1301  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ColdLar — Professional Digital Assets Security and Storage Solution on: July 21, 2018, 02:18:21 PM
This is my first time hearing about ColdLar. It seems the product is sold out right now. Any ETA when we can buy again? Do you support delivery to Indonesia?
I bet they do.

Interesting project but overly priced I believe $680 bucks is too much compared to its competitor ledger and terzor which more or less offer similar wallet with a same amount of security.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes enough is enough on: July 21, 2018, 02:05:49 PM
$25 for an uber ride? $50 round trip? Shocked How much do they charge per mile/kilometer? Huh Maybe I've been living under a rock but that sounds crazy to me.
Depends on the distance and the surge charges available at that point in time. Irrelevant to the topic anyway.

Cool story. I didn't realize you lived in vegas or near to a place where gambling is legal enough to be savvy @ house games. Is it based on a true story or personal experience? Also how has MMA betting been going for you? I have not seen you post in any of the recent UFC threads for awhile. I've never been to Vegas but it could be cool to visit someday to gamble on MMA etc.
It wouldn't be coo, it would be too expensive to do that. I'm not sure how the betting system works for live matches but considering OP actually went to see the match to live bet, it would be a helluva expensive trip. I mean the tickets and everything.
1303  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Jered Kenna stole my Bitcoins on: July 21, 2018, 01:59:16 PM
Not a complicated issue at all - I bought Bitcoins through him eight years ago, when he closed Tradehill he offered to look after them for a fee - when I tried to get them back he simply failed to respond.
The mistake you made! Why would you want him to look after your bitcoins? Did he promise you a return or some profit?

I have tried every way I can think of to get in touch - he must know that I am trying to contact him and he knows why, just easier to not get in touch and keep hold of my bitcoins.
Since you will be traveling to the US, you can easily find his information once you hit the cybercrime officials. Someone has already mentioned all the information you need but not sure if that would be relevant now.

Put simply the man is a thief - seems that he is setting up others (I note the Bahamas business does not deal with US residents).
This isn't a business, right? The deal was more like a personal trade between you two.
1304  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinPot Website on: July 21, 2018, 01:49:17 PM
Haha patatas, are you for real?
I'm as real as your micro wallet.

It is a micro-wallet meant as a way to collect faucet earnings in a single site, rather than having 2-5 different faucet balances that all have a min. withdraw which is usually hard to reach.
Oh so basically, you can store money from all the faucets into a single wallet? Well, nice! Do you have access to your wallet's private keys on coinpot?

Using coinpot, you can convert btc earnings into Doge (or other coin), to combine them with other faucet earnings and reach withdraw limits easier.

If you don't see the point in this, then I believe your mistakenly extending your view on faucets to also reflect your views on faucet-related tools/services.
So it's an exchange as well? Great. I do see a point in it now. Thanks for enlightening me.
1305  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT cryptonbattle.com cryptonhash.com bitcoineasybet.com on: July 21, 2018, 01:39:57 PM
Just a simple skim over the source code reveals that they log whatever you type on that site, and that the "games" are straight-up fakes.
How did you get access to their source code? The client side code doesn't seem to do anything you mentioned. I don't understand why they're fake, because the log whatever you type to their database or because the games are fake? Neither of them has strong proofs on your end.

Someone will contact you on Telegram, point you to one of these domains, prove to you that they can control who's winning, and lure you into sending BTC to 1CTNuvDcipyWWtbT3EzPy4hmGAFE1nxgDZ.
A screenshot of the same would be much appretiated.
1306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes enough is enough on: July 21, 2018, 01:35:10 PM
Good article OP. This needs to be pinned on the gambling section lol

Don't go to the ATM. If you don't have the self control to not do that, then leave your bank cards at home. Go out gambling with a set amount of hard cash - if you run out of cash, and have no bank cards on you, then you have no option but to go home.
That is the best thing one can do. But if your self-control really gets out of control, I have been in situations where you borrow money from friends who are with you for the entertainment.

Wow it was a good read. I liked the emotions in the story. You really want the author to succeed as he's so miserable the whole time.
I have to say that I would've given up after the blackjack part. Maybe he should quit BJ for good and play roulette. He seems to be doing much better there.
Morale of the story? Don't drink and bet! I hope he remembered to wipe the phone before he threw it into that kiosk.
Alcohol and betting go hand in hand. If you're a big-time high roller,  you get free alcohol and other drugs while you gamble. This is not just in the movies but also in real life.
1307  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Locked out of Strongcoin account... on: July 21, 2018, 12:57:08 PM
I never heard about them before, but looks like is web wallet and i don't know if they're legit or not.
Nothing that we can do for you, the one who can help you is their support. When you contact them? Maybe it need time to reply your email.

