461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: June 05, 2023, 11:50:29 AM
This is quite important because indeed with conditions like that we can create several conditions where we can gamble as usual without worrying too much about going too far in gambling.
Basic things like this seem quite trivial, but because of the trivialities of things that make it important because if trivial things like this are not done then indeed we are getting closer to addiction that occurs.
But sometimes many people don't realize things; like this so they hit what they should have determined beforehand which resulted in them becoming uncontrollable in the gambling that was carried out.

Exactly true, when we go through of being impulsive, we often overlook what truly is important to us. We disregard the small details of our needs and fundamentals. Their needs or their long-term goals, their mind forgets those and just focuses on their impulses to gamble and bet more than the person can afford to lose. Then later on in their life when it is already late, that is when they will realize and regret it. When things got slightly worse, they thought there is no other way out but to lose everything, they're in a loop of succumbing themselves.

I believe, having someone in the family to be accountable will be a great help. Gambling is a good opportunity of luck, but also had a great risk of losing your self or the things you worked hard for. So regulate yourself and your gambling.
462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 7 tips to know about crypto trading on: June 03, 2023, 02:16:41 PM
Most things newbies don't know about crypto;

_ crypto trading is not a get rich quick scheme, it's a process and to be a profitable trader you must follow the process.

_ Never borrow money to start crypto trading, because it's very wrong to be trading under pressure.

_ Never give your coin to someone to trade for you, there is a high probability of you getting scammed.

_It is inevitable to hit losses at some point in the crypto market, it's just normal and it happens in any other kind of business.
What makes you a profitable trader is the ability to make more profit than losses.

_ The more money you put into crypto trading the more money you get and also there is a high risk losses without proper risk management in place.

_ Determination, consistency, and practice make you a better trader.
Don't despise your little beginning.

_ Learn to master your emotions.

A full year is necessary for every beginner so that they are able to witness every seasonal tendency for a whole calendar year. Especially bitcoin and other altcoins that is very volatile compare to other assets, you will be able to see price action that is pretty unusual to trade. Technical analysis especially one that works for you is a must. But, being a person who has the character of a profitable trader and is able to apply that technical analysis is more important. You get to have t build the discipline and enough capital to trade on a series of trades. It is a journey of ups and downs, not a linear path. So don't deal with false expectations about trading. It is the hardest way to make easy money.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: June 03, 2023, 02:09:58 PM
Obviously you will not earn a lot of money through referral codes, since this is also not the purpose of them. It’s just that the casino will give you a small thank you in order for you to recommend them. Most people only gamble small amounts and therefore the casino could never even pay you such high rewards, because for that they would have to rip the customer off to not have a loss for your referral.
For example my signature also contains a referral and it is simply a passive income that I can get without any effort.
If they can get lucky to find someone who has a lot of money and often gambles with that money, they can make a lot of money through their referral code. I've seen a friend of mine manage to get some people to gamble with big money and he earns a decent commission from the casino so it makes him excited to spread his referral link to many places. But indeed, that won't guarantee that we can get big commissions, especially when the members under us rarely play gambling at the casino and move without telling us. We can only wait and keep spreading the reference link to other places.

Exactly, not because you shared your referral links does mean you automatically will have a big payout. It depends of what kind of people you bring in to their website. Is that a people who always buy a product or a service? then you might have a commission for referring them when those people buy. So you have a percentage on any service they would avail. Another is when you bring players. When they win big also have a part of their win.
464  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why do you still want to play fake web2 casinos? Why we choose web3 casinos on: June 03, 2023, 02:06:30 PM
I just want to hear your ideas so we can improve our platform. Thanks to admins, they don't like decentralization and they moved our ANN to altcoin section again.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5453737.msg62314774#msg62314774

So lets discuss here. What do you advise to improve our casino to beat unfair web2 casinos.

any casino must not beat one another. They just need to be profitable, have enough funds to operate, and apply the system day in and day out. Well probably there is always a competition in any business however, if one wants to thrive, a business vision is already enough. Focusing on their competition will only make them and their operation go in circle as they are minding their competitors business.

