Any kind of promotion is always paid. Either with money or some other way, like exposure. Its just business and most people who know how to think logically will understand that advertising is not something which is unfair or evil, its just the way businesses reach out to people in hope of converting some clients. Which business does not do promotions? I think most of us would never willingly promote a business that we do not agree with morally. Of course there will always be some desperate people who would do anything for a dollar but thats a minority group.
I am not morally opposed to gambling because even though it can become harmful to a small percentage of gamblers who develop a gambling addiction, overall it is an entertainment activity. People pay for bungee jumping, even though a tiny percentage of jumpers fall to their deaths every year. Does that mean we should stop promoting such things? No. Everyone has the free right to choose what they perceive as entertainment and if they wish to pay their money for that entertainment, then more power to them.

No more bear markets please.
Have they become unbearable? Crossfit is for men, Bitcoin is for men as well… Guess what the dude is.
The man. Sorry guys I had to keep my hat in the closet, so I am posting without one for now. No problem, between earning extra Bitcoin for doing something you already do (posting) and simply wearing a hat, earning more Bitcoin is the most Bitcoiner thing to do. Also, the OGs know what your hat looks like and the newbies don't. Secret hat club - We keep out hats in our hearts.

I would think one of the biggest, if not the biggest reason for cryptocurrency gambling being much more addictive than fiat gambling is the community aspect. The crypto community is quite a comfy place to be and when others in the community gravitate towards gambling, they kind of pull in the others with them as well.
Its hard to find a fiat community for gambling because you would have to actively search for it and join it yourself. And even then its not really as exciting as the crypto community.
So group pressure is definitely a big reason, I would think.

I am starting to lose hope that banks will collapse. Even if when fiat goes belly up, There will always be sheeple who need others to take responsibility for holding their money. For some reason those people think that if they lose their money, its over. But if someone else loses all their money, they will pay them back someday, because they are "obligated".

Lets hope that China does not invade Taiwan. Because they definitely will mess up the growth of Taiwan's crypto adoption, as well as many other things, such as Taiwanese lives. Regulations on crypto may sometimes sound harsh but I think they will be aiming to build a legal framework which protects people while not hindering progress. FTX has shown us what happens when we leave out important regulations. There will always be people who abuse the flawed system. Not sure how I feel about them not accepting NFT's. Many altcoins can be considered much much worse than NFT's and yet they seem to be happy to accept those without much question.

The strangest bet that I have ever had was when I was a kid around 6th or 7th grade and it was about who in our friends group could get to kiss a random girl first. Anyway, long story short, I was cheated out of my few dollars and a Pokemon card (a japanese dark Charizard, if I remember correctly), because one of the kids who bet me broke the rules and planned to share the win beforehand with a girl he knew. Anyway, a good life lesson not to trust anyone. Verifying is better.

I refuse to take the International Criminal Court seriously ever since they let themselves and their justice be intimidated and impeded by threats from the US. And were the American war criminals prosecuted? No. They dropped everything because the US told them to drop it.
So why would anyone care if they issue an arrest warrant for the Russian president, Putin? Are you guys seriously expecting anything real to come from this?
To me it all looks like a publicity stunt and an empty threat.
The ICC is a joke.

Physical casinos used to be fun. But slowly they are becoming more and more digital because the physical casinos do not feel safe enough to let someone play slots with quarters. So its basically entering a fancy internet cafe, funding your account and playing the same stuff you could play at home on your own home computer. Its just not fun anymore.
This was my disappointment when I last visited Las Vegas. What a sham.
But internet gambling is still fun, do not get me wrong. I just am saying that physical casinos are dying out. I can still remember the smoke filled room with slot machines. You put in a quarter and instead of pressing some boring button on a screen (now its a digital button you can press only after you "funded" your digital account), you actually pulled a lever. How fun! It actually made winning more exciting.

why bitcoin protocol cannot use pos instead of pow ?
Oh not this topic again! Bitcoin does not need POS and will never implement POS! Look at what happened on the first day of Ethereum becoming POS: over 46% of all Ethereum POS nodes were owned by simply 2 addresses. Do you understand the danger ETH is in right now? Its basically a centralized blockchain at this point, meaning a small group/ a few individuals have total dominion over the ETH blockchain. Do you really want this to happen to Bitcoin? To become subverted of control by rich and powerful individuals? We need to make sure that Bitcoin remains truly decentralized. Otherwise it becomes a CBDC. Which is why the governments are shilling so hard with their bullshit environment protection narrative.

Don't get too crazy. Consider this a lucky win rather than some "strategy" that you have mastered. Because that kind of mentality always leads to huge losses in the future. Especially for the people who believe your "big wins". That being said, congratulations to your on your lucky win and I hope it happens again! Just remember to divide up your risks and gamble responsibly. That lucky feeling could betray you at any moment. I know from experience, just like many people here.

What is he basing this off of? As much as I love Bitcoin, its definitely not going to reach 1 million in just 90 days. Maybe in a few years, sure. But not in 90 days. Those kinds of volatile volumes are a thing of the past when Bitcoin was still in its baby shoes. This is just a publicity gag. They probably have already signed a secret contract... Cmon now....