I did heard about this some time ago. Apparently they've been operating for a long time now though they're not popular as you may have guessed.
I can't really give a review since I haven't tried this. In general, web wallets sucks.
In general, people should stop being idiots and use services which are quite famous and known around. I have never heard about the service either. If someone relies on a web wallet that is not on blockchain.com, they seriously need to reconsider their choices. Not that web wallets are secure but blockchain.com has a wide adoption and thus they have a good community support unlike 'strongcoin'. You see, people would be able to help him properly had his service known to a lot of folks.
1308  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinPot Website on: July 21, 2018, 12:52:18 PM
I Need To Know https://coinpot.co It's Real or Spam,
What the hell is that thing? Crypto-currency micro wallet? What is a micro wallet? And they have tie-ups with some faucets? I don't know if they're real or a scam, I don't see the point of using that service. There is some information about weekly payouts, well that does seem like a scam if you're suppose to send them some money.
1309  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can someone please tag bitcasino.io's new account? on: July 21, 2018, 12:46:36 PM
Firstly, it’s deeply saddening to see us being referred to as ‘scamming scum’. We understand that the highs and lows of playing in a casino can be emotional for players,
but it’s only reasonable to present the facts and not to mix emotion with unfounded accusations.
You literally have accusations and not some made up bullshit to take defame you. I'm not making up things, it's the accusations posted on bitcointalk and the negative rep you got from the good old Stunnah. Why would a vet like him tag you?

Unfortunately, we have been plagued by persistent trolling, threats and even having personal information such as staff member’s parents’ home addresses exposed on the forum.
Can you give links for the same? If you steal someone's money, you are likely to get those threats. There are 100's of bitcoin gambling sites in the market, no one wants to hold it against you if not for your shady behavior.
1310  Economy / Reputation / Re: SLATE.io - FAKE IMAGES? on: July 21, 2018, 12:22:28 PM
Though it is admirable what you do with exposing scam ICO, and kudos for that, you have missed the mark on this one. These are obviously two different people. One having lived their lengthy professional life in Texas, USA and one in Canada. Yes there is a resemblance.
Maybe you can ask your team member to take a selfie with today's date and time message on it? That should clear a lot of things.

What's the motivation for photo-shopping a team picture? How would Slate benefit from this in any way, shape, or form?
Millions of dollars are the motivation behind running a fake ICO to make it seem legit by photo-shopping a team member. If I convince people Robert Downey is on my team, I'm certain to get more attention in general. Same logic applies here.
1311  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Poloniex Your account has been locked 20 days 5 btc lost it on: July 21, 2018, 12:18:51 PM
Currently, it is stored in their hot/cold wallets so it's safe to assume money belongs to them. They aren't going to donate it to a charity if the case is not resolved anyway!
Well, I know about how they will store and stuffs. My point was - if they can not find a valid owner then the Bitcoin should send back to the address where it came from and guess what they won't do that. Keeping 5 Bitcoin or any amount which is not actually their, is kind of taking advantage of the situation.
That could be their secret business model. Don't give a resolution to the case thereby keeping the funds for as long s they want. I'm telling you, this is a million dollar business.

How would you explain it legally? I hope now you understand what I meant.
Speaking legally, bitcoin is not a real currency and hence there are no laws governing it. How can the above case be considered as a theft of money when there is no "legal" money involved here? Quite easy to get away with it.
1312  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CryptoModul. Trading terminal(Windows) on: July 21, 2018, 01:12:42 AM
Interesting. Just like all the good projects in the section, this project is also slept on. By the way, title is quite misleading, when you say terminal based, a user probably expects the project to work in the default windows cmd which got me excited as well. Turns out, you have written a software that simulates a terminal with your exchange. What I mean is, I expected after installing your application I could natively use windows terminal with a few commands to trade my coins which is quite fascinating lol

Isn't your source code open for public?
1313  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The biggest scammer on bitcointalk, help me to hunt him down on: July 21, 2018, 01:02:46 AM
i think they created bot accounts and do all this using twitter API. if you remember there were services for fake twitter followers, later blocked by twitter few months ago.
Could be. Twitter API, however, wouldn't allow reposting in a way that is required by the bounty campaigns. Even today, 95% of the twitter accounts created for bounty purposes have fake followers. Those services just get smarter as twitter's account audit systems.

