^  The worst of the worst news came in FTX's demise but it didn't even take ETH to break down 1k USD.  I think we could be at the bottom end of the bear market rn.  But don't take my word for it, I'm a idiot amd def the worst 'trader' here.  Lol.  Please do check your own chart and confirm your analysis with the analysis of good traders.  But I dunno...  Just a hunch, I think we're close at the bottom and it couldn't get any worse from here.

The chart looks like it's gonna do one more leg down tho.  But the FTX fiasco was supposed to do it but didn't.
1964  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for November on: November 15, 2022, 08:32:21 PM
^  This is not financial advice but I think now is one of the best times to start buying in coins like BTC and ETH again.  And maybe even BNB.  I'd personally start accumulating ETH as there's just a lot more to go to once you need to rotate once it becomes a full blown bull market.  It's just a preference and I think it's going to out pace BTC a tad more than it did from the last bull market.

And from those alpha coins, maybe start rotating to other alts at the lower end of the spectrum then really try to get out of the market in profit and hold everything in stables.  I seem get round tripped every time.  Lol.

Zhang Weili trained with the Hickman brothers in Thailand for the event.  Her team def knew they needed to be in another camp other than her original one or the one she trained at with her rematch vs Rose Namajunas at Fight Ready with Eddie Cha and Henry Cejudo.  Weili kinda had a more defensive style when she was at Fight Ready.  With the Hickman brothers, she has the wrestling chops but the aggression is still there.  I'd say she got way better with the Hickman brothers than with Henry Cejudo.

A couple of replays for Lewis and Spivak...  Enjoy.

The Hickman Brothers yes, I am searching for Zhang Weili's Trainor and they really did great with Weili now, and surely Rose Namajunas better watch out because this is a new Zhang Weili, and if you are playing Tekken and if we base the Fighters on the UFC with Tekken you can say Zhang Weili is a new and improve Jin Kazama, well not actually the style of Jin Kazama, but the Jin Kazama now has a new move style set than the usual style it was a new and improved Zhang Weili we are witnessing now, and just like Israel Adesanya additional ground game style is their new ace in their sleeves,

I had Zhang Weili winning the rematch vs Namajunas tbh.  They first fight sure, it was a KO kick to the head for the finish.  Buuut..  It was kind of a fluke.  First kick in the first few seconds of the match and it was a flash KO.  That ain't happening anytime again soon for sure.

And yes, this new version of Weili is going to be a hard one for Namajunas.  Not saying it's a sure win as Namajunas also has a good trainer and training camp with Trevor Wittman.

We got a rumor in the day about the sacking of Binotto but it seems it has been classified as FAKE news by Ferrari.

Ferrari will never totally sack Binotto.  He's the best technical guy they've had in years.  I don't think Ferrari can afford a set back at this point in the game as they're close in winning a championship...  Maybe within three seasons or so.  But what Ferrari can do is put Binotto back to his former role as the chief technical officer and remove him from any role that has something to do with race strategy...  I'm mostly a fan of RBR but I also root for Ferrari and other teams like Williams and would also appreciate to see them do something great again in F1.

Anyway since we're all watching the World Cup, can we talk about bets and other stuff about it here itt?  It's less spammy and quality of info is better.  And we been together for what...  5 years or so?  Time flies...  :/

I think it's a bit embarrassing that Verstappen, who is already the world champion, doesn't want to help Perez to become a safe vice world champion. I think he has already forgotten what Perez did for Verstappen last season, just think of the final where he kept Hamilton behind him for a long time.

Verstappen could have easily passed Perez, RedBull also wants the vice world championship title at all costs and for Verstappen it's all about nothing, because he had no chance of winning.

Yup...  Very embarassing.  But if you read into it, it looks like Perez did something really naughtly at Monaco this season.  Perez was caught to have admitted that he deliberately crashed at Monaco quali to cause a red flag, deprive Verstappen for a chance at pole and get the pole position himself.  In the radio at Brazil, Verstsppen was saying something like 'you know my reasons, we've talked about this' when he didn't follow team orders to let Perez pass.  There' something going on behind all this.  And I don't think Perez gets a new contract after his current one...

Yup, just heard about it too.  RIP Rumble.

On a lighter note...  What an event!  From top to bottom the matches were good.  There were prolly just two matches that were 'just ok' but the rest were entertaining as fk.  It was surely one of the best UFC PPV events of the year.

As for the next event, if you guys hated the event the other week which was decent for me, you guys will totally haaate the next one.  Cheesy

Yup! it was a stunning great event even the women's division Zhang Weili really outdid what she have achieved and this time with what Esparza was good at, she beat Esparza with a terrain that mostly Carla Esparza is familiar with, and that was the going to the ground that many people thought that Esparza will have the upper hand and with the Erin Blanchfield VS Molly McCann fight we can really see what Erin Blanchfield did there she was really the most dominant when it comes to grappling, well can I say it was a solid PPV,

Well I haven't hated that event but the next event might, but let's give a chance,

Sad and really unexpected.

