941  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for September on: September 04, 2023, 07:21:56 AM
Base on this article: LINK
Quote
On the other hand, September is the worst month to invest in the stock market. It has the worst average returns, with the value of stocks taking a nose-dive that period.
Also look at this picture coming from: https://bitcoinmonthlyreturn.com/

Looking at the 2 things that I shared, it seems like the bearish trend will continue for the month of September. Just looking on the picture alone, out of the 12 years, only 4 of them are in blue meaning Bitcoin ended the month of September with a green candle. Another one is that, Bitcoin has been down in the month of September for 6 straight years, so most likely we might see Bitcoin on an another red candle this month.

Of course, anything can still happen and we might see the streak getting broken we don't know, but I watched a video a few years back telling that the last 3 months of the year are often bullish for the Stock market, and includes the crypto market because the price movement are kind of the same, so after this month, we might see Bitcoin's price starting to go up at the start of October. Just be patient guys. Smiley
942  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers won't mind kicking those who are already down on: September 04, 2023, 06:59:06 AM
You can compare those scammers to criminals. Well, scammers are criminals as well, but the point is that, they don't care about yourself, your feelings whatsoever. As long as you're their target, they will do what they can just to get money from you.

That's why we as investors need to remain vigilant at all times. Don't fall out with these shitty emails. Always be observant, always look at the website that you're visiting. When I was starting to know which are scams, and which are not, I often watch some Youtube videos, and that helped me a lot. Not only 1 video , but many videos. As for this FTX comeback, maybe those who lost their money in that FTX drama a few months ago are the ones who might fall to this trap. I just hope that they will not fall into this one again, or it will just add to their burden.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 04, 2023, 06:18:05 AM
He's not a good player to trade for Giannis. There's no question that Davis is talented, but it's a big gamble for the Bucks to accept Davis because he's known to be injury-prone. While we're not hoping he will get injured, history has shown that he has been plagued by injuries most of the time. This is also the reason he was traded to the Lakers from the Pelicans.
The Bucks don't want him. PERIOD.

Can Davis be the franchise player of the Bucks? How can you put your trust into a player who's injury prone, and anytime, there's a chance that he might be out for the whole season? If healthy, he is a double-double machine, and one of the best bigs out there, but there's an "IF" on it. His performance last season is pretty well. Lesser injuries, and played well, but still there are still doubts if he can sustain to play that way knowing that he's been injured, and play only a few games for a number of years in the past.

The Bucks don't want to risk getting Davis for Giannis, and they will rather find another team that can give them better players than the Lakers. I believe those who has many draft picks are the ones that has the highest chance in getting him.

I don’t think the Bucks will trade him. They have to get every game out of him they can before they fade back into irrelevance. Giannis doesn’t want to be traded either. He wants to run out his contract and then sign with a major contender to create a super team. I think Golden State makes all the sense in the world, or maybe the Lakers if they were able to dump AD or something happens to Bron.
For now, Giannis might not to get traded, but like he said in an interview, if he sees that the management isn't going to a point where they don't want to win a title, then he will be opting out, and will not sign that extension.

The brother knows that he has a huge value, and many teams are interested in him if he don't sign the contract. That confidence is at it's highest, but we know what a player like him can contribute to any team that he will go. Golden State? Lakers? I respect your opinion, but I have a different one. I'd rather pick the Thunder, or the Spurs as the ones who has a higher chance in getting him.

Assuming that he will be traded, the Bucks will go into a rebuilding phase, picking some draft picks, and some good players. Bucks don't have young players right now aside from Giannis, and some bench players, so if they will trade Giannis, it would be better if they will just get younger players that has a talent. I'd rather go for the Thunder. The Thunder can just give Holmgren, Giddey, some role players, and draft picks just to get Giannis. That would be a better trade for the Bucks. It's a win-win for both teams because just imagine SGA, and Giannis in one team. I just watched it online, and it seems good.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token Promotion on: September 04, 2023, 05:41:54 AM
Tell me how to promote the token? And which exchanges have the cheapest listing?
Social media promotion, paid advertisements in social media platforms, thru bounty campaigns here in the forum.

