701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: August 05, 2020, 12:13:28 PM
I understand why a lot of people are picking Mike Tyson being a legend and all but what people don't get is he has been inactive for several years now as compared to Roy Jones who is active in pro-boxing where his last fight happened last 2 years ago. When it comes to being involved in the sport I think Roy Jones is more match fit compared to Mike Tyson. But if this is an official match it will always boil down to preparation with them until the day of the match so Mike Tyson has a chance of winning this but the question is, is he gonna be prepared to do so?
702  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] Stats on: August 05, 2020, 11:36:17 AM
I remembered a topic I had read before about the "user stats" being disabled due to the forum having performance issues with it so I think the same case will happen to the forum if they bring out this real-time data as it will bring more load to the website. Maybe having an external site like what LoyceV have is the solution here if you are interested in pulling out this data from Bitcointalk.
703  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ideas of gambling projects | Looking for companions on: August 05, 2020, 10:38:35 AM
There is still a lot of things missing in your gambling site one of which is a gambling license which you will need before you can properly operate. Site design wise your competition is miles ahead from you, your site lacks modernity and to be frank it looks like a browser mini-game rather than a real gambling site, when it comes to your site design I think you should improve it as much as possible as well as your game itself. But before that like I said you need a gambling license before you can start accepting bets.
704  Economy / Economics / Re: Second Stimulus check - What are you going to do with it? on: August 04, 2020, 11:30:38 PM
If I'll be receiving a stimulus, I'm not from the US. The things that I'll buy will be divided into many things. I won't be buying a new computer but I'll be upgrading so that's the first one.
The next will be investing in bitcoin and a lower portion for the stocks if it's essential. And the remaining balance, I'll save it for an emergency fund so that if I don't have a budget anymore it will be for essentials.

You should also put your shoes in the situation of the Americans who will be receiving these stimulus checks. Right now they will be receiving another one because a lot of them lost their jobs as well as the price of basic needs have risen that's why they will be receiving a financial aid from the US government. If you put yourself in their position you won't really have any room for upgrades in your pc or think about investment. Because if you want to survive in these pandemic without any money you'll also be starting think about liquidating all your assets.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal mass adoption on: August 04, 2020, 10:13:13 PM
You know how easily can this be avoided? The government/authorities should require Bitcoin ATM/Kiosk manufacturers to make licenses a requirement for their buyers before they can buy one of their products. Obtaining a license first before you buy one is the easiest way to avoid this kind of legal trouble especially for unknowing businessmen who always go in and don't study and plan everything. If they at least require the manufacturers to do this at least they have some kind of 1st level protection for things happening such as this one.
706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: paxful kyc problem on: August 04, 2020, 09:14:06 PM
Can I keep selling and buying btc by using paxful without kyc via changing
email and cellphone number constantly?

There are many platform out there that are much better than paxful dude, don't risk your capital with kind of platform.
For me in my opinion it's not a good one to buy Bitcoin, why don't you try to use platform in buying bitcoin that are more
listed on top in the market like Binance, Kucoin, Houbi or Okex and more.

His main problem I think is about him giving up his personal data as a KYC requirement which is really a sad thing because we all know even those exchanges you mention are now strict with KYC. His problem is easy to be solve really and that's accepting the fact that if you are involve in trading you must accept that KYC will always be a part of it due to AML laws in place. A lot of people including the OP still thinks that anonymity is an option but it is slowly fading away and maybe soon enough KYC might be a requirement even before you can open an account for crypto trading.
707  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-07-30] Bitcoin Held by Exchanges Drops to 2019 Levels, Demand Rising on: August 04, 2020, 03:48:21 PM
Is there data on altcoins held on exchanges? Demand on bitcoin will certainly be not forever. I reckon many investors might begin to speculate that bitcoin has become overvalued and invest on the most popular altcoins.

2020 is the year of the Defi hype hehehe.

