1841  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL]What do you expect from Bitcoin in 2023? on: January 02, 2023, 09:24:05 PM
Honestly I expect it to not crash, that is good enough for me. If we do not go under 15k all year, then I have what I need from it and that is good enough for me. I understand that people have a huge increase needs, like they want to see it at 30k first, then even break ATH and want to make huge amounts of profit and I get it, I understand it. But that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with something huge neither, it's fine if we do not have it at all.

This is why I believe that we should not be really focusing on the current situation as a big deal, just nothing under 15k is more than enough for me, even if we stay in between 16k to 20k all year without going under or over, that's fine.
1842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT Speculation on: January 02, 2023, 08:14:32 PM
NFT as a general is not something that will go up if you ask me. It was a big hype but that's it, as soon as hype died, the whole NFT space died and will not recover. The idea wasn't liked all that much anyway, it was used to make more profits and people bought and sold to make a profit but not because they enjoyed it or liked it or found it logical, they did it purely for money.

Now that there is no money in there, and no hype, how could they profit from it? And if they don't, then why would we want to see it do a lot better? This is why NFT will never recover and grow, not with regulations, and not without it, it is just going to stay as low as it is now.
1843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Memecoin and utility - impossible or next stage of crypto development on: January 02, 2023, 07:05:00 PM
I think it is going to end up being a bit of a trouble when people realize that the only thing that kept these coins were hype and nothing else and it's not going to end up being anything better in the long run neither. I get that most of them want it to go on for a longer period of time but it is not going to happen and we will have to focus on just fundamentally strong coins.

If you keep checking meme ones, then your money will turn into a meme itself and you wouldn't want that. It's much better if you could just put it in something serious so that you would seriously make some money, it's much better that way. It's my preference at least, much better that way.
1844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting Started on Bityx — Beginners Guide on: January 02, 2023, 03:49:23 PM
It is not unusual for people to be wary of new websites considering the situation we are in right now I mean it is clear that we shouldn't be really worried about crypto itself but all the things you use it for. And in this case if OP wanted to promote something or at least put it out there, it is normal for people to be worried about it as well.

I do not trust even the simplest websites that want to connect to my metamask, let alone trust some unknown new place with all my money there as well. We have seen billions of dollars worth FTX crumble in a matter of days, so it's harder to trust newbie places. Still a good attempt though, we need some new places eventually.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 31, 2022, 03:38:25 PM
Goalkeeper is the only position they should look to get someone, and Livakovic is cheaper than anyone else and he is young enough and he is definitely a good alternative.

However, dude is good enough to be a starting GK in most clubs, so going to Bayern to play there until end of the season and be benched next year wouldn't be an ideal situation for him, playing at Bayern until end of the season and then going to another team would be great but he needs to get that 1 year contract if he could and Bayern wouldn't want that. Aside from the GK position, which could be handled with backup GK if you ask me, I do not think that they really need any other player, they are fine in all other positions.
1846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin still looking bearish during the holidays on: December 31, 2022, 06:28:08 AM
You see bitcoin market bearish but I feel like it is rock stable during these festival days. In December, we got chances to test $18k levels but from that we came back and keep trading around $16500 levels till today. At the end of year, bitcoin market trading 'stable' must be a good sign for rising; usually failing to break resistance levels and coming back to range bound alone will lead to further fall but keep trading stable definitely will lead to bounce back.

All signs are leading us to have a stronger bulls in the first quarter of 2023. Probably, 2nd quarter could be another round of bearish to sideways market but we may not see below $20k at those times.
1847  Economy / Economics / Re: What was your lowest point financially? How did you go through it ? on: December 30, 2022, 09:32:50 PM
Isn't all our troubles both financially and non-financially usually gets better over time? I mean I have been going through some health stuff in the past year as well and it just passes with time. Even if it's a permeant thing then it's all time, I lost my grandmother at the start of September, and she is now gone, may she rest in peace, but that doesn't mean that it's not getting any easier with time, I feel better right now about it than I felt during September, and nothing changed, she is still gone, and yet with time I feel better.

