741  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade only Bitcoin on: September 29, 2023, 04:26:36 AM
Pretty much. Most alts are ponzi schemes because there are not enough people believe in these projects. So when an alt pumps to a ridiculous price, it dumps even harder because the whale that holds a big stake in the project dumps everything he has. They do that because they don’t believe in the future of the project. Bitcoin is not like that obviously. Since bitcoin is the first and the original cryptocurrency, even if some people dumps it, there will always be a strong support on the buying side. That doesn’t mean all alts are trash though. Some of them pretty decent but i still don’t see a reason to waste time on them.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies should gain broader payment gateway acceptance soon? on: September 28, 2023, 07:02:30 PM
I don't know of other I have some specific coin that would be widely used such as Litecoin (LTC) and Tron (TRX) I think they are more flexible in terms of high fees reduction and quick confirmation. For litecoin and tron there is no crypto casino or gambling site you wouldn't find them this is to show a strong support and reliability for this two coin. I have actually thought of ETH but sometime it's too expensive to be affordable especially when client or a marchant desires to pay a very little amount of it and it's fee could be more higher than what you bought by then they finds its difficult to start using it as a payment gateway.

ETH has a great reputation but sadly it’s expensive af to use just like you said. Litecoin, tron are fine but you missed dogecoin. (DOGE) Doge is as cheap and fast as ltc. (Probably cheaper) It is not as widely adopted as ltc but I think it is better than tron in this area. I thought eth was going to solve its fee problem when it went full PoS but here we are.  Nothing has improved. Tron is also good because I use it when I withdraw USDT from binance and tron chain offers the lowest withdrawal fees.
743  Economy / Economics / Re: marry rich: marry fiat rich or crypto rich, which is better? on: September 28, 2023, 06:56:37 PM
Neither. Marry real state rich. No matter how much you have in other assets, the money eventually flows into real estate. That means real state rich people have the real wealth. Land, housing and commercial properties… all of them are fine. Real estate too take some hits sometimes but it always recovers because people always need a physical space to live. FIAT is not even an alternative because it gets eaten away by the inflation. Being FIAT rich is not a good thing. You need to be asset-rich.
744  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe Technical Analysis? on: September 28, 2023, 05:31:00 PM
I do inspect charts sometimes but I never make my decisions solely based on TA. Fundamental Analysis affect my decisions way more than TA. If the fundamentals are not looking good then studying the charts has little or no meaning. Making decisions only based on TA is not a good way to make trades. You might make lots of bad trades that way and making bad trades mean losing money. If you are going to do TA, at least keep it simple. Moving averages and one or two more indicators are enough. You don’t need to know or use every other new indicator out there.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Has Changed My Life 👨‍💻 on: September 28, 2023, 04:08:37 AM
If you think trading and gambling have no common qualities then you don’t know a thing. Your logic is way flawed. According to you, a gambler that played dice and made $80 may also say playing dice isn’t gambling since he made $80. He made money how could it be gambling? You turned your $100 into $180, that’s a 80% profit which is quite nice however do you think you can keep doing this forever? Do you think watching the markets will always give you a clue to do the right trade? Anyway, come back a year later and inform us about your winnings, it is too early to decide on anything.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card gambling fuels gambling addiction on: September 27, 2023, 04:35:54 AM
Credit cards fuel every kind of purchasing addiction out there. Women buy make-up products, men buy more home depot stuff, kids buy more junk food, alcoholics buy more booze, investors buy more stocks and finally gamblers buy more game chips. We can’t really do about it since credit cards a part of the financial system. The good thing is, the interest rates are so high right now, it doesn’t make any sense to borrow money unless you are very desperate. In this environment, borrowing money is a quick way to get poor or worse, bankrupt.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Education. on: September 27, 2023, 04:30:09 AM
That’s a very good idea. However this education shouldn’t happen in schools because when you talk about gambling in schools, some kids will get attracted instead of getting educated. It may backfire big time. If we give this education to the adults then there is another problem. Most adults already have made up their minds about gambling so giving them a speech about gambling won’t really change their views on the subject. This idea is a sword that cuts both ways. It looks good on paper and not much in reality.
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is it to keep your bitcoin investments secret from others ? on: September 25, 2023, 07:02:22 PM
Not only crypto, you shouldn’t be talking about any of your investments under any circumstances. Don’t tell your friends, family members, your boss, coworkers about it. They don’t need to know your finances. If you make money they will get jealous. If you lose money, they will be happy. Either way they will find a way to make you unhappy. So why do it? Keep it to yourself. You’ll be doing yourself a favor not telling them trust me. Sometimes you might even get robbed because the word is out: “This guy is filthy rich!” There is no way this can bring any good on you. The more attention you gather on yourself, the worse it will be.
749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Potential events that can initiate next bitcoin rally on: September 25, 2023, 05:08:30 AM
I don’t really think regulation is a good thing for bitcoin. Bitcoin is a lot better without regulation. If they regulate it, we will have follow every new regulation when trading or using btc. Btc will become a government asset and it will be very unprofitable for every bitcoiner. I know it from experience, governments make everything worse. The less government there is, the better for the people. Governments make complex laws which confuse people. See the American tax code, it is almost impossible to follow. They filled every loophole to catch tax evaders and they ended up with this abomination. The same thing will happen to btc.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: September 25, 2023, 05:00:10 AM
Just don’t deposit more than you are comfortable with losing. Let’s say you deposited $100 on a casino, you should forget about that money because one way or another you will probably lose that money. 95 out of 100 times, you will lose it playing but sometimes other unlucky stuff happen too. The casino may demand KYC on you, your acc may get hacked (small chance if you got 2FA) but the worst of all, the whole casino may get hacked and then even 2FA won’t save you. So don’t feel too cocky just because you enabled 2FA on your account. A site-wide hack is still possible. Now read the first sentence of my post and it will make more sense.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: September 24, 2023, 01:43:05 PM
Everyone stay away from gambling game then you all will be happy and happy Gambling game is very bad which will harm your family a lot and will also harm your life like my father gambling ruined my father's life and also my future is dark now I am now  I came back to this bitcoin to find light in my life in this darkness you all help me shine.