Right now, these are the things that I know companies are using when they want to promote their project. The first 2 that I said is the most commonly used. The 3rd one? Yes as well as we've seen many bounty campaigns coming out on a weekly basis, but I still believe that there are many more companies who are maximizing the popularity of social media platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, and X (Twitter) right now, and using it to advertise their project, and to scam people as well.

Which exchanges have the cheapest listing? I don't know which exchanges, but I believe those unpopular ones are the ones who are offering token listing for a cheaper price compare to larger, and more popular ones like Binance, and Kucoin etc.

"anonymous founding member"
That bolded text alone is enough already to say that this will turn out to be a scam coin. Add also the fact that it's a meme coin, and we know the reputation that meme coins have in the crypto space. Meme coins has a high chance of getting abandoned, or it be a rug pull. Same happened with PEPE.

I mean just looking at their website alone, and seeing the team members as anonymous is enough for an intelligent investor to stay away from investing to this project. How can these investors trust a group of anonymous members? How can they throw such money, and hoping that in 1-2 years or even more, they will get profit.

Unfortunately, they don't know who they will be suing because they're "anonymous". Maybe one of the team members, and one investor are just neighbors? Maybe one team member and a few investors are just like a few blocks away. Nothing new when it comes to altcoins specially with meme coins. Well, investors will only learn if they experienced it. Hope they will learn from this if they lose money.
946  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: September 02, 2023, 03:07:46 PM
Pay rate, longevity.

Pay rate - I think for most of the people who are into Bitcoin-paid signature campaign, they know this already, and I also believe that this is one of the main reasons as to why people are moving from one campaign to another. I remember the time where whenever Chipmixer has an open spot, I see 5 or more pages of users who are applying for it (including me), and most of them are into Bitcoin-paid signature campaign.

Longevity - Most of the Bitcoin-paid signature campaigns that I ever joined has been there for a very long time with exception to Rollbit where I started joining since it's launch, and luckily it's still running 3 years I think after it first started. I remember Yolodice has been running for years already before I joined. Same with Stake.com, and now Bestchange. I always consider the longevity of the campaign. Yes there might be some campaigns out there who are paying higher to their participants, but the question is, is that sustainable? That's the first thing that comes out to my mind, and I will decide base on that.

There might be some here who has other factors as to why they're switching campaigns, but I don't want to overcomplicate things, because that will just make me stressful.
947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best suited place for bitcoin symbol's before or after amounts? on: September 02, 2023, 06:16:42 AM
I've seen amounts written in words like 1BTC 1 BTC but not like BTC1 BTC 1 so that's easy.

I'm asking if the best place for symbol's at the beginning or end of amounts. I've seen both styles. If you're writing amounts where's the best place supposed to be BTC1.23456789 or 1.23456789BTC. Which way do you prefer using the Bitcoin symbol.
Bitcoin's a currency so I guess the format of how other currencies are being written is also applied on this one.

Correct me if I'm wrong with this one. If you are using a symbol like BTC, normally it's being put at the first part of the number. For ex. BTC1 or BTC2. It's the same as $1 or $2. If you are using words like Bitcoin, or satoshi, or dollar, you can put it after the number like 1 Bitcoin, or 2 Bitcoins. It's like 1 Dollar or 2 Dollars or 2 Pesos.

In short, if symbol, before the number, and if words, after the number. Cheesy
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free promoting a project by managing careless manager! on: September 02, 2023, 05:22:12 AM
Why need to participate bounty:
Because working from bounty you can earn money. Here you can participate in signature, social media all different sectors but all these jobs are not easily available. So you have to work here with time and pain.

