821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My btc full year plan 2024 on: December 30, 2023, 07:55:12 PM

shit that prediction overlooked the ETF effect. are you not consider the BTC halving anymore?

because afaik when there is halving, the prices will already be going up after months or right when it's happening. but if this is going to be how BTC price goes, and the altcoins are skyrocketing, i would be disappointed to what ORDI had done that investors are already skipping BTC.

Im realistic when we look at the USD funding supply to the markets that's how i see the situation.
We will see and know about year 2025-2026 after few months.

the cycle pattern wouldn't agree. every halving year the price goes parabolic and the next year follows the bear market. that's the usual pattern in which the chance of a bear in 2025-26 is higher than going up. i'm no expert but that's what is happening every time.

if by December it's just 56500$ that we didn't beat the ATH 69k then maybe the bulls will continue til we touch it. for me, after all the hype of ETF along with halving and institutions coming to buy up BTC, it will be dissatisfying not to see more than $100k.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue - 3 Title Defense fight on 2024 on: December 30, 2023, 07:40:00 PM
Inoue has all the right to demand the fight to be in Japan and promotions will still make money in the country. it will just be about money still.

fighting Tank Davis is gonna be a challenge for Inoue, he is a monster in the lighter division but there are bigger monsters on top. he will be crushed along the way when his weight takes its toll. but it will be an easy fight with Nery.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: another shitcoin another scam.... or? BURRRD on: December 30, 2023, 06:33:10 PM

they are honest though. so if you voluntarily invest then you know already what will happen to your money. this is a straightforward dev team and this means you have no one else to blame when you lose any dollar you have, consider it a donation.

it's a fun meme though and with the insane kids today, i wouldn't be surprised to see someone put their money into this Getetama NFTs they are offering to its investors. i can already imagine how fun the telegram channel is.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: December 30, 2023, 06:08:37 PM
if there is a chance to buy online, t would buy. Its hard to just pass that P571,554,916.40. spend just $3 for the tickets i guess will not hurt my month's pay but i would probably just limit it to that amount. the odds of winning is just too high.

even at such high odds though people will keep on buying. i overheard some time in the past when i was on the train, two girls laughing as they checked their tickets on the paper one said, if she wins she'd dump her husband lol for good.

826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming altcoins on: December 30, 2023, 05:20:05 PM

TonUP tokens caught my eye when they said they were going to be listed on the Bitget exchange and we had the chance to get some of these tokens by joining their bounty campaign last month. i however did not join because i had no idea if this project would be big. from what i know the ICO price was $0.10 and then in the exchange it was already more than $0.50, it went up to $1 weeks ago. it think the price will go further up later.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: December 30, 2023, 04:53:40 PM
if the amount you will get in turning them to USD is just less than $10, i think exchanges wouldn;t allow it. i saw this on binance and if this is so then you are bound to just hold them.

if you find out there are casinos that accept those tokens, i think it's good to just gamble them away to see if you are lucky enough to make more out of it.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 29, 2023, 08:22:53 PM

if they really see Casimero going to beat Inoue, they wouldn't want to ruin the party yet. they are making money with Inoue. they know whoever fights against Inoue will lose and Arum and friends will generate money from his fights.

if they kill Inoue's career by making him fight Casimero. cash cow will be dead. they might not want that to happen for now and they will probably wait til Casimero is beaten by father time with a huge bod.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How should Lotteries be categorized? on: December 29, 2023, 08:08:15 PM

i have no idea what that standard system but all i know they are all gambling. the government however is just putting an exception to the lottery because they benefit from its money. i don't also know the ratio but 1 in 10 million i guess that's how lucky you are when you win the lottery jackpot.

so whatever the standard gambling system is, it doesn't apply since the government can do what it wants. the religious family i know who despises gambling even buys lottery tickets. that's how the government cleans the game and the holy men are playing it.
830  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Should Binance users be worried over the exchange? on: December 29, 2023, 07:37:52 PM

binance will lose a lot of its clients from countries like India and Russia. and it might also happen in more countries. The Philippines SEC has already issued a warning Binance will be blocked in the country, you can already tell this is geopolitics and will not be surprised anymore.

