941  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of new crypto Trojan Malware Saefko and InnfiRAT! on: August 10, 2019, 07:23:33 AM
We need a better SEARCH function for Bitcointalk forum,
as I did search before I posted, and I can't track every single post...
I noticed that searching for recent posts I always get some weird incorrect results...

This this forum search guide may help in case you have not read it yet https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3127909.msg
942  Other / Meta / Re: Hired shillers/thread bumpers? on: August 10, 2019, 07:11:59 AM
I just saw this user bumping almost every thread on the Services section with mostly "UP". I don't think he is hired but still the activity is still not normal. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2091220;sa=showPosts;start=0

943  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: please guide on: August 10, 2019, 06:37:45 AM
I just joined, please take direction from the masters to participate in this prize campaign? thanks.
Don't call anyone master here. By prize campaign, you mean airdrops and bounties correct? If it is, you can find them all here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

But before participating in any of the campaigns, familiarize yourself with the forum rules by reading this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1042322.0

This thread will also help you here, a comprehensive guide to bitcointalk https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2534500.0

Don't repeat the mistakes many of us did here when we started. Don't just focus on earning, make learning about blockchain/cryptocurrency a priority and you may end up earning more than just doing airdrops and bounties.
944  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The 5 Rules that would have saved me THOUSANDS. on: August 10, 2019, 06:25:10 AM
1. Never invest in ICO’s - They are complete scams.
Does this cover all start ups doing token sales in another form like IEOs or STOs?

What are you guys' rules? Post them here! It is all about helping others save money!
Never catch a flying or falling knife. I learned that the hard way so that trading rule is going to stick with me for a very long time.
945  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Credits: exitscam? on: August 09, 2019, 08:28:43 PM
I don't understand why moving of dev funds which was already unlocked as stated in the roadmap/whitepaper is already considered exit scam. Does it really matter where they sent it? Those unlocked tokens are meant to be sold from the beginning to further fund the project.

The funds from their hardcap that they collected are now slowly vanishing
Those funds are meant to be used. Did you expect it to stay there forever?
946  Other / Meta / Re: Limit signature campaigns on: August 09, 2019, 08:15:43 PM
I heard they keep saying that the forum has enough money and without traffic from the spammers the forum will be better off. Personally I think forum will lose most of it's traffic and people will move on to something else. Only the true bitcoin lovers will stay here.
This forum exploded because many people saw an opportunity to earn. I know of five other forums that will definitely welcome btc and more altcoin signature campaigns. Some high-ranking users here are well-off (maybe) and don't really need the added income but others will move or be more active in other forums.

I see some user here suggesting the removal of signature but still proudly wearing one.
947  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Support my flag against Nekoma2018 on: August 09, 2019, 07:52:50 PM
Flag supported on Anyone but I also cannot determine yet if he was really part of the decision to reject participants who removed signature. I find the image of the chat you posted inconclusive. What were the replies to your comments?

This Nekoma2018 is another bounty hunter turned bounty manager in an instant. Someone hired by a team to save cost. A push over.
948  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: [UTOPIA] Pilipinas Bounty on: August 09, 2019, 05:58:31 PM
Since BTC paying campaign, allowed siguro dito yan.

949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 09, 2019, 05:31:13 PM
Carmelo in Miami would be great, he would actually get some minutes and they would actually not care if he does what he does, they are already tanking and they do not really have any chance at the title so that means Carmelo could play like he always plays and nobody would mind.
What  Huh That doesn't even make sense. Why would the Heat even want to pay a guy like Carmelo millions if they're tanking? Or are you saying they need Carmelo to drag them down even further?
950  Economy / Economics / Re: Australian Tax Office allows you to claim for lost (incl. stolen) private keys on: August 09, 2019, 09:19:47 AM
I'm interested in how this will turn out. My only concern is, if you make a claim that you lost your private key, wouldn't you make it to some watchlist of possible tax evaders or something?
The Australian Tax Authorities will likely create a list of public addresses of wallets with missing/stolen priv. keys then monitor them on a yearly basis. I am not sure if they are really equipped in monitoring wallets with stolen keys. Just thinking of how they'll come after lying citizens gives me a headache.

