OK, that's yours, but the top 100 averages probably have on average at least 1k GBYTE, meaning the top 100 probably have 100x greater probability to win than any peon. It just seems like a game for whales.

The better solution is only attested user can enjoy the draw. People are more motivated to verify themselves

So I guess this lottery makes little sense for me. I'm allergic to lotteries anyway - it's dangerous to hope to win a lottery because you never know WHICH lottery you will end up winning - and most of the lotteries out there are just waiting to get someone killed.

Nobody link >945 GB with attestation like here http://draw.byteball.org/Oh look who has the most points and so greatest chance to win - unattested addresses with hundreds of GBYTE already. Who better to give another 400 GB per week to? This is just crazy, I guess not really surprising considering the way things have gone with this coin, but crazy nonetheless. Looking forward to the rebrand to see what insanity comes next

Maybe bytes for attested users and blackbytes for un-attested users.

How do we enter the lottery?
Ready to play?
The first draw is on Friday Dec 14 at 12:00 UTC. Have your addresses linked in advance: add the Draw Airdrop bot from the Bot Store inside your Byteball wallet and follow the instructions. Good luck!

I'm waiting for a Clon... A project that has focused directly on the benefit of a specific target group has been successful from the start and after a few weeks is further than this.

The people one -> GB, the existing one -> GBB. It makes sense, to use GBB you need GB first lol

This new lottery again seems like a good idea executed in a really bad way. Why the hell do you give 200GB to a single person once per week? Why not 20GB to 10 people per week or 2 GB to 100 people per week?
(not to speak of preferring KYC accounts and whales despite the 90% discount ...)

Exactly! i do not believe that the people who decided that are that stupid. On the contrary, they are smart enough to see that this lottery will be beneficial only to people who invested fiat cash. Otherwise there is no other way of gathering so much Byteball. Here is my logic: 1. All Crypto bleeds heavily. Byteball too. 2. Fresh money is needed. 3. Lets find a way to bring more fresh money into Byteball 4. Let's put a big award to everyone who has so much Byteball that the only way he can aquired them is by buying them. 5. We'll call it "honest, decentralized, fair" etc untill people believe it is 6. We'll ask then for KYC, all the people with a little amount of Byteball will just quit, because it is not worth it. That way we'll have more chance for the rich. 7. Success! Coin dies

There is only 3 600 GBYTE on sale on Bittrex vs 60 000 GBYTE that people want to buy and huge buy wall has been up for a week now https://international.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-GBYTEAnd even then, it is not against fiat cash, it is a BTC pair. Only way you can get GBYTE for cash is via the creditcard bot, which is not operated by Byteball, but Indacoin. I don't like the distribution either, but I don't talk sh|t about it either because this what the community asked for, lottery distribution to existing bagholders. I guess you can't satisfy everybody, there is always somebody who doesn't like whatever Byteball does.

Keep in mind that comminuty is comprised of whales . From everything I've red so far, this coin did some bad decisions in the past and now is trying to fix that. To fix that by doing more of the same. This is like stepping on the rake twice. Combining "Byteball" + "lottery" is degrading enough for this coin.

Yes 200 GB is to much to the ratio of WCG distribution (the electricity bill was big ) In the christmas time is one time 200 GB all right. Maybe we have in next time all 7 days a dump of 200 GB... but please do not forget: This is a new distribution format that to our knowledge has never been tried before and we can’t be sure that we made no mistakes in designing these rules. Based on experience from previous weeks, we’ll adjust the rules of the draw, the amounts paid, points per GB, etc. https://medium.com/byteball/weekly-draw-for-the-byteball-community-f464ae731c88My idea of new rules is this: 1. week jan (10 GB for attested, 5 GB for non attested) 2. week jan (14 GB for attested, 7 GB for non attested) +4 GB 3. week jan (18 GB for attested, 9 GB for non attested) +4 GB ... ... Next year christmas 2019 we have the full jackpot of 200 GB again I don't know, but i know undistributed bytes should get into many hands! A wallet of 900 GB don't need 200 GB more and as well a single person... How many undistributed GB left?

The project seems to be so unpopular in the meantime that not even people who want to clone it can be found anymore.
From the user's point of view, this technique is finally something useful. But it has to be complemented by a software solution that creates a direct benefit and distributes this currency in a really meaningful way.
The Byteball regime is still arrogant and ignorant of such elementary demands.

Maybe the problem is you that nobody wants to implement your idea. There has been plenty of people who have forked Byteball (just look at the Github repository), some even have done the branding, rebuilt the wallet and everything, but I have not followed up how many actually alive.

"We have designed the rules to favor of participants with smaller balances, so larger balances don't result in lots of additional points." This is simply not true. It's designed to favor people that have a lot of GBYTE already. An attested user with 20 GBYTE will receive 11 points, while an anonymous user with 1000 GBYTE will receive 100 points, or 10k GBYTE holder will get 1000 points. The Byteball richlist only shows the top 100, but those addresses all contain approximately 1k GBYTE up to 10k GBYTE or more. If you analyze the people that have currently entered the drawing here http://draw.byteball.org there are currently 828 total points, and about 414 of those points are owned by addresses of people that already have at least 200 GBYTE - so currently there is a fifty percent chance that someone who already owns 200 or more GBYTE will get a bonus of 200 more. In my opinion this is anything but favoring people with smaller balances, and seems to run completely counter to trying to get more people involved.