As any business would do, customers often go back on a service for two things. It's availability and its speed. Integration of crypto and BTC as part of web3 is ideal. Fast transactions is always the best. Even web3 companies are often decentralized, as long as it is regulated by trusted members, it will do good in the long run. It's always longevity is the key of any business.
465  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question about casino, sports bet on: June 03, 2023, 01:59:27 PM
Hi, i would like to know if there is any android application for casino sites, sports bets where you can bet with crypto thanks

you can use browser and search for the sites. any android phone can do that. however you cannot have the full features and experience having it on desktop. Plus, if there's so much animation and transition of the website, then you are likely to expect some glitch or white screen that will absolutely mess with your gambling experience. I would say that don't use our phone especially your personal phone. Invest on a desktop computer. you can try then https://www.vbetftn.com/
466  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: June 03, 2023, 01:55:23 PM
In street gambling , in order to bust the cheating and rigging of result, one must report it to the authority and authority will exercise the las in order to punsh the person who are caught cheating.
Street gambling is generally not legal so if they operate there then how can street gambling operators be prosecuted if there is a crime committed there? Because they themselves are breaking the gambling laws. Generally, street gambling is not organized crime at that location. When a gambler conducts gambling there, others may be tricked, and if he wins big money, he may be watched by onlookers. Which is not possible in any land base casino. Generally, street gambling involves gambling with relatively small amounts of money, which does not cause much trouble.

You're right that street gambling isbbot regulated by anyone because each gambler is free to do what he likes and can go to any length doing what they like, though it depends on the settings in some specific location where this kind of gambling is being practiced and the kind of gamblers involved, but i will like to admit that those in the locality where street gambling is predominant likes it that way because they enjoyed it base on the level they were in the remote areas.

gambling alone is risky enough so why get involve in a riskier circumstances. just imagine how street gambling will be regulated, how much do you know that there is no anomaly? that there still a legal document behind, that the house still have enough funds when you win big. Yes you can do anything what you would like but t just simply removing restrictions that protects both the gambler and the casino. More likely, street gambling is always link to any tuff or gang so one wrong move, you know where you are going. So be safe, not only to your funds but also to one's exposure.
467  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC/LTC pair. Buying LTC Halving on: June 02, 2023, 06:09:13 AM
Hi everyone!

I'm writing to know your opinion about the LTC halving. I'm currently holding about 90% in bitcoin, 5% in Solana and 5% in USDC.

During the last days I've found this article: https://cointelegraph.com/news/litecoin-price-poised-for-700-gains-vs-bitcoin-says-charlie-lee where Charlie Lee says it could could do 700% vs. Bitcoin.

So I've been thinking in swapping all my BTC into LTC and wait for the halving... I wouldn't expect it to do 700% but if it does 200% I would happily sell back for Bitcoin.

I was waiting for the Bitcoin halving to be honest, but if I can grab this halving, duplicate my bitcoin and then grab the bitcoin halving it would be great.

What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks a lot in advance!
Kind regards;
Chris

even without halving, LTC is already established token compared to other memecoins or altcoins. keeping it would be ideal for me even not halving. The transaction fees in there is most used in business transaction since it has it's own blockchain and the transaction fee is very low compare to btc or eth. Halving a coin would be a good consideration but for me it is still te usage and its fundamentals. You can stack on both LTC and BTC. If the timing it is that you were asking, you must consider technical analysis.

