841  Economy / Speculation / Re: Even Seasoned Analysts Can Get it Wrong on: October 10, 2023, 03:03:54 PM
It is not a shocking thing, the market is not a known thing and should not be considered as a shocking thing in the end. We need to realize that it is going to take a while before we could do something about it. The thing is that there are way too many people who think that there is a secret way of finding out what the price will be, but there is none at all.

The greatest thing about this is that it gives you a chance to be right when an expect is wrong, that is a feeling you can't find anywhere else because you can't just go play basketball and beat Michael Jordan, or play football with Ronaldo and beat him. This however is a place where you can actually be better than the best if you hit it right and they do not guess right.
842  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Is Bitcoin Price Increasing? on: October 10, 2023, 04:31:32 AM
It is still a bit above 27k as we can see, plenty of people assumed that it would go up a lot but we have seen it not do that and we are still around the same prices. I understand that going from 25kish to above 27k made people hopeful and they got some FOMO, but that doesn't really mean that it would go up a lot just because it went up a bit. I believe that just because we are doing what we are doing doesn't mean that we are going to be continuing to do so. I think it is better to just have something that will benefit us all which would be just realizing that it is a steady growth and not a quick one.

We can keep doing what we are doing right now and I believe that it could be done but it has to be something that will take some time. I hope that we could end up with something that would be amazing and it should not be all that shocking when you are looking at what you are doing, and because of that we should not be really surprising it all that much when it goes up more in the future but stays same for now.
843  Economy / Economics / Re: The economics of war. How does this affect us all especially us in crypto? on: October 10, 2023, 04:14:23 AM
I can't speak about the politics or the war because it is a two sided thing and there will be a lot of people from both sides that will attack me if I pick one side. I do not want that, I do not care about your ideas, there is one thing I care about and that is death. This type of war or all wars basically, result in death and that is always unreasonable.

If there are people killing each other, then I do not care about ANY reason that you are giving, whichever side ends up killing someone is doing something wrong. I do not care who started it, all I care is who ends it and I want it to end. I want this one to end, I want Ukraine vs Russia to end, I want all wars and all killings to end in the world. Financially speaking this is beyond something we can calculate, it is just doesn't have a value attached to it, a human life can't worth anything put to fiat terms.
844  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance Launches UK Domain in Compliance with New Financial Promotions Rules on: October 10, 2023, 03:10:05 AM
I think this is good, I also would love to see binance.us to prosper and they find a way to deal with BUSD once again. That was a good stablecoin and they did alright, if USDT can stay and nobody cares about it, then it is weird that BUSD can't stay. USA didn't do anything about USDT or stopped them, they could have if they wanted to and they did an investigation as well but at the end of the day they didn't do it, I do not understand why that was.

I think it's quite important to realize that you are going to end up with something that is a bit biased. If you bow down to USA then they let you exist, if you do not do it and put your company headquarters there or pay your full taxes there, then they will ban you like they did to Binance. UK is a good step, we need it everywhere else.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 09, 2023, 08:44:51 PM
I agree that Leverkusen is doing great and with Jude gone they may have some harder time to win because we are seeing now at Real Madrid how great Jude is and how important he must have been for them. But that doesn't change the fact that Dortmund is till the latest runner up, so it should be important to notice that they are going to do well enough as well. I personally believe that the best thing to do would be a good return, and shouldn't really make any big changes.

This means that we are going to end up with something that should be considered a bit of a tough deal and shouldn't really be all that increasingly hard to handle. Leverkusen is recently good, and they may not sustain it, being great for a season long is not an easy thing and most teams that does it for the first time like Leverkusen is doing ends up getting worse results eventually and I assume that they are going to end up with a result that will not be all that easy for them to keep this streak going.
846  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is regulation of cryptocurrency exchanges essential for mass adoption? on: October 09, 2023, 07:48:40 PM
Regulation is not the thing that is a "must" or essential, it's that being legal is the thing we are going for here. When you are talking about regulations, it looks like without hardcore regulation we can't have mass adoption, that is not the case, yes that is how it will probably be and we will see a ton of people end up with something that will be crazy to handle, but that doesn't mean that it will be the way to go.

We could also have a world where it is not as hard regulations as we think and it could still end up with a good result and shouldn't shock anyone. I think low level regulations that leave it be and still be legal is the greatest thing that could happen for bitcoin and it will definitely lead to a huge adoption numbers.
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 09, 2023, 07:12:55 PM
Sometimes it doesn't matter if you do not play well enough, Barcelona got quite terrible 1 point but it is still one point. They played terribly but got the point they wanted and now they are only 1 win away from Real Madrid. Sure that's not what they hoped, but just one win difference is fine enough and could be going the way they want. They were losing by the half time and they got back, that is good enough for them.

