5221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Are The Most Common BTC Scams? on: June 03, 2017, 08:19:33 PM
In old days, the bitcoin based scams were coming in the name of cloud mining and now a days scammers are coming in the name of some altcoin projects and now a days every altcoin is coming with ICO plans. In between times doubling in 24 hours/100 hours kind of things were famous among faucet users.
5222  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where to buy Bitcoin with Visa Electron? on: June 03, 2017, 07:32:18 PM
I am right now buying bitcoins in cex.io, they are accepting all types of credit and debit cards. Hence there will not be any specific against your visa electron. Here is bitcoin wiki page on buying bitcoins for your credit/debit cards : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_To_Buy_Bitcoins_With_Your_Credit_Card (do not forget to refer the disclaimer there).
5223  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading signals on: June 03, 2017, 06:41:23 PM
Using Twitter is a good start. Follow exchange
What is the advantage of following exchanges on twitter. I am honestly new to this.
Exchanges provide trading tips through twitter ? If so, what are the exchanges and what is their hit ratio. (I guess it will be possible, because out of just a twitter, they might get lot of trading fee income generations).
5224  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of the BTC on: June 03, 2017, 06:50:32 AM
I think many of us, have a huge problem with the volatility of the BTC. And also the technology behind the BTC is outdated. There are huge amount of the other new generation cryptocurrencies that are more secure and adopted to special needs of different economic and consum needs. I have a big problem with BTC because of the high volatility. So i found Minexcoin, that according to the whitepaper might be more stable and less volatile.

The technology behind BTC is not outdated. It is the most advanced and the most secure out there. Just because BTC doesnt have the features other cryptocurrencies have doesnt mean its outdated. But what could something like Ethereum do better than Bitcoin? Smart contracts with no real world use, ICO scamming?
Recently after the hack attempt by some hackers who demanded bitcoins as a ransom spread this name " bitcoins " across the world and now the community has really grown big. I can't see any problem in bitcoins apart from the block size issue which has been talked so much. Seriously guys, think technically if you have some asset and the amount of asset keeps decreasing day by day won't the USD value increase ?
5225  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are provably fair gambling sites really provable? on: June 02, 2017, 09:42:14 AM
Yes, gambling sites provide us with server seeds that can be verified.

But how do we really know that these seeds are used in actual gambling process?

Isnt it possible they are just displaying server seeds and hashes that we can verify but in reality the server seeds they are using in the back-end functions of the game are actually different/rigged?
Mate sha is a technique that can'e be decrypted by anyone. Basically you get a strong from them and you add a string of yours own ahead on of it and then you do some sha operations on it to obtain a number. This is in short, there is a long procedure as you might have seen, basically if they use other seeds and shows other seeds then the result won't match with the actual roll.
5226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is the fairest bitcoin betting game you know? on: June 02, 2017, 07:42:02 AM
The fairest one are those blockchain based games. Since no one really can predict it. Then there are those games that have only one result for the whole community of gamblers. People can just compare their results and have all the same result since there is only one.
Indeed those games are awesome like luckybit but the problem now a days is the transaction fees is just too much to continue playing these games. But yes, if talking only about fairness they are the most fair game. I used to love a game called satoshinonce or something because there we can bet and see the nonce on the block, simple as that.
5227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: which site to use for live sports betting? on: June 01, 2017, 04:51:38 AM
wondering which site to use live sports betting? cloudbet seems fishy lately, directbet closed, any better choice than cloudbet ?
I hope you will be able to get it easily in your country if you are not a resident of China because few Chinese friends are reporting little problems in dealing with bitcoin payments right now. I find the best of bitcoin sports betting sites which I use to bet in are sportsbit and nitrogensports. After directbet closure, I just stick with these sites.
5228  Economy / Economics / Re: High volatility and sudden crashes will kill bitcoin, unless... on: May 31, 2017, 08:12:32 PM
As Dinofelis said, cash with a finite supply is inheritly volatile. Fiat is able to control giant swings with policy changes & fresh currency, this is something that bitcoin seeks to avoid. We can't add mechanisms for price control and then in the same breath call Bitcoin a "freely traded market", which imo is one of the more appetizing features of BTC.
If limited supply is the core reason for drastic fluctuations then I guess we need to switch over to satoshi based trading instead of current doing BTC based. For example dogecoin are having lesser volatility as they are having huge number of units and no total supply cap.
5229  Economy / Economics / Re: Long-term storage on: May 31, 2017, 08:30:17 AM
What do you think,
How safe is to keep some BTC in the coldwallet for 20 years paying no attention to crypto world?
That's good. But if you won't pay your attention on bitcoin current news. You will miss lot of things like updates. You know, 20 years is a very long time. What if bitcoin just died before you reach 20 years? You just waited for nothing. All your investment are all in vain. Better sell them. You need to get in touch on bitcoin updates even just every month.

