1901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise to a friend on: April 21, 2023, 06:39:06 PM
Only his friend alone can be blamed for the misfortune and the result of his decision. I've got those types of friends before that they've asked me what is bitcoin, stuff about it, and if it's a good investment and I'd told them everything and with a yes. But then later, it seems that they don't believe me and went to invest in altcoins, they just revealed that to me when they lost almost all of their capital to a shitcoin because they thought that I was wrong and they better. Remember that these people are just new to the market, they think that they're better than with those experiences and that's why they gather info and decide to follow their own decisions and not the good advises.
This is the reason on why i dont like on recommending or advising something when it comes to things not only on Bitcoin but also on other stuffs as well as i dont like on getting blamed when things goes shit and wrong.
Just simply tell them about that they should invest on the amount that they could afford to lose and thats all, you should really be trying out to avoid on things because there are people who are really just that good
when they need something from you but if there's none and having no use then they would be starting on having that u-turn against you which do really sucks.
There are also people that don't take advice even if they're listening to us. The reason for that is because they think that know more and better than the person who's giving them advice about the market. No doubt that there are people that are only for the need and will approach the people they know for it. But then, we know that everything happens for a reason and when a friend is like that, fate is just trying to help us avoid these type of people.
1902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise to a friend on: April 20, 2023, 09:23:37 PM
Giving him knowledge about Bitcoin is also the same as directing him to a better place even though the final decision is in the hands of his friend. And since no one is held accountable when a friend loses on an investment, this is where every piece of good advice is needed before making a hasty decision. Because a wise enough decision will provide a few steps that might be better for people who are trying to invest in their life.

By the way, Team Secret has won against Old G, and guess what? Team Secret is back to division 1.
Good to see Team Secret rise back up to D1 and unfortunately for Old G they didn't have Resolution during that series since there were rumors that he'll be standing in for OG's DM in the upcoming Berlin major after a visa issue.
There are still three days remaining for Division 2 but Team Secret only has one remaining game and still, they're already secured to the top 1 which makes them secure a slot for Division 1. We'll see how they'll be performing in Division 1 with Armel. While many want Old G to go to Division 1, it's not just yet time for them to this DPC Div 2 tour. These three times are fighting for the second/last slot for their way to Division 1.

1904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: convert cardano (ADA) into Tether (USD T) on: April 20, 2023, 12:41:06 PM
Fixedfloat.com has that support for both coins that you're wanting to swap. So, ADA > USDT and there are three other networks that it supports for Tether.
  • USDT ERC20
  • USDT TRC20
  • USDT SOL
1905  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: April 20, 2023, 09:40:57 AM
Hi all, can you please tell me how things stand with betting in this office? Is it safe to make a deposit here?
Yes, Duelbits is one of the most reputable casino that you can ever bet and yes, your deposits are safe in here but make sure you read the TOS.

Do they not cancel bets?
I haven't read anyone complains about this matter of canceling bets.

How do I get verified? I.e. is it verification of identity and address or can I verify for a month or more and ask for different documents, photos?
If they ask you to verify then you have to verify it as some users have been required of complying to kyc and verifying their accounts but if you're not asked, you won't have to be. But please take time to read the details about it on this section: https://duelbits.com/aml

1906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gas station payment with bitcoin. on: April 19, 2023, 10:41:31 PM
Congratulations to your business.

I want to know bitcoin wallet that will be nice for receiving payment with bitcoin that will be safe for this business payment.
This depends on your plan, are you planning to convert them on an instant basis upon receiving those Bitcoin payments or do you just want to hold them until you can and wants directly to go with a hardware wallet or cold storage?

If you come across such customers, then I will recommend that you use Binance Pay, that is, if you have one to receive the payment.
There are also some services like https://btcpayserver.org/ and the ones offered by Bitpay. But yes, Binance is popular so Binance pay for centralized transactions.

Allegedly there is a new "322" video from Morf on Youtube and if you know what I'm talking about , you should watch both videos because they have subtitles in English and you will be amazed of what you will hear and see in those videos regarding betting in dota 2 and trows "322 and 644". Also , some big names are involved like Daxhak , entire team of Hydra , some players from Hellraisers , old Spirit , a current player from Secret team and a lot more.  Shocked
Interesting, this is a long video so I'll save this for later to watch after the current matches that are watchable now. I want to read some comments but they're all in Russian so I don't understand a thing or two with them. I have high respect for the pro-players in Dota 2 as they will never be in a competitive scene if they're not strong. But it's sad that 322 is still existing and 644? Just another level of throwing I guess since I haven't watched the video yet but just a few introductions of it. The video has got half a million views within just 2 days and I think this will reach Valve very soon.
Being not too familiar with the terms 322 and 644 in dota2 speak but from the sounds of it they are involved in possibly throwing matches for the sake of their own benefit.
So this is an ongoing investigation by the opposing teams to say this is the reason for these allegations?
If it was most recent then the main media for dota2 news hasn't have any exposure to these match fixing by these players yet.
Please keep us in the know of their progressions once valve is aware.
322 started with Solo's action, it was an action in that he was the player in that match and then bet on the other team's victory, the opponent. He was forgiven and then still in the competitive and professional scene while the rest that has been caught in this action has been banned by Valve and other big leagues. Based on the intro that I've watched, the YouTuber said it's just his opinion and not an accusation but still going to get dig into this video and will share my thoughts on it later.
By the way, Team Secret has won against Old G, and guess what? Team Secret is back to division 1. The interview with Puppey was amazing, players should learn from his perspective and just move on from his past action being the captain that has anger management as they say and he seems grown a lot and proven it based on his achievements.