I think everyone is familiar with Anthony "Rumble" Johnson. On punch knockout artist, but I have remembered him as fighter, who has competed in divisions starting from welterweight (that is from 71kg) to heavyweight (that is 94kg and above). Yesterday he has passed away from blood cancer... At the age of 38 only.

Yup, just heard about it too.  RIP Rumble.

Stunna...  There's this new thing called the Power Slap League by Dana White.  Cheesy  It could be a huge thing from a betting perspective as the 'sport' itself, if you could even call it a sport, is really entertaining.  And I'm pretty sure it'a going to catch on really fast as it's easy and fun to watch.

I think the league starts around early 2023.

I missed making my prediction with City vs Brentford.  Prolly not that it matters as the match is 1 - 1 and almost ending.  It's losing in these easy win matches that would cost them the trophy.  But we're still a long way off and we haven't even seen City and Arsenal play this season yet.

Anyway, nice to see Eddie Howe do well in Newcastle at third in the table with 27 points.  But I wonder if they'd still do well if Liverpool and Chelsea were their usual selves.

Edit:  Oof Brentford just got another goal in making 1 - 2 with them ahead in the Etihad!  Lmao.

Toney MOTM imo.

Now UFC 281 (I am so excited) here is my picks and predictions

Israel Adesanya VS Alex Pereira

The stake odds for this fight are 1.45 for Adesanya and 2.80 for Pereira, For me, Alex Pereira could be a threat to Izzy and many people believe it because of their past fight in kickboxing where Pereira knockout Adesanya, but for me, we can not base our prediction because of that kickboxing fight and this is MMA anything can happen in here it got different rules and I think Israel Adesanya is very accustomed to that which is it is not great to give an impression where Pereira will knock out Adesanya easily, Israel Adesanya has good striking, pretty much the good striking in this division, we can see that he can surely knock out his opponent in the past, but right now, he is collected and can control that urge now by winning the fight technically, so my pick is Israel Adesanya,

Carla Esparza VS Weili Zhang

The stake odds for this fight are 4.10 for Esparza and 1.29 for Weili, Even though Zhang Weili has lost to Rose Namajunas, 2 times now, It doesn't mean she would lose again in their 3rd match, right now I have seen the growth of Weili, from her 1st fight against Joanna Jędrzejczyk was a close match but that devastating punch of Weili deformed the faced of Joanna Jędrzejczyk, while on their 2nd clash Weili now has the arsenal of takedowns, that losses the momentum of Joanna Jędrzejczyk, and with this fight the new Zhang Weili against Esparza I will surely go with Weili,

Dustin Poirier VS Michael Chandler

The stake odds for this fight are 1.48 for Poirier, and 2.90 for Chandler, For me even though both of these fighters have grappled or wrestled, they haven't seen using it more often they tend to their striking prowess or box a lot, but for me, Dustin Poirier has a decent striking than chandler and quite has the technical advantage than Chandler as well, for me, I would go with Dustin Poirier,

Erin Blanchfield VS Molly McCann

The stake odds for this fight are 1.24 for Blanchfield while 4.60 for McCann, the fighting kitten Erin Blanchfield, well for both of these fighters even though Molly McCann who is a friend of Paddy the Baddy, doesn't have any submission wins yet, while Erin Blanchfield has, and has the decent ground game, but Molly can sometimes surprise us, and pretty much she has the power to knock out her opponent for sure, but I am siding with the more well-rounded fighter, which is Erin Blanchfield,

Yup agree with all of those picks and they wouldn't be that bad to parlay together for a small bet and make it a more interesting event.  Wink  But I say it 'wouldn't be that bad' rather than 'really good' as I feel like there's gonna be a pie shitter out of those 4.  It could either be Adesanya or Poirier.  As for the girls, they're close to locks imho.  Esp Weili..  I don't think Esparza will see R5.  This ain't gonna be like Namajunas.

1974  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto exchange wars going on... FTX vs Binance on: November 11, 2022, 03:07:52 PM
Now there is some agreement with Justin Sun to swap the TRX,BTT,HT tokens. And FTX confirmed this, however...

You are taking a 80% loss because the price to buy TRX on FTX is $0.30 and its value on another exchanges is $0.05. Its peak was like $0.15. So you either risk the rest of your funds and wait or take a 80% loss now.

Rediculous

Like I said yesterday, when they came up with this idea, I have to say SBF and Justin Sun are worse than what Dokwon did. They are forcing investors to accept losses and disclaim all responsibility once investors withdraw all assets from FTX.

Currently, according to some sources, FTX users in the US and Bahamas can still withdraw money because FTX has registered business in these two countries. FTX Global has no further information yet, the possibility of getting back the investor's money is almost zero.

^  I think that's illegal, it's almost like fraud.  And if they're really going for it they should at least get some advice from a lawyer.

