@ Titanic - is it possible to mine with nicehash so that SMOS pick daily the most profitable coin ?

Yes and no, just set miner, algorithm and set nicehash pool. Right coin is set by Nicehash, only algorithm is set stable.

Anyone successfully mining monero with RX cards ? What pool you using ? What sgminer settings you went with ? I am mining with the preset setting on sgminer and mining on minergate. Seems like on pool side I am not getting 1/4 of my actual hash rate

Hi I have one question about overclocking settings in SMOS...

I set my core speed to 915 MHz, but interface on simplemining.net show 1196 MHz always.

I tried to set different speed even with claymore paramatr but it show same values all the time in interface.

Is it necesary to change something in SMOS?

To be honest I am new at linux.

Thanks for any advice

PS: I am using GPU MSI RX560 AERO ITX

#edit grub

sudo nano  /etc/default/grub

EDIT THESE 2 LINES

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="amdgpu.vm_fragment_size=9"
GRUB_DEFAULT="Advanced options for Ubuntu>Ubuntu, with Linux 4.11.0-kfd-compute-rocm-rel-1.6-148"

sudo update-grub
sudo reboot

after applying this, LAN card on rig do not work.
MB Biostar TB85

when starting there are 2-3 red lines, not green OK, but I can not read this, it is too speedy

any help

THNX

You probably add these  2 lines at the end, and it is not right

You have to edit the existing lines, and just add the values

GRUB_DEFAULT="Advanced options for Ubuntu>Ubuntu, with Linux 4.11.0-kfd-compute-rocm-rel-1.6-148"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="amdgpu.vm_fragment_size=9"

This can fix the dag?

One of my rigs also went offline yesterday

First it dropped in OC - OC was stock but it decreased the memory clock even further, it mined that way for an hour or so and then it went offline...

Hello @tytanick,

Can you please tell me why SMOS dashboard take to much time when we click on reboot rig or update overclock it take to much time to process the change to rig. does any one  having any issue like me?

also I have found that it does not fully erase overclock setting when I have removed all values in Core Clock and Memory clock. after reboot the rig it is taking my last overclocking setting. To fix this i have reboot my rig 3 to 4 time continuously after that it take default GPU Core Clock and Memory clock.

@tytanick Please Look in to this issue. I don't no any one have same issue like me.

Reloading isnt helping ?
Anyway the slow rsponse it kown problem and i am working on it.
Adding Rig grouping feature has also delayed due to some bugs found in code.
Anyway i am aware of the slowness and will keep working on it.

simpleminer-RX-v1118_dagfix_computekernel.img.zip DIDNT SEE RX580
I can only confirm above. simpleminer-RX-v1118_dagfix_computekernel.img.zip does not work with my rig (RX580 and AsRock H110 Pro BTC+). SEE SCREEN SHOT. It was working fine on simpleminer-RX-v1118-kernel4.11-16.60-noaer.img

Site down?
Nope, its working ok Smiley

If someone want to use DAGFIX version
http://download.simplemining.net/simpleminer-RX-v1118_dagfix_computekernel.img.zip
Still yes there are problems with too many GPUs. And there is nothing i can do about it.
We still need to wait for AMD to release normal linux driver with this fix so i could install it to normal version of image.
For now this is only solution for linux.

- my rig (4x RX580) was working FINE with simpleminer-RX-v1118-kernel4.11-16.60-noaer.img BUT same rig with simpleminer-RX-v1118_dagfix_computekernel.img does not work.
SEE SCREEN SHOT.

I am also having issues accessing the dash today for at least the last 5 hours, sometimes cannot be reached, sometimes loads... but then when it loads it shows 2 of my mining rigs as off and another showing as off intermittently... but all reporting fine at the mining pool and also plugged in a monitor to each one to confirm. Also cannot get to the Chat. I'm in New Zealand.

I can access the dash using a VPN in ireland through Private Internet Access, but of course I cannot manage my rig as it's not registered with the site.

Is anyone else having problems with the ccminer miners?

When I try using either ccminer-skunk-krnlx or ccminer-tpruvot, I get the following message:

/root/xminer/sh: line 49: 11860 llegal instruction      $MINER_PATH $MINER_OPTIONS
Miner ended/crashed. Restarting miner in 10 seconds --------------

It does try and restart but comes back with the same message and is in an endless loop.

Any suggestions?

This is the command I have in for ccminer-skunk-krnlx:
-a skunk -o stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:8434 -u BAushxUbDYNPj7RbhuPMf3cCBKaEWPsgb5 -p donate

Thank you.

@tytanick : any ideas?
