Can you provide a shipping quote for the UK? I don't need the psu though. Thanks.

Yea I'm in the UK. If you could get a shopping quote for five that would be great. Thanks.

How much for the Antminer ducts?
2108  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: October 23, 2016, 01:14:17 PM
I think you're right.

I tested the dlink with just one gekko. 200MHz unstable, 225MHz no response ..
So I think I need a 70W USB hub (unfortunately amazon isn't selling the Superpbag in my country. Hopefully I'll find it somewhere else in the www  Cheesy)

Thank you all very much for your help!!

I was running the US AND EU versions on the dlink hub no problem.
2109  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: October 22, 2016, 09:26:42 PM
To be honest I'm not sure. I got it from www.raspberrypi.org
2110  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: October 22, 2016, 07:39:55 PM
I followed a guide on the raspberry pi forum (after googling it) but changed a couple of parts to "wget" and then unpacking the tar file from the gekkos site that's listed on the first page. Also it's running raspbian that I got from the raspi forum aswell. Not sure if you've done anything different but it works for me.
2111  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: October 22, 2016, 04:59:59 PM
Its very strange that it recognises one but not the other two. Try the same process again but with a different gecko to see if it gets recognised.
2112  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Fan details for S7 on: October 22, 2016, 04:34:17 PM
Well just thought id update this.

Bought two Corsair ML120 (White LED ones as I thought they looked nice). 12v 0.3a and what do you know, its pulling the same wattage at the wall as it did before so total waste of time  Cheesy

They are running at the same rpm as the old ones and resulting in roughly the same temperature on the gui.

Now the red light is flashing and cant remember if it should be flashing green when mining. It still works and registers on the pool so ill leave it for a day and see what happens to the wattage level as its only been running for 25mins.

2113  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: October 22, 2016, 01:56:30 PM
No. Everytime I started the Pi I have the gekkos already plugged in. Is this not the common way?

Both hubs are connected to the Pi. I plugged in the Y-cables with all ends in the data-ports (I could use the amp-only ports for the power cable from the Y, but I have fewer errors if I plugged both in data. It doesn't matter anyway I think cause the second data should provide enough power for 200MHz (correct me if I'm wrong)).

Yea two data ports should be fine for 200m. Leave the y cables plugged in and unplug the gekkos. Leave one plugged in so it finds it and starts mining. Then plug the others in one at a time.
2114  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS][EU] Bitmine Coincraft Desk, 600GH/s, or its modules on: October 22, 2016, 01:14:47 PM
The price is a bit high. Considering it's efficiency compared to modern miners. But it looks in good condition. Can the modules be run independently thorough a raspi running cgminer?
2115  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: October 22, 2016, 12:54:04 PM
Hey Wink

I was trying to hotplug the troublesome gekko a few times. Tried different tactics (short period of time to wait and often replug and long wait ..) nothing worked. I still get "failed to initialise (incorrect device?)"-error.

What am I doning wrong?

You've restarted the raspi with them unplugged and plugged them in one at a time? You've got both hubs connected to the pi? As usually one side of the "Y" cable is power only and the other side transmits data and power.
2116  Economy / Auctions / Re: GekkoScience miscellaneous auction for 16nm miner dev funding on: October 22, 2016, 11:37:41 AM
In that case I bid 0.18 for my one aswell.
2117  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] Up to 1BTC for PayPal on: October 21, 2016, 10:30:20 PM
Fast smooth trade completed. Thanks again.
2118  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: October 21, 2016, 10:21:06 PM
Thx. I'll try that.

I put several stuff  in my /etc/rc.local for startup. The cgminer-part:

screen -m -d -S ckpool /home/username/cgminer-gekko-rev2/cgminer -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u bitcoinaddr.workername -p x --compac-freq 200 2> /home/username/cgminer_log/`date +%Y_%m_%d`.log

Looks good to me. Let them run at 200m for a few hours and then turn them up to 210m for a few hours. Do it in increments Wink
2119  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience Compac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: October 21, 2016, 09:45:41 PM
Hotplug the troublesome ones a few times. One of my stickers used to take quite a few plug and unplugs. Also try restarting the raspi if it fails to recognise it completely. Turn the freq down to 200m and start them up, leave them running then restart the raspi at a higher freq. I just leave mine running at 200m for the sake of 1Gh difference it's not worth having them stopping all the time and having to restart.

Have you got an auto run setup on the raspi?

Any update?

So I need to update you Cheesy ? I accepted the work, there's no problem, and I'll start produce them tomorrow morning.

Cheesy sorry I didn't mean to be a pushy customer.

I'll be patient and wait until I hear from you when they are done and we can sort payment and delivery details  Smiley
