Uploading multiple images in a row is easy! Simply drag and drop all the images at once or use the "browse from your PC" function to select multiple images in one go. Plus, you'll be able to copy-paste all the BBcode in a single step, making the process even more efficient. Hope that helps!
Cheers, for whatever reason I thought that I can't that with TalkImg.

I just checked it and it works as you said, but the area where links are is kinda small and cramped up and for whatever reason I can't easily copy/paste separate links without accidently copying few or more often all of them.
1542  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: May 13, 2023, 04:28:51 PM
I'm glad that the Croatian local board is finally the best at something and that our members like to write on the forum so much, if only we had more members  Grin
I think that if not all then majority of other local boards also have the same issues, lack of new members and that's something that can't be solved easily.

When can we expect our local report?
I will try to publish it either on Monday or Tuesday but can't promise anything as I am on the road at the moment and will stay like that until end of the month.
1543  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: May 13, 2023, 07:57:07 AM
Hey joker_josue, I used your tool yesterday for my local board overview, I liked it and I plan to continue to use it going forward. One question though: is it possible for it to automatically reset every time when I click "Upload", instead having to manually click "Reset" when I want to upload more images in a row?
1544  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Kutak za kulturni trenutak (filmovi, serije, knjige etc) on: May 13, 2023, 07:36:40 AM
Sad kak sam se malo oporavio nisam ništa konkretno pogledao, trebao bih skočit do kina pogledat novi Guardians of the Galaxy

1545  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: May 13, 2023, 07:28:15 AM
I honestly thought that the number of posts this month would increase more significantly. I had the feeling that there had been more movement. But maybe it was more in the Portuguese tab...
Yeah Portuguese local board numbers went noticeably up so no wonder that you thought forum is more active. At the same time, somehow I that forum was less active last month as my I knew that my local board wasn't as active as during March,

I appreciate the recommendation! Thank you for your support.
Thank you for creating that tool!

Overview has been updated with bitmover's animated post race chart.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16419074/

1547  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do Kwon arrested on: May 12, 2023, 02:30:51 PM
@Rikafip, I read the news today, and I must say that I am not at all surprised by this decision, because this scammer did not come to this area by chance, but he knew very well that everything can be bought here with money, and quite cheaply. Apart from that, Montenegro does not have an extradition agreement with the US and South Korea, and Kwon claims that Costa Rica's passports are completely legal, and he asks for this to be checked because there is supposedly documentation that can prove it.

True, he didn't open company in Serbia for no reason and ended up hiding there, but I still don't think that Montenegro will just let him go to Costa Rica freely. Montenegro is west oriented country (they are in NATO, officials currency is euro and their goal is to enter EU) and I don't think they will dare to ignore US/South Korea request.

As for release, the authorities say that they will be housed in an apartment guarded by the police.
Yeah I saw it, that will definitely stop him if he decides to leave.  Cheesy

1550  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do Kwon arrested on: May 12, 2023, 11:47:38 AM
It looks like Do Kwon (and his buddy who was arrested with him) will be released on $436k bail each, which is really peanuts for him. This is just ridicolous, guy was arrested while trying to flee the country using private jet and fake documents yet Montengero court still plans to set to release him.

1551  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance announced LN integration on: May 12, 2023, 10:28:10 AM
And here we go: At the moment, average bitcoin transaction fee is 40 sat/vByte that means if you make a transaction with 1 input and 1 output, you'll have to pay 0.00005014 BTC that is $1.30 but Binance charges you 20 times more, 0.001 Bitcoin, $26.
What they do is so terrible, they are making tons of money, they don't tweet right now that fees have gone down and they are going to lower it again, such a shady company!
Of course they won't reduce the fee immediately because they are making shit load of money that way. I do expect them to reverse it to previous fee after some time though.

And where is a Lighting Network?
Since they just announced a couple of days ago, I don't think its realistic to have it already implemented.

