Hello

How do i represent core voltaje -60 in claymore line commands? I want to undervolt using the claymore bat.

Thanks

Take the original core voltage in mV and subtract 60. EG: 1250 - 60 = 1190

RX 460 NOT RECOGNIZED

in short, I "unlocked" my sapphire rx460 nitro to 1024 cores, from stock 896.  Maybe this is why Claymore doesn't recognize it?  I want to include it in an extra slot, not like we could get another GPU.  Any tips or a BIOS that could spoof a 560, and be valid?  Or could someone help me get this bios??

http://wccftech.com/sapphire-rx-460-nitro-oc-1024-polaris-11-gpu/

1024 cores should increase the mh/s like 12% (the amount of extra cores) right?

Thanks all.

...
HOLY JEBUS!!!

Thanks for the info notbatman, I've been missing out on big MH/s.

Going to try this ASAP and let you know if this has boosted my MH/s. Hopefully I won't have heat issues as am running full cover liquid cooled cards Grin

Many thanks

Somebody said Windows might not like more than 5 GPUs without some fussing about, just heads up on that if you use that OS. Also my HD7990 is an AMD reference card.

Hey notbatman,

So i set it up and this is what I am getting:

Does that make sense here is the bat file details,

Code:
@echo off

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

ethdcrminer64.exe -tt 30,30,30,30,30,30 -mclock 1245,1245,1245,1245,1245,1245 -cclock 1024,1024,1024,1024,1024,1024 -asm 0 -esm 0 -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x701fb173E3765aA487CCb6C0C7a171A08bB66C51 -epsw x -eworker Beast -dcri 7

I haven't made any changes to ANY other file in the Claymore folder not even the config.txt file.

Also my 7990's show up as Radeon 280X, is that normal

Please let me know where I am going wrong.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

You can't get 150MH/s on ETH or ETC the DAG is too big, you have to mine UBQ, EXP or MUSIC. If you want ETH you'll have to exchange the coins.

Claymore, the problem with ethman 3.0 will be fixed?  It stop work, need to restart to make it work again.
On screenshot left side is not working ETHMan 3.0, right side restarted. They both work at the same time. Why left not work?

Well I decided to keep pushing lol.
Here ya go...
https://s26.postimg.org/7h711jn0p/all5.png
https://s26.postimg.org/g0qezavd5/heckyes.png

In the end I upgraded to Windows 10 latest version, installed 17.4.4 AMD and most importantly patched it with pixel patcher https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-Patcherbefore rebooting. All 5 cards are bios modded.

I'm in a similar situation where I have ordered 4x XFX RX470, 1x MSI RX470 and 1x 570, will try this pixel patcher and will let you know if I would be able to mine with this configuration.

I'm using Claymore only for Ethereum mining (not dual mining) but I get accepted shares rare, which factors affects the overall performance to get accepted shares.

My OS is Windows 10 64-Bit, and internet speed is 15Mbps stable, the graphic is MSI RX 470 Gaming and I'm planing to put in the upcoming days 4 more GPU XFX RX 470

Updating, my situation is like below.

I have 6 GPUs but they are not working all together, I have tested one by one and all of them are working even though I had to re-install driver and put that patch in order to work correctly (after reboot) but when I put all together I get Code 43 which is not accepting more than 2 or sometime 3 GPUs.

I have 4x XFS RX 470 and when I put together only 3 works good and one has only 4Mh/s where could be the issue?

I'm getting 22 Mh/s in XFS 470 and 24Mhs in MSI Gaming 470, both unmodified bios until I resolve the issues with drivers !!!

You need the 7+ GPU mod.

Hi. I'm looking for buy 4x gpu.
I have the rx580 in mind.
Does it makes any difference if I choose the 4gb or 8gb version?

I can get the 4gb for about 230$. The 8gb for About 266$.
I wanna mine ethereum as long as it's profitable and then maybe switch to an other currency.

Thank you a lot.

Interesting thing....I have 3 miners with 6 rx 470 4gb cards, each on different operating system (win7, win8.1 and win10). Now strange thing is that miner with win10 is not able to upload dag file on sixth card so i had to expand virtual memory and other two work fine. Could someone try to explane me why is that? Before installing win7 and win8.1 on other two miners win10 was working fine with 6 cards

-epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444
-ewal 0xeb2B1dEefb10DfB8093725Ce383cD7aa517c73a9
-epsw x
-esm 0
-mode 0
-tt 80,80,80,80
-asm 0

all gpu works in single, more gpus the other says Cannot create dag

Try this key with value 1.

-eres   this setting is related to Ethereum mining stability. Every next Ethereum epoch requires a bit more GPU memory, miner can crash during reallocating GPU buffer for new DAG.
To avoid it, miner reserves a bit larger GPU buffer at startup, so it can process several epochs without buffer reallocation.
This setting defines how many epochs miner must foresee when it reserves GPU buffer, i.e. how many epochs will be processed without buffer reallocation. Default value is 2.

Thx, for help
 i dry this, not better

Hi,

when i start 4X  ethminer.bat  with
 --opencl-device 0 -- 4
all gpus work?

Nothing. That is right normal for Hynix/elpida memory that you probably got. Use GPU-Z or something to see it

I have the 470 version of that card. Modded it and run memory (Samsung) at 1880. It is primary video in my regular computer. Hashes close to 27 MH/s while it is providing video for the computer. If I watch a video it might slow down a GH or two. You should be able to get the 480 to 28 to 30 after modding and playing around with settings in MSI Afterburner.

They are all about the same. Nano Pool and Ethermine are probably the best two to start. Over time you get paid virtually the same from the different pools if the fees are the same. I believe Nano Pool and Ethermine both charge 1%.
