881  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Complete list of Crypto Casino and Sportsbook Scam Accusations on: January 07, 2024, 06:18:21 PM
That's great stuff. I think you should take the project over. It may be best to start a new thread.

[...]
You are pretty much active in the scam accusation section. Maybe you should try to finalize this topic with a better table format.

LMAO, let me sleep over it for a few days? That post I made above took about four hours to edit the link and get a quick refresher course. I probably will, given I've planned about it before, but let me mull over it for a while, given I probably have to re-sweep several pages of the accusation boards to check if the list provided here covers everything [if my memory serves me right, I think some cases are not mentioned here] I can't imagine how many hours will be spent on it.

Would you be so kind and tell me what I did wrong?
Seems like it is getting narrowed when the long texts are in the first column. I just put another column before it to find the solution, I also put the 'vertical line' (|) symbol between other column to give it a better look.

Quote
Although I am still torn whether we should mark the ones I color-coded in orange as strikedthrough [thus, considered solved] or not.
Maybe the status of the accusations with different colour is enough to know the situation. The strikethrough will give the table a messy look.

Ahh... thank you. I'll most likely use this format fixed by you if I take over the list from OP. And yes, the strikethrough will be completely abandoned when the list are displayed on table.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Game of Mages Token ($MAGIO). Play To Earn. Everyone can become a Mage! on: January 07, 2024, 05:22:04 PM
Ohh, take your time, no need to rush, do try to explain. I believe I am not the only one misunderstood, your careful and clear explanation might help us get some sense of what you actually planned.
All information about the initial distribution tokens is on the page https://gameofmages.com/docs/en/token. Info hasn't changed since the beginning. If you have any additional questions, I will answer them.

And the fund gained from these token sold are intended to...?
To cover the operating costs of maintaining the game.

Oh well, I clearly don't understand about your tokenomy, the part about presale to early investor and that statement about "now we are allocating tokens to the team and volunteers from tokens intended for early investors".

And the fund gained from token sale, aside from to cover the operating cost, it'll also be used to develop the game?
883  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Complete list of Crypto Casino and Sportsbook Scam Accusations on: January 06, 2024, 08:19:32 PM
BitcoinGirl.Club, if I may color code the cases based on my very personal opinion, with the criteria as below,

Active
- Cases that met with Rollbit's silence without clear explanation

Inactive/Not Applicable
- Old case that's been more than one month without any update from the accusers [with Razer already replied]
- Cases where Razer has addressed and the accuser didn't challenge the counter-accusation or invitation to arbitrator
- Cases that are out of Rollbit's hand [Sportsbook's decision, clash of interest with legal compliance]

Open
- Cases that's open and waiting to be cleared

Resolved
- Case that reached resolution, either implied or clearly stated

the cases will be like this:

Would you be so kind and tell me what I did wrong?

How about putting different reasons in the status part? The user '-god-' has come with an invalid complaint where he is guilty for the inconvenience. The accusations can be marked as "resolved, invalid, neutral, unresolved" based on the evidences, response from the casino, activity of the OP, etc.

This is a good idea. I  can agree that, at times, cases are not black and white, it's not as simple as active and resolved. Just so it happens, I tried the same approach as you proposed when I started my summary above, with "inactive" and "not applicable" marked in orange. I think your proposed "neutral" is the equivalent of my "open" [marked in blue]. Although I am still torn whether we should mark the ones I color-coded in orange as strikedthrough [thus, considered solved] or not.

1The OP shared majority of the blame because he deliberately waited 1 year to do AML level KYC. Part of 2nd layer of AML by casino is to return the verified fund to the originating address [in OP's case, FTX's address]. Razer offered to "compensate" the lost fund by hiring the OP of that thread in their campaign once he can wear signature.

2 The accuser was the same as the one raising a thread on case number #2, given he returned to SB 7 months later [4th May and then 5th November] I think it's safe to say his earlier case [the one on 4th May] got resolved or having similar outcome, which encourage him to stay with SB

Rollbit
Rollbit  [...]
I will like to see someone is following the above cases against Rollbit and keeping the table updated.

Excellent work Peeps Place.

Lemme try to weed these out, sort the ones that's still active from the ones that's resolved and the ones that --I think-- not or no longer applicable due to the lack of supporting evidence or the OP no longer active. I think it'll be a quick rework, given I think I am quite familiar with most of their previous cases.

[...] thanks for the input. I'll put the table up next week to see what you guys think.

My draft for that thread I mentioned on the previous post looks like this, if you want to copy them, [I edited the status so it'll better reflect the current situation].