1909  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 19, 2023, 07:21:07 PM
Owing depts is like being enslaved until you've paid off... And owing unnecessary loan can be very hard to pay off keeping you in an unhealthy financial state.
What I'm saying is never you borrow to invest ... It's unhealthy.
Credit cards are offering benefits and points and that's why people who own that like them. As long as you're a wise and disciplined spender, you'll not have any troubles with it. And I'm against with taking loans just to have an investment, it's a big no for me. You only invest with your own money and not with someone's money even if you're okay to pay with interest on it. Instead of taking a loan and paying its interest, just save a little by little and use that money as the capital you want to be so that you won't have any burden if your investment is unsuccessful.
1910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do bitcoins on exchanges come from ? on: April 18, 2023, 11:14:57 PM
It has become a thought that someone is holding a dirty coin, well, there's no way to know that it's become a dirty coin. What do you want? Take it directly freshly from the miners? They're ready to be sold if that's the case because I've seen people thinking of having the freshly mined bitcoins but that doesn't make sense. It's like just having the feeling of sensation that you've got it freshly mined than the one that has been in circulation since years ago, they're just both bitcoins no matter where it came from but it just so happens that these exchanges don't want them and are there really some ways of determining that based on their approach? I have no idea. Are they going to mind tracking all of the addresses where that "dirty" bitcoins came from if it's got like a thousand addresses being passed on? Bitcoin is bitcoin regardless of where it came from.
1911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 18, 2023, 09:22:51 PM
Team Liquid and GG are just destroying their opponents and I don't see anybody stopping them. Real simple to make money at this stage, play those two to win and all other games take over 2.5 maps. Worked for me just peachy so far today.

Now I am still waiting for TSM to take map 2 to casj on another one like this. Had them over 2.5 and GG -1.5 on that one. Now that I wrote this I already know OG is gonna clean sweep them  Grin
That's sweet!
Currently, OG and TSM are still playing for their last map, map 3. But if it's about map 2, you got it right that TSM took it. While these matches are happening, there are some interesting points with the Division 2 matches. On WEU, Team Secret still needs to secure at least a series maybe from IVY or even with Old G and I guess they'll be coming back to Division 1 next tour. While on EEU, too many new teams and names like NaVi Junior for which I'll review some of their matches. In China, no doubt that they've got that "Piggy Killer" team on top now and haven't lost yet since their players have been mostly came from division 1 and it seems an easy gateway for them.
1912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: April 18, 2023, 11:55:20 AM
IIRC, there's this situation that has been won by someone that came from a free lottery ticket.
But then the casino was too strict that they have to set some requirements for the winner because they just can't take their word by giving a winning ticket for free.
So, they've set some wagering requirement that has to be met but I can't remember the exact amount if my memory still serves right, that wasn't really much but the lesson here is that they can do that to anyone who will win from a free ticket.
1913  Economy / Economics / Re: Bans on crypto now looks like a joke on: April 18, 2023, 10:25:08 AM
Which country between these two would you rather see welcoming crypto and fully embracing Bitcoin? China? The United States?
US for me. They're just strict but they're welcoming crypto adoption, unlike China, despite all of those announcements, they're likely cracking down places there that have been involved in any crypto-related activities like mining plus the fact that their government type isn't really friendly at all.

I read an article that says that upon the ban of Cryptocurrencies in China over 30 million Chinese are using Crypto in the country.
And that's good because their banks are also controlled by them so citizens that are wise understand that they shouldn't allow the banks to hold their money which is controlled by the government of China.

At this point in Bitcoin and crypto life, Ban is no more an issue it seems, what do you think about this? It's like saying a country ban VPNs where as you can bypass any country's FireWall.
Well, we've been used to seeing this news, and even if they ban it. As you've said, there will be a lot of ways to hide it from the authorities.

Banning crypto is no more effective on crypto itself, it's now more like a pure joke, I would still like to see the U.S embrace crypto more than China, just my own answer to my question, what about you?
The same as you, they're strict and like more regulations but much better than the latter.
1914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting vs fantasy sports on: April 17, 2023, 01:11:40 PM
Both are skill based yet former is considered sheer gambling while later is not. Fantasy sports has become norm, while on the other hand if people come to know that you bet on sports you'll be met with eyebrow raise.

