What kind of connections do the radiator fans have on them? 3 pin, 4pin, or something else? I'm looking for an adapter that will power all the fans directly from my power supply and not have to go through the miner rig.

3 pin on the 3 radiator fans, 4 pin on the pump.

Ok thanks. Now just to look for a molex connector to a multi 3pin harness. Not trying to avoid using the harness, but more as a backup really.

Any generic fan controller will do that. Might have to cut a bit of the plastic on one of them to fit the 4 pin in but it will effectively give you 4x3pin to molex.

Having a tough time finding the adaptder. Just want to go from my power supply and plug the male part of the 4 pin molex into the femaie. Then on the other end plug the pump into it with the 4pin connector, hence not have to open up the C1 at all or use any harness.

Thank you, but what connections are on the ends of the fans? 3pin? 4pin? 2pin?
Thanks.

Is Corsair RM850 80+ Gold PSU enough for running one Antminer C1?

Yes, although I still prefer the 1000 as an investment if you're buying a new one.

I can confirm the rm1000 is great with theses.  I had a cold ambient temps and PSU was in its "quiet" mode.

I have got conformation I am being sent 2 pumps as replacement's.   I bought a molex to fan connector so I don't have to worry about my wire frying boards.

All said it looks like I am losing around 2 weeks mining on 2 C1 machines.  Down 2 board fan controller's on 2 separate boards.  Lost higher priced coolant.  Paranoid and bought 2 extra pumps, and molex to fan boards.  With extra parts I ordered I am hoping to lose only around a week, but it came at a premium.

I will know more when I get all the parts from RMA.

I highly suggest 2 things after all of this so you don't lose mining time.

Where would buy extra pumps if you are in the US? Or does it matter what kind of pump, as long as it pumps enough coolant through?
Also, are the connections already attached to the pump when delivered? Cause I saw where you can attach multiple connections and the picture on syscoolings website of the pump looks a little different with the attachments. Do they just screw in? Asking a lot of questions because water cooling is a whole new arena for me and do like to have parts available.

More C1 stock added to batch 2.
When will this batch ship out?
587  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Cooled Miner C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 13, 2014, 07:07:35 AM
Seems my order was paid for, it indicates that on my order history.

I have two things to ask. How do you perform an SD card image flash? Or does it run off the SD card all the time?

Also, DOGIE, you indicated you need 1 litre of cooling liquid. That's ALOT of cooling liquid. Are you sure it is one litre and not 1 quart? And does the kit come with all the cooling liquid so you don't need to buy anymore? I may pick up an extra small quart, but wanted to know.

Thanks.

Blockchain.info down and even blockexplorer.com was down. I have 4 payments sitting with no confirmations for over 2 hours now and things just don't seem right. I sure hope there isn't a take over happening now. I never saw the network act so random and odd.

It is 1am EST in the US.

Same here. I even had received a double spend and they both show 5 confirmations on blockr.io
Can't access my wallets since I'm a using blockchain.info API on my IOS.
Would love to find out what's going on.
Anyone know where I can import a private key on an online wallet?

"Seems" to have gotten better, but still slow confirmations and moving around the network. Not a good time to make or receive BTC payments, at least for me right now.

After that huge post on /r/Bitcoin, you reverted your decision?

The response to the intent to close the pool were definitely weighing heavily on me.  That was originally why I began to consider selling the pool to keep it running.  After responding to the first wave of inquiries about buying the pool, I started to realize that selling the pool would likely not be possible.  I could not separate myself from the pool, and the only thing going through my head over the last two days was the concern that if I sold it and somebody ruined it, opened it up to vulnerabilities, or wronged the users, it would be my fault even if it happened years after I was gone.

In the business world if you want to know what your business is worth, put it up for sale. Costs nothing and you'll get multiple offers. I think once you saw those numbers you may have started to change your mind right there and then. It does seem weird to do a 180 with such a big projectm life changing event. Usually the answer to %99 of all questions is "money".

But in the long run, good luck.

I ordered another SP20, can't help it.  It is an addiction

Ha!