People can say whatever they like, but when pizza is purchased with Bitcoin, it tastes that much better I think that if more pizza places would accept Bitcoin, they would see a nice way to market their business, seeing as pizza and Bitcoin have a sort of tradition among the community. In fact, I would even go as far as to say that any business that accepts Bitcoin would be favored over a business that does not. Simply out of respect and love for Bitcoin. But I guess not many people see the marketing opportunity yet.

Fighting on "Cinco De Mayo" has been a tradition now
Cinco de Mayo is May 5th. Not 6th. Tradition broken. Not going to add a poll, OP? Regardless, I would say that Canelo Alvarez is going to be the favorite here. Especially if you look at all the losses under John Ryders belt, 32 wins and 5 losses compared to Alvarez's 58 wins and only 2 losses. Although Alvarez has been showing weakness, especially against the opponents in his recent fights. His Dmitry Bivol match did not go so well and Canelo's hand surgery is making me feel a bit uneasy. Still, John is the obvious underdog here and my money is not on him.

No regulations, no license, no KYC.... Is your casino decentralized, open source and autonomous? If not, then I would be very hesitant to deposit any money there. Not only does this scream "red flags" all around but even if you were not planning on something shady like stealing your users funds or scamming them out of money, what happens if it turns out that you are operating outside your governments laws? What happens if the law finds you and shuts you down? What happens to the funds?
Sorry, as much as I hate KYC, a casino with a license is more trustworthy to me.

Few days back, I came across a post encouraging people to use the money well wishers gives to newly born babies and mothers as a gift to invest in bitcoin for the baby, then I was pregnant, just delivered 3rd of march. My baby and I has made up to $50 if converted just 10days after giving birth. I am definitely going to use the money to invest in bitcoin this year for my baby so that in the next 18 years my baby will be proud of the decision I took for him. Im so glad I discovered this platform this year, I believe I am going to achieve a lot from this forum Below are lovely pictures of my cutie, my bundle of joy.🥰 https://i.imgur.com/aILveaK.jpeghttps://i.imgur.com/hC9kWoy.jpegNot sure why you pixeled his face, seeing as all babies look the same there really was no point I wish you all the best, both with your Bitcoin investment and your raising a child. Hopefully that little Bitcoin investment will become something that helps you and your baby in the future! Be careful about who you trust with investment advice on this forum. There are a lot of good, honest, down-to-earth people here but there are also some bad apples. Although if you really wanted him to have a nice nest egg in the future, I would recommend investing more than 50 dollars.

I think this puts to rest those conspiracy theories about Chipmixer being a honeypot operated by government agencies.
I doubt this will affect regular users but there is a possibility they could try to shut down this forum. There is already a similar precedent when Deep Dot Web was seized by the FBI. It would be an overreach for them to go this route but if they really wanted to shut down BitcoinTalk this would be their best opportunity. As far as I'm aware Chipmixer didn't advertise anywhere else besides this forum.
Oh yeah, there was such a rumor going around. I remember that! But then again, the conspiracy theorists will just make up another conspiracy. For example, the newest conspiracy could be that the honey pot was discovered or they decided it was not viable anymore and it got shut down. And the entire seizure is just the FBI's excuse to make it look like it was never a honey pot. Honestly, I did not really believe the first conspiracy theory so I am not going to believe any subsequent theories.

There are some people who can dream and some others who dare to it. Many of those who can dream big but some times can't make it through traditional platforms. Today I will mention the names of some people who started their business life with the help of gambling money. Who were initially professional gamblers later became reputed businessman. Many of whom are now active philanthropists, supporting various charities. If responsible gambling can be practiced then luck can be expended. He can make himself known differently in a shortest possible of time. Some professional gamblers and their business Sheldon Adelson- The founder of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, The Venetian and The Palazzo in Las Vegas and Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Kirk Kerkorian- He founded MGM Resorts International, the airline company and Trans International. Steve Wynn- He founded Wynn Resorts, Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Las Vegas. Calvin Ayre- Founder of Bodog Entertainment. Terry Benedict- Founder of BJB Properties. Tony Bloom- Founder and owner of the Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club and. Phil Ruffin- Treasure Island Hotel, a casino in Las Vegas and the Wichita Greyhound Park. If one tries to change the destiny he may succeed or fail but he may get a result. But there are many people in the world who only dream inactively without taking any initiative. But one should keep in mind that gambling is a risky platform. As there are lot of histories of victory, there will be defeats as well. Use gambling money as much as you can afford to lose. Successful business men and professional gamblers have one important quality which can make them very successful: They are not afraid of taking risks. And they are not afraid of losing money when taking those risks. Sometimes it pays off big time. Obviously many of their businesses have failed and lost them very large amounts of money but every now and then they hit the jackpot and raise a business up from the ground-up whoch becomes extremely successful and profitable. The average person who is not all that risk-loving will have achieved nothing. All out of fear of losing.

I doubt that Shiba Inu will ever be able to turn into a privacy coin like Monero or ZCash. Especially because Monero and Zcash are already better as they are and Shiba Inu is not really a coin but rather a ERC20 token. Which means it does not have its own blockchain, unlike Monero, for example. And as its on the Ethereum blockchain, it will never be an effective privacy token. Furthermore, I would stay away from any coin/token which is being held by Vitalik Buterin. He already sold part of his SHIB, showing everyone that he does not care about Shiba Inu, and recently he started selling tokens he does not consider "culturally or morally viable".
I am certain that its better to stay away.