So, it is similar financially as well, now you could be in big debt and feeling horrible, but how about 5 years from now? Absolutely no change? I mean even if so, you would still feel better about it at the very least.
1848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just how bad is the bear market right now? on: December 30, 2022, 08:42:10 PM
Realizing that bear market is not "bad" is the key to your success if you keep thinking that it is bad then you are going to be upset about it all the time. Realizing it is not a bad thing but a profit making chance will give you the chance to focus on it as much as you possibly could. I personally believe that we should be happy when there is a market crash.

I know this sounds crazy, why would I be happy when my portfolio is 80% down right? Well simply because it means you could buy bitcoin for so much cheaper and that gives you a chance to make a lot more profit later on when the price finally goes back to ATH prices yet again, and you would be getting richer and richer.
1849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rank positions on CMC changes every bull market? on: December 30, 2022, 07:48:12 PM
I always trust bitcoin, ethereum and bnb to retain their top 20 positions for sure, guaranteed (and if you want to consider stable ones then them too) but all others are open hunting season. Anything from avax to doge to litecoin, anything there could go out of top 20 for sure and there is no reason why it shouldn't or couldn't go out.

It's going to be a tough period for people to live in this fear empire where we do not know if it will go down or not, but we have to just realize that it's not that easy to keep something at top 20, it requires constant hype and interest towards it and if there is nothing exciting then the community will stop caring about it and buying more of it.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SBF released, Will Solana ($SOL) come back? on: December 30, 2022, 07:21:21 PM
Just because they are responsible for some things, doesn't mean they are responsible for it all the time. However, when a company is in trouble and they have that much money, it is unlikely that they would not sell it. There is a good chance that they will get rid of their SOL position and use that money for cash flow problems. It's not an unlikely situation, and it will probably be the most common sense thing to do.

SOL would crash because of this, but it will not go away forever, it will stay and it will make some noise later on, it will just not be as big as it used to be that's it. Not being able to reach it's full potential, and dying is not the same, it won't do either.
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next crypto craze? on: December 30, 2022, 06:05:45 PM
Maybe something a bit more hardware related finally? I am not saying lets create a crypto watch where we all use watches etc type of hardcore stuff, but we already have physical stuff such as ledger nano wallets for example, I do not see a reason why something that is physical and digital combined finally being out becoming a bit more popular.

People always create low effort stuff and hope to get rich with it, and hope investors would give them millions of dollars for it, but that doesn't change the fact that time to time (very rarely) some idealists come out and do something that has been never done before and that could be with something physical this time around.
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: December 30, 2022, 05:23:04 PM
It is really upsetting and annoying to see people still doubting Biden winning legally or not. It has been checked more than any other election in the history and no fraud was found.

If you are still unsure, then you should 100% stop trusting the election and stop voting because this is not just democrats vs republicans anymore, it's you vs the system and the system includes so many republicans and democrats together, if there was a fraud that could ever be uncovered, it would have been because many republicans had the chance and given the possibility and yet they couldn't neither. It's a proof that the system works, and yet some are still unsure about it. In that case, you do not trust either party, and should not vote at all.
1853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing the big multipliers in soccer on: December 30, 2022, 04:26:02 PM
Sometimes we want to wager a bit higher odds so we could get bigger rewards, it's just something people could prefer time to time. I mean think about it this way, what if I wagered on dice, and bet on x99? That would be hard to hit as well and yet we do it, so why not do it on football as well?

I have played parlay many times before, in fact that is the type of game I prefer over single betting. The difference is that, I like to just pick the winner of the game, some people pick from yellow card amount to corners to many other details, I just pick the winner. So when you wager 10 games, and pick 10 winners, that's it? That's good odds and a good chance to win as well.
1854  Economy / Economics / Re: California and the Midwest face ‘high risk’ of electricity shortages on: December 30, 2022, 03:49:04 PM
Two things; one of them is the high capital required to start, and they are already facing the issue so if they start doing solar panels today then they would have to spend tens of billions of dollars (which they do not have) and would cause a little bit of delay on getting it. Secondly it would be the improving tech, when you buy a solar panel today, even if you get the newest tech, in a year there will be a better tech because we haven't reached the pinnacle of that tech yet.

