261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Safe way to store many bitcoins? on: November 24, 2017, 12:23:01 PM
Paper wallet.... the only safe way.

I also use a paper wallet for large amounts and put them in my bank safe.
Steel beats paper, paper is easily destroyed, write down your private key in steel https://cryptosteel.com/

If you are going to use the company that you have linked you are spending $79 minimum to engrave on a piece of steel, when that is fairly basis to do. All you have to do is go to your nearest scrap yard and buy it off them for a few dollars and write it yourself. Although, a paper wallet if stored correctly is more than enough and doesn't require any investment at all.
I don't know about you but $80 is really nothing for me, I got better things to do with my time than to spend hours if not days engraving hundreds of little steel tiles.

You should be hanged by your balls for using the Monero name in vain.

BCH pump seems over for now... back to BTC fast! Going over $8K again!

and guess what - there is even a BTC Fast if you like https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoinfast/

Have fun! Tongue

BCF is a joke, check out Bitcoin Plus  Grin
No, no, check out Bitcoin Diamond, everything else is a joke.

Only BCH is real fork, others are fake forks, especially btg, btd, and sbtc .etc.
I know you fail to see the irony.

267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 24, 2017, 08:04:15 AM
XMR snagged a new ATH today, nice "welcome back" present!  What else?   Tongue

Still no globee, multisig, trezor, or ledger.  Therefore, bigger gains to come.  Same old same old.  I think we are gaining from Asian pump rotation, but also from rebalance of BTC/BCH gains. Whatever caused that Google trends spike on "monero" I would like more of it!

My guess is coinhive.

For good or worse, that generated a LOT of attention. No such thing as bad press right?
No multisig you say https://github.com/moneromooo-monero/bitmonero/tree/multisig
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: November 23, 2017, 10:22:00 PM
Does some one have a guide on how to "compile" or whatever needs to be done with a repository like DJm34 ccminer

https://github.com/djm34/ccminer-msvc2015

I was looking for the basic release where you just put the batch files in but I couldn't find it.

Not sure how to get it going. Says path not found when i run a normal batch through teh folder. . . Clearly I need to alter these file some way just not sure waht I'm doing.

Not even sure the proper terms so google is no use either. Hopefully i've made enough sense to relay what I'm trying to do.
You don't have to compile it https://github.com/djm34/ccminer-msvc2015/releases

So you have to be holding some Bitcore in order to receive 3% payments. Kind of interesting

3% of 0 is 0.

270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to pay $8200 for 1 BTC if you are a newbie? on: November 23, 2017, 09:48:59 PM
Buying bitcoins at current prices is a huge risk as no one know that will bitcoins fall or rise after reaching new heights like it has reached $8200 for the first time so it can drop a little bit or it can continue rising. So i recommend either trying investing small amounts or wait for drop of bitcoins. And how does being newbie affects in investing of bitcoins, well if you know anything about investment and does that works you are good to go but if you don't know, do some reading about it.
Well if I had usd tethers laying about, I'd be buying Bitcoin right about now. That shit is about to hit the fan.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Monero on: November 23, 2017, 09:43:04 PM
Step 1
Register to this link = https://minergate.com/a/36aeefa12ad385d84ab5fb2e
MinerGate has its own built-in wallet in order to allow users to start mining.

Step 2
Next you need to download the Mingergate software and install it, the website will detect your operating system and present you with the correct version. Install and run MinerGate.
Link = https://minergate.com/downloads/gui

Step 3: After you open and install the setup, you’ll be presented with the option to start smart mining. MinerGate automatically detects your equipment and chooses the most profitable cryptocurrency to mine according to your hardware, market price and difficulty.

Step 4: Click “Start Mining” and choose the number of cores you want to use. If you choose to use fewer cores you use on your GPU/CPU, you’ll have a slower hashrate, but your hardware will be under less stress. MinerGate will now create a DAG file before it can start mining, wait for it to complete this process, once the DAG file is created, you will automatically start mining!.

And that’s it! You are officially mining Monero!

Please don't do that. Minergate skims hashes, eats babies and works with Satan.
There are quite a few pools to choose from, see http://moneropools.com/ plenty have a much lower fee than mingergate, I recommend choosing one that donates to core devs.
Most have a "Getting started" link where you can find information required to get started mining Monero.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 23, 2017, 09:04:08 PM

Y R U so konzervative with ur estimates?
Don't u think it iz on the way to 0.3-0.5... If btc cash made it, y not xmr?
Monero does not have a fake Satoshi to take it to those levels.

Guys, how long it take you to send BCH from one exchange to another for let say 12 confirmations? It took me 5 hours last Sunday. So where is the promised speed of BCH? Please share your experiences.

Here the speed https://twitter.com/ProfFaustus/status/932247391788519425 https://twitter.com/ProfFaustus/status/929276396295393280

Hey Claymore!
Any word on an update to this?  Us pitcairn folks really want to use 10.2 but are stuck using 9.7
Thanks for all you do!

I will release an update for dual miner in 1-3 days, then I will have some time for this miner.
Dual Cryptonight miner? Cryptonight along with what?
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 23, 2017, 09:49:39 AM
Bitcoin Cash is the first encrypted currency to be forked from bitcoin. The industry has affectionately called it the eldest son of bitcoin, the money has no way, the price of BCH recently just a few days blasting several times. If it were not bifurcated, the other sons would be drawn to heaven Wink Grin Roll Eyes
Yeah the first after more than 20k forks.

@AztekPhoenix Show me sequential 8mb BCH blocks that have been mined and I'll dump my cold storage for BCH. No idea which block explorer you use or if you're on some other superior BCH chain but from where I am sitting BCH never even reached the dreaded 1MB block size that inspired the fork.

You are talking nonsense is better than  MONERO only CLOAKCOIN. In addition, it is 6% per annum .

Great cloak bro, you can now fight crime and wear your underpants above your pants.

those who believe in monero, what do you think about the onion?  Huh ^^

It's garbage that has nothing more going for it other than shills pushing it, kind of like are doing here. Not to mention the paid sig campain that they are calling an airdrop. It is nothing but one big lie and as long as you scumsuckers get paid to shill it it will continue to drag idiot n00bs into it.

So if it is a big lie how it is possible that I am getting over 1000USD weekly just for the Signature?

Simple. That is obviously a lie also.

it is not a lie.
You get every week an airdrop, Arround 7% of your Holding. All the Holdings are getting for free during the airdrops between week 1 and 18 and now its arround 1000USD weekly before it was arround 600USD weekly.

Better read first before you tell Bullshit.

Edit:

Here you see the weekly Reports,

last time over 410 USers took part on the Airdrop.

https://deeponion.org/report.php?date=2017-11-17

And you see its real
Yes, onion is so much better than Monero. Why don't you fuck off to their thread and tell them that?
Give a man some coins he'll spam for a day, teach a man to fork coins he'll fork them all day long.