The worst case scenario when he store it for 20 years is if he is still alive when that time comes. Let us say that bitcoins value have reached a million dollars but that time but it will still be a waste if he is already dead. The best way to keep coins is to withdraw some amounts from your profit and enjoy it, remember life is short and life is much more important than bitcoin.
The life and death is totally a different scenario. There is no guarantee of the human life for only a second. Years are far more from it but no one can even guarantee that he or she will definitely be alive by tomorrow. What makes the difference here is your planning to your investment. I appreciate if someone has enough money to invest for that much long time and he can wait for the profit passionately.

FAQ
How can I trust your website?
There is no definite way to prove my trustworthy but checkout the reviews below.
You can prove your trustworthy by engaging escrows for this business.
Yes, escrow seems inevitable here till OP gets established. They are asking us to check out their reviews but I am not finding anything so. I agree they are very new to business and yet to have their first review.
I mean to say I personally will not trust any services just by their reviews as paid reviews are very common now a days everywhere.
5231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How To predict ALTcoin ?? on: May 30, 2017, 09:13:16 PM
How to analyze or predict an altcoin? And how do we know the coins will rise or fall ?? Sorry i am a newbie
Only by closely watching you may get those information. No one could analyze better than you for your trading. So do not expect someone will be listing all your required data. You need to generate them for your own use. When you will be continuously watching market you will get ideas to generate them.
5232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees!!! on: May 30, 2017, 12:49:19 PM
If you cash out by bitcoins at a casino and the casino doesn't add enough fees for fast confirmation. If the price of bitcoin drops a lot. Should the casino be held responsible for the price differences in which you cashed out at and the current loss in btc prices?
Will you be ready to return some portion of your withdrawal amount in the case of prices increasing between your withdrawal time and confirmation time ?
We are in agreement with every gambling houses to deal in BTC value regardless of where the prices of bitcoin is fluctuating.
5233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The price on the exchange? on: May 30, 2017, 08:11:16 AM
Initial prices or first day prices are being determined by what is the actual business/concept/ market capitalization/number of units. Later on supply and demand finalizing things.

If you are having highly innovative concept, you may start your listing with very big prices. Then people will decide whether it needs to go up or down based on application of your concept.
5234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Chart several Crypto's on same price-graph on: May 30, 2017, 06:30:05 AM
https://www.tradingview.com/ does the job well and the charts are free (so far).
Yes, tradingview is my favorite too. Are you able to combine multiple coin's plotting into one chart ?
I just wonder you might need to choose similar price levels of coins for that, other wise there will be no meaning of comparing them in one single chart, right ?
Or combining charts helps you to spot any other significant advantages ?
5235  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin charts == Déjà vu on: May 29, 2017, 05:33:08 PM
Not just bitcoins, almost all commodities are repeating their trading patterns. A new high -> a steep fall -> dead cat's bounce back and again a new peak and continues. If you look at the price levels, it is just jamais vu (= never seen), means bitcoin is finding new ATH all the times for repeating same patterns.
5236  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is it that's affecting the Bitcoin price fall? on: May 29, 2017, 04:46:58 PM
What affected this price fall?
Most probably some whales would had booked profits by $2800+ zones as they might had felt about big resistances around $3000 levels. Other than this, there was no big negative news to trigger the pull back. That was pure trading sentiment hence prices will bounce back soon !
5237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or XRP? on: May 29, 2017, 08:32:14 AM
ltc and xrp same is good coin
if must choose one, iam choose litecoin, because total suply xrp is very big
Ripple ? Jesus, I never want to get struck with any centralized system even they do call themselves as more decentralized than bitcoin ecosystem. In recent times XRP found more than 500% growth but their tx per sec not even matching what bitcoin's 1%. Hence it must be a blind pump and may fall into blood bath any time.
5238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Black Swan Scenario on: May 28, 2017, 04:54:17 PM
Everything can happen, nothing is excluded, but when something bringing money, tend to stay. Crashes are mainly caused to bring more money to certain groups and this will not be changed. Till we have centralized exchanges we will live in fear, of GOX sindrom. Regulations won't kill money machine, they will tax it and try to controll it.
The regulation are never to kill any financial activity abut are here to streamline them in a good way to be helpful for the progress of the society. Thing get wrong when money or wealth is stored at a certain place, the circulation of wealth is very important to keep the society in a balance and alive.
5239  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: May 28, 2017, 04:21:26 PM
Imagine a country where average monthly minimum wage is $100 signature campaign alone cover such a wage.
I do not think such a country really exists. But there are campaigns which are paying more than $80 per week which means $320+ per month. Still it may be enough for a single person not for a family. I agree bitcoin helps people to find employment for their skills but not sure whether it is capable of providing a living.
5240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turn $10,000 into 1 Million on: May 27, 2017, 07:45:14 PM
Have you set any time frame for achieving this ? From $10k to one million dollars is 100x growth. If everyday making 100% (= $10k) profits then it might take more than 3 months time and for 10% (a reasonable) daily profits it would take three and half years. But daily $1000 profits still seems impractical to me.