You should research in Bounty section where there are many bounties who are running bounties of $500, $1000, $5000, $10000, $15000 dollars. This is not logical at all because it is a very small amount where unlimited hunter can work. So after a few months of work you get $2, $5, $10, $30, $50.

A manager is getting good money as his remuneration but a hunter is just wasting time. So make yourself experts to work on bounty and abandon the bounty of such a budget.
Fell free to quota because of my little experience.
Tell this to all bounty hunters out there who are spending their precious time posting Proof of Authentication, and bounty reports in different bounty threads.
TBH, they're like AI bots where whenever they see a new campaign popped out, they will immediately flock, posting Proof of Authentication, and what's worse is that they aren't reading the requirements. They'll just post there without any reading whatsoever. How stupid they are.

Like you said, these bounty hunters are earning a few bucks only, and they're weeks or even months promoting that project. For me, it isn't worth it. Yes I did it back when I was a newbie, but when I did join a signature campaign that pays us thru Bitcoin, I stopped it immediately. Yes participating in bounty campaigns can give you some few bucks, but the question is, is it worth it for them? The amount of time they spent just for a few bucks. One more is that, there's no guarantee that they'll get paid in advertising that project.

Make yourself experts, eh? Well, I agree with that. I'm not even an expert, but I realize that joining into these bounty campaigns isn't worth my time, so I guess that a person with enough knowledge will soon realize the same.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Unlocks One Billion XRP, What will impact on it’s Price? on: September 02, 2023, 04:38:09 AM
This is the biggest drawback as it doesn't have fixed supply and the developer team can pump and dump the price anytime by either increasing or reducing the supply of XRP according to their benefit. This is an open manipulation and I still wonder why do we even consider this centralized coin as crypto, I think we all should give up on XRP and switch to other promising altcoins.
Doesn't have a fixed supply? Base on Coingecko, and Coinmarketcap, it has 100 Billion supply. So you're saying that both these websites are wrong then? I agree with you that they can pump, and dump it though, but what's making me curious is that, despite of the backlashes that Ripple has received over the past few years, it has been on the top 10 still in terms of Market cap.

This just shows that the community behind it is large, so large that it can't put the project down despite of all the negative thoughts that surrounded the project for the past 3-4 years I guess. Open Manipulation? There's always a chance for that since it's a centralized project so it might be, or it might be not.

I don't know why people here are very pessimistic about Ripple, and it's unlocking of 1 Billion XRP. Are you long term holders of Ripple thus you see this as a negative one. Increase supply, same demand = price goes down yes, but what's the best thing to do when the price is down? Isn't it to buy more to at least grab the opportunity? I mean I'm not a trader, or a holder of Ripple as well, but I believe that this move by them is an opportunity for us investors to get some profit at least. This news didn't have any effect still on XRP right now, but I might take the opportunity to at least buy it for short term if it will have a negative effect.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 02, 2023, 03:32:47 AM
Suddenly I'm seeing a lot of talk about the Suns trading Bradley Beal...  I don't even know if that's an option or something they would want, but I'm hearing names like Donovan Mitchell and James Harden.  I doubt the Suns would be willing to take on Harden as he's a huge risk and has already said he wants to be the number one option on whatever team he lands on, but Mitchell might be a legitimate option if they were trying to flip Beal.  I'd personally rather have Beal as I think he fits in better with other stars, but Mitchell is an elite player when it comes time to show it.
If I will pick between the 2, it might be a controversial one, but I'd go with Harden rather than Mitchell.

Harden is more of a PG, Mitchell is more of a SG, Booker is more of a Shooting Guard. Harden, and Booker at the guard position would be better than Mitchell and Booker. Harden might be into many controversies in the last few weeks, but his passing abilities is one of the best, and in fact he's the top in the league last season in assists with more than 10 APG. Harden already adjusted his playstyle when he came into Brooklyn, and in Philly. The once all-star who is scoring more than 25 PPG is now scoring below, and now focusing more on passing, and that will benefit the whole Suns team who has many shooters.