How will gamblers afford it

VR would be cool to see, same as any game regularly playing the premium of gambling enables many things.   All you have to do to justify the expense is have the revenue stream of regular players who come your way rather then the oppositions games then its justified.    Considering how much competition there is and the size of gambling industry globally, it seems likely we can see VR and any technology involved in new gambling games at some point.
Scales of economy make this true, the common iphone or similar would have cost billions at one point in time as it was so specialized and unique but setup factories to supply components for millions into billions of people and per unit things become cheaper to provide and include in any product as a possibility.   VR isnt new, it just have to be put to work and actually be useful in that sense to the consumer, very posible.

integration of VR, AR, and metaverse would be ideal. It could be put on stalls of business owners in shops or malls if possible. Even if not everyone can afford it at home. If business owners can do it like for rent on a specific place, if it is profitable for them then they will make it happen. That would be awesome too because it would be more accessible to anyone which means if it is used in a way that is abusive, negatives of using it will emerge. So there are many things to consider.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Behavioural signs that suggest you are Addicted to Gambling on: June 02, 2023, 06:00:24 AM
I was browsing on the internet and stumble upon this article and found out that there are three kinds of gamblers. They are Professional gamblres, social gamblers and problem gamblers. The first two are okay but the third one which is the problem gamblers are the ones who are struggling with this addiction.

So I asked myself what behaviour would suggest that an individual is a problem gambler. Did some research and found many behaviour that suggest an individual is struggling with gambling addiction. Out of those I found the following five behaviours to be most common ones in a problem gambler.

  • Preoccupation with gambling.
  • The urge to increase wagers to achieve the same level of excitement.
  • Having difficulty in controlling, cutting back, or stopping gambling despite several attempts.
  • Lying about gambling activities.
  • Borrowing money to gamble.

As gambling addiction can be a challenging issue that can have a very harmful impact on an individual's life. it is always recommended to find a professional helpb rather struggling with it. Do you agree with those behaviours? If not then you can suggest some, that can be added to this topic.

anything that is too much is bad. even revenge gambling does. The casinos didn't owe you anything, it's you who placed the bet in the first place. Then you put something again, then another, then again, until you lose control of your own self and impulses and you don't have anything to put on to get back what you lost. Don't be ashamed to ask for professional help and guidance. That is their job. And it is your responsibility not to lose you r life gambling in a never ending cycle of addictive gambling. You are always bigger than what you are strugling with. You can overcome it.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: June 02, 2023, 05:54:26 AM
Gambling places are not for steady income, if you want steady income with gambling, online or offline, you have to be a owner, build your own casino and watch yourself growing up into a filthy rich billionaire.

Online casinos are places where it's certain that you will lose your money, it's a place where you need to be mentality sane to at least have a good ride and experience as you progress, it's not always about making money with gambling, it's always about not ending up running insane because of gambling.

To make this happen, you need to discipline yourself up, make sure you set some rules on how you will handle gambling every day and how much you are willing to risk on gambling every day or else you will end up in the gutter, with full regrets.

That's if you are not even addicted to gambling already, a addicted gambler always have one goal in mind, '( I have to make back all I have lost ), this is where the beginning of the end begins.

absolutely, and in simple term, you cannot presume a predictable income and steadily if your source is playing the casino with a very unpredictable and unsteady result. You can either win big one time and then lose it all the next if you gamble irresponsibly. If you want the result to be consistent, it's true to manage a casino, or at least manage your gambling like a casino. Treating ievery bet on a series of it not individually, YOu just your wins as a whole. You could have a losing day but overall a wining month. That's what I mean. You can only do that if you manage risk well and you have your gambling systematized.

Took this live bet

I guess its either my dumb luck is acting up or Liquid is planning on taking it easy on this last DPC because they dont really need anymore points. It gets pretty unpredictable at this point. I was kinda sure before this season start, Entity might make it to top at this late stage of DPC because Watson was actually pretty good in pub but Quest was actually pretty decent when I expected them to be at bottom 2 though

it's maybe that Liquid just get too confident that they took it very easy not knowing that DPC. But if it is fighting for a position and placement, that would be a tough game for both sides both aiming for a win. One will get eliminated, one will advance to next. both hustles hard.
472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market is seasonal on: May 31, 2023, 11:23:37 AM
I think experts become experts by studying and experience. If you study how to be a great trader and if you keep on trading, then you are going to end up with something good eventually, there is no other way around it, that's how people become rich.