Yes. Indian crypto traders received disappointing news recently.  Folks there can no longer utilize the platform to buy, sell or trade digital assets.  Instead they must withdraw any funds stored on Binance.  This creates headaches for Indian crypto enthusiasts who relied on its services.  However, Binance still runs in most places worldwide and  the company tries to fully comply with laws across different countries.  So this Indian closure seems isolated, rather than signalling wider troubles for Binance.

Binance makes the transaction on P2P very easy for local currency trading. we will be registering to another exchange if they are blocked. India has Wazirix. each country has its local exchanges, that's where we all are going to be. Government-backed exchanges.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of privacy coins and tokens? on: December 29, 2023, 05:40:05 PM
What's up with exchanges now delisting some trading pairs of altcoin? If am not mistaking early this month binance delist some trading pairs and now we are seeing another one. Though this might be for the health of the exchange so they won't be running into trouble with the SEC or regulators. Anyway, it seems they are just trying to escape from what happened to a binance and the regulators concerning money laundering.
Exchanges delist coins primarily for two reasons,

1. When the volume of the coin/pair is not really upto the market they expected to be and maintaining wallets and spending funds for the security of funds will be a net loss.

2. When government/regulators force them to do.

OKX is a Korea-based exchange, it does mean the regulation is forcing them to do it, and maybe low volume as well is the issue. people today don't care about privacy which i guess there is not much volume to the pairs and maybe the coins are also not getting many buyers.

i don't even see many people discussing anymore about these coins. there used to be more developers launching anon coins but this year i see none. the market is just saturated.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: December 29, 2023, 05:12:56 PM
However, everyone have different feelings and who Mr A will say might be very much different than Mr B but the truth of it all is that everyone have separate feelings when it comes to anything that has to do with money, either betting or not.
Although, anytime I bet and don't win, I will not be happy because I didn't gamble to lose, I gamble to win. The truth is just there, there can never be a winning in gamble all the time, sometimes we lose and sometimes we win (I can never forget that).
When I lose I just have to remember back the days I normally win big and after that I just forget about the losing that day.
But if I win, I will be very much excited because I just doubled my money, there is always happiness when a gambler is winning (believe me this), no gamblers will ever get angry for winning.

just like you said its different depending on the outcome of your gambling session. if after i play i won like $100, i'd be happy to buy myself a nice dinner to celebrate. if i lose then maybe i'd just eat the usual and rethink again why i gamble the way i did.

i think its normal to reflect on what the wrong bet is or just regret why they gamble on this bad luck day. i would reflect as well but at the end of the day it's just another day in my life.
833  Other / Meta / Re: Why do some campaign members posting essay? on: December 29, 2023, 04:54:36 PM

it's healthy for the forum since the Google bots will like unique content and the Google bots index the pages faster for the search engine.

since you are referring to the Stake campaign, you should know that the manager of the campaign removes the users who don't write longer posts. that's why they make it very long. this applies to other campaigns because they indicate posting around 250 characters. they like it that way like people will notice the siggy.
834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maybe future trade is gambling on: December 29, 2023, 04:25:31 PM
since you wager when you predict which team is going to win in a sports match, you therefore are betting for a team to win which means gambling. the fine line between futures trading i guess will make people conclude it is also gambling since the trader is also predicting where the market will go within a time.

so maybe it's just gambling as well. the binary trading seems to be classified as gambling, it's even on casinos like rollbit. the difference is that in trading you have a tool for predicting the market while in a sports match, you just analyze based on the skills and previous games.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What we all learnt this 2023 on: December 28, 2023, 09:22:50 PM
I know I'm kinda new here to be giving out advice on this forum, nonetheless I've been on the crypto space for some years now and from my mistakes and personal experience I can say this:

👉 Don't take popular opinions as an investment advice. If there is anything I've truly learnt from my time in this forum, is not to follow popular opinions or crypto influencers. Making reference to a trend some months ago about bitcoin price reaching an ATH of 100k this year which is obviously not going to happen because of the current price and market conditions, I guess it would take the hand of God to make that happen and we aren't even sure if we are in a bull run or not.

