@cryptofrka looks like that you forgot to make my answers visible because I see that Coin_trader submitted his answers.

Saint-loup answers are still hidden as well, but his opponent MAAManda still didn't submit his answers so maybe its because of that?

1342  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Is It Good For Local Crypto Forum To Include Other Interest To Attract More.. on: July 06, 2023, 05:10:21 AM
The strategy is to get other people with other interests in the forum to get them to know about Cryptocurrency which is the main theme of the forum.
It does make sense to add other non-crypto related stuff, but honestly I don't think that it will help much to attract users. Older forum users are already used to forums where they spent years (that probably have crypto subforum) while younger audience prefer other means of communication.

And do you have a local Cryptocurrency forum in your country?
We did have several attempts, but none managed to get any traction. By far the biggest and the most active crypto community (when it comes to forums) in my country usually hangs out in an already established general type of forum that's been around since early 2000s and that has dedicated crypto child board. That's where I heard about Bitcoin for the first time back in 2013 and where I used to discuss crypto related stuff until 2019 when I decided to join this forum.

1343  Economy / Exchanges / Re: multi account on binance with same ip on: July 05, 2023, 09:46:14 PM
is it allowed to open two accounts with same ip,  two account of different house members like two brothers with same phone.
If you meant registering account using the same mobile phone number, I don't think that you will be able to do that but you shouln't have issues having two accounts registered on the same IP.

I have Binance account since 2017, and few years ago I visited my brother who created his own Binance account while I was visiting him, meaning both of us had the same IP address and we didn't have any issues whatsover so I don't think that you will have either. After all, you have to go through KYC in order to use Binance so there's no worry that same person will create both accounts. At least not theoretically that because I know that there people who created more Binance accounts using their family members ID so they can get more Binance debit cards and that way circumvent daily ATM withdrawal limit.  Tongue
1344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold the altcoins and invested in Bitcoin" on: July 05, 2023, 12:58:53 PM
Now my question is, is it good for my future that I have sold my altcoins and invested in bitcoins?
Imho, its the right move. While altcoins may bring bigger profit in shorter period of time to those who know what they are doing, 99.99% of the people are better with sticking to bitcoin only because it is proven that in the longer period of time it outperforms just about any altcoin.

What you did just now I did back in early 2019 when I sold all my altcoins (many of them with loss) and decided to focus on bitcoin and i must say it has been the best financial decision ever because if I kept holding alts, I would have way less than I have now and on top of that, I would have to constantly track the market because alts have tendency to die.

The trust wallet I put my invested bitcoins in, is the trust wallet safe for my bitcoins?[/size]
No it isn't. Software wallets like Trust are ok-ish as a sort of hot wallet where you hold smaller amount of crypto for everyday use but for that amount of bitcoin that you have i would strongly advise you to get hardware wallet as soon as possible. Good ones are less than $100 and trust me, you will sleep much better. I know I do ever since I keep my bitcoin there.
1345  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Binance the next to bite the dust or FUD? on: July 05, 2023, 12:49:23 PM
What is worrying about Binance is there is an increasing threat of being cut off from different jurisdictions. I reckon if this continues and if a panic begins, I am afraid that Binance would decide to freeze all their users' accounts from withdrawals not because they do not have the funds, but because they want to save the exchange. One big panic is all it might take for Binance to bite the dust
If what you are saying is true and all it takes is bunch of people trying to withdraw money to ruin Binance, then it is a scam exchange that is misuing people's money in the same way FTX did. I mean, I woulnd't be surprised if there is some delay in case large amount of people try to withdraw simply due tehical issues but why would that mean the end of Binance?

Either way, no exchange is place to store your crypto, no matter how reputable it is.

If Binance goes down, what if Justin Sun enters with his billions and buy Binance then become the new king of the cryptospace?
Lol chances of that happening ( Sun buying out Binance and becoming "king of cryptospace") are slim to none. I am sure that he would use that hypotethical situation to promote hismelf future (as he usually do) but I don't think that he has that amount of money.
1346  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CEO LayerZero Twitter account hacked on: July 05, 2023, 10:03:18 AM
Really bad news, I don't know how scammers get access to Twitter accounts so easily if the account owner has secured his account protection well.
Well, obviously he didn't protect his account well because if he used a solid password with the combination of 2FA I doubt that they would be able to hack him.

