541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 0x.bet Online casino on: March 19, 2024, 04:48:25 PM
Here's the thing about this review though, you're a newbie and people don't easily trust people like you in here because a lot of scammers that want to promote their scams in the forum are always creating newbie accounts to spam the forum into promoting their scams here so not everyone trusts people like you OP and there's nothing you can do about it. Either you should've done this by earning a reputation and building your account here, that helps the most too because if you're active at a lot of discussions, people will see you more often and if you're lucky, they might like you and associate your posts as reliable or worth looking into but that's not the case for you right now.

Unless of course someone who's been in this forum for a really long time have a don't care attitude that they might consider trying this and seeing the results themselves, that's the only hope you've got if we're talking about someone backing up your review.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Minimalism in Bitcoin would slow your accumulation process on: March 17, 2024, 09:33:45 AM
It's simple, just find a job that pays you well in fiat and find another side hustle that will generate you extra income, that way you've got a money that you can still rely on when the bearish season is happening and that way, you can accumulate at that time even more because you've got a lot of money and you can buy bitcoin at a really low price but at the same time, your getting better value compared to when you're buying right now, your accumulation process should be dependent on what's the current market season for bitcoin because if you don't do it the right way, you're probably going to end up having the issue of panic selling or bad value investment. Just remember that in bear season, you should be increasing how much you're buying either through DCA or other methods and your rate of accumulation, and maybe the other way around when the bull season like right now is happening. Of course those advices are going to be much more effective if you've got a job and that side hustle that I've talked about earlier.
543  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Wallets with multiple addresses on: March 17, 2024, 08:55:08 AM
The problem with this approach is that if you're storing that wallets in only one device, you will still risk getting all of that bitcoin scammed, there's no foolproof way to protect yourself from all of the harm that others can do when it comes to stealing your bitcoins. I really like to do this too but the problem is most of my bitcoin hoard is in a paper wallet that hasn't seen digital entry for a really long time and I'm scared that there's something that's lurking on my computer or devices that I don't know about that might see the amount that the wallet got but at the same time I do want to do this because I know that having it on multiple addresses makes it so I'm less vulnerable to losing all of my bitcoins in one fell swoop.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we avoid crypto taxes with other users assistance? on: March 17, 2024, 07:54:37 AM
If the amount levied on tax payment is affordable to the people, i don't think they will like to make moves in finding an alternative to wave away the incident of paying for task, the same issues we had when the fiat transaction cost is unbearable that led to the development of a new and alternative means of making payment with bitcoin, so i don't see it a bad idea if we have a means to avoid such but legitimately.
The problem is that the government that's inherently corrupt will almost always try to keep their hands on as much money as possible, remember that tax is their lifeblood and if the people stop paying them, they can't function and for those corrupt people in the government, they'll end up with nothing to pocket, that's why they try to squeeze you even more for the taxes because the budget that they've got is piling up because they overspend on some to purposefully pocket the surplus amount of money. As much as I want to say that I like normal working class people to be getting all the money that they want without paying the taxes, the problem is that the public works are going to suffer the most and you don't want to be crossing a nearly collapsing bridge because they used a substandard cement to finish that bridge. In regards to avoiding taxes, there's probably a way to do that but I'm not going to elaborate on that so people don't get any ideas.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Day i have lost my 100 bitcoins on: March 17, 2024, 06:34:18 AM
The problem is that at that time, bitcoin is just some hobby that you forgot about and I probably would've done the same thing as you with that flash drive, I mean if you don't got a utility at the moment for something, you'll almost always going to end up discarding them, that's how it goes with things like this so make sure that if you want to keep something, make sure that you're not keeping it just for the sake of keeping it, you need to have a purpose for keeping that in thing in your person, right now or in the present, if that doesn't satisfy those categories, discard it. There's also the possibility that you might not even be able to open it since it's abandoned and there's the possibility that it's probably obsolete and that it's damaged by the elements that you're probably going to see that it wouldn't be working anymore. Oh well, I guess another 100 bitcoin is gone and down into the abyss thus increasing the value of it even more, thank you for your involuntary sacrifice OP.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon Compares Bitcoin to Smoking on: March 17, 2024, 05:10:25 AM
But.. that's actually a great take though?

