381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 07, 2023, 03:53:03 AM
What was the biggest win by a team this season?

I think the Dallas are gonna hold another record after a win against the Utah Jazz. They had a big win with the score of 147-97, that was a 50 point win. After making a record on a 30-0 run, biggest in the history of the NBA, now they have this one on a possible record this season.

Utah playing without their star players (Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen), easy win by Dallas, and they badly need that win.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you deal with high transaction fee on BTC on gambling? on: December 07, 2023, 03:45:46 AM
Convert your bitcoins into another altcoin. Currently the altcoin price is low only, and then send these altcoin to the casino if you want to gamble. This is only the best method possible if you ask me. There are many casinos present which allows 0 confirmation deposits, but they have some shady reputations too. So if you love your hard earned money, then avoid these types of casinos. Currently the fees are not so high, it’s still manageable according to me.

What if your bitcoin is in your wallet? Like when you are earning bitcoin, you know that when it's moved to an exchange to convert to altcoins, you'll have to pay for the transaction fee. So it's still the same; you won't get away with the high transaction fee. In my opinion, it's not wise to gamble this time. The market is very bullish, and by holding your bitcoin alone, you are already making gains—safer than gambling.

With the high transaction fee, which is around $10, small-time gamblers are going to suffer. It's not worth it, so it's better to keep it (HODL).
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: help me not to leave btc on: December 06, 2023, 08:59:35 PM
If you don't have the patience to deal with market's volatility and you always see bitcoin as a get rich quick scheme, then don't bother to invest in bitcoin anymore. You can make initial profits but seeing yourself in consistent profits is impossible. But if you really have the goals to stay in bitcoin for longer time, then motivate yourself not to be impatient and always put in mind that everything in bitcoin needs hardwork and persistency.

Bitcoin is just like any other investment that needs time and continuous efforts to see it flourish and progress. Faith is important, that's why even if you experience inevitable losses, the fact that you trust bitcoin more than any other crypto investments makes you stick with bitcoin no matter what.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 06, 2023, 12:30:25 PM
Right, but there are boxers who might slack in training as well because they are over confident and that's why we have seen upsets do really happen in boxing. So if you really have the talent and then add that the mentality of a champion by training harder, then you can accomplished a lot of things.

Not just in boxing though, like in basketball for instance, Kobe's mamba mentality, and then you can't out train him. We have heard stories about how Kobe trains so hard that non one can matches him. It doesn't mean that he needs to overtrain train though, just enough to peak his body and mind during the fight day.

I guess boxers don't follow the same routine all the time; it always depends on their opponent as they have a specific strategy to use against a certain opponent. And as we all know, Inoue is currently the best in this division, and even in the lower division where he left after unifying the belts. So, you can tell that it's a big challenge for Tapales, and he also sees this as an opportunity to make a name in boxing. To make that happen, he needs to use his A-game strategy here.

Kobe is different, though, as he is already one of the hall of famers in boxing, at least in the top 5, while Inoue isn't even in the top 10 list yet of the best of all time in boxing. And in terms of training or work ethic, it could be different as they're in different sports.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 06, 2023, 11:29:10 AM
Unfortunately, I got a L on this game, I thought that the Knicks will offer resistance in this game and make it close at least. But it was a dominant win by the hometown them. Giannis really play hard in this game as they don't want to be eliminate so with this big win, they move already.

I wasn't able to bet on the Suns vs Lakers, it was also very close. Congrats to those who got the + side on the Suns.

They have a chance to win the game here, but Reaves prevented it by hitting another clutch three in the dying minutes.

Same here, i thought that the Knicks would make that a close game but they were blown out by the Bucks big time. Those 3's did the damage for the Bucks as they made 23/38 while the Knicks only managed to get 7/23, great difference on that department. Though Randle and Brunson have a big night for the Knicks but that was not enough as both Giannis and Lillard also have an amazing night scoring 35 and 28 respectively.

If you'll conclude early, you'll think that Knicks would win or at least cover the spread, but the 2nd half was a complete different story. This team is very unpredictable as sometimes they start slow but could easily dominate in the later quarters.

How about the 2nd game. I thought that game was give to the Lakers, I mean it looks rigged to me as there are calls and non calls that favors the LA Lakers. The last one was when refs call it a timeout when Reaves wasn't even in position of the ball, that's a crazy ending.