Gambling is as bad as drinking and smoking. Do enough of these you will also ruin yourself. We can’t avoid every harmful habit out there because sometimes harmful&dangerous is fun. Driving high speed is dangerous too but probably every male driver did it at least once in their life time. I was fishing on the dock earlier in the day and some old fuckfaced lady came by and buzzed into my ear: “you can’t fish here it is forbidden.” Thank you mother fucking party pooper I was just about to leave anyway. Even though she was right (There were people swimming in the sea but they weren’t near), I was doing it for a reason because it was more fun to do it there. That said, Bitcoin is the only way moving forward.
752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: chart reading and prediction on: September 24, 2023, 01:32:41 PM
everyone on twitter, insta reel and youtube is making prediction related to different cryptos based on chart lines. Do you still believe these chart reading?

No. Chart reading is basically fortune telling. What you guessed may or may not happen in the future. Nobody can know it. If it was possible to make educated guesses by looking at charts, everyone would do it and everyone would become rich. Do you know a trader who is making 100% right guesses? Of course no. There are some people that make more good guesses but give enough time they will become losers too. (Assuming that they are making their guesses only by looking at charts) The truth is, successful traders use lots of other information too. They follow the news and sometimes they get insider information. Charts don’t tell you all that.
753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Satoshi have known? on: September 24, 2023, 04:34:12 AM
Satoshi predicted all of this probably. What happened to bitcoin isn’t a surprise. When there is money to be made, it will be made, till it can’t be made. People saw a promising project with a small market cap (that’s btc) and hoarded it just like hoarding a penny stock with a promising future. People didn’t do anything wrong since they made lots of money doing it. On the other hand there are lots of people that use bitcoin to sell and buy stuff too. Not everybody is an investor or a trader. One can use bitcoin without having to invest in it. All you need is a btc wallet.
754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the SEC approve BTC ETF in the coming 23 days? on: September 23, 2023, 05:31:59 PM
I don’t think so. Tbh I am not sure what they are waiting for. They don’t say “yes” and they don’t say “no” too.  Maybe they are waiting for a big price drop so they can buy the dip and then approve the etf. That makes some sense. It is probably better to stop thinking about it at this point. We don’t even know if this etf will affect bitcoin in a positive way. The prices will jump in the short term that’s for sure but what about the long term? I don’t want bitcoin to be a boring boomer asset like gold.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 23, 2023, 04:11:17 AM
Most of the time it is greed. Women are not much different than men. They can be as stupid and as greedy as us. I have seen women that went bankrupt before. It is not as rare as you think. Some of them are addicted to alcohol or/and smoking too. Sometimes they just look for something to pass the time though. Maybe some of those women have problems at work or have problems with their husbands so they may want to get away from everything and suddenly gambling looks like an attractive play.
756  Economy / Economics / Re: Small Scale Business Ideas on: September 22, 2023, 03:03:41 PM
On this board I often see a lot of discussions related to investment and finance which tend to be large scale. However, to start investing we need capital. How do you find capital for investment?