I understand that not everyone feels the same or the results are the same for them but that doesn't change the fact that they are going to end up with something that would be a lot worse. I hope that the best thing we could do regarding this would be making sure that they are going to try it as much as they possibly could, and that is very important. I hope that the best thing to do right now would be trying to keep their head down and keep working hard, it will lead to them getting more wins and not have too many games like this one they had.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good fundamentals don't ensure a great investment. on: October 09, 2023, 06:42:42 PM
It doesn't ensure it, but what does? People keep saying one thing bad without putting any alternatives which is the biggest issue, I believe that we are going to end up with something that would be a bit different if we are not careful, and that is why I believe that we are going to be having some trouble.

Hopefully it will get  to a point where we could end up with a good return one way or another, and that should be important, we could definitely see it happen one way or another. I believe that we are going to end up with something that would be better than good fundamentals before we give that up, if there is nothing better than that, no matter how it is not great, it is still better than any other alternative to it.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 7 ways to earn free cryptocurrency on: October 09, 2023, 03:38:11 PM
These are a great list for a newbie to come in and start earning something. Maybe you may not be interested in them and I am not interested in them but that doesn't change the fact that there are a lot of people who are interested in them. None of these are zero user things, they all have some users, some of the more than the others but they all do.

This proves the point that they have enough people being interested in them without us being involved with any of them. So, a newbie coming into the crypto and not start off with spending their own money to buy, could take a look at these and think if they would like to be part of them or not and give them all a look which could result with them picking one.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 08, 2023, 08:35:32 PM
It's really an easy game for PSG, to be fair I feel like PSG is still not going to do all that badly in the league, people are overreacting and they should not be overreacting to this season. I get that they had some issues at the start and may end up having more issues later on and right now they are trying a lot harder and not winning that easily etc etc, these are all valid opinions.

But, I also believe that they are still by far the best team right now and not really thinking that they will change it anytime soon. If you ask me it is going to end up with something that would be a lot harder for them to keep on losing, and should be something that will result with their championship in the end. There are some other good teams now, and they are doing fine, but that doesn't mean that they are going to end up with a title, all those teams are trying to be in the top four if you ask me and nothing more. This is not bad, being second is still a ton of money.
851  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we truly need cbdc when bitcoin already exist? on: October 08, 2023, 05:52:44 PM
We do not "need" it at all, governments do. That is the point of this creation, not that any big nation has ever done it yet, but that doesn't mean that we are not going to see it happen, we are going to see it change a lot more in the near future. I think it is quite important to realize that the best way to approach this would be impossible to let it be and governments can see that tens of billions of dollars go into tether and other stable ones so they want to make sure that they get that money instead.

This means that we are going to end up with something that would not make sense for that much time, it is going to be something that would be a bit harder to handle and we need to make sure that we could cause a lot of benefit for them, that is the only reason they created it.
852  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on your own vs social trading and copy trading on: October 07, 2023, 02:32:20 PM
Trading your own gives you a great amount of unlimited power, you can do whatever you want and that matters. However, if you trade with someone else's situation then the result will not be that good because you are limited to whatever they tell you and you have to keep doing what they are telling you as well.

This is why the best thing to do in this regard is to just help yourself and do your own trades, it will definitely allow you to get better and should be something that would benefit you on the long term. I get that not a lot of people end up doing their own trades because they do not know how to do that, but at the end of the day they are going to be forced to learn how to do that eventually which should be the most important part.

I personally do not really do anything that is crazy, I just look at the TA and calculate how it should be going and trade based on that, which makes it easier and not really a big task to trade, sometimes I lose as well, but overall I am in profit lately.
853  Economy / Economics / Re: What US can do with its dept? Genuine question. on: October 06, 2023, 09:26:10 PM
I mean you pay the old debt, and you keep increasing the new one and you keep it going, that's as simple as that. You borrow money today but you pay it 10 years later, with inflation you hope you did better with that money than you should be paying it back, and by that time you are going to get more debt anyway, so when the time for your debt comes, it has been 10 years since you took it.

Plus most of the "debt" is not really debt, that's just inflation, they are literally printing money every year anyway, so that means they are going to just use that and pay it back and hurt their currency a little bit but because other currencies are doing even worse, they will be fine. Look at the last situation with pandemic, they printed trillions and they still did fine compared to other currencies.
854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Cash without KYC? on: October 06, 2023, 09:15:45 PM
It's really not possible to turn it into fiat without doing p2p. If you really want to do it, you are going to be forced to trade it with a person face to face, I mean it doesn't have to be face to face but basically you give them your bank details, they send you the money and you send them the USDT, that's the only way, this can be done online too but you may not trust anyone, so make sure they send the money first, and not something like paypal because they can chargeback. It is all around risky and dangerous, I would highly suggest that it is not going to end up with anything good, I would definitely consider this as bad idea and should be done differently.