BC.Game

You're more than welcome to use that template above. It might looks headache inducing at first look, but you'll get the grasp of it when you start adding entries to the template. The table "coding" was a bit overwhelming for me the first time I began composing that draft too, but then I got into the pattern.

I think it's essential to add the complainant's name in the list so when it grow, we can easily see who open dozens of cases and what happened [whether their case are valid, extortionist, repetitively made unsubstantiated accusations, etc.]

Edit: LMAO, I am not sure why the left-most column was so narrow when it's posted and resuting in the text being stacked. Given I never get past "preview" phase, I didn't know it'll look like that. The previewed draft looks kinda nice.

Edit 2: Nope, I gave up, trying several things to fix it and it still didn't work. I am not sure what I did wrong that it got stacked like that, I am resetting it back to my original draft. Anyone can give input what I did wrong? The one in my preview page looks nice enough,

885  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit Holding my withdrawl. on: January 06, 2024, 08:13:16 AM
Reflecting from other cases, part of the verifying and reviewing withdrawals are not handled and decided by a casino's internal team, one of process of it was ensuring there are no cheating happened during the entire play, and it's done by a third party verifier. That is why they can not give an exact timeframe when will the review be done.

Let me ask Razer to see if the third-party verification has been completed and your withdrawal is simply waiting to be processed by their team and if he can expedite it. He hasn't been online for a while, please give some time for him to notice my PM.
886  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Complete list of Crypto Casino and Sportsbook Scam Accusations on: January 06, 2024, 07:50:34 AM
I agree that it should fit better in reputation board. I nearly made one myself back when BC had a piling case against them [now resolved], I even already drafted the table, and intended to make it as an ever-growing and constantly-updated thread about active and past cases, but didn't go with it as BC began to attending to their cases and I got myself focused on those. And then I forgot about the draft, LOL.

May I suggest to add title to the thread instead of just link? People who usually overseeing accusation threads are most likely more familiar with the name of the thread instead of the thread ID and link. This way, we can help informing you which cases are valid and open, which ones are empty accusation, and which ones are soved.

And on that topic, I peeked into some of the threads on your list and noticed that half of them are not even valid anymore, given the OP of the threads barely update their thread, probably either because it's solved or they mada false accusations, some also had been ruled out by third party arbitrators as resolved.

I don't see any contradictions. It seems to me that you misunderstood something somewhere, but I can't explain it to you.

Ohh, take your time, no need to rush, do try to explain. I believe I am not the only one misunderstood, your careful and clear explanation might help us get some sense of what you actually planned.

No, this is not an ask for financing. Any player who is interested in playing the Game of Mages will use MAGIO for their game grow.
Tokens in the open sale will be intended for players.

a) we don't have separate tokens for the team (and never have);
b) for us, the team is the same investors (and it has been so from the very beginning).

This may be unusual for you, but it's true.

This previous statement seems to contradict the one above? Or was it just me thinking so?

[...]
However, now we are allocating tokens to the team and volunteers from tokens intended for early investors - time spent is a more serious investment than money.[...]

As evidenced, the statement was "now we are allocating tokens to the team and volunteers" instead of "we haveve allocated token to the team and volunteer"

In fact, we do not even request any financing and do not make any business proposal, but inform the community about our project (including the opportunity to purchase tokens before the release of the game at a big discount).

Again, contradictory to the earlier post,

In the future, funds received for tokens put up for open sale will be used to support the development.

This is not asking for financing?
889  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - mycoinchange.io / mycoinchange.net (.co , .ai) - Fake Crypto Exchange on: January 05, 2024, 10:34:42 AM
Bitcoadvice (OP) has the following websites through which he commits fraud:

1. coinchangers.net
2. coinchanger.live
3. coinchanges.net
4. coin-changer.net
5. coinchanger.net

I can confidently say that he opened and manages all these sites, he is deceiving people, and he is trying to close all new cryptocurrency exchange websites so that as many people as possible use his websites and become victims. That is, all new websites reduce its profits through a fraud scheme.

This is interesting, I just took a glance here and there, so I can't be sure I grasp the whole situation, but I believe you have something as an evidence to back up this claim? Otherwise, I think it's... slander.

In terms of fake support photos, of course, this is very bad for user relations, I do not deny this. I understand, of course, that this is dishonest, but with all due respect, this does not make the website fake, as the author wrote in the topic. I think it's a stupid marketing ploy, but it's not a scam. The author of the article himself is involved in fraud and thinks that all the business people are like him. Try to understand that if a person replaces photographs of support workers, then he should be called in other words, and not a scammer. If this causes inconvenience to someone, then let them write and ask for real photos, and there is no need to call them a scammer.