Also, it does look like Lakers are trying to injure the Suns 2 bets players, Booker ankle and Durant Knee.
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not very easy; it took my friend a long time to understand. on: December 05, 2023, 09:14:17 PM
Well, no one actually sees trading very easy to learn. Everyone starts with a scratch and seen struggling learning in it's first weeks, months and year. And that is normal in trading. The important thing is, you learned trading even if the process is not smooth but tough. The fact that you learned it the hard way, the sweeter the profits you will soon to bear.

Good to hear your friend has learned the basics now with the help of this forum. You know, one who desires to invest or trade, there's always high rate of success if they start learning from the experiences of the old members in the forum. At least, they're legit and not just ready made stories and experiences.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 05, 2023, 12:31:02 PM

He needs to adjust as that new fighting tactics seems not to be fit with how fans knew and expect from him, and like what you mentioned it's possible that once Ryan got cornered, he might dwell and returned to what he originally know in terms of strategy, both him and his coach needs to find that right tune of adjustments after this fight, they need to work on it if they are planning to challenge big names and a real champ from the division where they want to succeed.

I agree, just because he won that fight via knockout and was able to prevent further loss, he needs to work and improve his stamina because his next opponents could not have that kind of problem and will be faster and have some power punches than him. He has a lot of room for improvement and surely his comeback fight was really the most important one because it could be the same reason for him to train more and have some courage to add something to his skills and techniques.

It's expected that he'll have a tougher opponent next time as his ranking has improve, and probably, they might look for a championship fight as they are very eager to put Ryan Garcia back as a champion, that if they were satisfied already on his performance on his recent fight.

Ryan before he got defeated by Tank is a very hype fighter, now there's mix reaction and majority has probably criticized him as they were expecting a big comeback win, not a KO win but has struggle in few rounds before the win, and the he didn't fight a high-rank boxer in the division.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 05, 2023, 02:56:13 AM
Pacers beat the Celtics, they're a legit contender man, they won by 10 points, insane!

This group is fun to watch! Actually, I was so happy with the outcome as it's like there's a miracle in this game, I had Pacers over 121.5, this was a losing beat already and wasn't expecting it will win, but man, Hield going crazy in the end and decided to shoot a 3 point shot with 3 seconds left and they already won the game, so that was crazy but I'm happy.  Grin
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I could have won bigger. on: December 04, 2023, 01:22:10 PM
Firstly, I'd like to say congratulations on your win; it's a parlay bet, so I'm sure it's rewarding.

However, I would like to remind you that you can't gamble what you don't have, so the money that you were not able to collect or your friend didn't give you on time is already out of reach. You might be feeling regret now, but if the outcome were different, you'd be thankful you didn't bet big on a parlay ticket.

Now I am angry at my friend because he didn't keep to his words. Although I am still happy about the win, I wish he had given me back the $10. Then, I would have win bigger money.

You just have to choose one feeling, you can't be happy and angry at the same time!  Grin Grin
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why sports betting? on: December 02, 2023, 04:44:13 PM
I prefer sports betting because it's the only type of gambling which is always truly provably fair. You can't fake sports results, you can always check the results on any sports website. Additionally, some experience and in-depth knowledge of the sport you're betting on as well as some insider info may help you. Such things are useless if you're playing casino games for example.
That's true, but there have been incidents with fixed matches in soccer. I'm not sure how valid this information is, but it's something that is quite commonly mentioned, especially in soccer. I'm not really into sports; I've made a few bets in the past, but nothing fancy, although, to my surprise, most casinos now offer a wide variety of sports, from soccer to badminton, wrestling, and so on, and even cover e-sports such as CS:GO and League of Legends. However, I agree that sport betting is a combination of luck, skill, strategy, and knowledge, deriving from the old-fashioned gambling games that rely only on luck.

Fixed matches are happening in sports, and every smart sports bettors know about this. Since it's commonplace, bettors don't complain anymore when a game is fixed, as sportsbooks would still pay if their bet wins. Therefore, choosing the right side is crucial for winning. This phenomenon occurs not only in soccer but also in various other sports, although not all instances of game fixing have been exposed. As a gambler, you should always consider this reality as a vital factor when analyzing a particular game.