A newbie account is barely a clue. From the looks of it, it seems like a throwaway created for that airdrop.
By all means, farming a bounty with more than 200 accounts is a complicated job. OP, good luck on your quest.

1314  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: July 21, 2018, 12:16:30 AM
@defran I'm really sorry for the delay with your withdrawal while checks were carried out, and i'm really glad it's now been processed. The documents that were requested as proof of identity are fairly common across the industry for KYC requests, we do this to ensure that our players funds are secure when certain red flags are raised.
Bullshit. Why the KYC documents are also asked during a withdrawal process and not during the deposits? By asking for KYC documents, you will be a reliable third-party trusted with confidential information about players. In case of unforeseen circumstances, will you be taking the responsibility of the data breach that might occur?

There are literally 50 other ways to make sure the funds are secure. KYC is the most time consuming, annoying and the unprofessional way of doing it as long as operating a partly illegal gambling website.
1315  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Poloniex Your account has been locked 20 days 5 btc lost it on: July 21, 2018, 12:06:00 AM
here is my story with Poloniex
i have 5 btc on my account i give them all info txid and from where i deposit they locked my account for no reason  i need any one can help me
i feel i lose my hole life what i do please its to much money

I feel sorry for you man! Did you try to submit an identity which was fake before? What is the source of your 5 BTC? Were the lying in your account over time or deposited them one time? The question that matters is: Do you belong to one of those countries where they don't offer services?

The explanation they provided is not sufficient and at this point, you should be able to file an online complaint or something.

Seems like permanent block which leads me a question - who own these 5BTC now? It's certainly not their (Poloniex) money so they can not keep it either.
Currently, it is stored in their hot/cold wallets so it's safe to assume money belongs to them. They aren't going to donate it to a charity if the case is not resolved anyway!
1316  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is the cost of building an ICO website: on: July 20, 2018, 11:57:42 PM
Since the website is just a static HTML page with animations, the cost should be low on the coding side but the designing part would be more expensive. Don't compare it with the website with ICO system and full functionalities integrated though. I'm assuming you just wish to know about the fancy landing page and not the entire ICO system. Either way, most of those templates are stolen or copied.
1317  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] ░ Godex.io - NEW EXCHANGER WITH FULL PRIVACY FEATURE ░ on: July 19, 2018, 09:14:03 PM
The website looks interesting. Are you sure you're going to survive for long without implementing the KYC procedures? Governments are actively banning such exchanges these days!

I wish you could have added more Bitcoin Forks like BIFI/BTF/BTH. They have a huge market but no exchanges are accepting deposits yet. Also, is it peer to peer? Where should I find recipients from?
1318  Economy / Services / Re: need US address to recieve product and reship on: July 19, 2018, 08:36:41 PM
Matter of fact, you don't need to rely on anybody. There are services which are quite established and do it more professionally. The accepted term for it is Proxy Shipping, although I don't think it can cover your entire case it would certainly ease up the process and avoid unnecessary dependencies.

You can read more about them on this article : https://vulcanpost.com/436891/5-proxy-shipping-services-united-states-malaysia/

(That article is just an overview but you will get an idea how it works and the trusted services for doing it)
1319  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bojoko.com | Casino comparison site with bitcoin casinos on: July 19, 2018, 08:30:58 PM
Not sure if your list is outdated or I'm not up to date with new casinos in the market. I have never heard of either casino listed on your homepage involving bitcoin. There is no crypto-games.net on it, yes, your list is outdated. You have neither covered any of the famous suppliers which are often used in the bitcoin gambling scene.
1320  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTCgrinders.com - bitcoin and crypto rewards site on: July 19, 2018, 08:23:41 PM
There is something that could be useful for both the site and its users. A comment system that users could use to write a feedback about the site they used. It could be to say how the site is or about the commission. You could reward some cents per review (for a verified sale/deposit) let's say $0.10. A user could post one review only per site.
Review of the website used in general or about the system? For instance, the sportsbet.io website listed here under the Sports section has a bad reputation on bitcointalk. I would like if BTCgrinders add something like a warning before using the service?

Additionally if you're looking to add others cryptos, perhaps Ripple and Dogecoin?
Doesn't it really depend on the services that are using the coin? It would be futile adding a coin which has no acceptance market.