^ that's my opinion. What's yours? Do you consider both of them same or different?
The concept is the same but sports betting is real while fantasy sports are just virtual and computer-based type. I don't consider them to be the same as they're entirely different. What I am saying is the concept is the same you get to bet on certain sports but the actual players are different. But whichever makes you win the most, get to stay there and keep on winning until you ran out of luck. The most important part here is we get to enjoy and also win at the same time. Don't think of others' preferences but put the center of your attraction where you're enjoying and like the most.
1915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 17, 2023, 09:54:33 AM
Team Secret successfully took out Ancient Tribe 2-0 on the back of Armel's impressive performance, they only have two series left and one of the series is still against OG, if they win that in the final week then I think they're likely going back to Div 1.
These two matches left are going to be easy, hopefully, that I'm telling it positively as I want to see Team Secret with Armel in division 1. Well, I want to see Old G as well since division 2 got 2 qualifying slots for division 1. So these two teams are the most favorable teams to get in but Old G vs Team Secret is going to be a hard match. Whilst Team Secret and IVY looks like it's already been decided but I am sure that they're not going to belittle the team as their opponent and they need to be serious for every team that they're against with.
1916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Progression in price on: April 17, 2023, 03:05:02 AM
Adam Back said and i qoute him: in Q1 2023 bitcoin price increased from 31 dec 2022 - 31 mar 2023 by ~70% (~$16.6k->$28k). interesting to note if that rate continues bitcoin would be:  jun $48k,  sep $82k, dec $140k. or for $100k by 31st dec, price growth would need to fall from 70% to 53% for Q2,3,4.

I agreed with the price progression but it may not hit those percentage, what determinant factor do we hold on? that the big cities like U.S, China and Nigeria kicking against it can freely allow surviving of the price to hits such imaginable price of $100k by DEC.
Well, that's quite a good expectation but Bitcoin doesn't move like that for its pricing. Because volatility goes up and down and won't just have that movement so fast as per what you've put into sequence but anyway, I could also be wrong.

Least am expecting by DEC is probably 70k bull.
Hoping for that and that's one of the best price that it can reach for this year but I'll let everything happen and just observe until the halving comes. Because that's when the most exciting things comes, every time the halving is done.
1917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: April 16, 2023, 10:42:28 PM
Not all minor gambling platforms are necessarily risky or unreliable. Some may be new startups that are working hard to establish themselves in the market. Also, minor gambling platforms may offer unique games and promotions that are not available on larger platforms. They may also have a more niche focus, catering to specific regions or types of players. This can be a draw for players who are looking for something new and different.
Agree with all of what you've said, some are just startups that are still trying to get in if the project they've started as a casino will thrive eventually. Not all of them are that bad at all but then there have been some good ones that just lacks funding and aren't able to proceed because of that obstacle.

But, when it comes to gambling, it is always wise to play it safe - even if that means going with the boring but reliable option rather than the flashy, mysterious newcomer. At least that is what I think.
We're all done with those sketchy companies and we take note of what has happened in the past not just for us but also with other's experiences. That's why it's best to just stick to the reputable ones.
1918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can this be effective against the increasing numbers of gamblers? on: April 16, 2023, 06:39:39 PM
There is this exchange that I'm always seeing in the front t-shirt of fighters and if that will be removed from them, I don't think that the number of its users will decrease.
They're after the new customers that they're advertising in. So, if the logo is removed from these teams, I don't think that there will be lesser gamblers that will continue to gamble from these certain casinos.
Coming up with another way to get some great exposure from these sporting events might be patronized by these companies as soon as that rule has been applied.
1919  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: April 16, 2023, 05:38:16 PM
It depends on the circumstances that you're facing. If there is more urgent than the situation that you're in, then it shouldn't really be pursued anymore if you've changed ways already and accepted that there's another fate that you need to take the path of it. Although nothing stops a person from pursuing his dreams even if the situation isn't favorable anymore and there's no more hope in finding that passion and dream that you've built when you're younger. But the reality today is that the drive for that hunger to chase the dreams you've once thought of is changing and mostly gone.

People's mind set changes as they grow old.  They are more experienced and they know wether they had a chance to make those dream come true or not.  Having the wisdom in old age keeps them from wasting resources in achieving their previous dream that they deemed to know worthless in their present and future situation.  Most of the aged people feels that they had successfully done their responsibility and there is no use pursuing their dreams just to boost their ego.  Obviously, old people will still dream and pursue it if they are capable but due to their wisdom will not pursue dreams that is either a waste of resources or impossible due to their current condition.
That's true, it's just all about setting priorities and giving up their dreams doesn't mean that they gave up. It's just what they think is right to do and time is an issue and that's why it's better to do what's right and necessary than to chase what they are unlikely to chase.
This is the reason why we often some parents are telling that they're passing on their dreams to their children or old folks saying to their grandchildren that they might be the one to achieve their goals and dreams not noticing that they've already achieved goals and even dream of others as well.
1920  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: April 15, 2023, 10:10:01 PM
We must always be optimistic to pursue the dreams we have made, age should not be an excuse for making these dreams not happen, as long as we keep trying then these dreams will come true, many people are successful when they are old or are over 60 years old and as long as they are life then we never stop dreaming.
It depends on the circumstances that you're facing. If there is more urgent than the situation that you're in, then it shouldn't really be pursued anymore if you've changed ways already and accepted that there's another fate that you need to take the path of it.