Have you ever noticed when a team that is heavily favored, with spreads that could easily be covered, fails to do so most of the time? Moreover, have you noticed that, in many cases, they not only fail to cover the spread but also lose the game? This could be indicative of game fixing, known as point shaping, where the outcome is manipulated to defy the expectations of the majority of bettors.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 02, 2023, 03:54:39 PM
They are on a mission this season, they failed on the last season but they have a good chance of making it to the playoffs as they are a more improve team with Chet playing his first regular season with the NBA. Looking at the production of Chet, we can easily say that he's been one of the biggest reason why OKC has become a very consistent now, and with SGA's consistent contribution as well, it's almost certain they'll make it, the question now is how far they can go once already in the playoffs.
Yes, this is true!
Maybe I'm talking something nonsense, but I have a strong conviction that OKC will get a seed in the playoffs of this NBA season...
Well... that's a good question and I'm also wondering how far OCK can go in the playoffs.

Tonight we will have OKC x Mavericks. I'm looking forward and i will definitely watch this game, it will indeed be a competitive and interesting game to watch.

It's a battle of number 3 (OKC) and number 4 (Dallas) in the West. This should be a great match, but unfortunately, we might not be able to witness a full strenght Dallas in this game as there are players who are listed as questionable to play, such as Hardaway Jr. and their main star Luka Doncic who missed the last game.
392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Keep Emotions in Check and Maintain Strategy as a beginner on: December 02, 2023, 02:18:55 PM
These looks easy but are actually hard to practice. Whether you accept it or not, your emotions will always be your worst enemy when trading. So just learn to deal with it along with patience, as you can't stop from feeling your emotions in everything you do. But as you grow as a trader, you will learn to adjust and control your emotions most especially when the market does not favor your trades.

I'd say experience is the key. If you can't control your emotions as a beginner trader, then let yourself experience all those various emotions when trading. Do not be afraid when you lose as losing is part in trading. But learn to overcome your losses gradually and when that happens, your emotions will also be more likely to be controllable.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea and money are very important to investment. on: December 02, 2023, 01:31:45 PM
I was thinking that if you have money you can make a good income from any investment in the world without someone having the idea, until I met one young wealthy man in the flight yesterday and he saw me checking some coins price in my cryptocurrency wallet, and he begin to ask some questions related to cryptocurrency and, I responded to him in a way he begin to show some interest in cryptocurrency investment. Based on some orientation I gave to him in the flight made him to return the money I paid for flight when will got to our destination because, he gained some ideas from me in the flight that made me to bring this topic, Is there any way someone can survive only in money in a particular investment without acquire idea? Because I know that idea and money are very important to investors.

If you have idea on a particular investment, it will help you to follow the straight way that will lead you to some stage that will make you to believe that you are close to your destination of greatness, and if you have money and idea, very easy for you to grow higher in your investment which the two are very important to investors because, you will know the type of business to invest your money which you have the idea that it will bring a good profits to you in the future. Do you believe idea and money are very important in investment? Or can you succeed with money without idea in that investment.
Both idea and capital are crucial to run a successful business or investment. Without one of them, your business will far to succeed for long term. However, I also believe that experience or skills in running a business has also its vital role. Money and knowledge alone cannot guarantee success, but it should also comes with good performance to run a business or investment.

While experience may not be achieved for beginners, that's why they should learn from other people's experience because it can serve as their guide and direction as to how they'll run their investments without committing lots of errors and losses.
394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to have a stop loss if we are 100% positive about a trade? on: December 02, 2023, 12:56:12 PM
I believe it depends on the type of trade you are making. When you are in the spot market, you don't really need to worry a lot about stop-loss apart from a few cases where you might have bought a cryptocurrency that is highly volatile and you fear it may lose a lot of value in no time causing you a big loss and such tokens barely manage to regain value quickly after that and your investment will get stuck for a good long while which isn't good for a trader.

However, someone who trades in the futures market, it becomes essential to use stop-loss because you surely can't afford to lose all your amount in liquidation in case the market doesn't move in the direction you predicted, and no matter how confident you are, the market can always surprise you.
Whether you're in spot trading or futures trading, as long as you're not confident with how your trades will end up, then I suggest to use stop-loss especially if you are doing leverage when trading. That is from my own point of view, but if you do trading with an amount that you can afford to lose, then using stop-loss might not be necesary at all.

