I'm looking forward to working with that board with like 4 PSU's, but after I hear good reviews running stable on 19-GPU's. If I recall correctly, davemanet had a problem with a rig on the B250, but he solved it.

I think you answered your own question. If you have 22 rigs on SmOS, and the 2 Asus B250 motherboard rigs regularly have problems, the problem is not SmOS. Google it and you'll find EVERYONE has problems with the B250, and NOONE is running 19-GPU's stable. Ask ASUS. Good luck!

Asus B250 Mining Expert mobo seems to work faulty on Simplemining! needs an update ASAP! I have 22 rigs on simpleminig, 2 of them run on B250 Mining Expert mobos, they get completely locked up once a day. It's very frustrating. Please contact me or do something about my favorite mining OS. I need to run those rigs 24/7 Embarrassed

The thing is I only run 8x 1080ti on this ASUS B250 Mining Expert, I never tried more than that. 8 GPUs and the whole system gets locked daily!

Hi Devs!
Hi Tytanik!

I want to mine with my rigs a neoscrypt coin in SMOS. But rigth now there is no neoscrypt miner programm in SMOS availebile.

I know that gatelessgate work for neoscrypt in Linus OS.

Please include gatelessgate in SMOS!

If there is a option that I can self include gatelessgate in SMOS, please let me know.

I know a lot of provitabele coins, but for this I absolutely need a neoscrypt miner in SMOS.

I have got neoscrypt running on smOS previously using sgminer.

You can also use the tpruvot ccminer v2.1 for neoscrypt too.

is there a way to include our own miners to SMOS? Since the devs do not update the miners as frequently as needed.
thanks

I have 6x Sapphire RX 470 4gb elpida memory, mining edition (11256-21-21G), with bios modded. My Mother Board is an asus H110 pro BTC+

SMOS with RX OS DAGFix
Core: 1150
Mem: 2100
core undervolting: 800
powerstage: 5
command line: -wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp://eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal $walletETH/$rigName -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333 -asm 1

I'am getting 176MH/s for 6 cards (about 29mh/s per card)

My power consumption is 1000 watt at the wall. What is your power consumption? Is 1000watt too much? Any ideas how I can improve?

Ahh I see I have forgot to write, that I have AMD RX 580 Cards. ccminer is only for nvidia Cards. I hope I can use a other miner in SMOS.

Or I have a option to install a other miner for RX580 and scrypt algo.

Edit: Wich sgminer version is for scrypt an do you have a commandline for me?

Yes, it is too much. Very-very much. Smiley
I have 11xSapphire RX580, only ETH, 327MH/s and 1750w from wall. (dual with DEC 2040w from wall)

Extrem high, but you must like this wattage with smOS.

Has anywhere run smOS and use RX580 to mine neoscrypt coins?

Yes??

Please send me your command line from smOS and tell me wich miner you use.

Depends on what you want to mine.

For NVIDIA rigs selling hash at Nicehash

ETH - use Claymore 10
ZEC - use EWBF
XMR - use ccminer

You can use ccminer for all other algos that runs great on NVIDIA GPUs.

Hi All, with Dwarfpool they allow send email alert if worker stops working for 15 minute.  Does anyone know how to enter our email address into SMOS so that we get this alert?

in dual mining mode you wont get much lower power consumption... in windows a 6 card ethereum only mining rig has around 800 watt in dual mining around 900 watts so i think you wont get it very much lower in dual mining mode without power mods i have 2250 watts now 1850 to 1900 watts with mods undervolting settings in smos and bios mods to the cards if you want to get lower wattage at same speeds try to get some rx470 with just 6 pin pcie connector

Hi Guys,
I can confirm that there is still an issue with overclocking Nvidia cards. I'm also getting the the below error.
Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 keyFailed to connect to Mir: Failed to connect to unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused
However the error only seems to happen when I reboot the rig and then it only affects one or two cards per rig.
A fix is to go to overclocking and click save without changing anything and when the miner restarts everything works perfectly - until the next reboot.

I probably know whats causing it and i just need to make some fix in my script.
Anyway if i am thinking right then this issue is only on slow pendrives.

The dummy and temporary fix could be:
/root/utils/rclocal.sh
change 31 line from
  sleep 6
to
sleep 20

The Xorg is starting too slow on slow pendrives and thats probably the issue.
I have pretty fast ones so i dont have this issue and this explains why reloading fixes this problem.

I will make some checkups first before miner starts.

Hello Tytanick  after applying  DAG Fix,  my rig do not appear  in the rig list..... i have reseted  the rig   and it changed my  email   to   admin@simplemining.net ,   how  can i fix  / modify  it ?  thanks

I had the same issue.  I think it is because Asus uses a CPU based onboard graphics card.  SMOS and Claymore try to use that as a gpu for mining and it slows everything down. I couldn't get it to work with SMOS and 12 cards.
