Please clarify. Will the weekly draws be completely canceled?
The prize pool comprises of undistributed funds that would otherwise have been spent in the weekly Draw Airdrop, making the draw a bi-weekly event. Instead of distributing funds at random to existing Obyte users, money is instead spent on incentivizing creation of useful applications on the platform. https://medium.com/obyte/obyte-autonomous-agents-developer-contest-6a67ae3dacd2subscribe the newsletter my friend

We believe that the retention rates could be improved by having more apps on the platform that the users would engage with and extract value from. LOL two years later you heard us. Too late tony Where have you been living? Under the rock? Obyte has been all the time "we need more adoption". There has been always been more tools available than anybody could need, now there is even more. users don't need your tools, they need apps. Apps better than other places can offer No sh!t, and who are doing these apps? Developers. This latest update is specially for them, so they can build more decentralized apps by doing more on-chain. Are you now saying that you have been telling we need more developers on Obyte all the time and nobody hasn't listened you? you have no funding anyway, good luck searching for enthusiasts What are you talking about FUDster? Just because we didn't do ICO doesn't mean we don't have funding. Did you even read any of the announcement posts or you just spread your FUD without even reading what the update was about https://medium.com/obyte/obyte-autonomous-agents-developer-contest-6a67ae3dacd2check gbyte price, your coins almost worthless. What about talented developers developing really necessary things and not useless crafts? We are sick of it. $16.159.762 is almost worthless? You must be rich as f... if you consider 16 million dollar worthless. But besides that: What are some "really necessary things" that a coin needs, that this coin does not have? Note the difference: That is necessary for a coin, not a thing that you want to have! 1. cap != money, cap = latest price x supply 2. obyte team don't own most of this supply this coin does not have use case, investment attractiveness, decentralization

Obyte role is to build the architecture and the tools, it is up to the community and businesses to build the services with the tools that is given to them. You just answered why you got burn with investing, you are not investing in potential, you are investing when there is FOMO or already established use cases, which is too late. Kind of makes yourself pretty good example how not to invest, I am glad you are here so everybody can see how somebody who made wrong decisions acts after that.

There is nothing more to clarify than what is official news https://medium.com/obyte/distribution-outlook-bb28ff0b91aaOnly thing is sure that at the moment it is decided that half of what was spent on Draw Airdrop, will be spent on rewarding developers who develop on Obyte with AAs and therefore also could help find bugs on something that is not yet released on mainnet. After that, distributions will get re-evaluated again, if somebody accidentally even comes up with a better distribution using the AAs then that could be used for distribution. Even the Oscript editor has some scripts that could be used for new distributions https://testnet.oscript.org/

tarmo888, sorry you and the boys got banned from /r/cryptocurrency on reddit. Just so you know, linking reddit threads (inside or outside of reddit) is considered vote manipulation/brigading, especially if you are requesting people to go to linked thread and vote or comment. That is against reddit site wide rules. That is why you guys were all banned, not for calling me racist (though I did ban you initially for a few days for calling me FUDster, as we also don't really allow name calling, but not as serious offense as VM/brigading). If you want to ask for ban to be lifted in a few weeks that should be fine. Even though I'm not a fan of byteball, I don't want you to be shut out of /r/cryptocurrency, but you have to play by the rules (or at least not be stupid enough to get caught).

Apparently mentioning network controller's nationality is racist.

For the record /r/cryptocurrency is the biggest pump-and-dump HODL scam nest on Reddit. Not being allowed to post there is in fact something to be proud of. That sub is oozing of lambo bois, fraudulent ICOs and money launderers who collude to pump everything that ultimately aligns with the Blockstream agenda (which is to thwart any real innovation in the space).
A couple of reasons why Byteball is not welcome there: 1. it was NOT launched as an ICO and none of the owners of r/cryptocurrency profit from Byteball's success 2. it attempts to solve real world problems, posing as an actual threat to the supremacy of Blockstream Token Coin (BTC) and Methereum (ETH)
TLDR: r/cryptocurrency is corrupt to the roots, Byteball is not corrupt and Byteball's success does not correlate well with the scamfest that is r/cryptocurrency and r/Bitcoin

Brother /r/cryptocurrency couldn't pump and dump it's way out of a wet paper bag. Have you seen the price action on the crapola that gets most heavily shilled there? Nano, vechain, iota, etc. They generally look almost as bad as byteball price chart. Anyway, I'm fairly transparent about what coins I hold, and none of them have had an ICO, and I think the only ones with premine is Decred and ETH, neither of which I hold much of. Good luck with the biting of balls o/

We are changing the way we communicate our development and other activities. Previously, we developed products and updates for some time and then released them when they were ready to be used. Being focused on real working products and the problems they solve, we didn’t involve the community in something that didn’t exist yet, couldn’t be shown yet, couldn’t be used yet. However, this practice has the downside that the community doesn’t know what we are working on, what’s next. Now we are going to share more about our current work and what we are going to launch in the near term. Hopefully, we’ll get early feedback that will help us to better prioritize and adjust the design of future product releases. The community will know better what to expect from Obyte and developers will know how the platform is going to evolve. The recent launch of Autonomous Agents on testnet already reveals the major update that is coming next to the production network. To make it clear what other new things are coming to the platform in the near future, we now start a series of What’s next blogs. The first article speaks about “contracts with arbiters” functionality that we are currently building and expect to add to the platform in the near future. Contracts with arbiters allow for safe arbitrary contracts between two parties backed by a human language text and a trusted arbiter to be called to settle a dispute in case it should arise. Read the full stories: https://medium.com/obyte/whats-next-for-obyte-b495cfbb698https://medium.com/obyte/whats-next-for-obyte-contracts-with-arbiter-7e625e05811a
