So to clarify: I am male, and this service is open for men or women. Its an offer of friendship and the kind of attention you would receive from a real friend - asking you about your day, what you are going to eat/cook, problems, achievements, encouragement - the whole kaboodle.

What it is not: this is not for any kink or fetish or of a sexual nature. It is exactly what it says - what a good platonic friendship would be with someone of the same or opposite gender.

Thanks!  Smiley

Don't you think that friendship is a relation which should not involve money and if you're friend of anyone just because of the money, then infact it is not a friendship. Its a job which you are doing and getting paid for keeping the other person busy/entertained.
1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 12, 2020, 08:31:12 PM
This is the time where we all get in front of our TV and watch the live IPL matches and enjoy the wickets, four, sixes etc. But now this time it has being a different only by watching the highlights of previous seasons and seeing some spectacular catches, magnificent sixes hits compilations and enjoying the game as other like one of the cricket fans. Will have to wait for the next annoucement of IPL status.

We have to bear all this as sometimes unexpected does happens. Do not hope for IPL to be played anytime soon. The death toll in India is increasing every day, as in most of other countries too and in these situations gaming / Sporting events are highly unlikely to happen.

Your on term and service - Termination and Suspension - discomfort to me, maybe you have to explain it.

Quote
- Deposit and withdraw without making bets;

Making deposit and withdraw it without making any bets is a suspicious activity. It can be suspected as an attempt of money laundering or using the website as mixing service. Your previous question "accidentally sent", if it true an accident or a mistake then it is user's responsibility. High likely, any sites wont accept the reason of "sent by accident". Once a user do it, he/she should follow the terms if he/she do not want to get a problem of his/her account.

Since they are not implementing the KYC, then this rule of wager 1x is quite good to stop using the gambling site for a mixer or money laundering service. Also there no way you can send any amount accidentally to a gambling site. This means that you first accidentally make an account on the site and then send the money  Cheesy

^^ If any State or politician pushing this shitty idea in this critical situation then i would like to see them sitting among the crowd along with the BCCI official.

Since the gate collection amounts for a smaller proportion when compared to the other franchise leagues, the BCCI may be aiming for conducting the matches behind closed doors (i.e without any crowd attendance). But then, who will guarantee for the health of the players, match officials, workers at the stadium.etc?

In one of my earlier posts, I had supported Australia going ahead with the preparations for the T20 World Cup. But that was just because the pandemic situation in Australia is under complete control. On average, they have 10-20 new cases per day, compared to 4,000-5,000 in India.

I mentioned this somewhere before too that even if Australia become 100% corona free country, it cannot held the T20 World cup because the other countries players will have to travel to Australia and it is possible some staff may be affected with covid-19. Another fact is that international travel is also very much restricted.

1874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small Investors are losing Bitcoin by Investing in Altcoins? on: May 10, 2020, 11:41:05 AM
Read this post and its true how small investor are losing bitcoin by investing in other coins.

You can buy 8000 tokens in 1 USD when price of bitcoin is 8000 USD but if bitcoin price will rise to 16000 USD then you can buy 16000 tokens in same price. Now all token price does not move according to BTC price,it will drop 20-30% without any sign of drop, but when you will compare with bitcoin you will find that you are in loss.

https://cryptomaa.com/btc/how-small-investors-are-losing-bitcoin-by-investing-in-altcoins/

This is not how it works. If bitcoin rises to 16000$ then the altcoin may even fall more and you can buy much more than double of that altcoin. When you buy an altcoin with bitcoin, you should note its satoshi value. The aim should be to sell that altcoins at a higher satoshi value.
1875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering More or Wagering Less on: May 10, 2020, 10:58:16 AM
Well, higher risk = higher reward so wagering more will have higher chances of winning compare to a gambler who is wagering less amount of money.
Obviously, but as gambler, I notice that not all people are wiling to risk big to win big, most of the people just willing to risk small to win big.
That alone makes them being unrealistic in their approach, they can also win but the chance will be very low.

Going to risk big amount of money in order to win big is risky because you will lose all that amount if you lose the game. A better approach is to risk small amount of money and play a game with a lower odds. The winning chances may be less, but if you're lucky you can win good amount without losing your money.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk PSL T20 Pool and discussion. on: May 10, 2020, 10:38:30 AM
I salute you all for keeping this discussion thread active in times when there is no PSL/IPL or any other international cricket tournament due to coronavirus pandemic.
For many peoples in Sub-Continent cricket is life and cricket is every thing so we all need to keep this spirit up hopefully in near future we will able to talk about live games again as now Korean soccer starts and Germany is ready for soccer from next week.

Cricket will also resume soon and we will see again the crowd filled thrilling matches in the stadiums. Slowly the games will be resumed with more precaution environment so that players and the spectators are safe from covid-19 while playing & watching the match.
Yes, cricket will resume but with empty stadium. I do not think they will allow gathering of spectators. The Korean football league has also started but with empty stadium. This is possibly the only option left now. Nobody knows when will the vaccine will be out. In the meantime they can resume all sports activities like this.

Lol it's India, and we are getting many 1000's of cases daily, you are dreaming about cricket, as early as possible may be in July or August we will have any Cricket.

Even Empty stadium matches will require 100's of logistics team to run any matches, and In India more than 50 person gathering not allow. 2nd thing, No outside Flight running now, so how International player will come?

In order to promote the cricket, i think there should be matches in local leagues in which only local country people play. There will no be international travel and therefore international cricket tournaments may not be possible for a long time.

If the T20 world cup will be moved next year how they are going to manage to schedule everything and what about the series that were scheduled, will they move those series or abandon everything and continue with the fixture.
Every match, series or any circus will be moved automatically. let's say cricketing world think that year 2020 never came in the first place.

----------

On a lighter note.... Read between the lines  Grin

I remember prior to start of 2020, even few years before everyone was aiming for the year 2020. I remember that Dubai was going to held the biggest expo in 2020 and many other countries planned well ahead of 2020 but all of these dreams of nations were ruined by Covid-19. It look like everything is in a pause or on hold in twenty twenty, including the twenty twenty matches.
1880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 09, 2020, 06:06:14 AM

Yeah, That's why i said at the very start "Genuine World Test Cup" need 1 year window without any international cricket. its another discussion if ICC/boards are okay with or not but that's a real reason World Test Championship is running for 2 years.

The first thing is that do we really need to conduct the test championship?  The way it is conducted now has no interest for anyone and the model which you presented is much better but consumes a lot of time which i think is not practical.