Anyway, this might just be a rumor, so like you, I will also pick Beal as well, but I will not be surprised though if they will get Harden.

Are there Other AI coins that intrigue you? How well do you think aitech would perform in the next bull mrkt?
My apologies in what I'm saying, but it seems like you are promoting the project which is AITECH, and Bitget which is the exchange.

Sorry if I see it that way because there have been many threads here popping up out of nowhere, most of them are being done by newbie-ranked users like you, and they are sharing about a particular project which is very new, and if you're a reader of that one, you can already see that it's more of a thread where the OP is advertising a particular project. This thread isn't different from those.

DeFi, NFT's, ICO's and many more in the future. It's good that AI didn't get that much hype compare to how overhyped ICO's and NFT's are when they got released. Currently, there might be some AI projects popping out, but they aren't gaining that much attention in the media. Correct me if I'm wrong though because I browse crypto articles on a daily basis, and I don't hear any of those AI projects at all. Is it finally time for AI coins? I don't think so, but hey... anything's possible so we might see them getting hype during the bull run at least.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS secures regulatory approval in Japan, will trade against yen on: September 01, 2023, 08:14:22 AM
What do you think about buying EOS?

I think EOS popularity is increasing. Japan want to make its trading possible with their local currency.
~
I did a quick search on how many people in Japan owned cryptocurrency. Base on this website.
Quote
It is estimated that over 5 million people, 4.0% of Japan’s total population, currently own cryptocurrency.

5 million people. Not all of them are trading right? That amount of people aren't that significant as well compare to how much the market cap of EOS is right now. We don't know as well how many people will hold EOS because of this. Overall, I don't see this as a catalyst for EOS to move even higher. The years where it remained silent caused the project to go down, and it might be the cause as to why there are many people who are supporting them years ago, aren't supporting them now.

I might be wrong though (and I'm always wrong Tongue), and maybe this might be the start of the project making some new developments, and making some noise again in the internet world. I just hope that this will be the first step of them towards the development of the project. Will I buy it? As of today, no but I might consider. Will do a deep research between the developments of the project, then I will decide base on that. Smiley

I draw my inspiration from the saying: "you will regret more for opportunities you never took than those you took and they went bad"
Ahhh you let me remind me again on that 2021 bull run where I didn't took the opportunity to sell a big portion of my portfolio. Only a few clicks away, but I let those profits wither. Anyway, I already moved on from that one, and in this upcoming bull run, I already made a strategy on how will I sell my assets.
Quote
Re: How passionate are you buying Bitcoin now?
How passionate? What do you mean how passionate? I mean I can't apply it though. I did a quick google search and what I saw was "showing or caused by strong feelings". In investing, I always set aside my feelings, and emotion because I don't want that to decide for me. I want to be emotionless when it comes to investing. Feelings? Set that aside, and focus on your goal. Focus on you strategy if you have.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is exchange based tokens worth for hold? on: September 01, 2023, 06:44:20 AM
As an investor, i bought so many exchange based tokens! Bnb, uniswap, kucoin (kcs), cake, houbi (ht),  FTP and so on. Undoubtedly those exchangers are so big and reputable. I though those altcoins will pump if exchange get larger during time and if exchange add more pair with their altcoin on their platform, then price will boom but most of those are like shitcoin, dumped 70-80℅ in long run except bnb. So what do you think? I'm no longer going to invest any exchange coin anymore!
When did you bought these exchange tokens? If you bought it last 2021 then I guess it's quite normal that you see them dumped at least 70-80% because of the bear market that happened next year.

TBH, most of the coins that you shared, and bought aren't a bad exchange at all. BNB, KCS and HT has been running for quite some time already. Uniswap on the other hand is the first DeFi, and I guess it's still running. Cake is the first DeFi under Binance Smart Chain, but over time it became a shitcoin. In general, investing in exchange tokens isn't a bad idea, but I don't recommend them for long term holding, not even BNB which is the most popular exchange right now.

