If it comes under state control, it's likely to be auctioned off.

I think I know which one you mean.

This supports my theory that XPY will skyrocket past $20 very soon.

During inspection of wallet where Cryptsy hacker stored BTCs obtained from selling stolen altcoins from Cryptsy I found one big anomaly. All input transactions from the first one on 18.Aug.2014 - 16.Oct.2014 came from 2 exchanges - BTC38 and BTER in proportion 80% from BTC38 and about 20% from BTER.

Hacker wallet:
https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/1356a64174770337

In that time hacker wallet received 243 BTC ( 195 from BTC38 and 48 from BTER).What is interesting what stolen altcoin hacker could sell in such large amounts on BTC38.

BTCD and XC have never been traded on BTC38 and LTC were not moved until 11.July.2015.I carefully studied sale records for all coins that were traded on BTC38 at that time and not at one could sustain such large selling without total crash except DOGE.Also I didnt find in sale records for other coins any huge sales on the days when transactions occured, except for DOGE.

In total, when I compared price of DOGE on the date of exit BTC transactions occured, I calculate that hacker sold ~684 millions of DOGE in that time.

Cryptsy DOGE wallet was not hacked for sure during hack, but from blockchain records in the time 5th-24th.Aug.2014 , 1.1 billions of DOGE  were taken out from Cryptsy new cold wallet. After that there were no any takings till the mid of November 2014.

Here is a list of hacker transactions:
---------------------------------------

18.Aug.2014 - 125M DOGE (28.735 BTC)

19.Aug - 78M DOGE (17.96 BTC)

No,hacker first converted DOGE to BTC(BTC38 and BTER), then BTCD and XC (Bittrex and BTER) and finally from 11.July.2015 LTC to BTC(BTC-e and BTC38-major selling of LTC)

After that hacker used(and still using) Bitmixer.Io to laundry BTCs - he has already put 1730 BTCs into the mixer and  rest of them - 2959 BTCs are still in his wallet.

Quote
One of Sallah’s associates received an anonymous email in April claiming Cryptsy’s servers were located at Vault Networks Inc. in Miami. Sallah said he demanded Vault Networks confirm whether it has Cryptsy’s servers. In the meantime, he confirmed on his own that Vault Network has Cryptsy’s servers.

Vault Networks, in response to a court order, agreed to provide access to Cryptsy’s severs. Sallah said he will try to determine wallet information and will try to secure funds for investors’ benefit.

Well, this investigation is seriously Fucked (with a capital F)!

Sallah: We have control of the website, but don't have a clue as to what servers hosted it. If only...
Associate: Sallah, we just received an anonymous email claiming that Cryptsy's servers are at Vault Networks Inc.
Sallah: Finally, we're getting somewhere and I can earn my salt.
Sallah: Vault Neworks Inc., we demand you confirm you haz Cryptsy's servers.
Sallah: Nevermind. We confirmed it on our own. Can we please have access?

If only there were a Bitcoin doctor next door to Cryptsy's servers at 100 N. Biscayne Blvd., Miami.

Associate: Sallah, we just received an anonymous email that somebody by the name of Horus the Sun worked for Cryptsy.
Sallah: Shit! That's gonna be a tough one to crack because he didn't use his real name. Put that info in the BitJohn file. We may get lucky down the road with another anonymous email so to connect the dots.
Sallah: Your Honor, wes need mores moneys to continue this investigation. Me and my staff can't handle the wealth of information emailed to us on a daily basis.
Court: Granted. Take it out of future moneys awarded in that case.

News up http://www.coindesk.com/cryptsy-collapse-ceo-mansion-whereabouts-unknown/

1.3m property under state control wow soon.

Property?

So like what, chairs, microwaves and computer hardware?

Paul Vernon has all the private keys and a few of those alts are about to go supernova!  $1.3 million is cabbage rolls.

xoxo,

Paul Vernon

I think I know which one you mean.

This supports my theory that XPY will skyrocket past $20 very soon.

