!!! SCAM ALERT !!!

Be careful what you are downloading from SimpleMining.net. Source could be changed to have Backdoor/Logger or similar.

OP /user tytanick/ is under scammer control.

Here is an open scam accusation from another user: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2129418.0

Yesterday he scammed me also for 0.12BTC, pretending to be escrow and moving funds out of the escrow address just few hours after my transaction.

I will fill second scam accusation now.

yes is scammer Yesterday to my me 0.17085 btc trying to sell me 2 masternode alive

Then fill a scam accusation bu yourself. I'm filling now. Just need to wait because newbie accounts have 10min/p limitation.

It's hard to believe that the guy who wrote SM would be scamming people for trivial amounts.  It seems more likely he lost control of his account which, in my mind, makes SM very vulnerable.   I am taking my rigs off it until we find out what is going on.

Possible associate mentioned in above scam threads:

Note, if you look at the latest posts from "meatmeat" he says that his account was hacked and he changed the password.

Hello guys.
I just found out that my account was hacked.
It is probably becasue i had the same low security password on all forums like this one.

If you lost anything becasue of my account beeing hacked, please write to me an email: admin@simplemining.net with some proof of incident. !
I will makeup any loss !
Also remember,i dont do any escrows, sales except SRR devices and any other services tham simplemining.net

Note that all servers are RSA keys protected and all my laptops are also protected by encryption so they are safe.
I treated forums like a message board and i wanted to have "easy access" by "easy password" - i guess that was bad choice.

Well, if his account has been compromised, what about all our mining rigs. They could all mine to someone else.
I will move away from smOS quicker than I was thinking.
Dont worry, on forum its was low level old password that was using also on many other multiple forums.
On servers i have RSA keys that are well protected. !

Just noticed this on forum. Tytanick. Maybe want to look into this.   Also could be scam. I'm sure with what has transpired over last day that you would be reluctant to try new code. Maybe someone here with more knowledge can test this. Wolf0?

It's not smOS issue. AMD needs to release a fix for linux

@tytanick, have you seen this post:

Here is the solution for linux amdgpu blockchain fix:
The new ROCm Kernel works great, my hashrate went from 155 > 167Mhs/s with 6*RX470 with Ubuntu 16.4

#Install new ROCm Kernel:

wget -qO - http://repo.radeon.com/rocm/apt/debian/rocm.gpg.key | sudo apt-key add -
sudo sh -c 'echo deb [arch=amd64] http://repo.radeon.com/rocm/apt/debian/ xenial main > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/rocm.list'
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install rocm

#edit grub
sudo nano  /etc/default/grub
#2MB fragments for Ellesmere are enabled with a grub option:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="amdgpu.vm_fragment_size=9"

sudo update-grub
sudo reboot

choose new Kernel and its done!

Thx to gstoner from ROCm Github.

Feel free to donate if you happy ;-)

Does it apply for SMOS too?