Over the years, there has been numerous incidents where these exchanges are losing money because of some bugs or hacks whatsoever. I mean I don't know if I can trust these exchange tokens knowing that anytime, they might be the next victim of these hackers.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin movement: my thought on: September 01, 2023, 06:35:34 AM
No need IMO.

Whenever you hear the word cryptocurrency, what's the first thing that comes up to your mind? Isn't it Bitcoin? When somebody searches cryptocurrency in Google, what's the first thing that comes up? Isn't it Bitcoin? Why the need to advertise it in various sports events when it already is becoming more and more popular as years pass by.

I understand that there are some altcoins that are being promoted in different sports events like the Crypto.com Arena, the old FTX Arena from the Heat, Crypto.com being promoted in MMA as well, and many more. They need it because they're less popular in comparison to how popular Bitcoin is right now. Another one is that, who will pay for the advertisement fees? For sure they will not promote it for free right?
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 01, 2023, 03:45:39 AM

Warriors were talked about because of this, he could have the ball, go in, and dish out to Klay or Curry and that would be amazing for them, and teams wouldn't be able to collapse on Curry, since Giannis would be able to actually play good too, so everyone would have to try to stop him, if not then he will score, if they do then he will pass out to greatest shooting duo ever. Not saying that trade will happen, of course it won't but at least I can say that would be a better fit.
Like you, I also thought of that thing as well, but like you said already, him going to the Warriors is almost impossible because they don't have the assets needed to impress the Bucks front office. Giannis' worth is at least an all-star, a good role player, and at least 5 first round picks, and the Warriors don't have that. Which team has the highest chance of getting him? Thunder, Spurs, and the Knicks are the best choice since they have all the assets. This is just basing on one of the videos that I watched on Youtube a few hours ago.

Word has it that JaVale McGee is going to sign with the Sacramento Kings. I think he’s a great pickup for anyone, but will certainly help the Kings off the bench. Any big bodies to help beat up opposing teams when Sabonis is on the bench will be a welcomed addition in Sacramento. The most exciting gimmick in sports, the beam, will be on full display next season.
I hate the fact that McGee has been benched when he's on the Mavericks. Well, McGee is more of a traditional big, and with today's pace of the game, he will be having a hard time coping up since he's mostly a rebounder, and not a shooter.

I was surprised that the Warriors aren't getting him as well because he's a good fit there, but anyway, him with the Kings as their back up center would be a good fit I guess. A back up for Sabonis whenever he's off the court, can provide at least 8 rebounds if given the time, and a threat on the paint as well.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your altcoins for bull session (Between Rank 30-200) on: August 31, 2023, 07:22:26 AM
So are you excited for upcoming bull session like me?
No.

I've seen the first bull run back in 2017, and I was a newbie at that time thus, I don't know what happened at that time. The only thing that I know is that market went up, and went down the next year. No any feelings whatsoever. The 2nd one was in 2021 where I didn't felt any excitement, but disappointment, and regret because I didn't sell a huge portion of my holdings at that time. I just let those profits wither. I'm only a few buttons away from getting it.

I'm not excited for the upcoming bull season because I know that it will happen, and at the same time, I might make unnecessary decisions when I feel excited.

What altcoins you are holding?

A little bit of Ethereum, Cardano, Crypto.com Token, and Atom. Most are staking coins because I'm a long term holder. I feel a bit of regret about CRO token though. Cheesy

Are you planning to hold ONLY Layer 1 altcoins? Or some more altcoins for More profit?  Kindly share your altcoins name if those are ranked from 30 to 200, according to Cmc and coingecko.
Layer 1 or Layer 2 it doesn't matter.
As long as the project has a bright future, and has a use case that's beneficial to us investors then I will buy it.

I don't understand there are so many bounty in bounty section. Because a YouTuber made video and I saw. He says make account and than earn money with bounty and I don't have knowledge?
This is the problem nowadays. People are flocking in here in the forum, without any proper knowledge whatsoever, and they're hoping that they will earn money here. Get a life OP.

