781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Missed Meme coins? then its time for $OPIUM on: October 19, 2023, 02:46:04 AM
Their motto is already a red flag. "The Exclusive Gateway to your Financial Freedom." So are you saying that if we invest into this shitcoin, we will achieve financial freedom?
I'm not a website developer, or at least an expert to it, but I can create that website even though I'm just a newbie. That's how awful the website is.

As for the project as a whole, I already seen a newbie promoting this shitcoin already. Did both of you used OPIUM before posting it here? Kidding aside, to all newbies out there, avoid this project, and better look for those top projects already if you want to be safer.
782  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can the government acquire all bitcoins either by seizure or purchase? on: October 19, 2023, 02:10:28 AM
Yes this can happen if everyone holding Bitcoin decide that they would sell to the government then that is the only way the government can acquire all the whole Bitcoin
Bitcoin is decentralized so the government can order people to give them their Bitcoin that why some people choose crypto-currency over the traditional financial where the government can freeze someone account which is super unfair.
The million-dollar question is that, how realistic this scenario can happen? Do you think that this can happen? Do you think that everyone will really sell their Bitcoin to the government?

Technically speaking, yes they can sell it to the government, but realistically speaking, no it is almost impossible knowing that not all Bitcoin holders are willing to sell their Bitcoin especially with the government. This kind of scenario are kind of impossible to happen - unless people around the world will really sell, but what are the chances of it to happen? 0%.

The government can't acquire something that they didn't create at first place, and that is Bitcoins, so it's impossible. I can't imagine these authorities interviewing every single person around the world asking if they are holding Bitcoins, and if they are, they will sell it to them. Cheesy Kind of funny TBH.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 18, 2023, 02:17:57 AM

The Bulls lost against the Nuggets, and the difference was pretty noticeable. Of course, I also should mention that this was a preseason game. So probably we should not think much about it. The next preseason match for them is against the Raptors, n it is ongoing now. to be honest, I am not very much excited about these preseason matches. I will actually give my time to watch some games after the season starts.

Thanks for this very useful information. I'm not sure how I could have continued my life without it.  Roll Eyes

Seriously, stop spamming.
Who even needs posts like this?
We all want to get paid for posting, but I am sick of reading bs like your post here. This has 0 merit and is straight up spam.
And thanks for "mentioning" it's the preseason, who would have thought, smh.
I don't usually give merits in this thread knowing that posts like this are very common (I might've did some nonsense posts here in the past), but making me laugh deserves a merit. Wink

In real news, the Rockets traded Kevin Porter Jr. and two second-round picks for Victor Oladipo and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl from the Thunder. And OKC immediately waived Porter Jr right after. He is dooooone.
Sad to see how people that have everything can throw it way so easy.  Cry
Being waived isn't the same as being banned from the NBA.

This is almost the same situation as Miles Bridges. Domestic violence, got banned for a year, and now he's coming banned (though not at the start of the regular season). For KPJ's case, he just got traded, then waived, but isn't banned in the league, so basically other teams can still get him... or not knowing that the league isn't tolerating this kind of violence against women. I don't think that he will come back at least this season. Next season maybe? Well, the GM of the Rockets said though that he's already banned "FROM THE ROCKETS" only.

Nevertheless, he's one of the players by the Rockets that's developing, but one mistake changed everything. It's sad to see yes, but I think it's the correct decision, or the reputation of the league will be affected negatively.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give Bitcoin investment time on: October 18, 2023, 12:36:03 AM
~
While educating people about Bitcoin, I think it is wise we tell them Bitcoin need time to yield profit, let us change our approach in sharing Bitcoin knowledge so that people will not come into Bitcoin with the mindset of get-rich-quick.
That's what volatility can change someone's thinking on Bitcoin.