A few days ago I saw so many blue verified accounts posting phishing links with a ton of likes and retweets. Not sure if the account was hacked or if it was a bot account that managed to pass through Twitter filters.
I doubt those were hacked accounts because it is very easy to get verified nowadays. All that you really have to do is not change your username in the last few months and not spam too much, pay the money and you get your Twitter account verified so its no surprise that Twitter is overrun with them.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 04, 2023, 03:57:50 PM
The Saudi Arabia league is not third none 10th in the world yet, but the progress their making it obvious they will be top five in four years to come except you're not observing well and following up.
Lol you serious, top 5 football league in the world in four years? Not even Saudis with their oil money can't buy that.

this big stars that's in the league already will encouraged the young stars to believe that their dream in football are real. the younger stars will be notice now globally because for the rapid changes in the league.
You can forget about young stars coming en masse to Saudi Arabia because that would be detrimental for their career and their own development. You can only improve and become better player if yopu play against the best players in the world, and they won't be there.
1348  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: July 04, 2023, 03:49:47 PM
Speaking about additional merit source then I also doubt that if any has been appointed from a long time.
Yep, last time thyemos introduced new merit sources was 2 years ago, back in June/July 2021. From what I noticed, he tends to add new merit sources in bulk after he notices that merrit shared across forum drops significantly, and until that happens I think that its unlikely that we will see new new merit sources, even if some local boards could really use more.

But if the merit source help them that will boost their confidence and we might see more progress in all aspects from Indonesian board in your next month charts.
Have you tried sharing posts from your local board in Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source? I did that in the past when our local board lacked merit and it really helped us.
1349  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+) on: July 04, 2023, 02:17:24 PM
I already adjusted my merit count but many of us maybe did not notice the difference.
How did you adjust merit count manually?

I usually don't mind the discrepancy because bot usually shows less than I actually have and for whatever reason few days ago it started show more than I have (which is kinda annoying), to be more precise it shows 5040 while I have actually 5033.
1350  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: July 04, 2023, 07:00:25 AM
As I just finished my monthly Italian board overview, I noticed the Indonesian board had another extremely positive month.
I was also surprised to see such a big merit increase in Indonesian board (first thing that crossed my mind is that they maybe got a new merit source but I was too lazy to check Merit Dashboard to see what's acually going on) but then Ratimov gave an explanation that external merit sources gave them a push.

I rmember same thing happened in Croatian board few years ago when we were undermerited and external merit sources came from time to time and helped.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 04, 2023, 06:56:03 AM
Well, honestly in Bundesliga and Ligue 1, apart from Bayern Munich, Dortmund mainly and PSG +/- Lens and Marseille, the other teams are quite normal although their big names and the name of the players they have.
I don't think that you fully understand the current gap between Saudi league and Budesliga/Ligue 1. Former is ranked somewhere between 50-60 strongest league, which is equivalent  of German 3rd league and for that kind of league to come into top 5 you would need an insane amount of money, especially in the country that is not known by its rich football history. Also keep in mind that they don't produce their own quality players (unlike Bundesliga and Ligue 1) which is another big problem.

If we incorporate the teams that Saudis are trying to build by recruiting many European players then they will be as competitive as Marseille and Lens, or Leipzig and Leverkusen for exemple. The remaining Saudi teams if they pick similar players then we will have something similar to Bundesliga and Ligue 1. Dunno if you understood what I meant.
Do you really think that all Saudi clubs have that kind of money, to indefinitely keep grossly overpaying players in order for them to come here? Of course they don't, and this trend will eventually die out, like it happened with China. I see this trend merely as a Saudi Arabia attempt to be a host of 2030 World Cup, which I don't think it will happen.

1352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 03, 2023, 07:58:34 PM
Saudi Arabia league will soon be as competitive as Bundesliga or Ligue 1 if they continue recruiting players that way. They started with Cristiano Ronaldo and every day you hear about new name coming to play there. Mendy, De Gea, Neves, Koulibaly, Firmino, Kante, Niguez, fofana...are names that joined or will join Saudi Arabia league!
Lol no way that they ever become as competitive as Bundesliga or Ligue 1. Sure, they managed to attract some players but those players are mostly past their prime and just came for one last big contract but it would take much more to come even remotely close to Europe level of football.

Imho, I see it as just another fad that will eventually pass, like it happened years ago with China.

