Sold. Where do I send the coins?

What scum. Someone needs to perform some kind of resource exhaustion attack so they get booted off their VPS.
2983  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: ButterflyLabs FPGA boards on: May 10, 2012, 01:48:02 PM
Yeah brain dead.... It seems that dozens of new topics pop up daily about them, and if you can't find them I have no idea where you are looking. (Under your bed maybe? Not sure)

Where did you send the bitcoins? They don't provide an address other than by Bit-pay, which will send you a confirmation if you have entered your email address correctly.

Still no confirmation from P4man when it is blatantly him doing it.

How lame. 0 integrity and honesty. I guess you should expect that from a total hypocrite !

P4man : "Don't hop ! Let me do it and get all the $$$" Cheesy
Got proof beyond a profile pic?
What does honesty and integrity have to do with it at all?
Why do you feel the need to know everything and have it all confirmed on a silver platter before your eyes?

You should build this thing! http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=19183865
I made the parts list, and if I can sell some of my other shit I am going to have http://geekbox.com/ build it for me. Grin

Shiet that is beautiful. Hard pipes... wow. Only one proc though...
2986  Other / Off-topic / Re: 10000 posts w00t on: May 10, 2012, 01:24:27 PM
wtf is with the accusations about my identity. it says 10008 posts in the service section of the marketplace forum. seriously though, what is with the accusations?
You weren't very specific at all. It could easily have been mistaken for you bragging about your postcount, which seemed odd. I didn't see the indicator for the number of posts in a section since I don't use the forum that way.
2987  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Singles Order Date / Ship Date on: May 10, 2012, 12:59:23 PM
My order (3/8/12) was shipped on 5/7 and I received it on 5/8

It's a rev 3 with the smaller extra fan on the bottom.

The thing came with absolutely no documentation, not that I really need it, but perhaps BFL should at least include a piece of paper saying to go to bitcointalk.
Are you sure you didn't miss the nice bit of card stock with links and info? Maybe it's at the bottom of the box.
2988  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can someone tell me what this is? on: May 10, 2012, 12:58:01 PM
It was clearly intended to be somewhat public, as shown by the partial usernames and the absolute lack of input controls. But it has been pulled offline now, probably due to too much traffic from the forum. Shame, it would have been cool to be able to watch it. It was somewhat mesmerizing.

Back online with a little update:

Puppet Master is currently in closed beta.
If you are interested in renting our hashrate, contact us at btc.puppet.master at gmail com

Damn, all the hopping info is removed.

My single got the new bitstream, but doesn't seem to be going any faster. I dunno if cgminer has an indicator for the number of times it has throttled, but it is currently at 826/803 5s/avg speed. The test went through without a hitch, but it sure isn't going at 860+ mhash/s.

Certain older versions of the single need a power-cycle after firmware upload.

Regards,
BF Labs Inc.
Thanks, after a power cycle it is going faster.

It's a bit of a shame really, he has a decent voice and camera presence, and he could have put that to work by going off other people's scripts. But instead he tried (and failed hard) to start a business, first vacillating between for-profit/non-profit status, and then presenting a business plan that consisted mostly of fail.

bumping old post.

these can be sourced from aliexpress for $22.99 inc postage, cheaper if bought in bulk.
Um.
You realize that one goes from PCI Express TO regular PCI, and not the other way around?
Make sure you get one that goes from PCI TO PCI Express, and then find a price for that.

Do you still have that deafening fan mod? XD
haha no, I have it in my office and that got annoying. Also the video was mostly a troll just to poke fun at the people that were saying it was too loud. Grin

Sad I'm on a remote connection. Care to give us the cliff's notes?

WE GET IT, YOU THINK IT'S _NOT_ A SCAM.

STFU, both of you.

....and the wife won't let me spend 'real money' on new Mining Toys, only generated BTC ....LOL
Ha ha ha ha!

Canadians...

You don't know the half of it !

I still have nearly a grand left over in my Paypal account and at this point, I have to 'make-shit-up' to buy before she gets her hands on my Paypal Debit Card.......

Somehow BTC is safe, but once converted to 'real money' it seems fair game for her...and I gotta get this shit spent...LOL
http://quickbitcoins.com/ Whoops it's down, they take PayPal though...

Could be that the Stratix III was just a prototype for a Hardcopy sASIC, and they decided that they could sell some EOL chips while building a "new" chip on a dead process. Hmm. I wonder if the Mini-rig is fully reprogrammable in the same manner as the single...