He'd personally wouldn't own bitcoin, but he supports everyone's financial freedom to purchase things they believe in. Why are the responses to this thread so negative despite the neutral(but very reasonable) stance? Read the freakin article, don't just read the headline looool.
As much it's a great take, I still don't think that it's worth your time to listen to this kind of thing or maybe even learn what he wants to talk about, he's not a great role model for us investors anyway and I don't think that he's the type to follow if you want good advice because I feel like this is the kind of guy that would probably lead you astray even if you're genuinely asking the right questions.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple mistake that makes you lose everything on: March 17, 2024, 03:19:07 AM
This happens due to the lack of concentration I must say. Moreover this happens with almost everyone. If we get frustrated easily by any actions, then yes we make the mistakes next time by placing all the worst bets and at last we bust up losing all the balance. To counter this, what we can do is just take small breaks in between the bets. Change seed pair and play with full concentration. Just gamble with the amount that you can afford to lose, and everything will be alright.
If you're easily frustrated by your actions and things easily make you lose your cool then there's definitely a problem with you and there's no way around that besides either taking a step back or stopping what makes you have this kind of feelings, the first one is a good solution if you don't want to quit gambling, it also helps with your cooling down and that way your mind isn't all over the place and you can think way more clearly compare to when you're gambling and sometimes that's all it takes for people to redo their focus on what they're doing, this advice works in all aspects of your life. The second one is a bit more drastic and you're definitely going to need to be at the edge of your patience and that there's no way around it and you're so addicted to gambling that you're going to need a way to stop yourself from further succumbing to that gambling problem. Totally agree with in-between breaks, the same thing as my first advice but it's not that effective in my opinion.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: March 17, 2024, 02:20:41 AM
1 bitcoin all the way, if there's a risk that's not favoring me in any way, I don't want to take it. I have been gambling on and off because I know how bad my gambling luck is and that's also the reason why in this hypothetical situation I'm almost always going to choose that one because I know how valuable bitcoin's going to be if I just hodl on to it long enough, I'm going to be making a profit, sure 5 bitcoins are more than one but if there's an opportunity that a free bitcoin is going to be given to me with an optional choice of not getting it although there's a higher reward, then the most logical that I would do in that situation is to just go for the free bitcoin.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: March 17, 2024, 01:42:00 AM
Shifting the blame from yourself to someone else after losing is quite stupid, but unfortunately there are a lot of such people and they are found not only in the field of gambling, but also in everyday life. I have been watching such people for a long time, but I have not been able to make a clear conclusion as to why they do this. On the one hand it may be a protective reaction of the organism, but on the other hand it is just stupidity, which does not allow you to learn from this situation.
Definitely stupid but if you think about it, that's what you do when you're in the heat of the moment, it's not everyday that someone's got a really bad losing streak and combine that with the emotional outbursts that you're feeling, it's probably what someone would do, it's not going to do something but I believe it helps alleviating the pain that the person felt at that time, of course there's a limit to the blame, anything outside of verbal is going to be an issue that needs to be addressed. Sure it's stupidity but we're only humans, stupidity is what we do when we get caught off guard and we make mistakes. The best thing that someone should do in this scenario is that they should always make sure that when things have finally settled down, they need to evaluate and assess that action that they've done, they need to change what wrong they've done and at the same time do strive to do changes to that behavior.
550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo Alvarez - Jaime Munguia May 4 Super Middleweight Championship on: March 16, 2024, 10:00:16 AM
I think the last time I saw Munguia fight was when he was an undercard in Canelo's fight. He was a young boxer who seemed innocent yet brutal. He was a rising star. And then I've forgotten about him. I'm now surprised he's now 43-0 and not yet making a huge name. Perhaps because he doesn't have a loud mouth?
That means that you haven't been keeping up boxing for a really long time and I'm a bit different because I only watch the main events so I don't know a lot about Munguia but a 43-0 record is no laughing matter, as much as I like to bet on Canelo because he's a really good fighter though, I feel like that undefeated record isn't going to be stained by lose anytime soon. I don't know much about Munguia, if he's a knockout artist then he'll probably be able to find a win against Canelo but I know Canelo and he's more experienced in my opinion compared to Munguia, so it's probably power and experience that's going to be a clashing factor between the two.
551  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sport Dictation Free trial !! on: March 16, 2024, 09:17:40 AM
OP are you telling us that you can be able to see a goal scored before it can be predicted. Is this some magic, superstition or what? Gamblers I think would not be able to give in to this service of yours except the desperate once who do not really understand the dynamics  and basic fundamentals or principles of gambling.