If this was the case then it will reflect on Bitcoin's price as of this moment where people will be selling their Bitcoin in exchange for some other coins thus decreasing the value of Bitcoin but the thing is it's not decreasing but rather being pulled out in exchanges. These Bitcoin pulled out have no mentions of them being sold or liquidated which will obviously shown in the price. So maybe it is right to speculate that people see their Bitcoin more valuable right now that's why they are keeping it maybe on their hardware wallets or any type of non-custodial wallet.
708  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on track to 100k according to stock to flow model on: August 04, 2020, 03:06:16 PM
For all we know this might just be coincidental and all and Bitcoin was really headed up in the first place but with the prices the volume not rising the same way as the price right now I don't think we can call this a real break out. I'm impress with how PlanB explained his S2F model but even if he explained it well and he made a convincing price prediction about Bitcoin the model itself has flaws in which is really hard for you to put your whole fortune on. The S2F simply doesn't put into consideration the external factors that could greatly affect Bitcoin's price from laws even the pandemic can affect it as well as the pending recession the whole world will have so really banking in a model where it doesn't include external factors is a hard thing to do.
709  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Putin signed a law on the regulation of cryptocurrencies from 2021 on: August 04, 2020, 02:16:39 PM
Russian individuals and legal entities will be able to challenge transactions with digital currency in court only if they have declared these transactions and the very possession of cryptocurrency in Russia. Officials and a number of other persons who are now not entitled to have accounts (deposits) abroad are also prohibited by the law from having digital currency and digital currency issued in foreign information systems.

Judging with how strict their crypto law is it looks like Putin will just be trying out if their regulations in the new law will work on what they are envisioning which at this point I don't know what is. If the Google translate is right even officials are prohibited as the same way as regular citizens when it comes to ownership of crypto, they can't even hold crypto abroad which is some kind of strict AML procedure which I think was only implemented in their country. Aside from that the law based on the article has no mentions regarding tokens/ICOs as well as mining which the article stated might have separate law/s with both of them.
710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SCAMMING AS AN OPTION/ADVICE TO SCAMMERS on: August 04, 2020, 01:26:15 PM
Scamming may seem more like an option for frustrated persons but the real question is;
*Is it the right option?
*Is it an option your proud of and morally justified?
*Do you feel secured as a scammer?

Simple answer here is no. Anything that requires you to deceive an individual or group of people to obtain their money is never the right thing to do. You are simply taking advantage of their trust of fooling them that they will be earning money from you but at the end it is the other way around and the scammers are the ones who have their pockets full. Scammers should think differently instead of losing hope because of their financial problems think about the people who you will be scamming because not all of them can afford to go back in the life they were having if you will be stealing their money.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 04, 2020, 12:12:09 PM
Football-italia.net reported if Serie-A Season 2020/2021 will be run officially on 19 September 2020 - 23 May 2021. And Transfer season on 1 September till 5 October 2020. Christmas's day off for league will from 23 December 2020 till 2 January 2021.

Additional information from local news: https://sport.detik.com/sepakbola/liga-italia/d-5119386/serie-a-sudah-tetapkan-tanggal-dimulainya-musim-20202021
It is only scheduled start and end time for next season. Fortunately, with very positive results from the fight and prevention against the virus, Italy is a bright nation in the Europe. We know the situation can be changed so fastly with the virus around us.

Any confirmation that the new season will still be happened behind closed door stadiums?

Even if this is a schedule for next season I guess that there is a possibility that this will push through. Remember that last 2 months ago we thought that Serie A resuming the league was all just a hoax and they are just running around in circles about the medicals and what stadiums to play? Well the season continued  and it was the height of the pandemic during that time so I doubt for the upcoming season the pandemic being uncontrolled or not will just be a minor factor for them.
712  Other / Meta / Re: Protecting Your Account on: August 03, 2020, 11:44:25 PM
It was long time since I checked the hide email option but isn't this checked already as a default option when your profile is visited? If it's not then I think it is a goode idea to have hide the email option checked as default so things like this won't happen more often. It seems likein BitcoinGirl.club's case the email he was using was also their business and at the same time the email of his Bitcointalk account. So maybe for people who wanted to be contacted for marketplace purposes I think it's a good idea to use a different email not connected to any accounts so you lessen the risk of this happening.
713  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Invest with friends and family in crypto world on: August 03, 2020, 10:24:37 PM
When we are talking about "pooled funds" or anything related about investments it pretty much requires you to have some kind of license before you can legally operate one, so do you have one? If not I don't think you are ready to start your investment fund as you will be simply running an illegal operation. Plus I don't think they will like the idea that even if there is a "pooled fund" they are still required to do any kind of brainstorming as if there is one than I don't think there money should be in a pooled fund. You should concentrate on one its either you are educating the investors or managing the fund itself.
714  Economy / Economics / Re: Second Stimulus check - What are you going to do with it? on: August 03, 2020, 09:45:11 PM
I think Bernie Sanders said that a 1,200$ payment for each household "won't cut it" for the bills that piled up and the jobs that are lost and he even said 2,000$ monthly should at least be the amount. With that being said depending on the situation of the family I think majority will see that 1,200$ per household is something that they need to be thrifty about and they can't think about investments nor anything about unnecessary expenses since if their jobless they won't have any source of income and the money they are getting is just from the this aid.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone in the Bitcoin ATM business? on: August 03, 2020, 04:13:34 PM
I don't think any real Bitcoin/Crypto ATM users will be able to answer you here in the forum since they are not here. Most Bitcoin ATMs before they are able to operate should need some kind of special license and permit for them to be able to operate I don't even think that single proprietorship is an option here since they will be dealing with assets/securities depending on what classification their country brings to them. Also there is an issue with KYCs that some countries also require before a client will be able to access their Bitcoin ATMs. At least you get a general idea that Bitcoin ATMs are not some kind of franchise you just need to buy in order to start earning there is a lot of process you need to do.
716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: paxful kyc problem on: August 03, 2020, 03:24:07 PM
I won't advise you doing that since even if you use multiple accounts all of this can still be connected to one IP address. Also we don't know how trustworthy Paxful is as we are seeing multiple reports of it from members having their accounts locked or their funds frozen while Paxful is not giving them any kind of reason why. With what you will be doing you might just increased your chance of having your account locked including your funds.
717  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-07-30] Power plants in Iran can mine Bitcoin on: August 03, 2020, 02:20:37 PM
I remember this country where also looking to create a "muslim coin" with other muslim countries (who want to parnter with Iran, not even muslim countries). Look like Iran is more and more looking at cryptocurrencies for alternatives currencies against the dollar supremacy.