They think like "Ohhh Bitcoin's volatile therefore, I can get more profits in a shorter amount of time because price can increase immediately, and anytime." While this is true and it really happens (like what happened a few days ago when a fake news about Blackrock's Spot ETF getting accepted already), if you really want to maximize your profits, waiting for a longer time, or selling during the bull run is the way to go. Don't expect that if you invest today, a few weeks from now you will double your money. Is it possible though? Yes, but not on Bitcoin, and what are the chances for it to happen? Low to very low.

To all investors out there, unless you're a trader then give your investment some time to grow. Bitcoin isn't like a quick rich project like other companies out there are offering (obviously a scam). For those who are sharing knowledge with regards to Bitcoin to other people, I guess telling from the get-go that it isn't a quick rich scheme would be a good idea to lower their expectations. Capital appreciation takes time whether it would be stocks, bonds, or even in crypto.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife. on: October 17, 2023, 11:26:12 PM
~
Have any of you managed to teach your wife Bitcoin? Have any of you gifted bitcoin to a wife like me?
No, but I introduced it to her already, and if she wants to invest into Bitcoin, she has her own money. She can use that to buy Bitcoins.

TBH, I don't see any interest in her with regards to Bitcoins. Hard truth yes, but I don't want to push her into something that she doesn't want to in the first place. I guess what's important is that she knows the term Bitcoin, and at least some of the basics of it like how the price moves, how to send, and receive etc. As to me gifting my Bitcoin to her, I don't need to because if time comes that we will be married together, what's mine is also hers already, and that includes all of my assets including my Bitcoins. I don't need to gift it to because it will also be hers by the time we are married already.

You gifting your Bitcoins to your wife is kind of irrelevant for me because if you will look at it, the Bitcoin that you gave to her will technically be yours since there's a term called "conjugal property". Correct me though.
786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am 19 years old boy living in South korea. Please give me an advice on: October 17, 2023, 10:50:01 PM
After graduating high school, I saw bitcoin on youtube. At that time, it was about 60,000 dollar.
I had some research about Bitcoin. I specially watched videos of Michael Saylor. For me, he sounded very logical.
I checked the price, and I could see that Bitcoin is up 45950334.26% since 2009. I thought I am very late to start invest to Bitcoin, but many people said it is early. So.. I am really confused.
The term "late" and "early" are kind of subjective, and not applicable to all especially for you.

You said that you're 19 years old currently. Just calculating, you were born in 2004. Bitcoin was created in 2008, and you said the year 2009. Nevertheless, at 5 years old, do you think you already have everything that you need to invest? At 5 years old, is your brain thinking that you need to invest already? No. What you think at that time is playing, studying, playing, studying, and never investing, so don't say that you're late because by the time Bitcoin was created, you aren't ready at first place to invest into it.

I just started investing... or I should say holding Bitcoin in 2017. Can I consider myself late then because I didn't see Bitcoin's price reaching $100, or $500, or even $1000? No because I don't even know anything about investing at that time. That's why the term late and early in crypto is subjective because of different factors. I don't consider myself late in investing into Bitcoin even though it has been existing for around 8-9 years at that time when I was starting. Being late or early don't matter. What matters is if you start investing or not consistently.

I receive about $100 a month from my dad. I am planning to use them to buy some bitcoin.
Please give me an advice to be successful Bitcoin investor in the future.

You want to be a successful Bitcoin investor? You have 2 choices, but it all depends on you.
First, be a trader. High risk, high reward. More profit for you in a short amount of time. Second, be an investor/holder. Low risk, low reward. This is more applicable for you TBH because you said you're only 19 right. The time horizon for you is very long. You can buy, and sell Bitcoin for decades, and can earn enough for you. Anyway, do some research first before investing, so you will not be overwhelmed. Smiley
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardwork pays not luck! on: October 17, 2023, 10:25:11 PM
~
Just to iterate, working as a bounty hunter or trading in cryptocurrency was never my primary source. Still, I am working in a tech company and getting monthly salaries.
Well, it's good that you don't treat bounty campaigns as your primary job because there are some here who are spending their time sharing tweets in Twitter, or in Facebook then post it here, and in the end, they will earn a few bucks. A few bucks worth of their weeks of time promoting that project. Not worth it TBH. I guess you're lucky enough at this moment to earn enough money that it surpassed your projected 10-year salary in your primary job.