If you own iPhone 10 instead of latest 14 it wouldn't be too different, sure some difference but not a lot, but if you have nokia 3310 and use it for 10 years, then you are missing out on the newest things. Right now solar panels are at 3310 situations, not iphone 10 hence spending tens of billions means in a few years you spent it on useless old tech.
1855  Economy / Economics / Re: Effect of the FIFA world cup on Qatar's economy on: December 30, 2022, 02:49:03 PM
Qatar didn't do any of this for infrastructure or better life or anything else like that, they did it to look cute to west and nothing more. You have to understand, when there is so much purchasing power, there is a political power as well. Europe and Canada and USA are nations that spend a lot of money, or at least have a lot of money and they had it for a long time, considering how far they go, we are talking about at least a thousand years.

So, when we are talking about "the west" you are either supporting it or against it, Russia for example is in a war with it, and nations such as Saudi Arabia or Qatar want to look cute to west so they would not be attacked like they did to Iraq or Afghanistan.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 29, 2022, 10:06:34 PM
A wild night, both the problem with Detroit and Orlando game, and also grayson allen situation, when you combine them together I haven't seen two fights in different games at the same night for a while. NBA used to be a lot tougher as we all remember and we would see it and find it normal, not as much as hockey or anything but definitely a lot of fighting.

For the past 10 years though we haven't seen that many fighting and when it happens it's rare and definitely not two different games on the same night. Does this mean something about the future of NBA? Are we going back to the roots again? Or was this just a coincidence and mean absolutely nothing at all?
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: December 29, 2022, 09:46:22 PM
The fact that Fener lost to them and then Trabzon went and lost this big, its really a shocker. In the end we could look at the table and could be quite shocked about the results so far. It was said that Fener built a team that was insane and Jesus was seen as literally Jesus by the Fener fans and they were so happy and saw the championship as guaranteed, and Galatasaray was seen as a team that lacked leadership and a good manager and a good striker.

Icardi was there for a few games at most but aside from that they became the leaders without him. Now, it is really a shocker that it keeps changing hands, I would expect some consistency from the league in order to bet easily, but consistency is nowhere to be found.
1858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: API Key Futures Trading +10 BTC investors (withdrawals off) on: December 29, 2022, 06:38:32 PM
If I am capable of making 50% profits on weekly basis then I would have been trying to compete to get listed on forbes. In a rough calculation, an initial capital of $100 is enough to reach $1 million mark in just 25 weeks with average of 50% returns weekly. But, you are taking about 10 BTC of investments here and I could not imagine about the returns on the same 25 weeks of time period.

In my vast experiences across different trading markets, no trader will consistently work on other's capital. There could be one or two who may work on profit sharing and they also will switch over to self-trading once they gather enough capital for not depending on any investor.

Trading is a skilful work which means no one would be ready to break their head to fetch profits for us; it is a fact hence not getting deceived on high ROI is wise decision for anyone.
1859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tutored or you learned how to trade? on: December 29, 2022, 05:50:52 PM
I have come across many topics on offers as mentor for cryptocurrency trading and topics on searching for mentors but I am sure no one could help you to avoid losses except those crystal ball holders otherwise we must have had performance tracking topics as well from those mentors Roll Eyes.

Producing only positive results out of cryptocurrency trading is only possible for market manipulators like who initiate the direction of market and all others must be facing losses with unexpected fluctuations. So, never worry about losing trades but always try to cut your losses at possible minimum.

The best is, open a trade with 2 possibilities: target for quick profits if that not happens, convert that trade into long term and forget that and switch to new trade with new capital. It is possible with BTC spot trading; you never need to close a trade in loss Smiley.
1860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: copytrading on: December 29, 2022, 03:59:38 PM
Copy trading is something, I do see frequently as an interesting recommendation from many people here but I yet to hear a success story out of it. If it would be an easier way to make profits like pro traders then I am sure that many trusted people from this community must have shared their real experiences (sorry I do not count unestablished people to rate anything). So, there would be multiple hidden catch within those copy-trading schemes. Otherwise, we would have got many millionaires here.

I remember, to avail copy trading feature on some exchanges, we need to pay a subscription fees which again adding another layer of losses to your capital before you open a trade. By the known fact of 'pro traders also hit stop-loss time to time', I guess we need to copy all 100% trades of a pro trader, otherwise we may miss some profitable trade but will copy a losing trade with all our capital.