However, if you want to find a quick way to get rich, no matter how much time you spend, you will not become rich because that's not how it works. It should be remembered that bitcoin is volatile and there are so many ways to make money if you are a trader, but if you want to do it well then you need to spend some time on it if you want to make some money. I understand that there are a lot of people who will, but I am worried about all the people who won't be understanding this concept and just think bitcoin is a way to get rich quick.
I agree that it requires countless hours studying and trading in order to become good, too many people hope to see some other person do all of it for them and end up with a good return, but the reality is that it is not going to happen and you are going to end up losing it if you are not careful.

I think checking what others are doing and what you should be doing based on what they are doing is as wrong as it gets and you should be avoiding that if possible. Too many people are acting as if they are going to end up with a problem and we all know that they are not going to do that at all. I think the best thing to do would be having some sort of personal approach and just work hard to become like the people who you wanted to follow, you can do it, everyone can, it just requires hard work that's it.

And this is a truth. Not positive thinking to boost you up. Trading is a long game. Longer than you first imagine having a lambo in our first month. That's a false expectation. To have the luxury you must pay the price and that is where the long hours in front of the screen, backtesting, reading price, journaling, chasing your own dark side, risk management, capital preservation, risk. It will take years to fully grasp the concept of your trading. You must have your OWN trading plan. Not relying too much on a signal service. When beginners see the real thing, they see it as how hard it is. Only strong ones perceiver and go with goals and their vision. Trading will require and demand a lot of yourself.  So are you willing to pay the price?
473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not a get rich quick on: May 31, 2023, 11:00:26 AM
Trading is a professional business. Unlike most people, those who trade to make quick money or get rich quickly, often lose all or most of their money. As someone who has been trading for years, I can say that it requires a great deal of discipline and personal control.

Treating trading as a business is a game changer. Every loss is just a losing transaction. That's it. No emotions attached. You still get back in front of charts tomorrow and see if there's a trade for you. That's how you can easily find consistency in that perspective. And it's a long journey. YOu will learn more a lot from the market and more importantly about yourself.
That is when you see professional traders are great to control themselves. Because with trading, it helped them to reveal their own character flaws and overcome it. Discipline is the key, everyone knows that, but not everyone knows how. And that is the key on trading.
474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: May 31, 2023, 10:56:14 AM
I really was having this question in mind to ask if it will advisable for somebody who want to start up trying doing online investment and chooses trade as perfect for him or her. What will be your advice for such person as a beginner into online Invertement. I want to hear your opinions if it right or wrong despite it risk,so what your opinion or advise .

As long as you know what you are doing, you are good to go. Just remember that as a beginner your first aim while learning how to trade is to protect your capital. Trading is a continuous endeavor. So don't lose too much early in the game. You can even practice in the demo account. So yeah, you might not be able to make money on your first year but if you learn the right skill, that will surmount and make a generational wealth for you and your love ones.

When I say you know what you're doing, it means you already have a perspective how you see price, you can read it without other people's signals, you have a trading plan, you master risk and money management. Yes, it will take time as a beginner, but it will be worth it.

^^^^

Well, it should not be overlooked that some AI developers may be training their AI with games from the best players in the world, whether in popker, black jack, dice, roulette, and the AI learns a lot and knows how to play, Obviously, he will learn many more strategies than us as humans, maybe that advantage is given, for now I think that this has not yet been developed, but we must know that the bears are going to go down that path, personally I think that the AI is sunao of the paths for the players to take advantage of them and this has a great scope that has not been taken yet, but I think that the direction is going towards there.