However, if you have uncontrollable fears from losing regardless of its amount, I guess trading with stop-loss is highly advisable. But make sure to overcome your future fears because that won't make you a successful and profitable trader in the long run.
395  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a Bitcoin novice, somebody help. on: December 01, 2023, 10:04:03 PM
I am new in this forum. My friends always talk about this forum and Bitcoin. I want to know about Bitcoin and how to benefit from it.
With the way people talk about Bitcoin, it shows that Bitcoin will turn to a major project in the future. I just want to have a place now. Even if I am late, I know in few years time, I will be earlier than many people.

Please I need help on how to learn Bitcoin and grow here. Thanks.
Take your time from learning in the forum. There's a lot of things that you should learn about bitcoin, and this forum is the most reliable source for acquiring bitcoin knowledge. As a beginner, visit beginners and help section because most of the newbies questions are already there, you just have to explore and study those threads because they can give you insights on how and when to start with bitcoin.

My only advice is that never take bitcoin as only a source of money accumulation, but also deal bitcoin with high regards because you believe that it is our future currency. Bitcoin is an investment and as a currency at the same time, so once you learn the important facts about bitcoin, learn to maximize your utilization with bitcoin as well like investing on it when you're ready and using it afterwards as a payment currency. That's the best way you will benefit the advantages of bitcoin.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin investment is the key to success" on: December 01, 2023, 09:20:46 PM
Bitcoin investment is not the key to success, but to be successful you need to focus on your life's goals and priorities because that will determine your future, if it's going to be successful or not. Although bitcoin investment is capable to give life changing profits, but your life should not rely on it because that remains an investment where there are full of risks and its future outcome may left uncertain.

Finish your studies first because that will lead you to a more certain and brighter future. Do not be too obsess with bitcoin profits, your greed will only lead you into unexpected losses.
397  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Only Sell what you don't need. on: December 01, 2023, 08:15:44 PM
Selling some properties that don't give you an advantage might be quite reasonable as long as you use your proceeds to invest in a secured and profitable investment. And bitcoin is right for it, but I suggest you don't have to invest all your profits just to maximize your investment profits in the future. Bitcoin is still a high risk asset, so invest with caution and always invest what you can afford to lose. That way, you can still use your remaining profits to buy a cheap property, or whatever investment that you think will be highly valuable in the future.

Bitcoin is obviously risky yet a profitable one. That's why try not to invest all in, make a leverage when you have gained already significant amount of profits later in the future.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For sports bettors, are you attracted with bet builder feature? on: December 01, 2023, 03:54:46 AM
I just want to bump this thread as there's a new thread that came up which is something related to this.

check this thread .Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting?

There, you can see that a better won a x1000 odds on bet builder, I guess that makes this type of bet becomes more interesting to bettors now.

I guess parlay is still better as I'm seen lots of parlay winning bets bigger than what was shared but this is the first time I saw a bet builder bet with x1000 odds. That was a crazy win by the punter and i'm sure he'll have a more enjoyable holiday if he opt to cash it out and spend.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 01, 2023, 03:31:08 AM
Looks like lots of bettors fall into the trap of Lakers game. They were +5 in the game, had a good start but weren't able to come back after a big run by the OKC in the 2nd quarter. OKC still remains a team that you can rely to cover the spread, and SGA always maintain a good shooting percentage, he had 33 in this game from 11 of 18 shooting.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What lies ahead for Bitcoin in the coming days? on: November 30, 2023, 09:59:26 PM
I'm more optimistic that bitcoin in the coming days will be more amazing and exciting. Probably because there are exciting events that we really look forward to happen because it will bring market positivity and will make Bitcoin price to skyrocket. The approval of bitcoin ETF and bitcoin halving are becoming imminent so people are really nervous and excited of what it will bring to the market, although we all know that it will bring welfare to the whole crypto coins in the market.

However, we should not also be too much confident about this as all we have are just market speculations and until we don't see these events happening in the market, our predictions and assumptions will remain not guaranteed and not proven.