If you claim to have proven records why not state them here otherwise that is just mere words to decieve members and lastly I will advise you to be transparent enough to continue your conversation here rather than telegram because that would clear a bit doubt on your services.
What this is, is a scam perpetrated by the need to make money out of thin air and the need to control how other people thinks. Prediction is probably the best thing that any human can do when it comes to this kind of things, anything beyond that like foresight and clairvoyance is just a different thing altogether and it's borderline supernatural or out of this world. There's no stating of records because there's nothing really, it's not going to be appearing anytime soon, no tickets with the correct predictions just BS out of thin air in the hopes that they can get some clients to pay for their service, that free trial might look attractive but I'm telling you that once you're in too deep with that one, it's going to be hard to get out, there's a catch in this shady free trials.

You've got some explaining to do, not just saying that you don't know their accounts or that they're your friend's accounts, the unknown ones I'm the most curious of because if you don't know them then how come they're connected to you? It's not like your address and the unknown addresses interacted without your knowledge after all. Regarding those friends, they're going to be hard to prove that they're really the accounts of your friends, it could be a case where you're letting others use your account to cheat the forum in some way.
553  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit abuse and probably account hacking on: March 16, 2024, 07:28:19 AM
I wonder even after 6 years of merit introduction, some users are still doing the same! It's like they discover merit and think about a way to send the sMerits to an account they care to rank up LOL
They even have a hard time doing the abuse too and it's not going to work if you sell your merits because people will notice so I don't get the reason why they're still doing it, it's really weird that people still do this and that there are people that pay for this, even if you got the merit, you'd still have a hard time getting into campaigns, getting loans and many other things, people will still judge you on your posts and what's it's quality, not on your rank!
554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best altcoin now? on: March 16, 2024, 05:49:42 AM
If you are familiar with Solana, then I think you should invest in it. Solana is making a good move in the market, and added to that, Solana is being used in different projects, or Solana has projects that are becoming more expensive, and yeah, Solana is, I think, one of the safest alt coins to invest in, as it has been proven. You could also do ETH, which is, I can say, the second-highest price in crypto currency. It always follows when bitcoin is either moving up or down, but of course, be careful with trading or investing in altcoins as they are subject to dips as the investors are only thinking about selling their stocks as they see the price of their altcoins increase. It's okay to try and trade altcoins; just stay away from memes and shitcoins, although they can be profitable at times, but not for trading.
Solana is a good pick but there's others that might do you good, memecoins aren't that bad, definitely stay away from shitcoins but the only problem is that you're going to need to know if it's a shitcoin or not because at first glance especially those with active Twitter and Discord groups of crypto are making it difficult for someone to know if it's a shitcoin or not. Meme coins could make you or break you as they're not really worried of having a utility at all and the only upside is that people are stupid and they find those coins funny so they're going to buy a lot of them. ETH is my best pick when it comes to altcoins since it's the 2nd most popular, I can never go wrong with it even though a lot of people don't believe in ETH.
555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are your assets safe on Kraken?? on: March 16, 2024, 05:01:37 AM
Don't judge it based on a few bad reviews, the only time that you should be concerned that an app or a service is a bad one is if you see that there are people that have lost their money or crypto in that exchange without any explanation but besides that, most of them are probably not compatible with it or they find it difficult to use. Good to keep in mind too that when you store your bitcoins on an exchange, you're going to end up relinquishing your control over your bitcoins which isn't the ideal thing that you should do in the case that the CEX that you're using goes under and you have some crypto still in it then you're going to end up having big problems, it's not recommended but it's not outright a bad idea to store it there, maybe a part of what you're hodling or maybe just the amount that you'd need to quickly sell. No matter how trustworthy a exchange may look, you will never know if there's an attack or fraud that's going to happen and you're not going to have any power over your crypto there since it's not yours technically.
556  Economy / Reputation / Re: The SportsBet.io Gang on: March 16, 2024, 02:26:37 AM
You didn't post the username of these gang members; you just posted the merit link, so let me do it for you.