There is one significant feature of the formation of conclusions and recommendations from AI.  First of all, it is partly the human factor and the worldview and philosophical attitudes of those people who are directly involved in training and setting up AI.  A lot depends on this.  But not only.
If AI draws information from the Internet, which is obvious and should be, then who sets up its filters to counteract false and distorted information?  In a number of questions, for example in mathematics, the answers are always absolutely accurate and verifiable.
And in the field of, for example, artistic creativity, completely different approaches and the true decision about the talent of an artist is too vague and subjective.  Unfortunately, now AI is widely used in aggressive and military developments.
And sucn an approach to solving problems is contrary to the humanistic mission of mankind.  So far, I do not see any symptoms for the situation to begin to change for the better.  Based on such attitudes, respectively, and the manner of gambling, AI should be expected to be exceptionally aggressive and offensive, unless of course the general attitudes of AI developers remain for a long time.
And it seems that they will be preserved because of the distraught and crazy politicians-idiots, old age and simply staying, one might say, in insanity.

Well, I think it couldn't have been said better, it's obvious that everything is in a beta stage, but I'm curious about ChatGPT-4, everyone wants to buy it and everyone speaks wonders, the bad thing about being in a restricted country is that you don't know You can not enjoy these benefits or the previous chatgpt, for this reason there is no other choice than to try to find ways for people who interact with chatgpt through videos , like YouTube is where I can see what AI is like, However, I think that chatgpt4 is not as advanced as everyone paints it, as for the Detectors, I think they really need to work on it, I don't Really Trust it, it's difficult.

We are in the season of Ai, and as such, it is only normal to expect unnecessary and unmerited hype of whatever version of chatgpt that comes out whether it be 1 or 4, or maybe 20, humans being will always hype it to the roof like it's something built by aliens.

Personally, I've not really been paying attention to the whole chatgpt and Ai trends, because, in as much as the world is advancing technologically, I feel all this Ais being built and developed will only end up destroying the human race the more, humans will become much lazier, less imaginative and creative, more productive due to support from Ai, but less professional, humans will practically walk the streets with dead brains - and how all this will affect casinos and gambling is yet to be seen, we can only discover while going into the future.
I have tested the AI and it is good at executing some sets of tasks. Besides, if you want to do something you haven't done before that involve computational activities it will provide some tip but being the end of the human race or making man lazy is what I don't know cause it's hard to predict the future and one thing I'm sure about is that the Fed's are working on some regulation that will prevent AI from ruining human race.
Having said that, AI affecting casino or gambling site activities is still a speculation by people because I haven't seen an AI that was developed to defeat the casino.

It could make you win and get you sum of money but it will be boring. Let AI analyze and play the game. And if it is to defeat the casino, then the casino will create another AI programmed to defeat that AI. So what happens will be an AI vs AI is it? Like a Terminator movie series within the gambling industry. And that's the worst, and might open other industries to do the same be it finance or industrial sector. Scary?
476  Economy / Economics / Re: Logic of life on: May 30, 2023, 07:00:59 AM
The logic of life is that you can't earn more than you know,
Any amount you are earning today is 80% as a limit of what you know.

The richest man on earth is earning whatever amount he is earning due to the advantage of  what he knows or  can do.

So, before you can move from earning $100 dollar monthly to $1000 per month,
One of the major thing you must scale up is your knowledge.

So ask yourself, what should I know that can make me ×2 my monthly income?

Seek knowledge always.

Knowledge is power. But applying that knowledge is a superpower. Don't be a geek reading books after books every day. Yes I agree, information is important but it won't get you any. Don't indulge with technicalities forever. Execute. Do something. Experiment now and you know it when you know you should be executing instead of finding that Holy Grail of Information. There is none. If you want more $ in return, you have to solve problems. You can't solve problems by thinking, only by doing.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Father Rejects Son's Gambling Win on: May 30, 2023, 06:56:32 AM
A boy won #38,000,000 ($82340.19) with just #400 ($0.87) and when the boy brought home his win, the biological father of the boy rejected the money because it was gotten from gambling. So that makes me to think how people look or see or think of gambling. Is gambling a bad thing to do? As for me gambling is not a bad something but the individual can be bad and also the way you present yourself in the society can also tell people about your personality.

How do you see the father? Was he right by rejecting the son gambling win?

