and which projects will be on ETC network? i didn't see any announcement. if will be so this coin is dead and ETH will won this war!
So also would like to know what are the projects based on ETC? Any dapp that ran on Ethereum will run on Classic, have a play with these, http://dapps.ethercasts.com/More on the way but we don't want to rush things and EF it all up. You cannot undo mistakes here. Immutable, Secure, Classic Phone wallets are due early October.but why them need to go on another chain? ETH is perfect for all this project. And most good project like Augur, Digixdao and others refused to be on ETC chain...... Didn't see any future for this coin.... I saw only one purpose is just to sell stollen eth that now is (etc) from DAO and gain big profit to hacker... also if will be some mistakes with their projects ETH devs can support them and made any kind of fork: soft fork, hardfork and others.... Sorry, but this is the original Ethereum and all of the promise of Ethereum still exists here. The difference is that here you don't have to worry about being censored, transactions rolled back because some fat cats lost some money, or crony good ol boys calling the shots for everyone and telling you it is a consensus. Here with ETC the blockchain will remain secure. The development will continue, and we won't tolerate members of our community pulling "black hat" stunts, stealing millions in ETC and attacking ETC with the coins they stole... You see ETHF no longer has any credibility when their own members participate in criminal acts. They condone lying, stealing, and attacking other members of the community and ETC. This cannot and will not stand. The market place will not trust ETHF with the types of investments and their businesses with people that have such low standards and professionalism. So if you want to know the future. Ask the market, they are going to decide ETH's fate. ETC is not only intact, but has a very large and growing community. ETC is not going away contrary to the FUD, DOOM, and GLOOM spread by those who are afraid of what is about to happen to them. Our feeling here is that the market is going to deal with the criminal activities carried out by the ETHF and RHG in a very BLUNT way. Everyone who believes in the promise of Ethereum come aboard, the ETC train is fueling at the depot as we speak!

If your a short term investor/trader then probably not. If your long term investor then the water is fine. Just watch for the panic sells and snag it up cheap! LOL

Waiting for the price to hit the bottom low before I buy back, less than a dollar per ETC would probably be a good start.

I have faith though that if ETH ever fucks up again in the future which no doubt they will you'll see a huge spike in ETC when users/business flock.

Don't expect anything miraculous until mid September when you may see some real action. @IncludeBeer I see you mine/use Burst. I am about to start playing around with Burst once I have sorted all my HHDs. We are looking into a hybrid algo for ECT. Maybe PoW via GPU / PoC via HHD and PoS.We are looking into a system where the HHD mining can also facilitate cloud storage for smart phone dapps. I have much longterm hope for this efficent and green way of mining. I will be on the Burst thread next week for assistance in setting up my Burstmining.

Of course, ETH-fork solves nothing. If the wrong code (DAO), why repair computer (ETH)? I see no reason to invest in ETH-fork.

Go look at Ethereum roadmap! Lets remember, nothing went wrong with the way Ethereum / Ethereum Classic work. The tech is good The error is in the way slockit wrote it's smart contracts. Thanks to the Dao hacker, we now know how not to write smart contracts. If Eth Devs hadn't invested so heavily in the Dao they could have let it fail and have kept the integraty of the coin. They had a conflict of interests. I saw it and got out at 24mBTC just before the attack Instead they bailed their friends and themselves and are no better than the banksters and kleptocrats that run the global Gulag economy. Anyhow, ETH has another 4 forks planed. Good luck on the cloning program.

Not having a leader means no one can put pressure on them to bail out others. Remember, Bitcoin has an anonymous / fictional leader, Satoshi. In my eyes, that's why it works. We have something Ethereum hasn't got. Autonomy.

Hay, some people like to worship at the feet of Devs. I prefer them to be employees of the coin personally, but hay-ho, it takes all sorts. Moreove, Ethereum don't have enough momentum to escape the gravity of what they have done. They are still under 20mBTC one month after the fork. I still think getting out at 24mBTC was the right idea.