You said that you need to work hard, and with dedication. For me, working hard alone is useless if you aren't smart. I know working hard is good, but working hard, and smart is better. Just imagine you working hard for 8 hours a day only to earn a minimum daily wage compare to a person who is working only a few hours a day in front of his computer, and earning way higher than the minimum daily wage. Sometimes in life, working alone isn't good enough for you to be efficient in life. Working hard "AND" smart would lead you to a successful life. LUCK?? Forget about it. Smiley

Hard work still pays but not every time. For example, if you have a destiny to be rich, that is luck.
Destiny?  Cheesy Cheesy
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which old coin do you prefer? Litecoin or Dogecoin? on: October 17, 2023, 02:24:50 PM
DOGE, and I will DOGE until the very end of my life - like the named "DOGECOIN Millionaire" is. Cheesy

Kidding aside, I don't know the exact reason, but I prefer DOGE more than LTC. Maybe because of the transaction speed? Maybe because of it's popularity? Maybe because of the fact that it's fees are lower than that of LTC. Overall, I don't see any reason why I'd choose Litecoin over DOGE. Wait, I already have a reason. It's because Elon Musk will add it into his platform X, and might be used for tipping those people. Well, that's the main use case of DOGE from the start so... yeah. Cheesy. As for Litecoin, there are no significant news regarding the project anymore, but that doesn't mean that the project is dead already.

Overall, both of them will pump during the bull run, so I guess holding both of them, then sell during the bull run isn't a bad idea, eh? Smiley
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why meme coins are trending? on: October 17, 2023, 02:00:44 PM
Today, my narrative takes an exhilarating turn with the introduction of the $Opium meme token. This latest addition to my crypto portfolio radiates innovation and promises to inject fresh life into the meme coin universe. Just as with $PEPE, $CAL, and $SAFERUM, $Opium is not merely a senseless creation; it realize the spirit of a movement, a community-driven endeavor with untapped potential.

Now, I'm on a new adventure with the $Opium meme token. It's the latest coin I added to my crypto collection, and it's looking like it could be the next big thing in the world of meme coins. Just like with $PEPE, $CAL, and $SAFERUM, I see potential in $Opium that goes beyond just being a joke.
Your money, your decision. Don't drag us with your investment, and talk like you are attracting newbies to invest into this shitty token that you're promoting indirectly. I know PEPE since it became popular, but CAL? SAFERUM? What are those coins, and what are the use cases of that shitcoin?

Well, I don't want to say that this OPIUM token is a scam, but just looking at the name of the token alone, and the fact that it's a meme coin is already a red flag for me, and I just hope that newbies will not try to invest money into this type of project.

Meme tokens started as funny internet stuff, but they are turning into serious business with real communities behind them. $Opium, with its cool idea and excited supporters, seems like it's going to be a standout meme token. It's more than just a joke; it's a movement.
It is still a funny stuff, and developers are making it way funnier by creating these shitcoins, that are just being created to scam people. It would be the same with the project that you're promoting. Cool Idea? Care to share what's the use case of it? What's the idea behind the project? What's the benefit of the people who are using it?

Standout meme token? Did you take your medicine already? Because you're kind of lost right now OP. It's not a joke, but a movement? Like those people who are protesting outside then? Good Luck with it I guess, but I hope newbies will not invest into this type of shitty project.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is this? on: October 16, 2023, 07:30:36 AM
There's a famous quote, and it states that "A project can't be called a scam until it will be one." Well, this might not be applicable to all projects, but we can't say that a project is a scam until it will not scam others. I know, I know that there might be some who will be against me, but I don't want to judge things very early. I'm not saying that the project is a scam though, but at the same time, I don't want to say that it doesn't because... who knows.