I think it roots in the beliefs and the value that the father holds. Mostly held under their culture or their religion. It's a hard decision to make for the kid I guess. Is gambling a bad thing to do? I don't know. You don't need to know to. What you just need is to ask yourself truly if it is the right thing to do. Because we all have different beliefs. and my belief has nothing to do with what you are believing. Same goes to the story of the boy. It depends on what is more important for him. Is it the culture of his father or is it the money making he can make gambling.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: May 30, 2023, 06:33:53 AM
This is why I use incognito when I search for something or watch YouTube videos but I forget it sometimes so, I typically browse with the normal browsers that have cache/cookies recorded on them, and then eventually, I'll get to see the ads, and videos related to what I've most recently watched.
They may not be related to gambling ads but the most recent videos or searches that we do is what they'll throw us with the ads that they have.

Obviously the more you avoid such content the lesser you will view related advertising.
Avoid typing keywords that are related to the ads that you're annoying or when you do, use incognito or browsers that don't have these ads. There are browsers that are helpful when it's to these ad-blocking features. Or if not, download those adblockers for your sake to avoid these ads coming out to your browser.
Incognito browsing is great for the most part since it keeps your cookies from being traced (cookies are basically what they call 'internet trackers' which are the tiny bits of data that tells the site a lot about the user), but it still doesn't shield you from the gambling ads altogether. The best way you could really rid yourself of these pesky advertisements is through the use of ad blockers which they themselves blocks all ads, saving you the trouble of ever worrying about getting cut off from that stuff you're watching on Youtube by some unrelated advertisement. Plus using an ad blocker also disallows these sites from getting your cookies, and since you don't need to go incognito your search history is saved, which is especially helpful for people who tend to go back and forth on some sites and pages.

there are a lot of adblockers that are free of charge and some do, but still, those are good investments tho. ads were a normal part of youtube, that is also how they can market their premium subscription so they can remove ads. In short, you can use tools such as other adblockers or you can also use other other browsing sites other done google chrome.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin bonus real or a scam? on: May 30, 2023, 06:26:00 AM
I meaan if you really want free, then faucets like freebitco.in seems like a good place to start. It's a well-known faucet since ages (It's also where I first started with Bitcoin). Other faucets may also exist but if the amount they presume to give is too big to be realistic, or is a "doubling" mechanic (you deposit some amount, you get double), then yea just stay away from them. What you linked was pretty much an article about Bitcoin itself (from what I skimmed), and not really bitcoin bonuses or something similar. Well just know the only legitimate way to get Bitcoin(that I know of, there may be more) is through mining or trading.

In trading only the value of bitcoin you have rises. Well of course if you buy low then sell it high, come out in profit, then buy again in lower price, now you have more BTC. Mining is basically done through transaction of networks you gain more as you build blockchain of one term to another.

And yes I agree, if the result of what stake you are entering is unrealistic return and too high, then think again if you're really going to put your money in. Is it legitimate ot maybe it's just another ponzi scheme.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: May 29, 2023, 06:45:45 AM
This actually happens if there is a similar thread I'll lock this thread.

My friend invited me for a round of drinks just last night to confess something, and that is his wife threatened to leave their house and file for legal separation because the wife just discovered that he's spending a lot of time gambling, she thought that he's just playing games but she discovered his logged because the idiot has his password in the browser, so the wife check his withdrawal and voila his losing a lot of money and she also discovered that he won big money in the past but didn't tell her.

I guess that blew her patience for not telling his winning, so he threaten that he should stop gambling or they part ways, my friend choose his wife so he cannot play until he can convince his wife and promise her to tell her if he won big. Cheesy

How about you have you been threatened by your wife, your girlfriend, or your parents, if so tell us your story.

We all know this, that our love ones just truly care for us but most of the time we can't be understood the way we wanted to be understood.
If you are gambling lavishly while letting your family taken for granted, you really need to stop. Have a life. Don't let gambling be your life. Have a job and provide for your family. Gambling is not a stable income. Don't let it determine how you treat the people around you.

If winning big in gambling requires you to lose your family, is that truly a win? Think of it.
