Actually my target audience in the office would be system administers and programmers. I don't understand why anyone outside of those people would be looking at my service.

There are a lot of programmers,  i dont know the exact numbers, more than 8 million. If you can widen your audience, it can mean more money for you.
Example: a financial manager decides to use your API. Buys 120 licenses for all developers around the globe.
Paid model is not the only model, it depends; I know of 3-4 models.

How much web-traffic of programmers are you getting? do you need more?

ill take a nap;

yes, some visual drawing or photo, in which a non-technical person would understand what your service is for.   bitcoin.org is a good example.
They have a youtube video and some short explanation.

Inside an office money usually comes from a financial section to which the word 'api' is magic speak. Of course hackers like us understand it.
Your target audience is bussines, i assume?

As to why you would use it, it is managed, scalable, secure api. It is meant to make it easy to get data from the bitcoin network without hosting your own bitcoind, or having requirements. You run this from any server or application.

You want these words on your website in bold: managed, scalable, secure

Verry funny .. and what will you do with all your coins that you can't turn them into fiat ? Because of the banks that don't allow you to make a transaction to your account ?

Buy stuff  online. Many online services and shops.. you dont need to exchange to fiat.

Thank you, I know but I am right now focusing on the backend, it isn't as stable. Once that is really stable and we are out of beta I will focus on frontend a bit more.

I think explanation would be good in form of an image. Something that a 3 year old would understand;
Examples of API usage would be good.. in what prog. lang i can use it? why would i use it?

Once your information goes online its very hard for it not to be abused by companies, criminals and governments.
 Strong encryption can make the line secure for some years;

This just proves my point. You love Google / MS so much that you can't see they too, sell your data. Your also blind to the fact that there are backdoors in the Galaxy series and the Nexus One.
No wonder there are no "bad news" articles about Google/MS. If there were, the poster would be called a fucking idiot.

Yes, these companies all sell your data behind your back. Apple, Microsoft, Google, Facebook and many others.
You can live a perfect life without them.

People are no living for the job. You only work to earn money. If you can get money without job - quit your job. Life is too short to be unhappy over things like that.
