This is getting hilarious:

Bitfinex has Introduced Chain Split Tokens (CSTs) trading Pairs BCC/USD, BCC/BTC, BCU/USD, and BCU/BTC:

https://www.bitfinex.com/posts/195

so right now core tokens are $800, unlimited tokens are $190. gotta admit i don't really understand it but hey core is a larger amount.
Speculating on a "fork event"  Shocked gee, why didn't we think of that lol

Got to luv it  Grin

Who sold at the bottom?

And bought alts at the top?
lol ya really, but not me!   Grin

I am only guilty of selling ZEC to low early in the day... but still came out nicely for a day, and I'm not done yet lol

And have not sold any BTC...
943  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 19, 2017, 12:11:13 AM
Ah yes I believe we are making the turn upwards  Smiley

ZEC is taking a beating simultaneously tho  Shocked

Oh well its been a fun day on the alt side
944  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 07:22:03 PM
So, should I get rid of BTC and use ZEC? If so, why?
Or is it better to wait for BTC to stable?

Do you think it will raise in the next weeks or is 1200$ the highest we will see in months?
My guess is, if BTC gets back up to 1200 ZEC will drop. Sell ZEC now and hold and hope BTC goes back up  Smiley

EDIT: NM I see what your asking lol,,, hold on to your BTC
945  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 06:52:02 PM
So all the alt $$$$ is going through basically one exchange, Poloniex.

And then there's this:

What could possibly go wrong?   Roll Eyes
That explains it lol (poli) I managed to withdraw some BTC earlier  Smiley

This gives a good overview of where all the nodes are at right now. Interesting, the way I am reading it is BU nodes at 33.1 %

http://xtnodes.com/
No. Why are you preaching something which you do not even understand? BU nodes are at ~8% at best (see here: https://bitnodes.21.co/nodes/), or more realistically at 2% (see here: http://luke.dashjr.org/programs/bitcoin/files/charts/software.html).

Yeah, you can twist it anyway you want. Semantics of mining node vs a regular node. Most miners are in China yet most non-mining nodes are in the US (United States--1814 =27.87%). The point is that the mining nodes will determine whether the code gets forked, not the regular nodes.
Very good point! well put.

whew ok, that's looks better  Wink

Thx for the link and your input on this
What you were looking at is :
Quote
In the last 24 hours (144 blocks), Unlimited + Classic hashrate is ~1366 PH/s (37.5%) of the total Bitcoin network (3642 PH/s).
If you compare this to the nodes + the desires of the economic majority, you can see how something is obviously wrong. Miners should be working towards the interest of the users and the economy, but in this case they aren't. The reason for that is is because a *certain* mr. Jihan is controlling pretty much all of the BU hashrate (he just diversified it under other pools that suddenly popped up with hundreds of petahashes). Roll Eyes This is a better and simpler way to view the current total (signalling): https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/pools?resolution=24h and you can see individual pools signalling here (when they mine blocks): https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC

People are panicking that we are dropping down to $1000. I love it. This was a far off dream not that long ago.
Half a year ago, $1000 was a dream. Now, people are panicking because we are back to $1000? How times quickly change. Cheesy
Got it! it is a tad confusing though lol  Wink

Sorry to ask but where to read more about BU and Segwit? there is not much info here... and even a big nothing in the mining section.

It is very difficult to find anyone that will discuss BU or Segwit. I wish there was more discussion about it but nobody has an opinion for one or the other.
Isn't that the truth. I think most of the people bitching about it really don't fully understand either of the options. (me included lol)

Both hope to solve the same issue however. Just BU at some point could trigger the hard fork. Segwit would only be a soft fork. Just the sounds of a hard fork spooks people as it probably should lol

Ok rip nonstalgic btc. Lets jump on the ZEC train guys? We must keep increasing our money with 50% a day
BTC isn't going anywhere.. its just going through the motions...  Smiley

However I am very excited about ZEC the last couple of days....
952  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 04:57:24 PM
Well at least we are getting back up over 1000 as expected  Wink
953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 04:53:50 PM
So what is the new big crypto > The mighty ZEC? Or monero? Dash or Ethereum?
All the above lol
954  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 04:53:05 PM
Actually lost money when i was buying at $1090 cause I thought that was the bottom.
Bought more this morning at $1020 then got f'd again when it dropped literally 5 minutes after buying to below $990. Roll Eyes
A total of $93.97 lost just for trying to buy bitcoin at the drop with in a 12 hour period is very sad for me right now. Cry

Your talking about 90 dollars ?? are you serious ? In my opinion if 90 dollars is a hard hit for you better just stick with your day job and not dabble in this sort of something

Ya really, I've lost more than that in the last 24 hours on ZEC,, sold coins at 45 thinking it was near top, and this morning its been hitting at 72.00 ish....

If we only had a crystal ball  Grin
955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 04:44:37 PM
Just waiting for people to come to their senses and BTC will be coming back up... I think people are over reacting to FUD and fear of the unknown
956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 04:14:06 PM
You will make it back, be patient  Smiley
957  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 03:50:39 PM
I dare say this would be an ok time to pick up some cheap BTC.... for those looking to buy  Shocked
958  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 03:46:51 PM
ZEC has made up for more than my BTC loses today  Grin

Now if only BTC would turn back around... I honestly didn't think we would dip this low  Huh
959  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 01:37:37 AM
def going under 1k. At some point. Possibly soon.

Eth likely to hit $100+ this year.
Yes on ETH but not so sure we'll dip below 1k...  Shocked

I think we will see a major alt really step out on to the stage this year... perhaps ETH? but I wouldn't bet on it lol
960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2017, 01:33:59 AM
I'm not selling any BTC till we see 1200 again.

And I'm sure we will soon. There's a lot of hoopla going on for nothing lol
