Ok, so he qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals in O2 Arena. And it's a pretty stack up group there, and he has won this 5th title one more than Djokovic himself. Sonego's run though has ended, but I'm sure this is not the last of his giant killing and his ranking will dramatically improved win his first finals appearance in Vienna. He earn 300 points in the lost and €85,000, not bad for just a replacement for Diego Schwartzman.

Well the last big tournament for 2020 has started, the Paris Masters. With some big names not playing it will be interesting to see if some of the young talent can upstage Nadal and win the last big tournament of the year. I think Tsitsipas has a good chance as long as he can control his mentality when he is ahead in matches, if he can then I can see him at least making the semi-finals and maybe even going on to win the tournament. Zverev is another player that could challenge Nadal and win as he has had a good season. I would also say Medvedev but it seems that this year he has lost his way after a good season last year. It will be a great end to the year of a crazy tennis season.

Where is everyone?
Isn't anyone watching the Paris Masters?
I see once again Tsitsipas has been knocked out again, its a shame as I thought he had a good shot at making the finals here but he always lets himself down. Its hard to trust him which is why I don't place bets on him until we see him become a more consistent player. Wawrinka is currently in a tough fight losing the first set and trying to stay alive in the second set in a tie breaker. Nadal is through to the next round after winning in three sets and I still believe that he is the man to beat.

don't forget that some players are already qualified for the ATP final tournament so they try to stay fresh before it. Nadal just passed through Feliciano Lopez but it was quite difficult. so I'm not surprised if we will see some sensations at BNP Paribas Masters.

I must say I sort of forgot about this thread after RG finished. I am always watching tennis and looking for value bets. Paris masters is the last masters in the year and it always has some funky results. Just checked who has won it in last couple of years and you will find much bigger variety then usual. It is also played on very fast surface so breaks are not to easy to come by. All that perfectly plays into my favorite tennis market, betting on handicaps against favorite. My number one pick for today is Humbert to win against Cilic. Cilic has been terrible this season and even though he showed something here in Paris I don't trust him to win against good opponent. D. Fokina +4.5 He is showing big progress on this surface and I belive he can cover this handi easy Giron +5.5 Giron is also playing good tennis on fast surface this season and I see this match finishing 7:6 6:4 for Raonic so this handi should be quite secure Thompson +6.5 Nadal did not look so good in his first match so this should pass, but I never like betting against Nadal, he is animal and will never let you have free game. While I was writing this I decided to skip this one

I'm still here mate, LOL, Unfortunately, Tsitsipas lost this early, but it was a great match, it's really a hit or miss betting on Stepanos as he is very inconsistent, I think that fault is really on him. Anyway, of rated players have advance already, including Nadal, I'm expecting Zverev or Diego Schwartzman to perform well in this competition.

Nadal will be the man to beat, but Schwartzman could come close. He won his first match very easy with 2x 6-1. With his win, Nadal became the 4th man in history to win 1000 ATP matches, another milestone for him!

Yeah its a shame that he is inconsistent because we can all see how much talent he has to offer but he needs to start putting it on the board by winning matches more often and making more finals. I like Zverev as well as I think he could be the one to upset Nadal. I'm looking forward to the Medvedev and Schwartzman match as both players are in good form and I'm sure it will be a great match to watch.

Wawrinka surprises Rublev in 3 sets, just another match that could have cost me some BTC, LOL. Zverev though was almost upset by Mannarino, but survived the scare and win the 3rd set, 6-4, but the first two, they had to settle it thru tie-breaks. Yeah the Medvedev vs Schwartzman will be a good match to watch and I'm thinking that Schwartzman could pull an upset.

The Medvedev vs Schwartzman match was not even close, 6-3, 6-1 win for Medvedev. I thought that Schwartzman will make it a three setter tie break match, he was clearly overwhelmed by Medvedev's specially the first serve.
It's gonna be Nadal vs Zverev , and Raonic vs Medvedev in the semis now.

Nadal seems to be feeling very well at the tournament in Paris, and he entered the semifinals. Has the time finally come for him to win this tournament for the first time? Due to this defeat, Busta did not qualify for the final ATP tournament. Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/54844753

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/54844753Nadal will need to wait another year as Zverev, surprisingly, beat Nadal in 2 sets (6-4 and 7-5). He will play the final against Medvedev. That should be a close match, so maybe a bet on over 2.5 sets can be interesting.

Yep Nadal out. I don't watch Masters much but for players that are sometimes slow to get into it, the format with 2 winning sets is a challenge, compared to the 3 winning sets of grand slams. It's also much more difficult to get a total upset because of fatigue or something like that.

Well at the start of this tournament I said that I thought Zverev had a good chance at winning it as he has been in good form this year and I think he would want to finish the year winning the last big tournament. Medvedev has come good at the right time so it will be a great final to watch, I going for Zverev because I think he deserves to win a big tournament this year with the form he has been in and to make up for his US Open loss.

Yep, too bad that Nadal is out, but it's a good thing in the long run as we need more players not in the top 3 to win this kind of small tournaments as well to give them a boost. Perhaps Nadal is really tired, but we have to give it to Zverev, Nadal try to adjust to his serve that's why he was able to make the score closer. But there's no denying Zverev this time, the odds for Zverev and Medvev are very close, good luck to those who are going to bet in this finals.

Yes, mate, as I have predicted days ago: I'm expecting Zverev or Diego Schwartzman to perform well in this competition. And thanks to Zverev for reaching the finals here, Medvedev is also playing great and as I check the odds, he is the favorite but not that much though as Zverev is playing elite tennis as well. This will be interesting to watch, I'll probably go in with my man right now Zverev.

Big win by Zverev, he has been playing great and yes, I do agree that this surface is not Nadal's strong suit. Yeah, @2.5 will be good 1.79 odds, but money line is fine too, Medvedev 1.83 and Zverev 1.95 to win. Zverev leads the H2H, so it will be an interesting match.
