861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto prices are starting to strengthen again on: February 23, 2022, 02:49:49 PM
Coinmarketcap reports that today the 10 largest market cap crypto assets have started moving back into the green in the last 24 hours.
And this morning the most shining altcoin was Terra (LUNA) which passed 8.2% at $55.3 dollars.
Then Solana (SOL) also rose to the level of 87.32 US dollars or rose 3.5%, and Binance Exchange (BNB) which rose 3.4% to $373.4.
Likewise, the price of bitcoin is now in the position of $38,184, up 2.4% compared to the previous day.
And there are several other altcoins such as Cardano (ADA), ETH, DOT, and Dogecoin which rose 1.06% to $0.13 dollars.

Hopefully there will be more progress for all crypto prices.

I would consider the market of last couple of months sideways. As, it hasn't moved much. This signifies two things for me. One, the resistance is strong, there are a lot of people who are not willing to sell their coins below 35k and second, a lot of people are buying the dip in anticipation of a bull run. The bull run is imminent, but how soon is hard to answer.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you consider the safety factor/risk of your invested tokens? on: February 22, 2022, 02:42:25 PM
Was wondering lately how you count and rank your token's security factor and risk before you invest in it?

Do you have a tool that you are using?

lats say that you are able and want o build such a tool how would you make it what you would add what you will remove?

I'm a student and doing a project for my study would like to hear your comments  Grin Wink

For dapps and dex, I look for audit reports. For all of tokens, I also follow their social profile and chats to find how active and co-operative they are. How well their whitepaper are written and how sure they are about what they want to achieve. I also try to buy coins on their pre sale or public sell as much as possible and if I missed it, I wait for it to get listed on exchange and fall in price before buying to hold for long term.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be prepared on: February 22, 2022, 01:47:09 PM
No matter how high crypto coins go bear market is unavoidable it's just the way the market survives, many people are brainwashed with present market condition that they already forget what bear market is, no amount of money can stop bear market from happening, don't say I don't warn you be prepared.

Lost so much due to my own mistakes that I'm prepared for all my portfolio turning zero. I have been only investing in coins I believe in, most of them have not delivered what I thought it would but I also have a stand that I won't sell any of them in loss. Some coins like Pancakebunny (most likely a scam at the moment) turned my large portfolio to almost zero but I haven't sold it. I'd rather forgot about my coins than to sell them for loss.
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter adds ethereum for tipping and receiving on: February 21, 2022, 06:24:37 PM
It would have been better if they implemented doge or litecoin instead. These coins have still cheap transaction fees and you don't have to use second layer stuff which is not as user friendly as the first layer solutions. Doge has been a main stream crypto for years. People should use it as a currency instead of trying to get rich from it imo.
You and I know very well that they are only going to select the cryptocurrencies that are very popular. Bitcoin and ethereum are the most popular cryptocurrencies there is, and that’s what most of the people are likely to be making use of, so that’s what they would add to their platform.

Dogecoin and the Litecoin are not really that popular, most people don’t even know about these coins, except Dutch coin that happened to have a bullish trend this year, but even at that nobody is really interested in Doge coin, except for those who just wants to hop on it and make money through it, because of trend.

Surely Ethereum is a one way forward step from Bitcoin and after that we all can assume more cryptos would follow. Similar to how most exchanges like coinbase started, with bitcoin first and a new popular alt now and than and a large number of them within few years. Similar could be the tipping scenario and they are using third party for the functions, it would be even more easier for them when the third party is handling a lot of options.
865  Economy / Speculation / Re: The long term way is down on: February 21, 2022, 04:17:05 PM
I'm not confused that BTC will reach a new ATH this year anymore since we entered 2022 every recoveries are not strong, on the long run the way is always down, what do you think? I'm i wrong or right?

The way has always been up for BTC till date. It's been reaching new all time high and new lowest resistance every few years. Recently it has been holding its lowest resistance above 30K which is much higher than what it used to be a couple of years ago. If you look and test the graph, you can find it totally bullish. Any price below 40K is a good buy price for bitcoin. Not sure if it would reach a new ATH this year, but it would certainly happen within 4 years.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your luck rate with CMC airdrops on: February 20, 2022, 02:49:58 PM
I just find out that it's not easy to win going coinomi airdrops, I've participated in 10 different airdrops and never get paid at all so when I rechecked I always see like only 1000 people selected out of 300k or more, why airdrop in the first place when only few people will be selected ?