LFC_Bitcoin, jeremypwr, buwaytress (This will notify them just in case they're using the BitcoinTalk Telegram notification bot).
They are all Legendary Members. I think it doesn't matter if they're giving each other Merit.
Definitely doesn't matter if they're cycling the merits for themselves but I think that what OP is trying to say is that it's a bit unfair that the merits are not fairly distributed to other users that are outside of their clique, at least that's what I believe this is what it means. I guess, the merit sources should up their game if they don't want people like OP to be starting this kind of thread and to you OP, maybe the reason you're not getting the merits or you feel like the merits are distributed unfairly is because you're not posting what qualifies to the people that give merits as quality posts.

They spend tens of millions on sponsorships in the Premier League, but somehow it got stuck that the disputed merit distribution is in their thread.
As far as I know, the amount of merit distributed in the Sportsbet ANN thread is almost insignificant compared to WO (which is more meaningless), but that is another story that has already been discussed.
WO is a forum of it's own, there's no way to describe how that works.
557  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: March 16, 2024, 01:46:16 AM
~
Instead of Merit, they could add spamlinks to their post later. Many spambots have been doing that, usually with worthless posts. A few days later, they edit it and in many cases the backlink stays undetected for years.
I just hate seeing this crap on the tech boards. It's becoming more and more difficult to differentiate between a real Newbie who needs help, and useless spam.
Wow, really shady and polluting way of using the forums, I guess you're right, with bots getting more good with their way of doing things, it gets harder do see who's the real newbie, maybe the best thing that we can do right now is to find a way to tell quickly that someone is a newbie that asks for the genuine questions but sometimes there are some newbies that totally don't know if not ignorant that they're doing a spam posts so the way to distinguish them is probably a difficult thing unless of course we do some talking to them either via PM or through the spam, they'd respond to them if they're newbies for real and would immediately change their ways. What worries me are those that spamlinks because as you've said the backlinks are undetected for a really long time.
558  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: March 15, 2024, 09:18:59 AM
How about Newbie benbrian42?

Zerogpt.com says it's 99.2% AI diarrhea. OP was last active the second he created this topic. Is this a new thing trying to earn Merit, and if not, abandon the account?
Undetectable AI and Scribbr is both screaming red with the warning that the text is AI generated, we can probably even confirm what AI it came from if we do a prompt where we ask an AIs like ChatGPT or Bard if they've written this text, if there's close to zero changes or iterations, they'd definitely say that they did it but it's a different story when they did some changes. Regards to this possible trend of new accounts that would be abandoned once there's no merit coming in, wouldn't this be too much of work just to cheat on this forum? It's not like there's anything worth cheating for in this forum anyway? The signature campaign payments are pretty much peanuts in many of us so I'm really curious how the brain of the people that do this kind of boring and soul rending activity works, I don't know who they're but they probably need to find a job.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Years ago people laughed at me bcz of THIS on: March 15, 2024, 08:28:56 AM
4 Years ago they called me crazy psycho.
Can you quote on the people that have called you that? You can probably do good if you quote them all and paste it here but I got to tell you though, there's definitely people that have made profits during COVID and that season is definitely a time that bitcoin did made some pump and a lot of us never really expected it to go that high although some are hyping it up, they're not really believing that but then again bitcoin pump happened. I guess that the takeaway here is that just buy, accumulate, and hodl bitcoin when you think that someone is crazy and a psycho because they're yapping about the price of bitcoin going to an unprecedented heights and that there's a factor that's affecting because no matter what they say, be it a positive or a negative yapping, at the end of the day, bitcoin's going to win and if you just wait for that to happen, you're also going to get the win.
May nakahodl din kasi ako na Ronin at hindi na ako masyadong naglalaro ng ibang NFT games (in fact pati Axie) kaya medyo bias if not biased ako pagdating dito kaya take my opinion with a grain of salt nalang.