What does it make the website and the owner, then? An identity thief? I think there is a law prohibiting people using other people's credential as their own?
890  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [exit scam waiting to happen] [banned mixer] self-vouching | Type 1 Flag on: January 05, 2024, 10:12:58 AM
Problem with this alleged ''glitch'' is that now since services like this are not available in bitcointalk forum they will just move to another forum platforms and continue business as usual.

I believe that there will be enough users who will follow things on other platforms, However, this ban will have a bad effect on checking the legality of certain services.

I just noticed that this account still has a link to its clearnet site in the website bio on the profile page. I hope theymos uses notifications, so I'll try this way to draw his attention.

I think the "sanction" given to mixer accounts will only be putting their account on PM-only mode? Anything related to their platform, unless it got affected by the word-filter, will left as how it be, as long as they did not make any new advertisement?

Note that the timeline will be something like this:
 - Sometime on Jan 1 (at an arbitrary time, not midnight), the wordfilters will be put into place, the announcement threads will be locked, and mixer-run accounts will be put into PM-only-mode. If any threads/accounts are missed after all of the other ones are affected, please report them. If new wordfilters should be added, please post in a topic in Meta about it.

I looked at all the topics of this author, and i can say that this is another slander against a competitor. It seems that the owner of this website has provided 10 times more substantiated materials than the author of this topic.

It is clearly visible here that apart from empty words, the author did not write anything in the form of evidence. I do not exclude that 1 of the author’s topics may not be related to slander, but this particular topic is completely slander.

Uhh... you do aware that the owner of the site admitted that he "stretched the truth", use fake profile as their customer service, and have fake reviews? And the numbers they gave on their site are most likely "stretched truth" too. Even if the author of this thread did not provide evidence [though the evidence and findings regarding this site are quite abundant, given by many users who pitched in], there is a written statement by the owner of the site admitting his... stretched truth

"Stretching the truth" does not mean scam. Of course, fake reviews are not good, but this does not mean that the website is fake. I use this website, however, they work very slowly, but they don’t scam people, unlike Bitcoadvice. But agree that when launching a website, almost everyone uses both exaggerated numbers and paid reviews to somehow promote their website in such a competitive environment. So, dear, there is no need to say that the owner of the website accepted the accusations of the author of the topic, but simply honestly admitted something else.

Wait, roll back a bit, what scam does the OP do? And you seemed to forgot to justify the fact that they use fake photo for their live support. What's the good excuse for this? Certainly a project that's built in a good faith, no matter how new they are, will not try to fool people with fake photo?

...instead of something like "2.5% to early investors" and "2.5% to team", or that you said,
If we had planned to do so, we would have written so.

Solana, marketing services, and time spent on development are all investments in the game that we are ready to accept in swap for tokens intended for early investors.

If you have something that can be useful to us, welcome, you can also become an early investor.

LMAO, you're an interesting one, aren't you? You continue on contradicting yourself. First you don't have an allocation for your team, and then you decided to share the early investors pre-sale token with the team because they are "early investors" [paid in time] upon being asked if the tokenomy changed, and after talking in circles, you said that it was the plan from the beginning, and now, when asked why doesn't it show dedicated allocation for team, you said as quoted above.

And regarding the team, I assume that means the decision was made by the two full time employees? Or the part-time also has a vote?
I think we'll leave the process of making internal decisions outside the scope of this correspondence.

Actually, I'll beg to differ and say that the process of making decision of changing tokenomy shouldn't be internal or even happening at all. You ask for a funding here through token sale, it is very unethical to change your business proposal, the one that people use as one of their consideration to invest in your project by buying your token, unilaterally through your internal team's decision, i.e. because you deemed it fit. It doesn't evoke much confidence at all, does it? If it has to happen, it should be through your community agreement.
894  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Tutorial] of getting live price of Cryptocurrencies on Google_Spreedshet on: January 03, 2024, 06:16:27 PM
I appreciate your effort and the purpose of this thread, and I have no intention to derail it, but isn't there a more efficient way to track our portfolio than using spreadsheet? There are price tracking apps that integrate themselves with rate of certain exchange or to global rate, like BlockFolio... before it got rebranded and met is ultimate fiasco. They also come with feature that give us periodic notification when the token we watch increases or decreases on certain percentage that we can set.

I barely check the one on my phone because I currently only keep my eyes on selected few tokens and I track their price through an exchange so I can know the exact rate of my portfolio, but I am aware that Delta [the one I installed] alert me every time ETH or BTC jumped or dropped certain level.

And then there's TrustWallet that also give us the rough estimate of the total fund we have in our wallet.