I mean I still remember when the term NFT has been called a scam at first because it's a new concept. This project isn't a new concept though because it's all about DAPPs base on their website. Nevertheless, we investors always have this kind of thinking that whenever we see a new crypto project, we always think that it's a scam even though we don't have any evidences to support it.

Overall, there are many better projects out there OP that's already established. It would be better for you to put your money there.
791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 16k DOLLARS LOSS IN JUST 1 YEAR on: October 16, 2023, 06:49:11 AM
~
Kindly share your experience that I m doing a loss you are also a part of my problem so that I want to khow where I done mistake.

Well, you are a trainee you said, and you invested that amount of money? I don't want to say that you're insane, but for me, you really are. Just imagine losing that huge amount in just a short amount of time? That's ridiculous TBH.

Where did you make a mistake? I will tell 2 reasons that I think it is.
1. You invested a very large amount of money when in fact you are just starting. What is your monthly salary if I may ask OP? Newbies tend to lose money at the start of their trading journey. Well, it's understandable that you lose money since you stated that you're a newbie, but to lose that amount when you're just starting? Like I always say, "Experience really is very expensive."

2. You let your emotion decide for your trade, and because of that, you made wrong a wrong decision. You bought a coin that's pumped up in price already, and you hope that it will pump even more. I know that because I also experienced the same thing that you experienced when I was a newbie. I also bought a coin that's price has been pumped already because I think that I can get short term profits on it. Ending? I lost more than half of my money because of that decision. I let my emotion decide for my trade, and that's your problem as well.

I guess you need to lose a huge amount of money to learn something from trading. I don't want to say that you need to continue trading especially after losing that amount, but if you really want to continue trading despite what happened then it's up to you already. Good luck with your life, and I hope you will recover from these losses that you incur.
792  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is a 20% Annual Return good ? on: October 16, 2023, 06:19:12 AM
With my experience in the cryptocurrency market, I decided to develop a short-term Bitcoin spot trading strategy using the TradingView platform and its strategy programming tool. I managed to create a strategy that yields an average annual return of 20% according to backtesting. My question is, is this return acceptable, or in your opinion, what would be an acceptable or good return?
Banks only give a little less than a percent in interest. The Stock Market is giving an average of 8% per year. Bonds give lower return.
Tell me you are sarcastic without telling me your sarcastic. Are you sure you asking if this return is acceptable or not?

Well, it's acceptable since 20% return is considered not just high, but very high already. Now the question is, how consistent you are in doing that. Do you think that you can get 20% annually? TBH, in crypto, there is a way to get that return just by doing basically nothing, and that is thru staking. Both trading, and staking have risks. The only difference is that, you don't need to read charts in staking. Just stake your coins, and wait for it to multiply. There are only a few coins that gives at least 20% though, and most of them are low market cap ones. DOT gives at around 14% annually, ATOM gives ~20%, and most of them are coins that I don't even know.

Overall, 20% return is good already, but it will all comes to how consistent you are in getting that return. I guess good luck with your trading journey, and I hope that you will become a successful trader.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first Bitcoin on: October 16, 2023, 03:09:01 AM
~
How about you guys, did you earn your first Bitcoin through services here on this forum? Are you mining or you bought it as well? Which crypto came to you first, is it Bitcoin or Altcoins? What are your Bitcoin source at the moment if you don't mind me asking?
Yep. I earned my first Bitcoins here, but not on a signature campaign though. It was on an altcoin bounty campaign where I tried to apply as a translator of their ANN, and bounty thread on our local page. To cut the story short, I got paid thru their native tokens, that token got listed on an exchange, and luckily I manage to sell all of them for Bitcoins, bought a smartphone after that, and then a computer, then some assets as well. That's the first time that I earned Bitcoin.

After that, I tried to invest I think $10 coming from my own pocket, and bought Bitcoin. That was my first, and last money that I used that came out of my wallet, and invested into Bitcoin. All of the money that I used to buy the assets I'm currently holding came from signature campaigns, and dividends from the coins as well since I'm holding staking coins.