And I'm just dropping by to ask for those people who experienced Mt Gox, which event has had the bigger impact for you, Mt Gox's insolvency or FTX?  I feel like after seeing a lot happen in crypto my reaction was like 'haha another one'.  But with Mt Gox it felt like it was going to be the end of BTC, the market and the whole space.  But I was noob then.

^  Lmaooo.  Now that's a clever guy..  Waited for everything that can happen to happen before making his vote.  Cheesy

And yeah, if you really don't need the funds for irl stuff, you could def just wait it out until things start going around again.

Anyway, checking the market out after at US session open and it looks like there are some whales who are trying to sell BTC down so they could run the stops and induce a drop.  From there, they pick up the pieces and pump it...  Same old same old, I guess.  Lol.

As for the race itself, the track will probably benefit RedBull or Ferrari again, while Mercedes will be a little weaker.

It's just a matter of who gets to post Verstappen, Verstappen, Verstappen first and wins the free bets.  Lol.  Maybe somebody could suggest that next season it would prolly be a good idea to include who got first in FP1, FP2 and FP3?  It would make the game more interesting.

Anyway, I guess the F1 fans itt have already lost interest?  I have too after Verstappen became the champ.  And there's not really interesting spots in F1 to put money on...  Especially lately as the rest of the teams have lost their motivation.  And there's no use to push it.
1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 11, 2022, 02:29:24 PM
I kinda like how Adesanya handled himself for this press conference.  He was just being himself, without the cringe and without all the big talk.  He was just authentic and real overall.  I hope to see more of it.  The big talk is getting old.  I mean it was good when he was new to the UFC and rising through the ranks.  But now?  Nope.
It's interesting to see. I guess I'll wait until his walk out before I confidently back this; however, it might just be that his previous opponents he didn't think they stood much of a chance, which he proved on the night. However, Alex has knocked him out twice before, so it's a different kettle of fish so to speak. Might be taking it a little more serious, and therefore we might actually see the best of Izzy.

I just want it to be a good fight, I don't want any flash knock outs, I want to see Izzy pressed, and under pressure, and as long as it's a good fight I won't be too upset of any result. Naturally, I'm routing for Izzy, but I must admit I've quite liked what I've seen from Alex before inside, and outside the octagon.

Yeah it's easy to get hyped witn Alex Pereira as he KO'd Adesanya in kick boxing with the bigger gloves.  So that speaks a lot for his powerrr.  With these smaller gloves, it won't take a whole lot for him to knock somebody out.  Watch him vs Sean Strickland.  All it took was mostly arm strength without a whole lot of wind up.

Buuut then it's Adesanya.  He'll play his own game and we'd end up saying:  What did everybody expect?  Of course it's gonna be Adesanya via unanimous decision...

Hi guys...

I would sincerely like to get your inputs/predictions on this upcoming UFC fights...
I am sincere sorry if some of this fights have been predicted here already, it is kinda hard and time consuming going through the chat to find the relevant information i need, so please guys, a fresh and straight to the point prediction i believe wont hurt the thread and will go a long way in helping me make a decision.

1. Ulberg, Carlos vs Negumereanu, Nicolae -- [your winner]
2. Trizano, Michael vs Choi, Seungwoo        -- [your winner]
3. Frevola, Matt vs Azaitar, Ottman            -- [your winner]
4. Petroski, Andre vs Turman, Wellington    -- [your winner]
5. Reyes, Dominick vs Spann, Ryan            -- [your winner]
6. Riddell, Brad vs Moicano, Renato            -- [your winner]
7. Hooker, Daniel vs Puelles, Claudio          -- [your winner]
8. Edgar, Frankie vs Gutierrez, Chris          --  [your winner]

it is not obviously , because we have witnessed another Bad market these days as there is a huge dumping since yesterday, while bitcoin falls high 20% ethereum is now dumping at almost 30% .

sad to see this happening because i thought the momentum is really High , and the Bull will enter any time soon but with this?

sorry but we are looking at more bearish as December comes.

I think the reason why everything dumped is due to mostly panic and because of a set of avoidable circumstsnces.  And with the panic just being 'a panic', it looks like the market kinda realized that it has nothing to fear anymore.  Just a day after yesterday's entertainment, the market has bounced really hard from a low of 1100 to where it is now at 1300...  That's around a 20% run up.  That's huge and could be a sign that the bottom is def in...  Dunno, we'll see in a month or two but I stand by what I said.  If ETH holds 1k then the bulls still have it.

^  Nothing a couple of summer transfer windows couldn't fix.  And some of those players, prolly most of them, have been playing for Chelsea for how many seasons now?  More than three seasons?  That squad needs a new look imho.  But the problem could be are the new owners willing to do something like the mad Russian did and give the manager a 'blank check'?  Another thing they could do is copy Arteta and Arsenal.  It took three seasons to get better and to get where they are today.  The Chelsea brass would just have to trust their manager.