Not only this but Iran actually tried to turn their heads in the opposite direction about the crypto industry. From what I know some Chinese miners shifted their operations from China to Iran because they have cheaper electricity which will make them earn more profit. I actually right what they are doing right now since they have seen their cheaper electricity and used it as an advantage for attracting foreign miners to migrate their operations to their country. I doubt though that this will be the end of it as from what I am seeing they have big plans surrounding the crypto industry so it might be more than just mining it.
718  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will touch the high price in 2020? on: August 03, 2020, 12:17:34 PM
I love your optimism here but with the lack of analysis you have backing up your claims I think that you are just assuming things even your assumption in the world markets is wrong as S&P 100 has officially recovered from it's price dump. If you are assuming that the legality of Bitcoin is the only obstacle here for Bitcoin's bull run than think again. Majority of the countries we have are at least accepting cryptocurrencies in their country yet it didn't trigger any kind of bull run so I think legality here is not the catalyst that we are looking for but instead mass adoption or any kind of real type use where a considerable number is using crypto not only in trading but as means of payment.
719  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Thailand issues licenses for 13 digital currency service providers on: August 03, 2020, 11:12:58 AM
Good job for the Thailand government and its royalty. Asian countries are starting to recognize that there's an actual market for cryptocurrencies and if they will keep issuing licenses to those interested companies who wants to operate in their countries.

They should give it a chance as long as they will submit and comply to their regulatory requirements. Having a lot of applications and grants from these digital asset exchanges means that there is a big market circulating in Thailand for cryptocurrencies.

Actually Asian countries are leaning more towards being a crypto friendly country rather than being against it I don't know the specific reason why but countries like Japan, Korea, and China are considered to be developed countries and they have firstly adopted the crypto market this might have triggered an influence over their neighboring Asian countries on doing the same so that they won't be left out in terms of foreign investment. On a side not Thailand is considered to be one of the conservative countries when it comes to investment such as this one so this is really a good news that they accepted the crypto industry.
720  Other / Off-topic / Re: Trump is preparing to ban TikTok on: August 03, 2020, 10:14:07 AM
Look if they have proven that the app of Tik Tok is spying on their users I think they have the right to ban it because first of all it is violating the privacy of its citizens and it is one of their first rights being a citizen, if the government doesn't act properly then they are basically not interested in protecting their rights. This is really not about the protection of their economy or the internet being regulated but the protection of their rights. And also I'm still wondering why these app stores like Apple and Google are still keeping Tik Tok available for download even if they have proven it spying to their users.
That is the most decent move that they can do, if the app does not properly and explicitly displays that they are taking data of individual users means that they are breaching the privacy, the case is similar to Facebook and other social media platforms but they atleast have the decency of making sure that the user is aware that they are collecting their data.

And also I'm still wondering why people are siding with a spyware app even if it is proven doing it, I guess still a lot of clout chasers will be affected in the US if the app was totally banned. But judging from the news I have been seeing there might be a chance that Tik Tok might not be banned in the US at all since their owner is interested in selling the US "portion" of their app/content to a foreign owner and Microsoft is the one strongly pursuing its acquisition, I think in this way both sides will have a win-win scenario removing any kind of doubt that the app will be spying in their citizens again.