I have some interesting findings about Cryptsy Mining Contracts MN.On 10.Apr.2014 they paid to Cloud Hashing 175 BTC for 10TH contract(0.175 BTC per 10GH share). After that on 22.Apr they annonced new 100TH deal with mining operator whose didnt want it name to be disclosed. Huh

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=481015.msg6346256#msg6346256

All payments came from Cryptsy so call cold wallet which was hacked few months later. What is interesting that the payment of 175 BTCs to Cloud Hashing for 10TH 175 went directly to its BTC wallet, but payment for 100TH from 22.Apr.2014 of 1224 BTC(~682000 dollars) went straight to Bitcoin mixer:

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/0c07e0bec1002bd2

So Cryptsy paid 0.1224 BTCs per 10GH share and sold it to the users for 0.185 BTCs(51% higher price) and price paid by Cryptsy indicate that Cryptsy did not buy just contracts ,but mining farm.

These are images of mining wallets from where mined BTCs were going directly to Cryptsy(so they had a mining farm) until 03.Aug.2015:

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/00a68b48df5bea32

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/05ef35aae9b947d4

All BTCs from mined blocks came to Cryptsy address 1DNTAeajLPbanneH3rHEGsctcevLmC8vdb

https://www.walletexplorer.com/address/1DNTAeajLPbanneH3rHEGsctcevLmC8vdb

This business was paid as all other expenses from users BTCs.But who can be so trustable that Vernon gives to him 682000 dollars, but wanted to remain in shade.Every company would announce such big deal immediately, but not this one.

I strongly believe that company involved in that is Final Hash LLC and trustable person Marshall Long. Final Hash was established on 10.Feb.2014.First its tweets and pictures of mining came on 16.Apr.2014.After opening Final Hash LLC got huge push up,but nobody knew from where and how.Everything was in deep dark.

Final hash LLC followed Cryptsy destiny and was dissolved on 10 Apr.2016, exactly 2 years from first mining contracts :

Receivership should pay attention on this contract from 22.Apr.2014 which was paid 1224 BTCs(682000 dollars) from Cryptsy users money and try to find where is Vernon mining farm hardware equipment.

"On April 10th, Bitcointalk forum members noticed that coins linked to Cryptsy were moving to coin mixers and exchanges. Those coins had not moved since owner Paul Vernon claimed the site was hacked. Those same forum users indicated that they would be contacting the Silver Law group, whom Sallah practices for."

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

I haven't been keeping up with this saga. What about these coins, did anyone ever figure out who is in control of them?

I'm pretty sure I know where that farm was located, but unfortunately my source (a couple months back) rather not have me disclose the local. It was relayed to me via convos related directly about Marshall Long. You know Marshall Long, don't you? The dude who also was mining bitcoins in 2009 but he had to stop because his wife (married in 2015) couldn't stand the noise and heat stemming from ~50 CPUs (read: laptops) in the living room; The dude whose favorite sport is ball-cupping with Josh Garza; The dude who is a mod on a Bitcoin sub Reddit administered by Roger Ver (I have no qualms with Roger).

A poster on the Unobtanium thread says he's been in touch with an attorney working with the Cryptsy Court Receiver.  He says a former Cryptsy IT employee has given them access to the wallet servers, but Paul Vernon wiped the database servers on April 4. If they can't restore the database from backups they might not be able to determine user balances.

Besides the Unobtanium at Bittrex he says they recovered $20K or more of valuable altcoin wallets at Cryptsy, and control of the Cryptsy Ethereum wallet.

Since the Cryptsy UNO wallet was stolen by Paul Vernon and transferred to Bittrex, I've been in touch with an attorney working with the Cryptsy Court Receiver.

*snip*

I spoke today with the attorney for the Court Receiver, who updated me on the status of the UNO wallet:

*snip*

A couple of notes I took from the call:

They are now working with a former Cryptsy IT employee who has given them access to the wallet servers.

Paul Vernon wiped the database servers on April 4, which means there is a chance they may be unable to determine user balances.

The former Cryptsy IT person was able to restore some backups, and he is trying to recover the databases.

The Cryptsy Ethereum wallet has been recovered.

Some other valuable altcoin wallets (worth $20K or more) have also been recovered (no coins were specifically mentioned).

Remember what they were talking non-stop - only Vernon has complete access,so it must be he who wiped out database.

I guess that he did it,because he wants to erase all data about his accounts on Cryptsy(exchange accounts),so nobody could connect suspicious coin addresses with him and his manipulations & money/coins transfers-thefts.

In fact he is cleaning his fingerprints on the crime scene.