On it's early time it used to have higher chances. But as many people now know about and participate, the luck factor have grown. Furthermore, they have increased the social task needed to be done to participate. That's why I've stopped participating in it. The rewards and chances of getting them are low while the hassle is larger. Airdrops are not worth the time anymore anywhere.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan Is the First Bank Into the Metaverse, Looks at Business Opportunities on: February 17, 2022, 10:16:45 PM
JPMorgan, the bank has always been in news for flipping it's instance on crypto and now they are trying to open their own centralized bank's branch in metaverse. I personally am not much hopeful from the metaverse as not everyone would love to stay in virtual world. And with life like implementation, the negatives of real world would enter the virtual world and would be multiplied by the lack of law and order.
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Biggest Scam Coins In Crypto History on: February 17, 2022, 09:39:16 PM
Didn't realize onecoin was a larger scam than bitconnect. Maybe because a lot of onecoin scam did happen offline. What's been seen in a large number of scams is sooner or later people are being brought to justice, even though the investors might not get the money back, the operators even don't lead a good life. A few insiders of Onecoin were even killed.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: meta is the future ???? on: February 17, 2022, 08:11:15 PM
Meta is a concept of virtual world. And a lot of centralized and decentralized business and new project are jumping into creating those independent worlds. There are huge financial prospects on such real life video games and simulations. But with the different nature of how centralized and decentralized projects works and the capacity and technical advantage, centralized companies are going to have a huge advantage on it over blockchain based technology. That's why I haven't yet invested in any metaverse project as they are just another round of hype.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't have a bright future anymore on: February 17, 2022, 02:49:53 PM
Bitcoin arguably is the most decentralized currency. It has a limited supply and is a brand of its own. Even though it may or may not have utility in the future, it would always be a rare collectible for every crypto enthusiasts. It's low supply and high price would make it a premium coin which gets harder and harder to get each year. The charm might not be the same, but it would be the coin that shines in the history book.
I'm more doubtful about the future of Ethereum than  bitcoin.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: February 16, 2022, 01:03:17 PM
Its been a very long time that I've been using coinmarketcap.com/new to find new crypto projects that just get listed on the platform and I've come to notice that every two to three days coinmarketcap always list up to 30 new crypto projects, how insane is that? It shows that more than 100 crypto projects are released every week cos some landed on coingecko first before coinmarketcap, this to me is scary

It's just the change in listing rules of coinmarketcap. Previously they used to list only those coins that are being traded in two mid or large sized exchange but now any coins could be listed there and they even do paid listings even before a coins goes on it's presale. The number of crypto project too are surely increasing everyday as more people and business are moving towards it and with larger options, it's getting easier to issue and use a token.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum whales bullish on Shiba Inu price on: February 15, 2022, 04:56:19 PM
Why there's no impact in shiba if it's true ? Actually i check the graph and what i see on its daily time frame it has 2 long green candle only which is from feb 5 to 6 and the rest days are correction. That's why i'm wondering why there's no sign of panic buying because  usually shiba inu price really increasing drastically when there's good new especially if its from whales..or maybe investors are busy buying NFTs and meta and don't have enough time to gamble in shiba inu.?.Lol

They might be buying in the dip and not selling. They are creating a resistance and not willing to buy above a certain price. That would make the market look like not going above while holders gather huge sum in cheap price. The NFT based token from Shiba Doge killer already have a huge price hike and anyone getting involved in metaverse would probably directly buy the leash token.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🤔 Personal thoughts about Tron Blockchain on: February 13, 2022, 06:53:31 PM
Tron had everything needed for success. Its transaction fees is effectively zero when you are harvesting the energy. Transaction prices could go high if there were much traffic but it would still have been better than BSC or polygon. Every of the new utility token came and took over Tron while the tron eocsystem and dapps and dex around it failed to attract any traffic. There are still tron based gambling platforms and they provide a good value for fees compared to other ecosystems but they are not as competitive as the ones in newer chains. I just don't have any explanation why the dex hype avoided Tron.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just luck on: February 12, 2022, 05:44:08 PM
Is it just luck that I made most of my money from shitcoins and meme coins? While people are hating I always make sure I got in early and I ended up smiling, if you bought shiba at few weeks of release you know what I'm talking about, I do get some big altcoins too but this so called shitcoins gives me the best profits.