Forgive me for not being familiar with this chain, but where can I see how much is being hold by each of these top holders and how many of these holders are the team? I also peek at your channel and umm... there aren't much members on it? Those on the channel are all of the holders?

No worries! You can look up the token on any Ravencoin Asset Explorer.

Here's a popular one: https://rvn.cryptoscope.io/asset/?asset_id=043198f7b74a1745ff1fa7c68ce14babce32a658

In regard to the discord, we just launched it a few days ago so people are still filtering in, the token has been distributed to over 20,000 Ravencoin addresses, though some holders may not participate in social as much as others. There are zero holders that are "members of the team" as there is no team. Jackdaw was 100% distributed with no founders reward or tokens set aside.

Interesting. How do you plan to set the initial price? Will it be like the old projects that "leave it to the market" where the first person selling the token will set the price? Or will it be predetermined through a system like a vote?
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Game of Mages Token ($MAGIO). Pre-launch airdrop on: January 03, 2024, 05:42:16 PM
Now, where do I saw the allocation for the team? Nowhere in your tokenomy, and that's the problem and the question here, because later on, apparently the early investors allocation are now allocated for team, as per your own statement. If you argue that team members are early investors that invest their time, then allocate some fund for them from the very beginning instead of taking it from what's intended for other category. Seems like a bad planning, is it not?
No, it doesn't look like it. This was the plan from the very beginning. You impute to us, your vision of the situation.

And regarding changing the tokenomy "if we think it's better for the project", how many people is in this "we", again?
We are developers (2.5 people). We're sure that tokenomics is balanced, but we don't exclude the possibility that we'll see some opportunities to improve it.

Oh my gosh, that's relieving to know that it's been your plan from the beginning, that explains a lot, like why the tokenomy said "5% pre-sale to early investors" instead of something like "2.5% to early investors" and "2.5% to team", or that you said,

[...]
However, now we are allocating tokens to the team and volunteers from tokens intended for early investors - time spent is a more serious investment than money.
[...]

yeah, that clearly shows you've had that plan in your tokenomy.

And regarding the team, I assume that means the decision was made by the two full time employees? Or the part-time also has a vote?
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Game of Mages Token ($MAGIO). Pre-launch airdrop on: January 03, 2024, 04:13:19 PM
[...]
And the answers to the questions.

None, that's why I asked, that's the whole point of my question. There wasn't an allocation for team on your paper [archived], and then they suddenly share allocation with early investors because... you decided it to be that way?
I don't understand where you saw the allocation of tokens for the Team?

The team members are early investors like everyone else (they only invest their time).
If you buy out all the MAGIO tokens intended for early investors today, there will be no new tokens for the Team.

Does it mean other part in the tokenomy also subjected to changes the way you will them?
Let's be honest - if we think it's better for the project, yes, we can change the tokenomics. But I don't see any reason to do that. Tokenomics is fine.

You might want to look for the definition of "volunteer".
Thanks, I know it.

And regarding changing the tokenomy "if we think it's better for the project", how many people is in this "we", again?

This is the Van Kush Family Coat of Arms, in the UK we would have to go to the Lord King Lyon to get Certified, but we are in Texas.

I wondered why "Van Kush" rang a bell... this is the same project/group/people behind this old project of someone's wife who will tokenize soap? Why don't you use your old account and what happened with those projects you have in the past?

Umm... there is this feature called "forgot your password" that'll help you re-gain access to your account. Or opt-ing to answer security question, in case you set that feature up.

Well, given that the "merit/smerit" system is precisely what tanked activity on the forum, I'm not really sure why anyone would want to export this confusing monstrosity anywhere else.

ICO spammers are pretty much gone, so there's no need for it anymore, and a simple seniority vs posts ratio would have been sufficient in the first place.

I beg to differ, merit/smerit not only effectively prevent spammers, it also makes account farming and selling rather difficult as simple post ratio no longers enough to raise rank and make it worth more. It was and it still.

Will check with BT mods to ensure is not going to cause a conflict don't want to be the cause of spam like what happened at Reddit

Go ask theymos.

I am confused. You previously didn't have any allocation for team, and then you do now, where does this token come from, then?
And where do you see the allocated tokens for the Team?

None, that's why I asked, that's the whole point of my question. There wasn't an allocation for team on your paper [archived], and then they suddenly share allocation with early investors because... you decided it to be that way?

Does it mean other part in the tokenomy also subjected to changes the way you will them?

We are guided by the principle that time is money. Therefore, we believe that team members and volunteers are the same investors as others and do not single them out in a separate category.

You might want to look for the definition of "volunteer".
