Wasn't aware that the beta was live! Looking good so far Does the database update from time to time, or are you manually updating things just for testing? Is it possible to start using the beta version regularly?

The Bitcoin address 1BgGZ9tcN4rm9KBzDn7KprQz87SZ26SAMH "belongs" to whoever knows the private key. The private key is 1 So everyone that knows that the private key is 1, including you, now "owns" that address. BTW the Bitcoin address 1EHNa6Q4Jz2uvNExL497mE43ikXhwF6kZm also has a private key equal to 1 so now, since you know the private key, you also "own" that address. What I don't understand exactly is how 1 encodes to a private key. Do I need to follow this in order to get there?

Thanks for your work, but this is useless with current Bitcoin Core versions No need to maintain it.

I am also very curious regarding OP's questions, and I'd also like to add follow up questions to anyone that can answer: Have you had ROI? If not, how much do you estimate that it will take to make ROI? How much do you charge from fees?
Also, If you ROI, what was the average transaction volume per day that you had?

Thinking with all this drama now is a good time to get out of the escrow biz though. It is not worth anyone's time who does it. I still do not think we have the entire story on this. Scamming for 23BTC just does not seem like an exit scam. I would think if he wanted to get more he could have?
A bit off topic, but I think the case here is the opposite. All the things that have been happening with escrows require that the most trusted ones keep providing their services and/or that new, trusted people start providing escrow services. Having you exiting your escrowing services is pretty bad, IMO. But I, and everyone else, obviously respect and understand your decision

I have downloaded the bitcoin core wallet and I obtained through the vanitygen software a new vanity address. How do I import it to my bitcoin core safely? How to setup a password on the wallet?
To import it in safety you can do it in an offline machine, but don't forget it's useless to do so if you've generated your address online. On Bitcoin Core, you can encrypt your wallet on Settings - Encrypt Wallet

Armory does not create "sending" addresses, the funds can only exit from an address that's already been created to receive them... While sending coins you can select where do you want the coins to be sent from, on the left side of the sending window.

Not the first time these guys are linked here. Didn't really understand their goal the first time and suspected this would be something cloud mining-like. As far as I can see, this now looks even more like cloud mining. Not sure if they'll have much success, even if they're a legit company/service.

Let's not. I personally get really confused when I see something in mBTC or other variants, I started thinking in BTC and now it's been pretty hard to reroute my brain My mobile wallet defaults to bits too, and I have to think carefully when I want to make a transaction and the QR doesn't ask the amount automatically or there's just an address. Anyways, I can get used to it, eventually, but I do prefer the BTC denomination only. As long as most services allow presenting amounts either in BTC or mBTC, everything will be fine

Another Bitcoin ATM, installed on an area densely populated with Bitcoin ATM's... No need I think, they'll just compete with each other and ROI way more slower. And they do have to comply with a lot of things... So they charge ridiculous fees. Not sure on the fees of this particular machine, tho.
Let's see if this has movement. I see it moving to another place sooner or later.

This is actually pretty interesting... Wouldn't mind seeing this on a bot for Motocoin, but since Motocoin's levels are random would this approach work?

Why would coinbase care if they are on the Bitcoin.org site? is it purely from an advertising perspective?
The issue here is far more complex than advertising... The issue here is we are distancing and segregating each other because of different views on how should Bitcoin evolve (or in some cases, simply stall in time). Some people do not seem to care to listen to what everyone has to say about what should the future of Bitcoin be, nor do they seem to care in discovering solution beyond theirs (or any solution at all). We all benefit from dialog.

Copay claims to have testnet support. I've never tested their app, but it says on the changelog they support testnet

How much btc does master-p currently have? How is he going to send it all back?
It seems that he still has pretty much everything that was escrowed. At least checked some addresses and funds are still there, independently of where their private keys are.

Funny thing, I've searched for the sequence and found this too.

So what resources would I need to connect to all 5400+ nodes? Datacenter-style capability with amazing network and even then you won't connect to everyone...

3) TECHSHARE, satisfied, agrees to stop (postpone) the doxxening. 4) No money changed hands.
I don't disagree with any point, that seems to be more or less what's happening here. ... TL;DR: 1) Is the dump getting postponed? 2) If so, why?
Dox delayed because Master-p is supposedly rebuilding his wallet on another computer. The dox is not postponed.
Trolling? Sorry, was indeed editing the post. Dox may be delayed if Master-P proves to be rebuilding his wallet. Dox will be stopped if funds return

So if I steal your money, you threaten to dox me if I don't return it, and I make a post saying "Don't worry, I'm working on it, and, BTW, this is really me!" you wouldn't dox me?
In such case, yes, I would reveal personal information so nobody would deal with that person again, as that person would most likely scam again (or would at least stop scamming now that their personal information is known). But that's not the case we're seeing here neither what you propose would really help right now. Not sure I understand your ELI5. Please tell me which number you disagree with: 1) TECHSHARE threatened to dox Master-P if money is not returned. 2) Master-P (real or not) makes a post, 'proving' that he is, indeed, Master-P. 3) TECHSHARE, satisfied, agrees to stop (postpone) the doxxening. 4) No money changed hands. I don't disagree with any point, that seems to be more or less what's happening here. TECSHARE only agreed to postpone doxing Master-P because he made a post that contained a verified signed message from a previously used address. This makes it highly likely that that was the real master-p, but we do not know for sure. If he does not restore the funds within some amount of time, TECHSHARE will continue with doxing master-P.
Exactly TECSHARE only agreed to postpone doxing Master-P because he made a post that contained a verified signed message from a previously used address. This makes it highly likely that that was the real master-p, but we do not know for sure. If he does not restore the funds within some amount of time, TECHSHARE will continue with doxing master-P.
Which brings me back to my original question: This is very encouraging. I am satisfied for now that there is a reasonable chance this is the real Master-P. I am putting your doxing on hold indefinitely pending your refund of held funds. I am glad you are sorting it out.
ELI5: Why Master-P [real or hax0r] posting should delay dox dump? TL;DR: 1) Is the dump getting postponed? 2) If so, why? Dox may be delayed because Master-p is supposedly rebuilding his wallet on another computer. The dox is not postponed. EDIT: the transaction mentioned by REAL-master-p happened here, as far as I can see, but no addresses mentioned on the thread. It would be nice if the escrow used could confirm the address.

You can see how much the forum has lost here. Although your definition of "lost" doesn't seem to be restricted only to irrecoverable coins...
