Hey, guys.
I've had a failed/pending/processing withdrawal for quite a bit now, and I'm not sure what's up? I did many withdrawals after this one, and I got the tokens in my wallet, almost instantly.
Withdraw #3351258. Created on 1/03/2018 10:10:00 PM
Major Problems & Cryptopia trying to play things down.. But being arrogant and contemptuous, as usual I think its the beginning of the end. Even if they get things sorted, they've pissed too many people off.. You've hit the nail on the spot. Cryptopia needs to fire some people. Their admin or PR people has turned into childish idiots who's only out there to make a buck and it's all your fault mentality. That's not what the crypto space needs. They need customer oriented people who's there to provide a service that excels other exchanges. In the end they are only hurting themselves. More like they need to hire people as it's obvious they're way over their heads.

I am glad to see what appears to be a little bit of balance. I understand the ideal of one CPU one vote, but many folks who would argue against ASICs will also argue in defense of botnets. The botnet defense usually goes like: "They are securing the network, and they are incentivized not to wreck it by their financial stake". This exact same argument can be used for ASICs. I believe the question at the heart of this idea is clear: Is it desirable to stick to the original 1 CPU 1 vote vision? And if so, is it FEASIBLE to continue to enforce that vision? With ASICs already in the wild it is a very valid set of questions. If the answer to either is NO, then arguably we should move towards not only allowing ASIC development, but making it as easy as possible. Disclaimer - I have been fairly firmly in the "original vision" camp for a long time. But over the years I have grown more amenable to considering other options. If ASICs are readily available from several manufacturers/wholesalers/retailers at reasonable prices like CPUs and GPUs are I don't see why Monero shouldn't embrace them, but as of now that is not the case.

Guys,
I forgot my wallet password.
Any idea how to unlock ?
You're shit out of luck unless you remember it, or at least try to remember what characters and how long it may be to reduce the amount of brute force required to guess your password.

Cryptopia is currently in scheduled maintenance mode for 30 min !
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause
And we are back online !
LoL... I was about to ask and you posted "back online"would this maintenance make all previous stuck withdrawals get processed faster now? and any updated info on which coin currently still have withdrawal issues? so we can avoid withdrawing it Some new things, for deposit and withdraws have been added ! Regards Lafu @Lafu You seem to either be unable or unwilling to address the issues head on here. I sincerely hope that its the former & not the latter. I have 2 simple questions for you to answer (if you can). 1/ There are a lot of rumours that Cryptopia are insolvent and withholding funds to allow some breathing space. Can you advise if this is True or False ? 2/ if the answer to question 1 is false, can you arrange for all "processing" transactions to be either processed or cancelled Today ? Your current waiting time for tickets (28 days) raises a red flag for me... 27 or 29 days might be believeable, but 28 days seems just a little too convenient !! I'm not trying to stick the boot in here, I'm simply trying to get the answers that have been skirted around and avoided for some time now. 1. There are a lot of rumours that Cryptopia are insolvent and withholding funds to allow some breathing space. <-------< Not true ! 2. If the answer to question 1 is false, can you arrange for all "processing" transactions to be either processed or cancelled . <------< No i cant !3. Your current waiting time for tickets (28 days) <------< Depends on the tickets but maybe if you have luck it dont takes so long , we working on it !4. I'm simply trying to get the answers <---------< Hope you have got it now !How hard can it be to keep wallets in sync and up2date? It's not brain surgery. Monero wallet is again few hundred blocks behind...

The project seems to be quite interesting. With the abbility to be friend with my mother coins that can be mixed with this token into single.
Much wat. So confuse That's artificial intelligence I believe.

I've heard rumors Monero is going to fork away from Cryptonight. Any rough estimates on when this is going to happen? I haven't been keeping up with much in the crypto world.
The word on the streets of Monero is cuckoo cycle but there's still work to be done, my best guess is it wont happen this year, but soon.

Just dropped a request on Electroneum official webpage for BANNING this miner. This ASIC will ruin mining experience. XMR already announced that they would ban this shit.
It will be funny watching ETN devs doing another great job on their Github and then rolling it back because whole net stop working ETN has devs? TIL Last time they paid a guy from the monero community to apply a patch that was written months ago because they had no idea what to do with it...

What will be necessary to become an Officer?
Years of neglect and abuse followed by alcoholism, lack of morals and addiction to donuts.

What about cryptobridge? I like that dex, is pretty reliable and has different algos listed.
0 CN coins on there though.

Also, many people out there are still using 9.7 version miner 'cause it works with older gpus, I'm sure I'm not alone when saying this, but please could you also update that version of the miner as well? It would be very much appreciated if the old HD 5970s and 6990s could keep on hashing XMR even after the PoW change. All the best to you.
Agreed! Claymore v9.7 is the only version that still works with VLIW GPUs like Radeon 5770. xmr-stak/xmrig-amd don't work with them... Someone start us a petition so Claymore puts the old Cayman/Terascale binaries back in at the minimum... Currently have a dual core rig running a 1GB Sapphire HD 6950 and a 2GB Asus R9 270X. It would be a shame if that 6950 became obsolete before it hashed its last hash... If we could somehow get both the older binaries AND Cryptonight-lite support in the same program Id be in heaven. You can always use sgminer.

So is it a FPGA or ASIC? Or it has gender identity crisis?
It should be FPGA since it support 2 algos. Just like other Baikals. According to girl, its ASIC. Also, it doesnt support 2 algos, cryptonight-lite is just cryptonight, but with half of the scratchpad. According to Voskcoin it uses FPGA. I think that too... like they say on the Baikal Giant B thread those 2 Cryptonight algos probably should have been those 2 algos that they promised to add for Giant B. I know the differences between Cryptonight and Cryptonight-lite, I was porting the latest XMR-STAK-AMD for Aeon... I don't understand ASICs too much so I might be wrong. Wouldn't it be possible to reprogram the FPGA for the new pow change albeit not trivial? If that was the case I'd assume that would have been their main sales pitch... In that case, monero is screwed. As soon as they release a new algorithm, Baikal would already be working on the new firmware. Not really, they can always ditch cryptonight for something else like cuckoo cycle. But yeah it makes a whole lot of difference if they're FPGAs or ASIC, if only they gave bit of more information before asking people for +$30k...

It should be FPGA since it support 2 algos. Just like other Baikals. But AEON algo is not really different from cryptonight apart from the size of the scratchpad.

What happened to the hoard of reddit supporters? They have no issue funding marketing bullshit so they can line their greedly little pockets but when it comes to the most important core parts of the project they are no where to be found. It's almost as if security is kicked from the back seat into the trunk. I bet if we put up a funder to get some second rate hack actor like Seagal it would be funded in 10 minutes. https://forum.getmonero.org/8/funding-required/90007/bulletproofs-audit-fundraisingWe want Carlos from bitconnect! Come on now 170 xmr in 3 days is not bad at all.
