Is Ethereum Classic (ETC) implementing all new future developments of Ethereum (ETH) so that everything is identical to ETH without the hard fork and censorship because of the DAO hack?

Is Ethereum Classic (ETC) implementing all new future developments of Ethereum (ETH) so that everything is identical to ETH without the hard fork and censorship because of the DAO hack?
So far from what I have seen and heard from the devs and community is that ETC is charting it's own course. There will be an update coming in the future to disable the difficulty bomb and keep POW in some form. This will effectively make ETC incompatible with ETH. Lots of interesting stuff coming already on ETC. So we are not bound to ETH for our future.

Interested to see where the price shakes out to tomorrow and what happens with the hacker ETC. I've been buying on the way down and want to buy more but am trying to resist the urge until we know what will happen.

I think we will see that most peoples fears will be unfounded, and we can get on with the real work of building Ethereum. IMHO

Its true! here is the original posts regarding it on their website: https://www.chbtc.com/news/show-1374-proclamationhttps://www.chbtc.com/news/show-1370-proclamation50% of ETC trading fees on CHBTC will be donated to ETC oriented developers, community organizations, Dapp active transaction applications and ETC, ETC to help the healthy development of the community. They are throwing their weight behind ETC and setting up Chinese sites! On other news JAXX will be intergrating ETC very soon as well. Let the games begin!!!!

Full disclosure. I don't own any. I love the project because its the continuation of the ethereum projects vision, and I love that vision. But the reason I can't commit to investing is the almost non existent github activity. Can anyone change my mind. Explain how I'm missing something. Or make the case for why I shouldn't be concerned about this.

Looks good to me, last updated 37 minutes ago https://github.com/ethereumproject/All those repos are for the neo-ethereum project. I just worry whether hoping to constantly mooch off their work is viable. I think this project is going to have to go its own way at some point.
