I'd just put it as an investment on a gambling site. I don't see anywhere else worth to put it at the moment...

They are still saying Bitcoin is dead, obviously. They have no other escape that's it's not keeping their "pose"

I don't know if this has been discussed, but here it goes: what is the best way to spend the outputs that spammers are leaving on well known private keys? We could try and drain their funds, a bit like f2pool did.
I read that those are being swept away as fast as the backlog will allow. By pools/miners or regular users?

I don't think this is going to work that well... Everyday we see news of adulterated medicine selling on the internet... How can they assure us of the quality of their goods?

How about dna like security for a wallet, with a dna scanner or some sort of reader that read your dna signature, they only bad thing is if someone chops your friend or steals your blood i guess is no good.
It's a good idea... That's unfortunately not possible to deploy in a cheap way to a huge number of Bitcoin users. The immediate future will rely on retina scans

Well... What are you even talking about? Didn't quite get your post...

Someone's name has got to be in that card, even if it's not yours, so it's never truly anonymous I think. And if there's a camera you can simply forget about anonimity, I bet they can match your face, the time of the pictures, and your card's number... Bitcoin is the way to go

Auditing companies will soon discover gunpowder in the Blockchain technology

This is actually a pretty nice website, short, small, fast to load... But there's no RSS button

Is it just me or I press "suggest and edit" and nothing happens? Anyways, nice map. Could use some improvements

This should be interesting... And it should go to the auctions section too Watching.

Switching servers wouldn't work. The transaction will eventually come through if you wait... But if you're in a hurry you can try and double spend the transaction with a bigger fee, or try some service like this (Disclaimer: never used them, not sure how they work of they work)

i hope they will release some data about how much the atm is used. i am curious to find out if greek people are really interested in buying bitcoin to avoid their shitty banks and government.
They apparently had 2000€ volume in one morning. Not bad, I think.

Everything fine here. Have you rechecked/rebuilt your install?

Core is a very good wallet, but requires the whole blockchain... Armory is very good, but also requires the whole chain, and it is only useful if you're more an advanced user. Electrum is SPV and really good, you should try it. Avoid online wallets! You should really try Electrum. Once you tried it, you will never use any other wallet. It is simple the best wallet ever made, please give it a try.
I can't import my keys to Electrum, or I can't find how. The objective in electrum isn't importing keys: it's entirely switching to a seed that can be memorized. Your previous keys will not be included in a new seed. So just create a seed, keep it safe and transfer your Bitcoins there.

Volatility can be tackled quite well nowadays. Many merchants use services like BitPay. Merchants set a price in fiat currency and it is converted in real time to BTC... (So they even have the chance to receive more coins for a product if the price goes down ) They can also sell it immediately to fiat... Although merchants should only sell what they need to pay bills in fiat, of course!

I've seen people say we're on the beginning of that chart, in the middle, in the end... Just forget that goddamned chart Oh boy, here come the charts again. My personal fav. Haha, was precisely thinking in posting this one after opening the thread!

the "1200$ soar" wasn't only speculation... As for this time it's most probably whales swinging the order books

Transaction times are instant. I have no idea how one can improve on that. However, confirmations are not instant, and cannot be instant.