1552  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: May 12, 2023, 09:35:15 AM
Its time for yet another brief monthly overview, this time for the month of April 2023.

I am making this away from my home setup (and I recently bought new laptop so still adjusting on keyboard) so apologies for possible mistakes, especially typos. Like in all previous overviews, charts and table are made using data from @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and @TryNinja Ninjastic.space. Cheers guys!

Also thanks @joker_josue for creating TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk, new image hosting site that I used for uploading these images and I suggest you to try it out!

Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Bangladesh) don't have their own local boards as of yet and hopefully that will change soon. @theymos @Cyrus, check these guys stats pls. Wink

Post activity per local board during April  2023

During above mentioned period 16492 posts were written which is a slight increase from March and 16542 posts. Honestly, I thought that numbers will be lower because March numbers were 20% higher than in February but I am glad that local boards remained with the same activity.

As always, Russian board is far ahead the others with 5027 posts (decrease from March and 5400 posts) followed by Turkish (2671 posts, up from 2250) and German (1548 posts, down from 1731)  local boards, while usual names (Greek, Romanian, Polish) are at the bottom.

Active member per local board during April 2023

While number of posts went slightly up, the number of members who wrote at least 1 post during above mentioned period went down slightly, from 1369 in March to 1322 in April.

No much change when it comes to boards with the most active members; Russian board ahead of others even more than on other charts, follwed by Germans, Turks and Nigerians and the only change in top 5 is Phillippines members reaching 5th spot.

When it comes to amount of members (percentage wise), Greek board had the most members who wrote only 1 post during April (57%), followed by Spanish (46%) and Polish (44%) local boards. The least amount of those members had Croatian board (13%), with at 2nd sport (14%) and Nigerian (21%) local boards.

Romanian board had the most members in the 2-9 posts bracked (57%), followed by Pilipinas, Nigerian and Bangladesh board that al had 47% of such members. At the same time, Spanish board had least amount of those members (27%), followed by Pakistan (28%) and Portuguese (30%) local boards.

Croatian board has the most members (relative to the total amount of active members) that wrote 10+ posts (54%), while Pakistan is 2nd (48%) and Turkish 3rd (45%). On the other hand, Greek had the lowest percentage of such members (14%), followed by Indian (17%) German (19%) local boards.

Merit shared per local board during April 2023

Even though amount of posts even increased slightly, the amount of merit shared went down from 8479 in March to 8025 in April which is a ~5% decrease. Even with that decrease, I think that number is still generally very good.

In this metric Russian board is again ahead of the others, while several big boards had a considerable decrease (German, Italian) of the amount of merits shared. Its promising to see Pilipinas board having a decent number after quite some time and I hope they continue the same in the future because they are an active local board that should have more merits shared than they had in the last year or two.

Merit senders and receivers per local board during April 2023

Straightforward charts whose purpose is to show how many members of merit system each board has, ranked by the amount of merits shared. Once again Pilipinas and Nigerian (and to some degree German) board stick out, meaning they have a lot of members sharing/receiving merit, compared to the totla amount of merit shared in those local boards.

Merit/Post ratio per local board for April 2023

And in the end of this series of charts, merit/post ratio per local board for both April and 12 months period in order to tet the more accurate picture of what's going on since monthly ratio can change a lot, especially on the less active boards.

Generally, majority of boards have a very decent numbers while only few (imho) could use a couple of more merit sources.

Local Board post race

Thanks to @bitmover, here is the animnated local board post race chart

The most active members per local board during April 2023

Last but not the least, list of the most active members across 18 local boards. Like in most months before, joker_josue (329) from Portuguese board was by far the most active in April, followed by two members of Russian board, Ratimov (255) and Smartprofit (206). Kudos guys, keep it up!

1553  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post quota on: May 12, 2023, 08:22:20 AM
I think the managers have done a decent job lately of getting users fair rates.
True, rates went up significantly in the last few years. I remember when I was looking for my first signature campaign, an average rate was $50 for Legendary member and now it doubled. Hopefully this trend continues.

