But I often feel like I telling so many people around me about Bitcoin and how they really should buy just a little or at least read about it and look into and and almost everyone ignores me.

You should tell in a different way. You cannot say people 'do this' and expect them to do it, human psychology does not work that way  Smiley

I do not think faucet pays a lot, they can still offer services such as website coding to earn some income at the service section.

Agreed, faucets dont pay a lot.

It's the same in the US military.  While no documented study has been done, I'm going with the assumption that gangmembers and Neo-Nazi make for better soldiers than teenagers looking for tuition telief / uneducated youth who went with the military because it pays more than a McJoB.

Neo-Nazi are quite spread across the globe, US included. You can even find Neo-Nazis in Africa  Smiley

1527  Other / Politics & Society / Re: U.N. TORTURE REPORT ON VATICAN DUE FRIDAY on: May 24, 2014, 04:09:55 PM
once the Catholic church gets rid of all homosexual priests they will no longer have an 'abuse' problem. That's their problem, except by now they probably have more than enough homosexual bishops and cardinals to protect the ones who are preying on altar boys.

I think it is going in the other way now. The Catholic church is showing more and more leniency towards the homosexual clergy, in the name of tolerance and political correctness.

They will do adopt to any political policy, as long as it keeps their organisation alive.

I learned this from a book. It's a good read - How to win friends and influence people.

This book should be named "How to manipulate people for your own needs"

bitcoins can be stolen if someone has infected your pc, or someone breaks into your house and takes your pc with him/her.

Earning BTC by posting. That is interesting. Smiley
Posts also equal advertising. It's not just posting.

Exactly, advertising can give you nice amounts of BTC depending on how much you post  Smiley

The atomic explosions organized by North Korea were more or less a fiasco. It seems they used plutonium bombs and couldn't do a proper implosion necessary to make the bomb explode with all its power.

They have quite a lot of weapons, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Korea_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction
but much much less than, say, the United States. I doubt the U.S. will start a war in North Korea. In the past they had conquered the entire peninsula, but China got involved and finally they got where they are today. If China would get involved again it would mean a disaster for the U.S.

yes, there is an app for this forum, I have read about it in the 'project development' forum but forgot the link. That one was not published on the android market, but there are some bitcointalk apps on the play store.
1537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Multibit Wallet do this? on: May 24, 2014, 12:27:53 PM

My first question is:  Is it possible, to remove 1 or even 2 of the Wallet folders that you see on the left side without deleting them?  (meaning, can I create a brand new Multibit Wallet, and transfer the folders for Wallet #2 and #3 below to the brand new Multibit Wallet?)

yes this is possible, but be sure to make a backup beforehand to not lose any money. Multibit has a 'close wallet' option which removes the wallets from Multibit but not from your harddrive. I dont think the version number is an issue, but I cannot confirm.

Quote
My 2nd question is:  Is it possible to delete some of the "rows" that you see inside my wallet below, or is that functionality not possible inside Multibit?  ( Meaning, is it possible to delete 1 or more of the "payment received" rows that you see below?

Im not sure about this
1538  Other / Off-topic / Re: Spiders live or die? on: May 24, 2014, 12:25:27 PM
As much as people say they do not harm, they can get very annoying. I used to have a spider in the toilet, you keep having the feeling this guy is always watching.
Put sulfuric acid/gas in your house, they do not like this kind of stuff and will leave the house, gasses is probably the most friendly way.

1539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An example of how NOT to trade on: May 24, 2014, 12:07:18 PM

It will be easier if you don't check the price every day.
Instead only check the price once a month if you really consider this as a long term investment.

Follow this advice. If you check price and trade every day, you will lose money because of fees etc; If you want to make profit trading, trade on a longer period (2 week - month)
1540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC MINING is it still profitable on: May 24, 2014, 12:00:55 PM
you could invest in mining alt coins and then trade for bitcoins. I think this is still profitable. To mine bitcoins directly is very challenging, you need a lot of investment.