It's luck and it's not always the case, shitcoins are like pump and dump coins or Ponzi schemes, the one who got in or bought earlier will have a good chance to profit, some of those who made a profit from these shitcoins are investors in launchpads where they qualify or verify themselves first before buying very similar to private sales, and once it opens to the public they dump their shares.

Yeah. Most of them work in the classic MML ponzi fashion. Some stay longer while some bust soon but all of them works on earning profit at the expense of newer investors. As the hype maximizes, the early investors do earn high but once it stats to decline, the ones buying at the peak would have a loss. You can call it a skill to join fast and know when to exit but it still is a luck as you are not sure which one would be there for what amount of time. Shiba Inu is one of the exceptions as they still have a good value compared to few months of their initial exchange.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance, led by Changpeng Zhao, is taking a $200 million stake in Forbes on: February 11, 2022, 07:20:21 PM
Media is an important aspect of every business strategy. Media would help you to get good exposure to the general public. It's all about propaganda war and whose propaganda is more believable.
I do love binance and use it regularly but it is becoming what the crypto is fighting against. But in the process of binance making people use and love it, they'll too introduce people to the huge universe of crypto and what lies behind binance.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That is why play to earn concept is a massive failure on: February 10, 2022, 07:03:51 PM
For most of the games, approach is wrong from the start. Not only the game looks and mechanism are similar, they are more interested in making the people buy the tokens than actually making a playable game and a working earn and pay mechanism.
And with so much of new games everyday, people keep switching and the older ones keeps dying as the same people travels from one to another.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are you guys exploring for new coins, and monitoring the exicted? on: February 10, 2022, 05:49:22 PM
I stalk the ICO calendar of coinmarketcap, coingecko as well the event calendar to see what's new project and new events happening. I also view twitter accounts of exchanges, dex and audit companies to see what they've been doing. Sometimes a dex coin price goes up when they get good marks from audit. I also watch the large risers in coinmarketcap and where they were talked about the earlies. Most of the times its on twitter.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the hate? on: February 10, 2022, 04:29:14 PM
$Doge coin and shiba inu takes the lead in the past 24hrs as the most profitable coins after the last dip and here I am thinking it's over for meme coins, I understand that many hated meme coins for their own reasons but Im guessing that adding meme coins to list of your crypto portfolio for future is not a bad plan at all.

Dogecoin being the first meme coins is now a widely accepted crypto for merchant payments. ShibaInu, I still don't believe it's going such strong and they have a strong team that's trying to create a utility around the coin. I mean they both are not just meme right now. And with so much uncertainty and crypto market dominated by pumps and dumps, having popular coins like Dogecoin and ShibaInu in your portfolio is a safe bet.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you make money from meme coins? on: February 10, 2022, 04:14:39 PM
It's almost impossible to make money out of force coin as it seems to be a complete scam. Other meme coins though still being a scam, can be used to make money if you timed you entry and exit right. It's still a gamble and I won't categorize it as a trading strategy but a bet. With so much uncertainty surround crypto and market as general and meme coin having no specific nature other than just started as fun, there's no certain formula that works.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The solution is just there on: February 08, 2022, 04:10:39 PM
If coinmarketcap and coingecko can just start asking for team verification before listing a new project on their platforms I believe many will be safe from scammers, yes it's not their right to do since those platforms are just for listing available crypto projects but I heard they ask for criteria isn't it? They know how bad the numbers of scammers are growing, I think it's doable

There are many crypto projects that have anonymous founders and team. If you really want to participate in a new project with a known team, you can look for them in audit websites like certik and rogdoc. Though a know team is less likely to pull a scam, a team won't guarantee a success either. There would be less rugpull and vanishing with ICO funds but there could be other ways to scam.