Just because a user posts in the gambling section doesn't mean the manager counts the post. Most managers have a different view of what quality is as well.
That's probably the best way to force members to increase their post quality, not to count their shitposts and I do hope that managers are strict in that way.

What I like is that managers started removing below average posters from their campaigns on the regular basis, which wasn't so common in the past. If members know that they won't be kicked out of campaign unless they leave it by themsleves, their post qualiy will eventually deteriorate.

Hey Rika! I cant seem to direct message you on the forum because i'm a newbie Embarrassed but if you're interested in a free 24 hr trial, please direct message me!
I've enabled that option now.

Btw, I am currently on the business trip that will last until end of this month so I don't really have the time to test your service, but after I am back home I will give it a go.
1555  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post quota on: May 12, 2023, 08:08:26 AM
Some companies want to see 30+ posts per week( I've had many discussions about the number) but if we ask for 30+ posts per week there will be a bigger load of low quality posts than is seen now.
Are they willing to pay more for that amount of posts, or they expect to pay the same as those who ask for ~25 posts, which kinda became a forum standard?

Requirements on sections are managers trying to help a company. For example, gambling sites are going to get the most from users posting in the gambling section. Problem is, half the people posting in that section these days do not have a clue about gambling. They joined a campaign and are just trying to get paid at any cost.
If managers know that 50% (I think that percentage is much higher btw) of those who write in gambling board have no idea what they are talking about, why force it then? Isn't it better to check their post history and if you see they write in places where you want to advertise more, then you hire them? That way you eliminate the need for certain board posting quota.

1556  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yet another bitcointalk account seller on: May 11, 2023, 08:27:00 PM
There are several hypotheses for the low price such as:
You missed the most obvious one, and that is that there are no accounts for sale at all. They are purely figment of OP's imagination and low prices are there to attract naive and ignorant buyers.
1557  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: May 11, 2023, 05:50:38 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5452373.0

Fino pise u pravilima Livecasino kampanje "we reserve the right to remove anyone, for any reason, at any given time from the campaign or to change the rules of the signature campaign at any point" tako da se nemaju sta buniti po tom pitanju.

1559  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yet another bitcointalk account seller on: May 09, 2023, 10:10:17 AM
I never really had a good grasp of what the market for bitcointalk accounts was in terms of what rank goes for what amount, but if, say, the market was getting soft or if you had a member who just wanted to ditch the forum and get what they could for the account(s) they have, those dollar values don't seem to be dirt cheap IMO.  Does anyone have a sense of what a Legendary account would sell for these days?  I'm just curious.
I never tried to buy/sell account and I doubt I ever saw a legit offer, but I do know how hard it is to reach Legendary rank from scratch, after merit system kicked in and for that reason it seems unbeliveable to me that someone would sell one for measly $350. And even if you have stock of old Legendary account, one look at Services board and all those open signature campaigns should make you realize that Legendary account is worth much more. I am also curious about the real price, but I doubt that anyone would sell Legendary account for less than $1k dollars given how easy it is to earn that amout of money via signature campaign.

I wouldn't waste time other than to give him a neg, but personally I appreciate you bringing idiots like this to the community's attention.
It was literally 1 min job to create this thread and make a flag as its not like I had to dig deep for evidence, I just shared his post and that's about it. And being flagged will make it more obvious to newbies to stay away from him as only those would fall for such offer.

The fee was adjusted from 0.0002 BTC to 0.001 BTC. That means the increase is  5 time higher than before.
Yeah I know, I saw it this morning when I logged in Binance. Its not a surprise though because they make nice amount of money via withdrawal fees and that's something that they won't give up easily. It will be interesting to see whetheer they revert fee to the old one after ordinals/brc20 craze passes.

Could be a great step in the right direction. Wonder if this also includes a channel that allows deposits?
Somehow I doubt it because they specifically mentioned word "withdrawals" in that tweet.
