I think most here do not want to see another huge fail like Gox, etc. tarnishing the image of all crypto's in general... thus feeding "all those who don't want them" we don't need to give more ammo or negativity to the crypto world when GAW unravels and falls apart and many lose their money/BTC......

I'm really shocked on how BCT 'community' handles things, I now know why there are private and dedicated communities now.
I'm just shocked you can't spell BTC right lol

So news sites should not cover a companies release of a product because some people do not like them? I will also say that the title is GAW Claims not me claiming it. I have no once said it is not a big deal peoples email addresses and balances were seen. It was and is a bad thing. I have never put anyone on ignore until now. I report about a breach and ask the company involved what happened as no other site bothered. Fine if they want to spew hate that is fine. I'm done responding to it and reading it. I never personally attacked anyone or made fun of their situation. I don't wish on anyone what I deal with each day not even him. But I am done responding. There is no need for that. That is why people who are on the outside think Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies are not serious and the playground of people they don't want to deal with. Too many people cannot debate or disagree without resorting to something like that. It is not just about GAW stuff either there is just so much hate between different groups and philosophies in here instead of discussion and learning.
"No private data lost" is a blatant lie. Data that was previously not public, was made public. That is the very definition of losing private data. You claim to publish the good and the bad but in reality you never publish the bad, you censor any slightly negative comments, and publish nothing but GAW press releases/advertisements. "it was not a massive data leak or a breach" https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/paybase-security-issue-cloudflare-glitch-showing-static-data-customer-sessions-no-data-lost/Those are your words, not GAW's. Either way they are completely false. If GAW said that, you should have commented that it's not true, but that doesn't matter because YOU are saying it, and now you know it's false. If you are legitimate you will change those words, if you are not you will not, it's very simple. I went back and re-read the article and it is nowhere near the level on the level of a news report as more of a softball session with a GAW PR rep. Injecting his own commentary at the end colors the overall purpose of the article as a friendly PR blast that "GAW said it was okay, so there is nothing to see here". Ever notice when anything goes wrong at GAW its always someone else's fault? sorta reminds ya of someone else we know strong lack of accountability here..... again

Have you noticed the pop up ad when going to that site, looking for talented writers? lol well they sure are desperate for them, Gee I never considered myself an "extremist" but ill be happy to take on that title in the name of what's right for the crypto world. and it sure isn't paycoin Like I have said, we already have Bitcoin so who needs paycoin? ( besides Josh and his get rich quick dreaming cult like following ) who are most likely in so deep they can't afford to get out now. I think we all know that newsbtc.com is a proxy for Josh/Gaw anyways lol funny article non the less

and paid merchants get fiat not xpy so that in itself is a constant dump.
https://paybase.com/merchant.phpConvert to USD* You may request a withdrawal daily - your cash will arrive in your connected bank account within just a few business days. *Coming soon.
This sou'nds like merchants who accept XPY are stuck holding XPY, until "soon" arrives. Holy hell, i hadn't looked at that site but i just realized they basically stole coinbase's whole idea and site / marketing etc etc .... brilliant innovation there, genius indeed... and now he's tweeting about a virtual crypto credit card? What in the actual fck is that? https://twitter.com/gawceo/status/550030592147226624I have never seen so much bullshit in my crypto life, much of his following must be total newbs.... And then ones that aren't, are in for a quick buck at their expense. Such a farce lol

Thanks for the shocker, i almost died laughing: Steve Jobs always launched Apple products late. Always. It's a fact. Look it up. Steve Jobs actually produced something new and innovative, not rehashed BTC stuff.

And yet, all those people that bought last November still have 1/3 the value they once had. Awesome.
And yet, all those people who bought in November of 2012 are sitting on a 20-30x profit. Awesome. lol, so true!

Just wondering if anyone actually knows anybody that plans to use paybase for anything, outside of the obvious flock on HT? I sure don't. So to me it just seems like a pretty small very selective audience. So how can a coin or concept succeed with such a small base of users. And many of which I'm sure just want to sell their PYC. Can't see it getting very far.
Same could be said of Bitcoin outside of THIS forum. Not one single person in my extended family or my friends use, buy, or trade bitcoins. And judging by 2014, neither does anyone else really... Where as you have a point, that is the point, so why would we even remotely need another coin that really offers nothing more than BTC can do.... besides, BTC has a massively greater acceptance already and core development, and so forth. There just is really nothing much to write home about with paycoin. I still say its just another alt coin, that will never be BTC no matter how hard Josh try's, and will in fact fade away into the sunset with all the other coins. Albeit, he and many others will make money before that occurs. A year from now there won't be much to talk about, except remember paycoin? Beats me. But clearly Bitcoin isn't working. People don't use it. The general public has either ignorance or apathy towards it. How is that going to change? Or is it? Based on what? Your anecdotal evidence? I think the fact that a couple hundred million in venture capital, plus the fact that now 10+ BILLION dollar companies accept Bitcoin directly, begs to differ. But what do I know. BitPay just sponsored a college football bowl game, and aired two commercials on TV. I guess they didn't get the memo... And yet, all those people that bought last November still have 1/3 the value they once had. Awesome. And yet, all those people that bought last November still have 1/3 the value they once had. Awesome.TYPO? I think you meant to say GAWSOME

I tend to disagree, BTC is working? its found a floor for the most part even if in the low to mid 300's , taint to shabby. Had it never soared to over 1100, we all would be thrilled at 300's. And all/most the big retailers pretty much except it now and growing everyday. I'd say its a bit over mined right now, and regulatory concerns have held it back some, but its still on track.

Oh, boy. Here it is. https://hashtalk.org/topic/25650Here is the bottom line:
Will GAW use its resources to help ensure you can use your Paycoins in Paybase at a $20 value? YES Will everyone be able to rush and sell every Paycoin they own at the same time for $20? NO I just love to read the comments after he post anything good or bad.... the followers just gobble it up regardless of what he says. I hope they can read between the lines" in that post.