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency that has been introduced to me, so I focused solely on Bitcoins when I was starting then over the years, did research some of the top altcoins, invested on some of them, and now I'm currently holding some as well. My Bitcoin source, was of course the signature campaign (no need to hide it as it's pretty obvious), also a portion of my income in my job is being invested as well, but on Bitcoin only, but on different assets as well.
794  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin In Bullish or Bearish Trend? on: October 16, 2023, 02:34:00 AM
~
So, what is your perspective: Do you believe we are currently in a bear market, or is this merely a manipulation to discourage some individuals from Bitcoin?

I'd say we're out of the bear market already, but I don't see a manipulation on what's happening currently in the market. Do you still believe in market manipulation OP? In some altcoins, whales have the power to manipulate the price because of it's low volume, but to manipulate the price of Bitcoin? It's 2023 already, and do you still believe that whales can manipulate the price of Bitcoin knowing how much it's market cap is currently?

Right now, I would say that we are in the accumulation phase. We are out of the bear market already IMO, and now we are in a moment where investors are starting accumulate Bitcoin bit by bit in preparation for the upcoming bull run. When it will happen? I don't know, but I believe it will happen 2nd half of 2024, or maybe at the start of 2025.

Bull or bear, I guess it doesn't matter as long as you have a strategy in both scenarios. Having a strategy or plan during either a bull market, or bear market will help you gain profits one way or another, but to answer you, I would say neither of the 2.
795  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is doubling your investment more probable than we think? on: October 16, 2023, 01:13:17 AM
I respect your opinion since we have the freedom to share it here. However, I will share my opinion base on what you said.

With halving less than a year from now, the majority of us are speculating a major increase in price and possibly the start of another bull market after 4 years. Some are expecting to surpass the previous ATH of almost $70,000 and possibly reach $100,000. Although this scenario sounds great and all, I'm not quite confident that it'll happen in the upcoming year or so. The current economic condition in the world isn't too promising and, in my opinion, will set back investments in general, including bonds and the stock market. I hope I'm proven wrong, though.
Many might be expecting for it to happen, but with the halving expected to happen in April of 2024, I expect that we will start to experience major price increase at least 5 months or even more after the event, so I only expect that price increase will happen at around the 2nd half of the year. With what you said regarding economic condition, remember the pandemic in 2020? Are our economic condition good at that time? 2020 and 2021 are considered the worst years for many because of lockdowns, the virus being spread etc. but look at what the market did at that time. So I don't buy the "economic condition isn't promising" thing because the market increased in 2020 and 2021 even though we are at the considered the worst time.

However, I tend to have a more pessimistic and down-to-earth approach to this matter. Bitcoin's current price is ranging from $27,000 to $28,000 as we speak, while we will also occasionally see it as low as $25,000. With that being said, in my opinion, sometime after the halving, the scenario of Bitcoin surpassing $50,000 doesn't sound too impossible to me. Thus, if we suppose that someone purchases Bitcoin now, approximately within a year, he or she may be capable of doubling their initial investment.
Well, that's true knowing that in the past, Bitcoin's price tends to increase a few months after the halving. On the other hand, I still believe in the fact that what happened in the past might not happened in the future. You might be true that Bitcoin reaching $50,000 is possible, and we have a different approach to Bitcoin. I've seen it it twice. Bitcoin halving - wait for a few months - Bitcoin starts to increase - start of bull run however, I might be wrong though, and we might see the unexpected. Cheesy

I know that these are all pure assumptions, but instead of speculating massive ATH and 3x or 4x returns, which are way too common in the forum, why not expect something that is more probable to happen in the near future? And to be honest, doubling your investment is a great yield that cannot easily be found in other forms of investment.
No worries. We are all making assumptions all our lives when it comes to crypto (or it's only me). We are all speculating all the time even though we aren't analysts. Smiley
796  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before and after bull run. on: October 15, 2023, 05:18:43 PM

Keep in touch with your family and friends before and after bull run, the happiness of profit can also drive one crazy which can make one do something unreasonable such as getting drunk, driving recklessly and many more.  To those who will see this thread, please keep this words in mind.
Not only before, and after the bull run, but every day. We need to keep in touch in our family members especially when it comes to investment. I don't know if it's good for me, but I don't have any close relative that's involved into crypto as of this moment though I know some of my relatives who are into investment, they aren't that close to me.