Finding capital is a tricky subject. You have a few options here.

1- Borrow money from banks
2- Get a job and save money
3- Inheritance (have a rich family)

You should have taken advantage of the low interest rates but now that time is long gone so borrowing is not really an option anymore.

Getting a job (or freelancing) is the only way now and unless you are skilled in something, you won’t go too far there.

Let's talk about small scale businesses that have low risks and promising profits so that we can have capital to invest and become passive income in the future.

Building passive income is easy if you have the capital. Bonds, dividends and real estate… There isn’t really any other real option there.

Do you have a small business idea? or business experience? I want to hear it

It seems to me you don’t really know what you want. Do you want to start a business or do you want to build a portfolio that brings passive income? Do you have any capital, do you have any education?

What do you want to learn from us exactly? Do you want us to tell you our business secrets?

You didn’t give us any information about you so we could work with it.
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin miners energy usage has exceeded 50%, where is Elon? on: September 22, 2023, 04:18:13 AM
Fuck this cunt. Bitcoin don’t need Elon’s money. Elon needs bitcoin. He may not need it now but when the whole world adopts it, he won’t have a choice. However, Elon is not dumb too. He will probably buy btc before the mass adoption happens. Actually he probably already has thousands of coins in his personal stash and since he doesn’t have to declare it to the public, we will never know the truth. One way or another, Elon is pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things. If he wants to get piece from the action that’s fine but if he doesn’t, he may duck right off.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How did Ripple (XRP) become so popular and blow up in price? on: September 21, 2023, 05:10:54 PM
Ripple is probably a government trojan horse. I’ve been following ripple for years and ripple is almost always in the CMC’s top 10 list. Everybody knows ripple is premined, everybody knows its marketcap has no meaning but somehow nobody talks about it. Ripple is not even a crypto. It is just a premined illegal security. I guess People don’t give a damn about it as long as they can trade it on a crypto exchange and I also stopped caring… I never touched it and never will. There are far greater projects out there. Ripple is a scam.
759  Economy / Economics / Re: If They Can Pay off their Debts, Why Don't They? on: September 21, 2023, 05:01:34 AM
They can’t actually. There are two ways of paying debts.

1- Produce more, sell (export) more, then pay your debts.
2- Print money, pay

I am not sure about Japan but every other country in your list is printing money instead of producing more. Japan is (or used to be) the only country there which export more than what they import.

The truth is, They are losing their jobs to China. China produces, they print and buy China’s stuff. China is making money, they are making debt.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone notice this pattern? on: September 20, 2023, 04:21:27 PM
You are basically doing TA without using charts. The problem with TA is that it may never replicate the past events. It is like playing coin flipping. Just because you got tails 99 times in a row, doesn’t mean that it will be tails again in the 100th game. On the other hand we also know that history doesn’t always repeat but it often rhymes. Maybe this time there will be another ATH but it won’t happen in 1.5 years… maybe this time it will take 3 years… The real question is, what will you do if there isn’t a new ath for the next 3 years? Will you give up and sell or will you hodl?  TA is like writing a story book and then actually believing that it is real.
