For some people these rallies require a daytrip. They came to Chicago from other states to see and hear Trump. And then they wait outside for hours to get good seats. All for nothing, some riff-raff disrupting the whole thing. It´s a disgrace.

This source spoke with CTN on the condition of anonymity, and asked to be referred to as “Terry.” He called for Bullock’s death to serve as a reminder to anti-Trump groups and the mainstream media.

“Rob was a black man, but he supported Trump because he got tired of Democrats saying his race was the thing holding him back,” Bullock’s friend told CTN.

“[Rob] lost his job because of Obamacare.  He lost his brother to black-on-black gang violence.  Now he lost his life because he believed in a white man.  His race didn’t have a damn thing to do with what held him back.”

Bullock and Terry were separated in the chaos that followed the protesters’ interruption of the planned Trump rally, which led to widespread violent scuffles and the event’s cancellation.  It is believed that he attempted to make his way to a nearby bar to charge his dead cell-phone and reconnect with Terry.

Multiple sources have confirmed that protesters and Trump supporters continued to clash as they moved from the UIC Pavillion to their vehicles and nearby locations.  It is believed that Bullock, at some point after leaving the event center, was confronted by protesters, beaten, then allegedly shot two times in the abdomen and left shoulder by a small to medium-size handgun.

I see time and time again in the headlines of news stories that Trump was 'shaken' by the recent attack at his rally.  When I look at it, I really don't see much sign of him looking all that 'shaken' per se.  If I were in his situation I would be scared as hell all of the time and the event with the secret service surrounding me and such would have caused me to produce a yellow puddle.  It seems to me that Trump handled things quite well with an appropriate come-back when he got going again (thanking the people in front for the warning and getting back to his spiel more or less on context.)

Am I wearing rose colored glasses?  Second opinion?

I might add that whenever such a thing as this happens I look for signs that it was a staged setup.  I don't think it probably was in this case for a few reasons.  It doesn't look to me like Trump played it up as well as he could have if it were staged, and it seems that he changed from fairly legitimate surprise at the event were it occurred to what looks like genuine anger and the next event (though he is an actor of sorts so he could easily fool me with whatever emotion he chose to display I suspect.)  Secondly, the attacker does legitimately seem to have a history (whether or not the ISIS stuff was a sham) and if he were developing it over the course of time, blowing his cover for this little stunt doesn't seem like it would be worthwhile.  Though in fairness, it also doesn't blow the development of a baclground I suppose.

That is not true.  To the extent that I 'believe' anything, I believe that Trump is a con-artist.  That is to say, he has taken the art of building confidence to a high level.  That says nothing about whether the confidence is deserved.  I am as hopeful about Trump as I have been about any candidate who has a realistic chance of winning.  Of course that is a fairly low bar to clear at this point in time.

I will say that Trump did himself no favors with me when he brought of the Foley beheading thing.  That was one of the most absurd and obvious hoaxes ever.  If he actually got conned on that one I have some serious questions about his capabilities.  If he did not, then it speaks genuine scam artist to me.  I call 'em like I see 'em.  Always have.

"Trump, Supporters Undeterred by Protests"

CLEVELAND – Tensions ran high at a Donald Trump rally here the day after the Republican front-runner canceled a Chicago appearance amid violent protests, but Trump and his supporters weren’t discouraged, blaming his detractors for disturbances at his events.

In Chicago Friday night, Trump cancelled a rally that had hundreds of protesters clashing with supporters, leading to several violent skirmishes. In Ohio the next day, thousands turned out to see Trump at two events, and mostly they blamed the protesters, saying the candidate was not at fault.

Damian Ruggiero, 45, drove from Toledo to be at the Cleveland rally Saturday afternoon. He accused the protesters of disrupting private events, not exercising their constitutional rights.

“When they sneak in there and disrupt it and get their ass beat, they deserve it,” Ruggiero told RealClearPolitics. “And I’m not a violent person, but they deserve whatever they get because they came in under false pretenses. They weren’t invited. The people that are invited are supporters of his.”

Most Trump supporters here had a similar message: Not only were the protesters going beyond their First Amendment rights, they said, but they were infringing on the rights of his backers....