Anyway, it would be better to just teach them what can happen during a bull run, and a bear run as well so that they will not commit heinous crimes, or do anything bad because their investment is down by a huge percentage. I've heard some news regarding investors who are unfortunately committing suicide because of their wrong decisions. A quick google search can give you many articles regarding them.

Like what others said already, thanks for sharing your advice. This might help 1 or 2 users here, and change them in a positive way.
797  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help this time with a personal situation on: October 15, 2023, 04:57:53 PM
Hello, I live in Cuba and I am 28 years old, a few days ago I made a post asking for advice on cloud mining, I see that it is a scam no matter how you look at it, so here my monthly salary is about 3,500 Cuban pesos, which is equivalent to 12 dollars approximately, therefore I would like someone to please advise me on a page where I could work without investments, such as a faucet that is worth it or something that allows me to generate $2 a day because per month it would be almost $60 and as you can see that exceeds by far my salary in my country and it would help me a lot. THANKS FROM THE HEART TO EVERYONE WHO HAVE RESPONDED TO ME PREVIOUSLY

You only earn $12 in a month? I'm curious what your job is, but I think the amount is very small and if you already have a wife and children it will definitely be difficult to survive. Maybe you need to look for a better job considering you are already 28 years old

There is a signature campaign on this forum and I get paid $1 for each post. Not much but not bad either. But for higher ranks, they will be paid more. I don't expect you to be here just to make money as this is a discussion forum. If you have the ability, maybe you can start as a freelancer. I once joined several freelancer sites but am now retired because I am busy working offline.

I work as a doctor or I used to, not anymore but the salary, as you can see, is very little, plus we don't even have the basic medications to even provide good care and with such a bad working condition in my work sphere I won't work because it's in my hands. I have lives, not cars or objects, they are people, so that you have a reference, a dozen eggs costs 8 or 9$ so it is impossible to live like that and first I would need to generate some amount of money to then be able to invest it in something online, well not even Not even my money can be used on the internet, they only really let us enter dollars, you can imagine why.... interests
I did a quick research on how much is the monthly salary in Cuba, an what came up in Google is ~$150. A few dollars lower than our minimum salary, but the price of a dozen of eggs in your country - or I should say in your place is around 8-9$ you said. 4x higher than our price of a dozen eggs here.

I mean you worked as a doctor you said. Why you didn't pursue your profession as a doctor? TBH, I'm a bit curious. I don't want to generalize all, but what I know is that, doctors always had a high salary. Anyway, are you an expert doctor? You have 2 choices. Continue your profession, and work in an hospital, or be an online doctor. You have license right? Use your profession to earn money, and don't expect too much on faucets. Find a way to use it. Maximize your time, and don't use it on faucets.

I just hope that you will not do what most of the newbies are doing here - joining bounty campaigns. :X
798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 15, 2023, 04:07:28 PM
I know it's only preseason but I will be the first to admit I might be wrong about wemby.  Dude is a monster.  I thought he might not he strong enough to hang inside in the NBA and think I'm wrong after watching a couple of preseason games.  Now I know the regular season is very different he looks like he has the goods to hold up.  Hope the kid stays injury free to see how good he can get.  That's the worry with these big guys
Look at Giannis when he entered the NBA compared to now. If Wemby can bulk up a bit over the next year or 2, he is going to be a force to be reckoned with. He's already being compared to the likes of KD and as we all know KD is pretty good.

