Yes, both are the same thing and qt is a graphical interface. You only need one folder You're having two different wallets and two different copies of the blockchain in the way you seemed to have set it up.

What does this have to do with Bitcoin? You're not even selling the book in BTC...

Jailbait thread? the answer to the OP's question

Detroit or anywhere else in the world...

Although this is pretty funny, it's a terrible thing to do if one wants mainstream folks to see Bitcoin and Satoshi...

Very pleasant update today on the App Store! Thank you

I trust some fiat to banks. That's too much already. No, a Bitcoin bank will not have success.
|
|
|
Why not both? If you're investing in the blockchain, you're investing in Bitcoin and vice versa
|

If you disagree with current developments/development methods you can release a fork of your own, call it a final version, release it and request adoption of your client.
Bitcoin cannot be static. Just like the banking system developed, Bitcoin must have its own developments for it to succeed and to adapt to an everchanging society. There is no good in having software and services stuck in time. It's just like latin language: it's not spoken or developed upon, and it's slowly dying.

The right answer is: whatever you feel most comfortable with. It should have a balance of easiness of use and security that is at your knowledge level and that allows for easy fund withdrawal if you need them. Also, you can always employ both

I too agree that these are too many steps between being thirsty and having a coffee. But if we don't go through this, we probably won't have sellers/retailers accepting Bitcoin soon... So this is a necessary evil, I think.

Is this person trying to make us believe he is Satoshi? Not even sure... This is by far the worst attempt at impersonating him, and I've seen quite a few Just a bunch of weird text, no signatures, no nothing...

Despite being one boring live stream, especially if there's no movement ( ) this seems like a great idea! I'll be jumping on the stream from time to time if I can Too bad there isn't any graphic on who's ahead right now.

face to face trades? Of course there must be a way to broadcast the transaction anyways. And as said on previous topics, if there is no internet service, we probably have bigger things to worry about.

I prefer my money in Bitcoin, but I have it mostly in fiat... Because daily expenses and bills can't be paid in Bitcoin, unfortunately.

Another prize? Someone REALLY wants to find out who Satoshi is! I guess that someone is out of luck

I don't really see how he switched sides. I'd say he switched when XT development ceases, which doesn't seem to be the case so far. Anyways, Mike's time has probably gone by: the debate on blocksize is well under way. The fire has already started

Bitcoins have no size. What is sizeable is the blockchain, and transactions are the ones who take up space.

Signature or didn't happen. The usual stuff... As said previously this is nothing without proof and email addresses can be spoofed (or stolen...)

Haha, this made up for an amazing laugh!! I guess this is offtopic anyways