some very well-known people also have predictions that are way beyond the range like $1M per BTC. these are also the people who predicted $100k last 2021.
i think when they overprice it, it means the prediction is likely not intended to happen in the current bull run but in the next 3-4 bull cycle. it's just a way to hype the market.

you don't really need to believe every influencer. but you can believe they are bullish.
836  Local / India / Re: Financial Intelligence Unit of India wants to block URL of Binance and 8 others on: December 28, 2023, 09:03:06 PM
all nine of them at once which is kind of blocking the huge crypto market. these are just major exchanges so they left out a few that aren't popular.

if they haven't been on WazirX, i think the traders will start signing up by now unless one of them settles.  Binance will usually settle and comply so there is still that after all this is the biggest and will likely feel the loss from a country with a large population of crypto users.

837  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Implications of War on Individuals on: December 28, 2023, 08:07:19 PM
even in this forum the propaganda still works and people believe Russia is losing. they already have a huge territory of Ukraine. that's the truth as much as we want to punish Putin, he is winning but let's just say this guy is also fighting for the good of his country/people while the West is also fighting for the good of their people.

it's not bad versus evil. there is nothing such as that. every side is protecting its interests.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Was You Biggest Win in 2023? on: December 28, 2023, 07:17:00 PM

the biggest win so far in one bet in boxing betting for Fury by decision which i won $80 in one bet. i had doubts that i would win since heavyweight fights always end in KO but it was a UD. the discussion on the Joe Rogan podcast gave away a tip about how the fight could play out and so they were right.

i have a few wins like the recent Inoue and the previous Crawford win which wasn't so big. its an easy bet because these are popular favorite boxers.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a new trend of Altcoin Bull run? on: December 28, 2023, 06:59:12 PM
Even if it is a new trend, trends tend to fade away with time. In this case, I think the same will happen. History repeats itself. So the altcoin season after Bitcoin bull run will happen again. We see many dramas before Bitcoin halving, maybe this is one of them. So I will not bet everything on this as an altcoin bull run. Instead, I will see this as an opportunity and take advantage of it.

And when it's over, I will make sure to take my profit and exit. I am still not convinced that this is an actual bull run for altcoins. I'm still focusing on Bitcoin. Every investment is a risk and we grow by taking risks. If you can make profit from this then that's good for you but don't put everything in it thinking that this is the actual bull run. Because cautious about everything. It's the cryptocurrency market after all.

this must be the kind where bull run has started even before the BTC halving. i read they call it the supercycle where bull run is bigger and its cycle is more than a year which probably means it started even before the halving year.

this hasn't happened yet in crypto afaik but if this continues til the end of year 2024, then the prices could go parabolic and could spike like they did last 2017.
840  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun on: December 28, 2023, 06:30:15 PM
Actually a small miracle just happened.....I tried everything from emails to messages on TG to their chat moderators....and just now half an hour ago they finally responded on TG and they processed my pending withdrawal.....is it coincidence or did they read this thread? I guess we will never know but I'm glad they do pay at least. However if any future withdrawals take many days or more then I will ofcourse report about it here again.
For now I will also update my Casino Guru complaint to resolved.

They have a terrible manual processing of withdrawal to any type of currency so it’s guaranteed that your withdrawal will be delayed the next time you play in there. You should request to let your account to be on instant withdrawal process to the support since they have this kind of feature to selected user based on activity on their casino.

Btw their live support is very active on responding to concern if they are available during  their office hour. The only problem was the person in-charge for approving withdrawal is different to the live support that always active so you will still wait.

this thread is almost just one of the accusation threads though so they might have read this and maybe someone posted a message about this thread in the TG so they are alerted to solve the issue.

if they manually process withdrawals then i guess it makes sense now. it's not fitting to this day to haave a manual process though, it's already 2023. some platforms don't even use email anymore to approve the action but just a bot on TG for confirmation.