1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 02, 2023, 03:35:48 PM
No one can doubt that Mbappe is a good player and he'd improve the squad of the Gunners but I don't think Arsenal needs such a player RN. He's got a self-centered mentality and I doubt he'd be able to fit in the team. What Arsenal needs is not just any kind of forward, but one who would be willing to share chances when he's not in a position to score, not a childish player who stops putting effort the moment he does not see the ball.
Its not that Mbappe would improve Arsenal, but he would improve just about any team in the world (except maybe Man City but I am pretty sure that Pep would fit him somehow). Having said that, there's literally 0 chance of him joining Arsenal as it would go against everything they do as a club and the most realistic scenario is that he ends in Real, either this season or the next (more likely)

In other news, I still can't believe that it looks like Brozovic is going to Saudi Arabia in the end, mainly because it might have a big impact on our (Croatian) national team as level of play in Saudi league is much lower and I am afraid that will affect his performace for national team. Too bad that Barcelona can't afford him at the moment...
1354  Economy / Reputation / Re: The curious case of forum member: rby (of the Rubycoin scam) on: July 02, 2023, 03:12:44 PM
The person currently operating the rby account has already claimed they are the creator and original owner of the rby account. In other words by default they are claiming they are the person known as Kassado who is a technical coder who created Rubycoin.
Thanks, somehow I missed that part of his post.

I don't know if you compared his post history in Rubycoin thread against the most recent ones, but I suggest you to do so because its pretty obvious that whoever currently controls the account was not the person who created it, no matter what he claims. I mean, even the post you just quoted shows the difference in English level between now and 2014-2019 period.
1355  Economy / Reputation / Re: The curious case of forum member: rby (of the Rubycoin scam) on: July 02, 2023, 02:48:48 PM
I surely know that if a DT member delights in destroying people's account by leaving red tags without proves, even if nothing happens to them, the community is seeing. And they may not be on DT for so long (for ever).
What I would like to know is whether you deny that account changed hands (you were asked that in other thread but I haven't noticed that you answered that.

I am asking because there is an obvious difference in the English level from period between 2015-2019 while being active in Rubycoin thread, and after waking up in 2022. How do you explain this difference because its one thing (and natural) to improve English level but in your case the opposite happened and your English got worse.

1356  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Exposing Binomo's Unscrupulous Practices !#BINOMO.com big scam on: July 02, 2023, 02:19:41 PM
You have to post the transaction ID or screenshot of your transaction that you did deposit money on this platform so you can verify that it is indeed a scam, so far there are two mentions of Binomo in this section but there was no proof of deposit.
There's really no need to (at least not for me) share screenshot in order to prove that Binomo is a bullshit exchange. Just one look at their inflated number of users and traders says enough. On top of that, from what I can see they are not listed on Coingecko or Coinmarketcap and that tells you everything that you have to know about this "exchang".

Not being on CMC/Coingecko is not a sign of legitimacy of course, but an exchange not being listed there at all is a major red flag.

With you posting screenshots of your deposit we have warning one valid warning here on Binomo and this is going to hurt their campaign unless they go here and address this issue.
Since they are not active on bitcointalk, I don't think that this topic will hurt them much (if anything), but it may bitcointalk members from losing their money.
1357  Other / Meta / Re: Keeping old and new Topics alive on: July 02, 2023, 01:44:27 PM
The thing is why can't we continue to keep those topics alive instead we over look them even when we have something to talk about, we prefer going for new topics.

How can we keep those topics alive instead of dumping them and allowing dust to cloud them?
There's really no reason to artifically keep a discussion topic alive if there's no real interest in it anymore and it is perfectly normal for topics to die after some time.

1359  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Mjesečna Analiza za Hrvatsku Lokalnu Zajednicu (Bitcointalk Croatian) on: July 01, 2023, 04:03:07 PM
Haha.

1360  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: July 01, 2023, 03:55:27 PM
I'm glad that we avoided a drop in activity last month because it's almost summer when there will almost certainly be a lot less activity on the forum.
I looked some data for June and you are right, we can expect pretty big drop of post numbers in some boards, which is kinda epxected as summer is coming so people have better things to do that spend time on the forum.

We in the Croatian local board are lucky that thanks to 1 member we always have solid local statistics and that saves us for now from being the worst local board on this forum  Grin
We should reward him for that effort  Cheesy
While spammovic is responsible for almost 20% of our total posts in May, if you check that table at the end of the overview you might notice that there are some local boards that depend even more on one member and in soem cases even go to almsot 50%.