I mean, do people really declare the amount of bitcoins they have in the hardware wallets?
Who knows. Some people do, some people don't.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee’s Bold Statements on Privacy Coins, Monero and Apollo on: August 09, 2019, 08:56:54 AM
What exactly do you want to know? There is really nothing to talk about here. The man made a mistake and he apologized.
Also, where is the bold statement by McAffee about Monero that you mentioned in your title?

John McAfee tweeted about how there have been reports of Apollo locking the issued coins and how this violates the whole purpose of being privacy coins.

In response to this tweet, Apollo Platform replied, there had been no reports as such.

Later, John McAfee deleted his tweets and apologized to the company, And tweeted that My apologies. It seems that I was trolled about Apollo. As best I can tell the company is unable to control any coins that have been issued. My bad. It's still a great coin.

What's your take on this?
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippine Basketball Association Finals Discussion on: August 09, 2019, 07:42:07 AM
They should do that a fair and square game to bring some reputation from the league, it's very tough for every officiating officials to handle this series, Right calls will bring back the dignity of this league, this two super teams deserve a fair series from the league officials, refs needs to watch out and not to allow this fans to be disappointed once more.
Dignity?  Cheesy
Some fans will always e disappointed no matter how the refs perform. Even in an honestly officiated games, expect some error unless video reviews for every call or non-call will be implemented.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: August 09, 2019, 07:30:14 AM
Of course some might say that "isn't it obvious? To bet again and to win again" but this ain't the real thing, various reasons may come up for every individual.
Yes, others may have different mindset after winning but betting again to win is a real thing. Sometimes it depends on how much I have won. If I won big, I feel ecstatic and usually get out. I feel "normal" like I wasted time if I won small and, in most cases, I use that small winning to bet again.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 09, 2019, 07:15:47 AM
Melo needs a lot of skills to showcase before the league scouts will be intrigued to him again. Better work it out now. Words will not help him.
Like what skills exactly? He can shoot in the post or outside the arc. He also has good ball handle for a guy his size. Imo, he is still close to Lebron's abilities. The problem is probably his work ethics in the past and his ego.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 09, 2019, 07:03:05 AM
it will be fun to see how Lampard manages this Chelsea team, till this transfer ban is lifted.
With the history of the Cleasea owner and managers, Lampard could be out before the ban is lifted.

On the other hand, this is a great opportunity for the team's youngsters to start and get the much needed minutes/experience on the field.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 09, 2019, 06:52:43 AM
I doubt that there are really people who lives off gambling winnings alone. Even the professional gamblers must have some investment somewhere else. Those huge winnings they get may sustain them for one year or two but gambling alone won't feed anyone for a decade or more.
957  Local / Pilipinas / Re: More Bitcoin = AMLA Red Flag? on: August 09, 2019, 06:31:33 AM
Do you think its easy to convert that 10 bitcoin to fiat money and put it on a bank? or
AMLA will freeze your account because its very suspicious and put your money on risk?
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: too many exchanges and will increase in the future, what do you guys think about on: August 08, 2019, 07:54:47 PM
Don't stress yourself about these new exchanges popping out every now and then, there's nothing we can do about it. You can simply ignore those new exchanges you don't want to use. I just hope all these exchanges gets registered first before they start launching.

I am not really excited about his fight. Other than Shevchenko, I have not even watched or heard of the rest despite their impressive looking records. This might turn out to be a flop in terms of PPV.

Sure we can discuss in public. Just felt PM makes things private. Not sure how to clear the negative rating
Maybe you should visit this thread again and provide what @Vod is asking from you. You were refusing to show those information being asked in public before which makes me wonder why you are open to discuss things in public now.