Im sat considering the same, my decrepit jupiters will be shutting down in a week or 2...

but i just woke up to this sp20 hashing at 957 again...8 more hours semi-downtime.

A quick save in the settings brought it back up but i plan to be away for xmas, so can do without the ballache.

@ SPTech - Is there any possibility of these ones being a bit more stable?

Return that sucker and get another one. Obviously it is not doing the one thing it's supposed to. Hash away.

Batch 2 sold out in one day....really Huh

In stock for me. The $100 shipping kills it for me.

Not sure the ordering system is working. I paid in full for 4 of them and haven't received an email like it says on the order page. It has been about 40 minutes with no confirmations at all and I did put in a little extra of course.

593  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Cooled Miner C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 13, 2014, 04:12:43 AM
I just paid for 4 of them and there is 1 confirmation only and I haven't received an email or anything. The order page said I would receive an email when it is paid in full. Can you look into this? I really don't want $1600 worth of bitcoin in limbo here. Two orders. Each had 2 C1's. Both were paid in full 2 minutes after order site came up letting is know what the amount is.

Thanks.

594  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Cooled Miner C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 13, 2014, 02:22:45 AM
sold out.

Why does it keep going in and out of stock? I've seen it turn green several times, then back to gray.

595  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Cooled Miner C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 13, 2014, 12:37:25 AM
ANTMINER C1 Batch 2 is Sold Out

They probably aren't making so many of them, since it is hard to justify $500 plus all the extras for only 1TH/s. Even Spondoolie lowered their price on their SP20 %40, but some are having problems. I guess everyone is having problems.
596  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Cooled Miner C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 12, 2014, 11:51:04 PM
Are these pumps made to run 24/7 all the time? This is the only thing that is bothering me, is how is the quality of the pump? Also, just in case I do get one, where can I download the SD image/directions to flash the unit? It seems a lot of users had to do this. My laptops all have an SD card reader in them, so I'm good with that.

Thanks

EDIT: I downloaded the SD image, are there instructions online anywhere on how to flash the chip? I'm just preparing.
Also, important question. WILL THERE BE ANY FAULTY CABLES SHIPPED IN THIS BATCH?

Thanks
597  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: November 12, 2014, 09:33:05 PM
The mechanical problem with the SP20 was completely solved. We've tested and confirmed.

Can you expand a little in layman terms what the problem was? I'm considering buying a few, but have been holding out due to this.

Thanks  Smiley
In previous revision of the SP20 mechanical kit, the hashing boards may shift during transit due to the fact that they were not secured enough inside the box.
Most of the customers that were encountered the issue were able to solve by simply opening the box and press down the hashing board.

Has that issue been resolved for when they are being shipped out and bouncing all over in the back of a delivery truck? You mentioned what happened and what users did to resolve the issue, but never mentioned has the underlying problem been resolved?
Thanks.

I cannot express how glad I am I sold my SP20 immediately for exactly what I paid for it given they have 0 regard for those who purchased early (as show in the lowering of prices 1 week after delivery without equal compensation to early supporters).

Lowered the price 1 week after delivery, but shipping is one week later so that makes it 2 weeks. Also you should know by now that mining hardware price is always going down. I don't think you were expecting the same price until the end of the year.

The hardware was actually shit too, hence why they had to stop selling it to sort the problems out.

They had issues with shipping, not with the actual hardware, but yes feel free to spread your anger/shit here.

This is the first time I have ever seen SP lower prices. And it wasn't a little at a time, it was just one big drop. I could be mistaken about them lowering prices, but I don't remember. Old age starts to melt away brain cells.

Great hardware, shitty management.

Is this for real?

price is still too high, there is no roi here.

Hardware = $800 (including power supply)
Profitability decline per year = 0.1 (only <8% decline per period, very conservative)
Power = 1200W @0.15

Still come back with a negative $ after 12 months. It's basic math, i dont understand why people continue to buy those overpriced hardware, host them, run them, when they wont make any money for you.

I just went over that with my dad, that he has to pay the electricity on this one (not hosted) and buy a high quality PSU which would cost about $200 for a good one. He's now bummed like a little kid, but so am I. Buying mining gear together keeps up talking and in a good relationship.