Just give your KYC to any exchange that requires it, unless you are a wanted criminal then you shouldn't have any issues because your KYC at an exchange doesn't  raise any flags unless you are a criminal. And if you are a criminal then you shouldn't be trading crypto at all and just give yourself to the police.
855  Economy / Economics / Re: I am forgetting the value of money. on: October 06, 2023, 08:42:10 PM
Forgetting money's value is because of the gap between the hard working class in a low level economy nation versus a child at some big nation like USA. You could be a doctor in a third world country and make far far less than some uber driver in the USA. You could literally be a 16 year old (don't know if they are allowed or do they have to wait until certain age) and have drivers license and start Ubering at USA, maybe Uber doesn't let 16 year olds, they can have a license but not sure about the Uber thing, but basically 16 or 18 or 21 doesn't matter, and still make x10 more than some doctor in a third world country.

I have seen people making as much as 5-6k a month, obviously there is gas and depreciating car costs, but it is still good chunk of money, doctors make about 1k here where I live, that difference makes it hard to comprehend why you worked all your life for something and a kid can buy it driving people around while you are not capable of buying the same thing.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: October 06, 2023, 08:18:11 PM
To be fair premier league teams are usually strong teams that should be getting wins at every level, but they are distributed a bit differently normally. You do not see teams like Liverpool at Europa for example, you see them trying their best at UCL, just a few years ago they won it as well, so them being at Europa is a different feeling, obviously it is still a competition and they could still lose it, but they have a much higher chance here than UCL we can at least accept that.

The league is one of the best, it is between them and la liga at this point and I am sensing that they are going to keep at it and try to be first as well, they have so much money. It is all about being a rich nation that has a huge football culture, and that allows teams to be rich, along with some super wealthy owners as well.

This is why we are not going to see premier league teams go away at any time, they will always be as strong as they are right now and keep being at competitions and trying to win them all. A season where premier league teams win all three European competitions is not impossible.
857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Up Move Incoming on: October 06, 2023, 05:22:25 PM
At this point, it feels stuck just a little bit higher. It used to go above 26k and under 26k and keep doing that, nowadays it feels like it goes above 28k and under it and keeps doing that. It is still a good thing that we are doing it at a higher level, but it doesn't feel like it is going to be all that easy at all, we should be a lot more careful about it. I know that it will take some time, but we need to do this with 30k already.

We are on the verge of going higher if you ask me, we tried to go up and failed, but we tried to go down and failed that too so there is nothing to fear. If it keeps like this, then I think going higher is easier, convincing people to buy bitcoin is far easier than convincing them to sell it.
858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving cycle on: October 06, 2023, 03:12:41 PM
Reaching the point where that should reach to 100k+ is not all that weird and should be considered a bit better. I get that we could reach to a point where it could make a profit that could help out for the long term. The best thing about this cycle is that we are going to end up with a greater return if we can hold it for a long time and should be the most important thing. I know that not many people could see it that way but that doesn't mean that we could make a big change regarding this.

I hope that we could hold long term, because there are situations in life when you just have to cash out to pay something and unfortunately it has been common thing for me for the past year or so, and I hope that all the ones I am gathering now could be amounts that I could hold until the ATH is peaked again.
859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: October 05, 2023, 09:08:53 PM
The trouble with old age is that your income will be limited. Since you are not going to be working, or at least most people hope that they won't be working and just hoping that they would end up with something like a special case, I am guessing that there is going to be limited amount of income. This doesn't mean it will be zero, if you invested smartly you would have some money to retire, some retire at 45, some retire at 75, whatever age you retire, since you are not actively going to work, there is no way that you could make it back.

So, it would be smart not to keep gambling at old age, or even if you do end up doing it, just like how old people play bingo or something, doing a thing like that would make more sense. This should be the most important difference because it would be a small amount that wouldn't hurt your budget. If you keep gambling the same way as you did when you were young, that money gone would be a dangerous thing for your future.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: October 05, 2023, 08:35:23 PM
With Max getting another title this season, we are closer to the new regulations and there are more and more information coming out. Turns out one of the most important ones will be that the cars will be smaller, I think about 20 cm less wider, which means that overtaking should be easier, your car will be smaller to go through smaller places and the other drivers will have smaller cars as well so they will not be able to close it all, so that width getting smaller definitely matters a lot on the overtakes without a doubt.

ERS will be much more important, we are going to have a lot bigger ERS that doesn't end too quickly, and the engine power will be reduced to balance that, so that means if engine power is smaller, cars will not go as fast normally as they are going now, but when you use ERS, it will have a higher period where it goes a lot faster, imagine having ERS for one full lap, that will change all of fastest lap points without a doubt.