Kid is killing it in the preseason, can't wait to see how his 1st year goes.
Some already saying that Wembanyama is already an upgraded version of Durant because of how good he can handle the ball, and his skills knowing that he's a 7-footer big.

TBH, I underestimated him at first when he's still a skinny guy, but as soon as he got drafted, he built muscle, gained some weight, and now he's can bully ball any defender inside the paint - just like Giannis is doing. We are already seeing the league being dominated by centers. In the last 2-3 years, look on who's the top candidates for MVP. Embiid got it last year, Jokic got it for 2 consecutive years, and now we are seeing centers like Wemby, and let's add Chet in the conversation as well because IMO, he's the rookie that can match up Wemby, and we've seen a glimpse of it already when they faced each other in pre-season.

Nevertheless, I believe that this year, big players will dominate just like what's happening for the last few years.

you wouldn't like to hear this, but the one buying assets now are the wealthy, they will likely continue the trend of the rich getting richer
I don't know, but reading this part give me a chilling effect. I mean some kind of a different feeling. Cheesy Kind of weird TBH, but can I say then that I'm wealthy since I'm buying assets then?

In general, emotions are a hindrance towards your better decisions. Letting your emotion decide means trouble, and lost opportunities. You might see an opportunity to buy Bitcoin at below $20,000, but you choose not to because your afraid. Now you lost the opportunity to double your money in just a few months. Being afraid will not benefit you. Risking some of your money sometimes is good especially if you believe that it's a good investment. Bitcoin is a good long term investment, and many think it is. Risking a few dollars investing into it isn't a bad idea. Why letting your feat of losing money get you?

_ Stick to Bitcoin: it's the real deal. Don't gamble on other cryptos
I disagree. I support Bitcoin, but that doesn't mean that you need to disregards other cryptos as well. I'm not a fan of those low market cap coins, shitcoins, meme coins etc., but I still believe that there are still good altcoins out there who can do things that you can't see on Bitcoin. Can we include Ethereum on the list? Cheesy

_ Avoid trading altcoin: you are not a genius trader, you will eventually get burned.
Whether it's altcoins, or Bitcoins, if you aren't that good in trading, avoid trading in general. Don't specify altcoins only because you can still get burned even you trade Bitcoins.

_ Never trust price prediction: no one has a crystal ball.
I want to say "F*CK THEM ALL" to them, but I realize I'm also making price predictions as well. Well, I agree with on this one. Price prediction is just a speculation, and there's a 50/50 chance that it will happen.

_ DCA into Bitcoin, emotions aside, No need to time this market.
Like I said, I know that you're a big fan of Bitcoin, but include some altcoins as well. Smiley DCA into Bitcoin is always a good choice, and it's the top priority, but don't exclude altcoins in your list. Smiley Never, ever ever.

_ share Bitcoin cautiously, people might think you want to scam them.
This is the reason why you need to be knowledgeable first in what you're sharing before sharing it to others. The problem right now is that, people are acting like they're geniuses, sharing false information to newbies, and in the end they'll just scam people.

_ Attend meet up and conference, the Bitcoin community is awesome.
If there's any conference near my place, I will try to attend. I've been in the crypto for around 6 years already (still a newbie though), but I didn't ever try to attend any conference. Of course there might be some who will be saying "You can attend online conferences", but I'd rather go in person because I want the feeling of sitting next to other newbies out there who are like me - wanting to learn more about Bitcoin.

_ Guide newcomers to the crypto industry to Bitcoin only.
Agree with this one. Just to add, guide them using true information, and don't misinform them.

_join #bitcoin Twitter: it's less lonely with fellow holders.
Not a Twitter user so... it's a no-no for me. Tongue It's just only me though.

_ Don't Force Bitcoin on others, but be a resource to those who seek knowledge
It's not only in Bitcoin, but in our everyday lives. Don't force somebody to do something, or don't force somebody to learn something especially if they aren't interested into it. Introduce it to them, and let them think if they really want to learn it or not. If they are interested then guide them. If not then "THANK YOU, NEXT".