You want to join the best bounty and earn money? Gain some knowledge at least. Do some research. Gain information that will help you. You aren't just registering here, hoping that you can earn hundreds of bucks by joining some bounty campaigns out there. Just so you know, those bounty hunters out there are earning a few bucks joining in different campaigns. For me, it isn't worth my time especially if I have a job. I have this feeling that those who are joining in those bounty campaigns in bounty section are those people who don't have a real life job, and just hoping on getting some few bucks here.

I just hope that OP will change his mindset with regards to the forum, and the bounty campaigns. You can't earn money here without proper knowledge OP.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 31, 2023, 05:48:51 AM
That's pretty disappointing if Giannis packs his bags and join a superstar in another team. I mean he's already accomplished something only a few could achieve and doesn't seem to have a serious falling out with teammates or management. Yes he's demanding something to make the team more competitive before he extends contract but I think that's normal for any player with ambition.

His presence in the Bucks keeps the East exciting and competitive with Celtics and also the Heat.
You're leaning towards the loyalty of a player thus, you see this one as disappointing, eh?

There are certain players who value loyalty over championship, and there are some who value championship over loyalty. Giannis falls on the 2nd one, and there's nothing wrong with it. The perfect example with this is Durant back when the Thunder are up 3-1, and then they still lost to the Warriors. The next season they joined Steph, and Klay to build that OP team. What's the reason? To get a title, and Giannis is almost the same. If he feels that he can't a 2nd title in Milwaukee then what's the reason for him to stay there? He values titles more than loyalty.
It's not about loyalty. I wasn't even thinking about that. My disappointment would come from the concentration of top talents in only a few teams. You mentioned Durant so let me use him as an example too. I think joining GSW and forming the "splash family" back then should never be replicated. Great job for getting the ring that he was chasing but that move eventually made the league quite predictable and boring.
Well, I also hate that move by the Warriors as well because that killed the competition big time, but on the other hand, the Warriors have the cap space in signing him, and at the same time Durant is a free agent at that time thus, it's a perfect recipe for an acquisition. I'll say again that I'm a Warrior fan at that time, but I hated teams killing the competition.

With regards to the concentration of top talents in only a few teams, I believe that many superstars right now value the championship over loyalty. Title will be forever in their NBA career, but loyalty? Some might forget them that they stayed in the same team for many years. The only popular superstars that I know who stayed in the same team for decades are Kobe Bryant, and Nowitzki. I feel your disappointment, but I can't blame those superstars if that's what they wanted. If they care more about the titles than the loyalty then so be it, and vice versa.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 30, 2023, 08:24:32 AM
I definitely wouldn’t say it’s impossible. If Giannis plays out his contract he could go wherever he wants. It’s just a matter of who wants to make the room for him or pay insane luxury tax penalties. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume the Warriors would pay whatever and buyout whoever in order to pair up Curry and Giannis.
Can you please tell me which players can the Warriors give to the Bucks just to get Giannis? Because looking at their current roster, I don't think that the Bucks are interested in getting some Warriors players. They have 2 first round picks for the next 2 years. The Bucks are the oldest team in the NBA last season, and they need younger players definitely. If they want to get younger players, they need to get it from another team, and not the Warriors.

Yes it's still possible, but what are the chances of it to happen? All of the teams right now are interested in him already, and keeping an eye on him after his statement in one of his interview. The only question now is which team has the players, and draft picks that's enough to get Giannis. Unfortunately, I don't see the Warriors up there getting him, and TBH I don't also think that the Warriors will try to get him. I mean they have Looney as their starting Center, and that rookie as their back-up. Why the need for a 3rd one?

That's pretty disappointing if Giannis packs his bags and join a superstar in another team. I mean he's already accomplished something only a few could achieve and doesn't seem to have a serious falling out with teammates or management.
